  1. Does anyone know what the Nuva Canister lids meant as far as story wise goes? They resemble the suva the 2001 toa had, but the middle part was swapped for a completely different thing... and I'm at a loss of what exactly that was for.
  2. They can wear any type of mask. But they're not able to use them. The one exception may be the Ignika... wearing that mask might not be the best idea...
  3. Yes please? I'd love new powers if they have those :D
  4. Honestly I thought of that too, what if the Brotherhood had planned it all along. Though, with the name like Exo-Toa, it's like like an exoskeleton, it's meant for something to be inside and it act like armor... so something about it is comparable with the Toa, even if it does damper the powers significantly. I do like the point you made that no matter what energy goes through it (outside or into) it will dampen, kinda like a protection ability as well... being a suit of armor it makes sense that it's main purpose would be defense not necessarily attack. Though that theory works with the Kal as well, they used gravity, electricity and sonics and magnetism, all of which metal is very susceptible to.
  5. I've already mentioned this theory in this topic when we were discussing head-canon, and I have a theory about Exo-Toa, and it struck me as maybe it might not be just head-canon and whether it could actually be a possibility. Anywhooo here goes: We know the story of the Exo-Toa, how the Mata used the suits of armor to battle the Bahrag queens but the suits hampered the Toa's energies and so the Toa eventually discarded them and defeated the twins using their powers. It made me wonder, what was the use of making a machine that hampered severely a Toa's natural abilities if only to boost their strength and so forth? So I came up with the theory: What if Exo-Toa are powered by a Toa's elemental powers? Since all their energies are being "absorbed" by the machine, it makes sense why the Toa is unable to use it in battle. And in exchange for the "power boost" the suit of armor grants the Toa extreme strength and other abilities (not to mention use of the special weapons the armor has). Now Exo-Toa are able to function without a Toa rider, but I think the lack of a constant charge of energy makes them somewhat weaker in battle, (like when they were battling the Kal, sure the Kal had them overpowered, but the Exo-Toa went down pretty easily) So basically an Exo-Toa with a rider would be much more powerful than without one. But they're still useful considering they make up a bit of the Brotherhood's army. So, let me know what you guys think.
  6. They're just copper colored, (I should know, I've had the privilege of owning 3 lol) but they're as plastic as plastic can be haha
  7. "Good old Velika. Never use two words when 127 will do." -Kazi "Ah this is the life. Wake up in the morning, have a little breakfast, and then spend all day trying to avoid being fried." -Lewa Among many others from Vezon and so forth
  8. That sort of last-minute change can occasionally happen for individual sets, but never for a full theme. If it's true that there are currently plans for a BIONICLE revival in 2015, then it's already too late for those plans to be completely abandoned. Fair enough. Well I'll keep hopeful then...
  9. Tis a great day to be alive...

  10. Wow 13 years... hard to believe... we must have a celebration when we reach 15! that's gotta be an achievement lol keep it alive guys!
  11. Very very impressive... those guys are too cool!
  12. Out of curiosity, what would that feel like for all of time to happen at once? I feel like everything would just cease to exist then and become void. I dunno, seems kinda scary, tbh. A giant ball of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff.
  13. I totally am not sure. I have seen "evidence" for certain sets and such in the past, (aka Pirates of the Carribean and sets in that field) and they ended up changing things last minute it appears. So I'm going to remain hopefully skeptical until more info is given.
  14. I'm surprised you didn't choose the Olmak or the Kualsi lol they'd get you there much quicker.
  15. Lariska definitely (how else could you act out the Federation of Fear if you don't have the complete set, and she's the only character in that plot that didn't get a set) Other than that, Chiara and Orde and Zaria would be a good set choice.
  16. Have I told you before that you're an amazing writer? I love the things you've done with the Brotherhood, with Makuta, and everything. I admit I got teary eyed at the end when Kraata-Kal was paying homage to his maker. It adds a sentimental feel to it all, and it was amazing. Rest in Peace Makuta, you will be forever remembered.
  17. You know, playing as a Bohrok would be really fun... if you do decide to use it, you can give the option of taking control over an AI character by throwing a krana at it and using it as a new body for a period of time, or until you die. Then you get a new krana when you "respawn" and it starts over... that'd be really interesting if it could work.
  18. Sure was. You just had to buy mask packs until you got one, which, given the rarity, might have cost you more than the Muaka set in the long run. But in that case you'd also end up with some really good masks like the gold/silver or many of the Toa's various colors. I'd say for a collector it'd be the better deal (unless you love tigers and bulls) The gold and silver masks were only available in the second series of mask packs. The infected masks, to my knowledge, were only in the first series of mask packs. It's true a collector could build up quite a collection by buying that many mask packs, but I'd argue that just about anyone else would be missing out on one of the best sets of early Bionicle. Muaka and Kane Ra had a great function that made for one of the most thrilling competitive "games" of any of the paired Rahi or Toa. Ah well, I sadly wouldn't know, I never had the chance to own any of the 2001 Rahi sets.
  19. Then raises the question... who made the Heart of the Visorak? Gorast was the first to use it, but did Chirox make it, or did they "convince" Artahka to create it?

  21. He came out in fall, 2003 with the Rahkshi and Takanuva. The only buyable set of Teridax, the other being "Ultimate Dume" both are his "shadow titan form" that he uses when he isn't shapeshifted into another form. His "default" if you prefer.
  22. You mean there was a way to get it without paying an arm and a leg by purchasing the Muaka set? That's quite a shocker...
  23. Well in MoL Makuta basically reaches inside of himself and pulls 3 Kraata fully formed out, so it appears to be a very quick process and he can at least make three at a time, and it seems they form their shape inside his armor then he's able to alter his density and pull them out.
