  1. I'd say that if LEGO does actually implement any of these, it won't be because of a topic on BZP.
  2. Here's another conjecture: canisters would melt if you brought them with you to take photos of lava. Conjecture: canisters would crack into pieces if you rolled over them with a steam roller. (Bonus: the other two types of packaging wouldn't.) Conjecture: if you put a lizard in the canister it will probably get filthy. Man, all these conjectures about unlikely things are making canisters look pretty bad. Sure, they're not likely to happen, but it's conjecture. Thank you. Just what I meant. I think she was teasing you, actually.
  3. Sorry, glossed over? Just how much story did Gen1 have in the first 4 months? Most of the nitty gritty was later on, anyway, mostly via Greg Answers. Basically, be quiet and be patient. The novels aren't even released yet. Chill.
  4. ...don't judge me. >~> Hey, I'm not judging... okay, maybe a bit. But I totally get the feeling of nostalgia. Early summer days remind me of the Glatorian, because I moved in June 2010, and I had just found Glatorian Arena 3 online, so I played it a whole lot after the move.
  5. The lime greens... THE LIME GREENS!!!! Are you referring to the brittle lime pieces, or the large amount of lime that we saw in Gresh, Vastus, Tarduk, and Tuma? In any case, as much as I love Gresh's color scheme, I like Lewa2015's more.
  6. ??? I have to agree with Skeleton man, having BH be canon would not be a good thing. I think they intended to mean "Shame the game didn't follow the actual canon," not "Shame the game's hamfisted excuse plot wasn't used for the actual 2006 story." Hit it on the ball, Lyichir. I always wanted more canon games, but the only ones we got were, to my knowledge, Quest for the Toa, MNOG, MNOGII, and Maze of Shadows.
  7. What, Forgeta, do you live in New Zealand? Only place I can think of with the amazing plains and mountains you can see in the background of MNOGII.
  8. Onu-Mangai? Is that the Protector of Earth? I still think we should call him Barney... why? http://bzpower.com/story.php?ID=7151 Click the link, Moamahrimatoro. It explains why PoE can be called Barney.
  9. Mostly because of need to transport sets and parts around, like when I move. Right, but the original containers are usually rather impractical in this sense. They usually can't hold the original set completely built, and they're not super amazing at holding parts. When I visit my little cousin this summer, I'm gonna bring all of my gen2 sets, so I'm most likely gonna take them all apart and put them in a gallon-zip-lock bag or two. I feel there would be a lot of wasted space if I brought the sets in their original containers (which have actually long been recycled).
  10. Why, exactly? It's not particularly important for the story. In fact, it would detract from the story if we learned all the nitty-gritty details on Toa and villager biology.
  11. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens when Tahu, Gali, Lewa, Kopaka, Pohatu and Onua meet Tahu, Gali, Lewa, Kopaka, Pohatu and Onua. Gen1 Tahu would be furious at Gen2 Tahu for being so much better than him (keep in mind that where the story left off, Tahu was in his Stars form).
  12. Thank goodness you're joking. Seriously, I don't want that in Gen2. At all.
  13. I don't want it to be a continuation per se, but more of a reincarnation or the child of G1... it should be new and have its own aspects while also borrowing certain elements from G1. That's what it already is! We've got the six Toa (Mata), the Mask of Time, golden masks, Makuta is the villain, what more could you want?
  14. Why do so many people want a continuation of Gen1? Do you guys not realize how much of a financial mistake that would be? The reason Gen1 ended is because sales had gotten much worse. Do you really think LEGO want's to continue something that didn't give them a satisfactory profit? Not everything is about fanservice, and not every fanservice is about us! AFoLs are NOT the target audience! Kids 6-14 are the target audience. I feel like sometimes the folks on BZP tend to think of ourselves as more than we are to LEGO. Are we fans? Yes. Does LEGO appreciate us? Certainly. Does LEGO want to do everything in their power to please us? Heck no! They've got kids to appeal to, we're not gonna get anywhere by whining for more Gen1 related stuff.
  15. I don't mean to insult anyone, and I just want to ask this question: Why do you want to keep the containers? I mean, once you build the sets, why would you need the boxes anymore? It really seems like a waste of space to me. If anyone who does this could explain to me, I'd appreciate it greatly.
  16. Considering that those figures are 14 years old, and Bionicle has totally moved on from them, I don't think that this idea has any chance at fruition.
  17. I only ever had the gamecube version that I played on my Wii. The music in that was pretty good. Shame the game wasn't canonical.
  18. Thank you, ToaDraco, for saying that bit about the masks. The mask-packs are a no-no, but yes, some mask recolors might be neato. Don't really know how they'd be applied, but alright. It works.
  19. That's a given, really. The point is, all of the bios we're given aren't very descriptive, and some of the Toa may need more character development than others.
  20. Well said, Lyichir. Back on the topic of Villagers, some villagers are shown in "The Legend". One fire, one water, and one jungle are doing activities on Okoto, and they were solid red, blue, and green masks, respectively. While that doesn't necessarily mean that the villagers don't wear other color masks, it certainly supports that notion. EDIT: Oh, dang. I started writing this earlier, but by the time I got around to posting it, I was behind. Sorry if I disrupted the flow of conversation.
  21. Rahkshi Lalonde, I think tesseract boxes would break the planes of existence. Neat idea, though.
  22. First of all, Bionicle 2015, as far as new reveals go, is over. It's 2016 you should be worried about. Also, you selected the "Allow multiple choice" option, and I think it would be better if you turned that off. Now that I've got that out of the way, look at some of my arguments in the Mistika canister discussion. I feel like I'd be wasting my breath if I said it again.
  23. Halo CCBS? I suppose we could get quite a few figures with that. Master Chief, Commander Palmer, maybe Sergeant Johnson for the UNSC, and an Elite, Jackal, and Grunt for the Covenant? Maybe get the Arbiter instead of a regular Elite. As for weapons, Chief could have an assault rifle and magnum, Palmer could have dual SMGs, and Johnson would get a shotgun with a magnum. Arbiter could get an energy sword and some kind of plasma rifle or repeater. Grunt with a plasma pistol, and Jackal with a shield and needler. I know this would never happen, but it's a neat idea to think about.
  24. Good God, that orange one looks like a gummy gone wrong... but yeah, I see some definite differences between the green one you show.
  25. I don't know if you're editing skills, or just the nature of the masks, but I think I was most certainly right in saying that they are quite garish. I certainly wouldn't want to collect those.
