  1. You're too kind, my friend. I've always been a fan of references and giving all parts of a franchise their due, and I'm glad it's being enjoyed. Alvis' works are right here on BZPower: End of the Brotherhood is here in Epics, while you can find Descendant and An Even Exchange in Short Stories. He's a masterful writer, and those works in particular are more than worthy of canonization. I did take some liberties with Greg's Red Star plot line-it seemed like a waste that most of the characters he listed as having been revived were ones who've had plenty of page time already. Don't worry, this story's getting finished barring the unforeseen-I'll be starting work on the next chapter before long. Hopefully it continues to impress-honestly the showdown between Voporak and Mata a Nui has me a tad intimidated. I will definitely look those up. In the meantime, I do hope you give Takanuva some more scenes. One of my biggest gripes about Bionicle Gen 1 was that after 2003, he sort of became barely relevant. 2008 gave him a little love, yes, but it was only a little. He was, after all, one of the earliest protagonists of the series, and then became so underrated after that. A scene where Takanuva fights alongside Mata Nui would be awesome... that is, if Mata Nui survives Voporak, anyhow (whom I always felt was one of the most overpowered characters of the series.) Also, I do hope you'll take this battle on a more "bloody" route where some of these numerous baddies go on a killing spree in this huge multi-level battle. (Not telling you what to write, BTW. That's just my wishful thinking, I've watched too many episodes of The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones.)
  2. Still on Destiny. Trying to acquire the Outbreak Prime and getting up to 400.
  3. Incredible! This epic is amazing! The scope of it all, it's like, massive on a Marvel Avengers level scale, going back to feature all these old familiar characters, picking up from those unfinished serial cliffhangers, making use out of all those unexplained 2002 Bionicle alternate builds, using Generation 2 names, references to other works (I must find these particular works you've referenced and give them a read!), and raising the dead... literally! I'm looking forward to more! Mata Nui vs. Voporak... that should be a most gripping matchup! You must finish this work!
  4. Dust Giants From the Destiny Soundtrack (2014) Composed by Martin O'Donnell, Michael Salvatori, & C. Paul Johnson
  5. I know that there is another LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Westchester, perhaps you ought to check there first. The new stuff has only still been seen at LEGOLAND Atlanta so far. Checked one TRU, Barnes & Noble, and a LEGO Store. Still naught. We were down there today, notta, nothing. Hmm... maybe LEGOLAND Atlanta's stocking/retail crew are just ahead of the game, I suppose...
  6. I know that there is another LEGOLAND Discovery Center in Westchester, perhaps you ought to check there first. The new stuff has only still been seen at LEGOLAND Atlanta in my neck of the woods so far. Checked one TRU, Barnes & Noble, and a LEGO Store. Still naught.
  7. They're supposed to be $15. I wonder if the LEGOLAND Discovery Center is only jacking up the prices because they're (currently) the only place that has them, or just because they're a high-traffic store that people are willing to spend more at. Kinda screwy either way, but if it's the former they might drop the price back once we hit January. Well if that's the case then personally I think it might be human error. I'll ask a friend of mine who works the gift shop to clarify.
  8. Where is your local TRU, Wazdakka? I must soon find out if it's at others. Also, a slight discrepancy I've noted: Are the smaller Uniters Lewa, Gali, and Pohatu supposed to be $20 or $15? Because for some reason at the LEGOLAND Center in Atlanta, they're listed at $20, which is also the same price that Tahu and Onua were being sold at.
  9. Checked one TRU and one of two Lego Stores in my area, turned up naught. Seems that only the LEGOLAND gift shop has new sets at the moment. Anyone else live near any other LEGOLAND park? There are two major resort parks in California and Florida, and at least six other Discovery Centers in Boston, Chicago, Dallas-Ft. Worth, Kansas City, Michigan, and Westchester, with another one in Arizona well on the way. I mean, is Atlanta seriously the only LEGOLAND site that has seen these new sets in store so far?
  10. Try checking a LEGOLAND park gift shop, be it Discovery Center or Resort, whichever one is closer to you. Their stores do not necessarily follow the same rules as LEGO Stores.
  11. Here are a few sightings: https://www.reddit.com/r/bioniclelego/comments/3xdnr2/lego_store_in_leeds_england_have_the_16_sets_in/ https://www.reddit.com/r/bioniclelego/comments/3xduhf/toys_r_us_st_catharines_has_most_bionicle_sets/ https://www.reddit.com/r/bioniclelego/comments/3x9l8c/bionicle_2016_in_stock_at_certain_toys_r_us/ https://www.reddit.com/r/bioniclelego/comments/3x6mge/sets_have_been_spotted_at_a_tru_in_canada/ https://www.reddit.com/r/bioniclelego/comments/3x6mge/sets_have_been_spotted_at_a_tru_in_canada/ Those are mostly from Canada, I think the only US sighting is from LEGOLAND, Atlanta. Yeah, as reported by me. But I also have an update on that. The Kopaka + Melum set has sold out for the moment at the LDC Atlanta (they'll have more of him later, I reckon), and on the shelves they put up more of the new BIONICLE sets. Just got Onua and Tahu this weekend alone. This weekend they also put up the new Star Wars ultrabuilds (from The Force Awakens) and just today the Nexo Knights went up. Here's a picture of the former (albeit terrible quality, I apologize for that):
  12. An update on what they now have at LEGOLAND Atlanta. The Kopaka + Melum set appears to be out of stock at the moment, but now there are MORE: Not all of the Toa Uniters, but for now they have Tahu, Gali, Pohatu, and one Onua left. Oh and of course Umarak. And they have all of the other Creatures.
  13. The Kopaka + Melum set is now available at the gift shop of the LEGOLAND Discovery Center Atlanta, just so you know.
