I got them in the the mail a few weeks ago the tridax is made from a transparent plastic not abs and is painted.
So I thought I found a source for the leeches awhile ago however I was unable to verify that the person was a lego designer or someone passing themselves as one.

Its a hard plastic that has a metal based liquid applied to it. By vacuum metalizing the hard plastic.

We had to go to a jewelry casting house to get our Hau casted in sterling silver. Online 3d printings would not take the mask because of the autograph on the back.

Hau Cast In Silver
These two classic Kanohi Hau are both cast in sterling silver. The twin masks where cast for a contest, two were cased in case of an error in the process. The top mask has revived a high polish and the lower mask is its original state. The sterling silver Hau has more weight then the official 14k gold Hau given away by Lego that has holes for a chain.
If you are curious a mask like this in other metals would cost;
Palladium: $2,019.42 ----- $1804.42 + $215 for processing/cleaning/polishing
Platinum: $2,328.96 ----- $2113.96 + $215 for processing/cleaning/polishing
14k Gold: $2,004.32 ----- $1789.32 + $215 for processing/cleaning/polishing

5k has to do with the fact that they are a collectibles selling business. An individual might beable to sell them cheaper.

Thats not what they plan to sell then for. I have made offers to buy a complete set of 8 at a discount with a payment plan. I physical inspected the items in 2020 because of question about origin of the pieces.
I am not sure how many of them are there and why there was that many in Europe because I believed them to be a USA item for some reason. I will say a complete set is around 5k.
