I'm SO MAD at myself! I found a lot on eBay yesterday that had TOA MATA NUI (as well as a bunch of other parts) for $26! I thought it ended Monday, but apparently it end last night at 8pm and I lost it. Some lucky person got Toa Mata Nui for $52. Last Sunday I missed out on a chance for 7 throwbots, two Bohrok, and Pohatu Mata for $25. Time ran out and it was unsold. He has yet to relist it. My luck on that site is so twisted and unfortunate.

I got very excited about this topic until I read the part where you said you aren't selling as individual sets. If you change your mind and decide to sell individually PM me. I see a few on there from my wish list.

I highly doubt that. I could be very wrong, but I'd imagine another Makuta set is on it's way in the coming years. There's not much left to say that hasn't been mentioned so I'll just throw my two cents in: These sets are WAYYY better than the previous pictures made them look. I was pretty disappointed and wasn't gonna get any of them, but now I'm tempted. Kudos. Lego: getting more of my money, once set at a time!

This does make me wonder... Do most people have these types of collectibles, rare pieces, and prototypes... A. Use them on MoCs like a regular piece B. Have some sort of a display system/never touch them unless absolutely necessary C. Other (or combination) I'm just curious to see how seriously most of these owners take the bricks.

I noticed that the link has been taken down. The site claims it needs to be restocked, but what do you guys think the chances are that the bot factory sets won't be appearing any time soon (like, ever)?

I know this won't happen, but I would like CCBS to be phased out into another system (much like HF used Bionicle parts for a year, then switched to CCBS full time). I find the armor shells and the limbs to be the most impossible things to use in MoCs unless I try really hard to incorporate them. That said, I don't despise CCBS, but for MoC-ing, it has limits. Oh, and more eye colors, but now this topic sounds like a broken record....

Are we allowed to enter a MoC of a character that already has a CCBS set (namely the toa)? There were three different versions of each of them released as sets (Mata, Nuva, and Phantoka/Mistika), so it would make sense that different versions would be possible in the CCBS-verse too.

I must say, the parody was clever. especially the rap sections. I believe the movie to be about so much more than selling legos (fun, creativity, working together, easing up, etc.), but the episode was clever nonetheless. Why is that? I never really imagined Bionicle and that channel had many fans in common. I dunno, I guess I thought someone would have asked him to say Unity Duty Destiny by now. I'd have to say I agree. BZP isn't the first place I'd think would post an honest trailer (unless he were to somehow end up doing one for MoL, LoMN, or something like that!). Cool story.

That being said, is there any way to be able to get said prototypes/misprints? I don't want to drop tons of money on a single piece (they can't be sold anyways, so that removes that option), but something about them keeps calling me.

meh these... well... Couldn't have said it better myself. The only two I could find myself partially interested in were Grinder+maker and Basher. I think my Bonkle funds are going to be used to get gen1 this year. Disappointing tbh. I WANT THE TRANS MASKS THO.

I get sick of you possessing everything in sight and so I beat the tar out of Dallior and steal the Vahi, travel back to post #2718 (as Onaku is messing with the coding of SV's power staff) and use that staff to rid you of your ability to posses anything and banish you to Gukko Lord's frontal lobes. I then send the staff back in time (that way we get here properly) and pay Onaku off to destroy the vahi AND the staff of power once I return to my proper time. The payment offered is worth so much more back then due to inflation that he had no choice but to agree. Post #2733 occurs as it should and the staff is gone. Also, the Vahi explodes upon my arrival back in the current timeline. MY MASK.

Nope. Mine. When I sold that spear to BionicMushroom I made him sign a contract that had a hidden clause that gave ownership of the spear and anything on it to me if it were ever to become the owner of the mask (which it did). My spear, mask, and apparently, since his dead body hasn't been removed from the spear, dead SV.

MoL holds a special place in my heart and forever will. Every time my best friend growing up and I had a sleepover, we watched MoL. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I know a majority of that movie by heart now and every time I watch it I feel happier. 2 wasn't bad, had a bunch of inconsistencies, but it still was a pretty good movie seeing as it was based off of a kid's toy line. Most aren't that great. Issue tho, You expect me to believe the disk hunt took one day? SUUUREEEE. (After the disk hunt Whenua says something along the lines of "when I woke up this morning [as a Matoran], all I was worried about was cataloging, now I'm going down in history as Metru Nui's most wanted.") My biggest complaints about WoS: 3. Didn't all of the Visorak have different powers? Why wasn't that used? 2. KEE FREAKING TONGU. No one knew where he was for how many years and of course, the protagonists are able to find him in less than a week. hmph. And #1. WHY did Matau and Onewa switch roles from LoMN to WoS?? Lewa went from being the goofy, always happy one to ridiculing Vakama at any moment. Onewa went from being that to a scaredy cat only used here and there for humor. Me no like that... That being said, I love them all. peace.
