Is it safe to put rubber bionicle pieces in hot water to " unbend " it? If so could I do it in boiling water?

I've all of a sudden got an interest into Bionicle recently, and I have a lot of sets, but which is your favorite set? (Not counting the LEGO Bionicle " mini " sets). It has to be an official Bionicle set or any combiners.
