  1. I hit three more buttons on my control panel. As the graviton-burst hyper-space relativity jump drive enages, I hook it up to three stolen Vahi from alternate timelines, and timetravel back through the fourth axis. Scanners find the location of the mask by tracking its energy, and I warp above your area. I beam a force of FOhrok down, which take the mask and beam up again. I warp to the Andromeda Galaxy.
  2. IC: Shadowstalker SHadowstalker mentally kicked himself. He smirked behind the tinted facelate of his 'hunting' helmet, and asked "So how do I get access?". He didn't really care about regulations, he just wanted an excuse to get outside and sneak in through a window or something.
  3. IC: Fekoro Fekoro took the proffered hand, pulling himself upright. "Yeah, I'm fine." he said, "I never was good at steering boats."
  4. IC: Shadowstalker Shadowstalker had never been one for rules, so he opened the door and snuck inside
  5. IC: Shadowstalker The nimble Skakdi swung to a halt in the trees, and acrobatically made his way down, using the talons built into his prosthetic arm to help grip. Landing on his feet, he quickly made his way to the Le-Koro Fitness Center and knocked on the door.
  6. IC: (Fotioks) FOtioks clambered onto a bar chair and called for a drink.
  7. IC: Shadowstalker A Skakdi swung though teh dense forest. He himself was nearly invisible, given his years of stealth training, but everything nearby was not to him, as his vision power clearly displayed the heat emenating from all nearby beings.
  8. How about a Mask of Catalysis? It could speed up or slow down chemical reactions.
  9. As you reflect upon these matters, you notice a meteorite in the sky. It streaks downward, hitting the ground with terrific force a full football field away from you. The small black sphere is but a homing device, as twoscore robotic troops teleport down from my moonship and aim blasters at everyone here. I, in a robotic suit of armor similar to an Exo-Toa, teleport down and take the mask. The troops beam up with me again, and the moonship warps away. There is only the black sphere remains, projecting a holographic message: MY MASK
  10. IC: Fekoro The Toa caught himself falling asleep and shook his head. He concentrated, exerting his elemental power on the raft. It lurched, then sped up, heading for shore. Steering with difficulty, he ended up crashing at the feet of a Toa of Fire. Fekoro got up slowly.
  11. IC: Fotioks The Matoran slowly drifted out of unconciousness, and dragged himself upright. He lurched for a moment, trying to keep his balence OOC: Open for interaction.
  12. It's an indication that they're happy for other people's characters to interact with theirs; people mostly use it when they haven't got anything specific for their character to do but don't want to just leave them doing nothing. Ah, thank you.
  13. Name: Verdas Species and Gender: Male Ko-Toa Appearance: Despite his status as a Ko-Toa, he has taken great pains to disquise it. He wears a suit of armor colored with Ta-Toa colors, and has used a synthetic covering on his mask that can be peeled off and reapplied.. He is small, lean, and wiry. Despite this, he is an eccelent physical speciman, which when combined with his Calix, makes him a formidable force. He wears a Rhotuka launcher on his chest. When near his home n teh Ko-Metru area, he wears a standard cloak, doesn't wear his armor, and takes the red coloring off his mask. Kanohi: Calix Weapons: Besides his Rhotuka launcher, he carries a long, thin blade made of a transparent mineral as strong as metal and impervious to the cold. He also carries a handheld weapon that works in an odd way: He places a short metal rod with a tip in the firing cylinder, then absorbs the cold energy in the pressure chamber. As the air expands, he pulls the trigger, which opens a valve in the pressure chamber, which releases the hot air into the firing cylinder, and the pressure fires the spear at great velocity. Gear: A hook on a chain for climbing, a backpack, and a heatstone. Abilities, Powers, and Skills: He is an accomplished martial artist, which is amplified by his Calix. His Rhotuka absorbs the 'cold energy' and ice through its flight path and from the target, and transfers it to him. Standard Ice powers, as well as having mastered absorbing cold energy to make heat. However, he is inept in business and political matters. Good climber Personality: He feels very strongly that the Ko should not take all power because of a cirumstance, and has thus adopted the alter-ego of the 'heater', an outlaw that sneaks into forges and heating areas and helps with the work. He also will repel Ko law enforcers that are trying to bully non-Ko. Weaknesses: Being forced into a diplomatic situation, or being attacked from behind. He is also vulnerable to ranged weapons. Biography: He became a TOa soon after the ice age, and decided he had to do something about the impending status oppression He doesn't talk much about his past, mainly because he has no one to talk to.
  14. What does 'open for interaction' mean? I've seen some other people use it.
  15. I land on my feet with epic ninja skills and use Spinjistu to take the mask. My mask.

  17. IC: Fekoro Fekoro rowed steadily toward the Koro on his metallic raft, rowing with a metal paddle. He was tired and hungry, and needed somewhere to sleep. Maybe there was an inn in Ga-Koro where he could get some food. OOC: Open for interaction.

