  1. Regarding the people who won't put away their toys: http://www.getalifeman.com/ @ Windrider: You're right, this isn't the place for me, because I will have a life. EDIT: Goodbye.
  2. Welcome to BZPower! AKA:Peter Pan's computerized Neverland

  3. Regarding the people who won't put away their toys: The truth hurts, doesn't it?
  4. Trendy? I thought it was mature to do so. Not really. A big part of maturity is being able to recognize that you are 100% responsible for the choices you make in your life, and the consequences of those decisions. For some, that might mean getting rid of childhood relics to signify a new direction in life. But it's no less mature to continue to enjoy the things you once loved, while at the same time recognizing that it might affect how others perceive you. Neither course of action is wrong or "less mature"—they're just different ways of taking on adulthood. Another part of maturity is being able to pack up your toys for storage (for your future kids) once you are an adult.

  6. If only he could give or take other powers that he needed.
  7. Where did you get those swords?
  8. I said he wasn't prototype. I said that he was a prototype which means I still need to work on him. Messy and ugly is what his sword is all about: Carnage.
  9. NOTE: he's still a work in progress. http://www.us.lego.com/en-us/gallery/4dbe4823-5b56-41d0-9197-bb1c69c96b0d?index=1
  10. Then closed it'll be. ExCUSE me?! I state my opinion and why for g2. NOR do I write long, long, long ect. ect. and boring, boring, boring posts. So that doesn't make me a troll. But what about YOU? <(O_o)> Got any factual information to back that up? Or are you just making things up, like usual? It sounds like Ekimu is asking for our opinions on this, not unnecessary soporific factual information. So in that case I think they are doing pretty good considering their target audience. But if they were aiming for an audience around my brother's age, then I'd say that it is quite monotonous. And my brother and I view it that way because we are very detail oriented (as in we wish Doctor Who would have a more complex plot). I would also like to mention Lyichir, that your tone seems undignified and irritated; we don't mean to hurt your feelings about G2 or anything like that. Sorry if I seem bitter, but Gipsy Danger (formerly Toa Salvus) is back to his old tricks—popping into topics just to insert his insubstantial hatred.Even an anecdote about why he feels the sets have been unsuccessful would have improved his post—has he seen them lingering on store shelves? Seen steep discounts on sets that suggest stores are desperate to get rid of them? But no. His post contributed nothing at all to the topic: "The sets have been unsuccessful because I said so." Got any factual information to back that up? Or are you just making things up, like usual? You are persecuting me because my opinion differs from your's? Grow up.And here's exhibit A for his modus operandi: suddenly I'm "persecuting" him. Because I dared to apply a little bit of scrutiny to his bogus claims. Because somehow, the non-subjective issue of "are the sets doing well or not?" is a place where we share "opinions", rather than sharing our perspectives in search of some sort of truth. It's sad—I really thought you'd changed, Gipsy, or Salvus, or whatever you want to call yourself now. You'd been contributing positively to all sorts of topics, sharing opinions where it's merited, even posting your own MOCs and creative work. But apparently old habits die hard. Salvus? Gipsy has never went by Salvus. Who cares, he is just stating his opinion like you, me, and everyone else here. (Yes, hatred can be a component of an opinion.) Of course his post contributed nothing to the topic; none of our posts contribute to anything at all! Don't you people understand?! It is just a kid's toy line and you're insulting one another because of hatred for it or differing opinions?! Sheesh! So let's all calm down and do a reality check: https://screen.yahoo.com/star-trek-convention-000000768.html Different member, actually. But it seems pretty clear that this topic is about how successful the theme is overall, which isn't really something you can have an "opinion" about; it's really based on facts and numbers, not how any one person feels about the quality of the sets. And it's early yet, so we can't expect to have a clear answer, at least not for a while. So, I think everyone should step back for a second and take a breath. Thank goodness, another person who is sane and realistically viewing this topic.No. This topic is not for opinions, it's for factual evidence stating how G2 has been doing so far. Don't act like some self-righteous savior. This is about factual evidence, not opinion-equality.Grow up.Don't even try to act like a victim. You aren't. It's been stated that the nature of this topic is for facts, not opinions. If you can't follow those guidelines, then it isn't I who should grow up, now is it? You're 17. And your on a forum for a kid's toyline.

