Inhabitant (2/293)

  1. IC: Selris - Ta-Koro Without a word, he begrudgingly trailed behind the Toa.
  2. IC: Selris - Ta Koro "Buying. You'd be correct in your assumption."
  3. IC: Liquid - Library. After finding himself at a complete loss to what the Rahkshi in the refectory seemed to be doing, he decided to head over to the library to gain more knowledge. Glancing around the shelves, he attempted to find a text regarding Rahkshi biology to understand more about himself first.
  4. IC: Selris - Ta-koro Selris glanced behind him as he heard a voice seemingly refer to him. He narrowed his eyes slightly as he noted that the being responsible for it was a Toa. Ridiculously large beings – one of the reasons he usually stayed in his cave in Onu-Koro. He decided his response would be brief to avoid as much conversation as possible. "...I-I seek whatever area holds merchants and traders." He bluntly stated. He noted that he seemed to have adopted a slight stutter for some reason. How long has it been since he's spoken?
  5. IC: Selris - Ta-Koro Unimpressed with the guards, he simply decided to let himself into the Koro. Allowing his traveling cloak to droop off of him slightly due to the sheer heat of the area he glanced around, attempting to find someone who was more knowledgable about the area.
  6. IC: Selris - Ta-Koro Selris slowly stumbled up to the gates of Ta-Koro, exhausted from his long trek. He glanced up at the guards as an unspoken request to enter.
  7. IC: Liquid - Refectory. Liquid enters the Refectory, looking around. He seems confused.
  8. IC: Selris - Onu-Koro Selris, after picking up the appropriate provisions and supplies, begins his long trek to Ta-Wahi.
  9. I'm assuming the tentacles you mention are just the regular mouthparts of a Rahkshi, or does he have actual tentacles poking out his face? Common sense. If everyone gets approval first then you don't get any ridiculously overpowered or continuity-breaking running around. In the BZPRPG this is impractical though (or was in its heyday, not so sure these days) as you;d get so many new characters, some of them being edited into existing profile posts making them harder to spot, that it would be tricky for the staff to actually get to them all. Sorry for the delays in posting IC btw guys. Work has been exhausting lately and has royally screwed up my sleeping patterns, and the Christmas break wasn't nearly as relaxing as I'd hoped it would be I'm referring to the spine-esque thingies that protrude from the head plate on the sets. Since his are less sleek and more erratic, I decided to refer to them as tentacles.
  10. Hi M!st, welcome to Corpus! We're glad to have you with us. But it should also be pointed out that after you post your profile, you're supposed to wait for GM approval of your character from Wyrd Bio Ful Araed before you can start posting as them in the gameplay topic. It isn't anything terrible, but it just might be a good gesture if you redacted this post and waited for that approval before reposting. (Unless you've gotten approval via PM, of course.) Then you'll be able to really join in. Oh. I apologize, I was confused. With my profile in the normal RP I was PM'd that I didn't have to wait for approval, so I suppose I got them mixed up.
  11. Name: Liquid Variation: Shapeshifting Level: 2 Gender: Neither (will use male pronouns.) Gear: Protosteel chain (length of two Rahkshi). Appearance: Standard blue armor with a dull golden trim. He also seems to have a deformity in his spine(?), giving it an unusual amount of flexibility, allowing him to move it as he pleases. His spine also seemed to split at the very tip, though this was more prominent on his frontal...tentacles. Personality: There's not much to be said about Liquid's personality. He seems to prefer quick, often unfair combat employing deception and trickery with his inherent Kraata power. He also seems to prefer hand-to-hand combat rather than weapons. Additionally, he seems to have difficulty understanding other's viewpoints if he disagrees with them (but might go along with it nonetheless). Bio: Once again, there was little to be said about Liquid. After running various tests to determine that he was a 'special' type of Kraata and asking him if he would like a name, he decided on the name Liquid after a few moments for no apparent reason (perhaps because of his specific power, it was unclear though). When asked to choose a weapon, he simply picked up a chain that he had noticed lying on the ground, insisting that he would be able to use it "In a lot of ways". Seemingly unshakable in his decision, he was taken over to the Academy for further training.
  12. IC: Selris - Onu-Koro The Onu-Matoran slowly departed from his cave, squinting slightly at the dim light of the Koro as he adjusted the cloak upon himself. Activating the simple locking mechanism, he stretched his limbs, slightly grateful to be out of the confines of his rather cramped home. After a couple moments of scanning the area, he began to make his way to the nearest shop.
  13. Name: Selris Species: Onu-Matoran A detailed description or image: Selris himself appeared to be a somewhat average looking Onu-Matoran, sporting dark violet and onyx black armor as well as a rough black cloak that he used for warmth and travel. Upon first glance he seemed to possess more athletic capabilities than other Matoran of his type, as well as some developed muscle – however, it wasn't anything to call home about. He seemed to have an affinity for technology, however, as he had a few adjustments to his armor and mask, the more notable things consisting of telescopic and microscopic goggles that he could slide down and activate either lense to serve whatever purpose he required, as well as a simple utility belt with a waist bag. Occasionally, he could be seen in his own exo-suit (will be touched on later.) He wears a powerless Kanohi Sanok. Gender: Male Powers and/or weapons: Crystal Hammer, simplistic Patero Launcher Technological items: Modifed Lightstone (blindingly bright, stored under a thick cloth.), micro and telescopic goggles, modified Volo Lutu Launcher (shaped like a hook, replaces his hand. Can stay attached to his wrist or be used for grappling.), as well as a windup drill (self explanatory, disappointingly ineffective for digging anything but dirt.) His cloak can be used as a poor gliding device, however it's barely functional and only capable of preventing immediate death from a fall. Weakness(es): Selris's nihilistic tendencies can often lead to inaction in dire situations. He's also a Matoran. Alignment (good, evil, neutral, etc.): Chaotic Neutral History: Selris's past is somewhat of a mystery. Most of what is known is that he has a private workshop in a cave/hut in Onu-koro which he keeps himself holed up in most of the time, only occasionally leaving to buy materials or food. Personality and traits: Selris is rather intelligent and highly invested in his work – when he wants to be (hinting at a mild case of bipolar disorder). For the most part, he seems to be quite a loner and often displays apathy when it comes to his fellow beings. He seems to care little for morals, however he isn't entirely selfish. He's capable of developing connections towards others, though it seems that he's managed to bury away the majority of his emotions. (I can't say I'm happy with how this turned out, but we'll see how it works out in action. Do I need approval?)
  14. ...So, this is my first time here at BZP, though I'm not a stranger to RP or forum RP. I just have a couple of questions before I get started: 1) What exactly is a 'weakness' in a profile? Apparently it has to be included in the profile, but I've never seen anything like that before. Obviously I know the definition of the word, but shouldn't weaknesses pretty much be either obvious or revealed when something happens? The only thing I see this doing is encouraging metagaming. 2) Is it okay if I make a 'trio'?