  19. You pass my moon-sized space craft, which engages its concentrated graviton manipulators to send you crashing down to the earth and the mask to fly into my hands. I activate the graviton burst hyperspace relativity jump drive and warp away. Moi mask
  20. Welcome to the game! I'm Ghosthands or GH (pay no attention to my current display name - we tend to change them a lot around here). Just had a look over your profiles, and they look good, but you might want to tone down the references to MU locations and groups; it can be a bit difficult for new players to grasp, but the BZPRPG is set in an entirely different universe (or multiverse, or whatever you want to call it) from Bionicle canon. To give the game-world some mystery, the game staff keep a lot of details unrevealed. We don't know, for example, whether the MU exists as it did in canon. As a general 'rule', if we didn't know about it in 2001, we don't know about it now - but there's a whole host of exceptions to that 'rule', as you will soon see! Some things from later years' canon that do exist include: Foreigners like Skakdi and Vortixx, who were transported to Mata Nui from faraway lands by Makuta; the process wiped most of their memories, though, so we don't know much about where they came from. They also carry 'Foreign Tech' with them - see the profiles topic for more info on that.Rahkshi; since Makuta's defeat, they've all gone feral. Not as dangerous as the six from 2003, but still more than a match for the average being.Stuff like Protosteel, newer types of Kanohi, other elements...We've also got some entirely original stuff, most notably the Kentoku Archipelago and its inhabitants the Dasaka - see its topic. I saw you mentioned the Nynrah Ghosts in one of your profiles: unfortunately, they're one of the things that we don't know whether they exist You can still use the character concept, for sure, but I recommend you remove the reference to the Ghosts and change it to 'a group of inventors' or something similarly vague. I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have (though I expect Gear may have done so already ), so it remains only for me to say, enjoy your stay! (also sorry to the Staff for writing such a long post that arguably could have been a PM ) Thanks for the info! I was wondering why Mata Nui was the only location. I'll try to fix the Nynrah thing.
  21. Hi. I'm extremely new to the BZPRPG, though I have some RPing experience. I may or may not have some questions later, but right now I thought I'd introduce myself. (Geardirector told me about this topic-thingy though)
  22. IC:(Fotioks) Fotioks trudged toward the inn, his doublesword on his back. He was tired, very much so, and was looking for something to eat and drink. He lurched slightly, before righting himself.
  23. Name: Draft Species: Vortixx Appearence: Draft is slightly shorter then normal Vortixx, wearing a poorly-fitting suit of armor. The suit is clanky, loose, and a little rusty, but Draft wouldn't part for it for the world. He wears a helmet, which is similarly poor-fitting to his suit of armor, but different in every other respect. It is a shiny silver, reflective, and has a straight mirror plate on the forehead section. The rest is mostly spherical in shape. This is Draft's most valuable possesion, made of an alloy found nowhere currently found, and Draft refuses to say where it came from. He doesn't seem to know either. He wears a long Lightstone Rifle with a belt-loading system slung across his back, along with two short swords the length of his forearm, and his boots are a new-looking reddish metal. Equipment: Two metal shortswords, a long Lightstone Rifle with belt-loading system, and his flight boots. The boots, operated my a mysterious repulsion energy, are very unrelieble and have a tendancy to shut off at the most inconvenient times. Thus, he cannot use them to fly very high or far. They don't go too fast either. They are activated by clicking the heels together. Backstory/personality: Draft, though a fine inventor normally, always has the worst luck. Arriving somehow via a malfunctioning Toa Canister he managed to get stuck in, he got out with his current stuff and began wandering. Very little is knonw about his previous life, except that he was abandoned on the Mountain during the traditional Vortixx climbing thing and escaped due to a landslide. He is kinda sensitive about his past, and gets mad when anyone mentions it. He is very hard to discourage when working on something. Weaknesses: The unreliability of his flight boots can be exploited to beat him. Despite his near-mastery with his shortswords, he is bad at using his Rifle, and apt to miss. He will also chase after his helmet no matter what, which is easily exploited Name: Fekoro Species: Fe-Toa Appearence: Tall, with sand-colored armor and an x-shaped sheath across his back with twin Protosteel katanas. His Pehkui is shaped like a mix of a Hau and a Kakama. Kanohi: Pehkui Biography: A former member of a rouge inventors' group, he spoke out against the group's somewhat amoral ways... And was promptly mindwiped, thrown in a metal barrel, and tossed out to sea. He landed on an island, and found a TOa Stone. Fekoro has no idea why he is called that; it was the only name he could remember. He is slow to anger, but when he does get angry, watch out. He is almost uncanny with his element, being able to very precisely manipulate small objects. However, he is not good at lifting and/or throwing large objects with his element. He is not bad with math, physics, and invrenting things, but cannot remember his past, besides some trivial things. Weaknesses: He is not good at manipulating large objects. Name: Shadowstalker Species: Fa-Skakdi Vision Power: Thermal Imaging Equipment: An assortment of throwing knives and a long sword. His right arm is completely mechanical, armed with retractable metal talons.