  1. I don't think that qualifies. It has non-existing colors and isn't rendered. You may want to redo that before the 1st of December because it does look cool.
  2. Why do they require 18+ to win? The first question has the options "under 13" and "13-17". If you say "it's for lugs" that doesn't work either because I am a teen and still part of the local lug and there is even a mostly teenage lug in the usa (pennsylvania I think). I did the survey anyway though.
  3. I just realized that it always a red skull spider in the comics that takes over, yet we haven't seen it in a set yet, hmmmm. Another good review from bzp.
  4. The picture review was great as usual but the use of vertical video made the video review a little annoying to watch and prevented seeing more of the set sometimes. The commentary and quality for the video was good but the video format (aspect ratio) and editing (the title card and the text added in post) were lacking a bit.
  5. My third entry- The Hunter Larger image- http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ENDfilms/MOCs/thehunter.png This ruthless mercenary is a self aware robot built by an unknown inventor. His overall goal is always the current goal of his inventor for him but beyond that he chooses his own targets to capture or eliminate. It is highly skilled at stealth but when he gets close enough to his target to pursue its bright red color scheme strikes fear into his targets, for they know it will never stop until it has stopped its target. It has its own built in exo suit that gives its arms incredible strength, enough to bend open think metal doors. Its feet have extra traction on the back and shock absorbing mechanics on the toes. It has two knives in holsters on the back of its legs. For its primary weapons it usually caries two swords or a disk launcher with an attached blade.
  6. The Nui Jaga weren't scorpion, Nui-Rama weren't flies and Ussal crabs... Well I guess they kind of were crabs but the point is Visorak were never called spiders so they could have as few or many legs as they wanted. Technically, I only raised this point as a petty nitpick because the number of legs these has really doesn't make me like it any less. In fact I think si legs is plenty as it most probably WOULD look crowded with more like others have said. Also, the real defence against the 'it's not a spider' argument is that the LOSS is never actually called a spider... It's the Lord OF the Skull Spiders... Anyone read Lord of the Rings? Sauron wasn't a ring, just the lord of them... Although in this instance we now have to berate the skull spiders themselves (who definitely ARE called spiders) as they have even fewer legs than LOSS. The Fikou spider is another instance of this rule buing broken but those little guys are just so darn cute they can go by whatever name they want Unfortunately the actual skull spiders have even fewer legs. Not that it looks bad but the scientist in me wants them to come up with a different name.
  7. The moc he made is cool but the rear section of the weapon kind of brakes the overall style in my opinion.
  8. Is there a reference I'm not getting here, or is this what you will be doing during down time?
  9. Hey, at least we're getting two more legs than the Visorak had! It's slow progress. ~B~ Where visorak ever called "spiders" specifically?
  10. I don't quite understand why so many people are bothered by this set aesthetically. Its looks due vary a bit from the aesthetic style of the other sets. This can be a pro or con depending on taste. It also is more gappy and incomplete looking than the other sets.
  11. Really? Is it in the game files of the 2006 downloadable version or the BioMediaProject version? Is it on Youtube somewhere? The LEGO site downloadable version, yeah. Strange... I have the 2006 downloable version and I can only find the regular cutscene in the files. (I know I have that version of the game because I went on the Wayback Machine and went to Bionicle.Lego.com in 2006 to download it, because at the time I didn't know what BioMediaProject was.) Can I have a link to where I can download this version? No. Just kidding, here you go. http://web.archive.org/web/20061202103631/http://www.lego.com/eng/bionicle/games/matanuiOnline1.aspx I recommend downloading the Walkthrough PDF. It has some nice trivia & fun facts about the game at the end. Thanks for the help. It makes sense they did a release in 2006 because it is an intro to the matoran versions and back story of some of the new toa.
  12. No, once your entry has been submitted it cannot be altered. What about edits of the text, not the picture (or should I delete my post and post again because I fixed typos)? Fixing a typo in your post is fine. It's your MOC that cannot be altered. Good to know the big "edited" message beneath the post doesn't doom my entry.

  14. looking at the concepts I'm glad they held off on constraction for a little while. It's cool to see the Knights Kingdom connection system was planned all the way back then.

  16. This is pretty much "The Lord Of Technic Parts Packs". From just seeing pictures in the past and hearing about the play features I had a 0% chance of buying this but after this review that has risen to a 25% chance just for the parts.
  17. I like how you did the the upper legs. The main issue is the exposed blue and red pins (but that's hard to avoid due to the lack of other colors for those).
  18. I really like these MOCs. They accomplish a simple look but have enough complexity to make them detailed and interesting.
  19. I like the way you did the head and helmet.
  20. That mask looks very detailed and clean, like an actual LEGO piece. The overall build is nice too and complements the mask.
  21. I like the look of the head. Overall a good and creative MOC.
  22. I know we aren't allowed to changes the pictures after we submit but are we allowed to fix typos in the description?
  23. My second entry- The Hidden One Full sized image- http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/ENDfilms/MOCs/thehiddenone.png This mysterious figure once plotted in a cave by a volcano on Okoto and was waiting till the skull spiders and villagers wear each other down so he could come out and easily conquer both. Those plans were ruined when the Toa arrived and tipped the balance of power in the fight. The Hidden One now moves on to his second plan for conquering the island- finding the mask of control. He is armed with a fire sword, two claws, and a weapon that fires super-heated balls of lava which he will use all of, if he needs to, to complete his goals.
  24. The model looks quite cool and I love that 3 of the new shell covers in white come in a small set. My one critiques would be he looks a little too fat/round and the yellow parts don't fit the scheme.
