  1. I think he looks a lot better without the trans-orange shells on his waist, and he doesn't look super thin like you would think. The reason I put them there, however, is because without them you can see a hole through the middle of the torso which I needed to fill in somehow. Later today I'll post 2 more versions, one with the shells in a different orientation which I feel looks better, and one without the shells at all. Also, I went for the gold armor pieces because he looked rather bland without them, I'll post pictures of that, too.
  2. Hey guys, Aetha here again with another MoC. This time I decided to take on the task of building a Tahu Mata with more details, as I`ve seen a few other users have done. This is my first time constructing bodies purely out of Technic pieces, so tell me what you think! IMGUR ALBUM: http://imgur.com/a/WC0x6#0 (And yes, I do know that a lot of the black and gray Technic pieces I used come in red as well, but unfortunately I simply did not have the parts.)
  3. I used two of these parts ( http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=90622 ) in the torso-area, but the rest is from the sets themselves. I also needed some extra 2 and 3 unit pins for the sheer number of things I needed to connect. Probably ~5-7 extra for each one. I also used the base of Gali's axe for Akamai's weapon, so I suppose I'm cheating there unless this was sold as a 6-in-1 deal.
  4. Everything is stellar, and then you see the mask. Not your fault, though, I know there is a very limited amount of Hero Factory masks available, and I think that if you had a wider selection this MoC would be beautiful. No hate, though, everything besides the mask was very well done.
  5. DISCLAIMER - Wairuha's blade design is NOT my own, I found it on Google images but after closing the tab I was unfortunately unable to recover it. After seeing all these Wairuha and Akamai MoCs on the forums, I was inspired to construct my own. So, as any reasonable Bionicle fan would do, I went and bought six brand new sets to aid me on my quest. This was the final result: IMGUR Album: http://imgur.com/a/1fXN0/layout/grid (Sorry for the ordering - IMGUR OP) Comments/critique appreciated!
  6. The Tower of Toa sells for ~$20.00 on Bricklink. I recommend checking there.
  7. You wouldn't mind making up a list of parts you used to make each of these (or even just one) and PMing me, would you (no instructions, just parts)? These are really good looking and I'd like to try to replicate them for my own collection, but I can understand if that isn't possible. Thanks in advance.