  13. I loved the Exo-Toa when I was a kid. Now that I have my own job, it might be hard to not want more than just one if a 2016 edition came out for the new toa. I doubt that, but who know? They might do it.
  14. I made it to the Pacific Rim forums!!!!!!!

  15. Ever since they showed this poster: We knew what Mata Nui was. They also released the Ninjago spinner pack for Samurai X before the tv show revealed Samurai X as Nya.
  16. Here's the link: http://www.us.lego.com/en-us/gallery/141b8daa-2f64-4de3-873e-5a88cc39e15e?index=3 Of course this is not the best, but at least I tried. I already know what is wrong with this, so no need to point it out.
  17. Looks like you used the Toa Metru design and added a weapon on his back. Neat! Wait a sec...that looks like a Jet pack. Is it?
  18. Man, we've come a long ways since the days of excessive emoticon use were extremely frowned upon. I'm almost expecting a burnmad blast in a topic one of these days. Anyways, an important thing to appreciate about my favorite Toa that I did not fully become cognizant of until much later in my BIONICLE fandom: he is the audience's stand-in for the introduction to the world of BIONICLE. Takua was not a fully-revealed character in the early stages of the Mata Nui Online Game (the game, played from the silent, first-person perspective, kind of made you feel like just some random entity who came into the world, but was still recognized as part of it), so BIONICLE Comic #1: The Coming of the Toa was the first opportunity for many to actually get in the head of someone like us who was viewing Mata Nui for the first time. Kopaka's personality is appropriate for us; guarded, inquisitive, but carrying some small measure of anticipation for greatness. It is what several of us felt upon immersing ourselves into the BIONICLE mythos and toyline. Over the course of the theme's life, Kopaka stopped being the main lens through which we viewed BIONICLE, but his importance was not forgotten. Greg Farshety, who considered Kopaka his favorite Toa, would often return to Kopaka's perspective in the BIONICLE books, continuing to remind us of that first entry into the world of Mata Nui. I still like Kopaka the most, but I didn't really appreciate that role of his until BIONICLE was over. A part of me wished "Journey's End" concluded with an Epilogue from Kopaka's perspective, perhaps even a reaffirmation that the scattered parts of the worlds had been made whole, made complete. And that the darkness cannot stand before a world united. You know were talking about the parts, not the story of Kopaka's, right?
  19. Mine was a Piraka MOC that was going to be all skeletal and with shredded abs and muscle.
  20. I'm a little confused by your comment. Are you referring to Loki from the Lego Marvel video games? He's never appeared in the sets with hair, just with his helmet. In any case, a common hairpiece being used for multiple villain characters hardly constitutes a trend—especially when it appears almost as often for heroic characters like Thor, Obi-Wan, and Aragorn. Well, I think he means in the movie for Loki, possibly.
  21. Sweet! It looks awesome.
  22. Byootiful. I THOUGHT GIPSY WAS A GRIL. WAT. Well, now that I think of it, he's a she because of her 2nd symbol which shows a girl with machine guns and LOADS of ammo, so yeah, he's a she. OK, THANKS FOR SCREAMING IN MY HEAD. Knock it off about my text being in all caps, please. Its back to normal so you can stop 'bashing' the all caps. Actually, you just changed the font. Also, yeah, ALL-CAPS IS RATHER ANNOYING. I ONLY USE IT WHEN TRYING TO EMPHASIZE SOMETHING. I may have changed the font, yes, but its back to normal. I also too use all caps for emphasizing something or trying to get my point across.