(This hopefully counts as the exotic thing) He sometimes wears a helmet with a tinted faceplate, preventing his eyes from glowing on the hunt. Appearence: A lean, wiry Skakdi who doesn't seem to make the slightest noise when he moves. His eyes look uncanny, sweeping over everything in the room and memorizing each detail. WHich they probably are. When on the hunt, you nearly never see him. Dark, gunmetal armor. Backstory: A total oddball at first, he was the only Skakdi in his thievery joint without an extra power. Once, a SKakdi got in a fight with him and Mental Blasted him, messing up his shy personality and making him into the assassin he is today. To make up for his power(Or lack thereof), he trained himself into a master of combat, martail arts, stalking, and assasin-ness. He has a possibly insane personality, rarely killing unless the situation warrents it or he's been payed, and generally sneaking after people to hone his skills or watch them look nervously around. He is often hired for assasination or guarding stuff, and is not very greedy to the point of stealing. He'll charge ridiculous prices, but doesn't steal. Weaknesses: He often has his thermal vision on, so sudden blasts of Plasma or other hot substance can severely disorient him. If the person has a ROde or Mask of Detection, he'll run away or attack quickly, jumping on them from behind with reckless ambition. This can be exploited. Name: Fotioks Species: Su-Matoran Appearence: A skinny, frail-looking Matoran wielding a double-sword that can be split in two. Wears a Powerless Calix Kanohi: Powerless Calix Biography: A quirky, shy matoran with a penchant for getting attacked, he lived in a quiet village near the coast. One day, however, the village was overrun by Rahi, and he was the only one that survived. He never directly attacks someone, instead defending, often in a way that causes the opponent to hurt themselves. He is not above tricking people into fighting others much stronger then they are if teh people were attacking him. Weakness: Powers are effective on him, particularly undodgable ones like mental powers. Name: The Sniper(Real name Gresak Species (Toa, Matoran, Turaga, etc.): Skakdi A detailed description or image: Gresak is lanky, with camouflaged armor. his eyes are like Reidak's, but he wears one-way tinted goggles to prevent people from seeing the glow. Gender: M Powers and/or weapons: Gresak has inaccessible Iron abilities and Telescopic Vision. He has a dagger, but it's nothing special. Technological items (and, if Foreign Tech, which staff member approved the item): He has several custom-made hand grenades that use Photothermic powder. he also has an advanced sniper rifle that fires powerful shots of energy, but takes 15 seconds to charge. Ha has a small Patero launcher. Weakness: Gresak is primarily a sniper, so if you get him on close-range, he's dead. Alignment (good, evil, neutral, etc.): Evil. Mercenary. History: Gresak washed up on a peninsula once with his rifle and armor. He found he had a natural talent for sharpshooting, and made his living via assassination. He gradually sharpened his craft, camoflaging his armor, getting his goggles and Patero Launcher, and buying his first grenade off teh black market, which he later reverse-engineered and built more of. Personality and traits: Gresak is cold-hearted, and compartmentalizes his emotions, effectively sweeping them into a 'back cabinet', or so to speak. This is probably terrible for him from a psychological point of view, but he does not care. All tech approved by Nuju Metru.
  24. I'm not sure quite how it contradicts it, but if you mean how Lewa escaped, I totally forgot about that part. Thanks for reminding me. And Velika wasn't necessarily going to kill Lewa. He definately could have been about to activate a mind-control device or something. No offense taken.
  25. Lewa stood around the prone bodies of some of the most powerful beings in existance, facing someone who could smash him with the push of a button, or worse. He looked at the mad Po-Matoran, who wasn't a Matoran. Lewa's mask, which had so often worn a smile, was curved into a grim frown. "And now, for the ultimate solution." the mad being known as Velika stated with obvious insanity. As Velika reached for a switch, something clicked in Lewa's head. "I have to destroy him. even if it means my life." The normally happy, airheaded Toa Nuva was now forced to call upon his last resort. He drew upon his reserves of elemental energy, and forced them out in one massive display of power. Velika cried out too late, as the blast of air shot outward with the force of an atom bomb, upturning everything in its path. The insane Great Being's frail form was thrown about like a straw, slamming into things. A few seconds after the blast of air shot out, the air begain to swirl. And swirl. ANd swirl. It went faster and faster, picking up anythingthat was not uprooted before and tossing it every which way. Lewa was suspened in the middle of the storm, his eyes closed in half concentration, half exhaustion, as he poured every last bit of his power into the storm. His fists were clenched, and all his muscles tense. The storm kept raging on, until finally Lewa's reserves were fully exhausted. The storm died down, dropping everything caught in it, Lewa fell to the ground, and knew no more. __________ Something I wrote on the LMBs.
