  1. Great job creating a streamlined, feminine design without any of the usual gags. What a great model!
  2. Never. I once did surveys for every set I purchased within the space of a year (about 40, that year) but still had no luck. I don't usually take the time to complete them anymore.
  3. Only playfully. Have you watched Journey To One yet?
  4. I'm not sure how I feel about JTO. Although they're aesthetically pleasing and do well at product placement (and advertising the play features) they're just lacking in quality. I think it is a mistake to fall into the trap of poor quality writing and story telling for a kids show. I loved Gen 1 so much growing up as a kid because I felt like the story was engaging and complex, and there was so much to explore and learn about. It's a shame there hasn't been quite as much effort in that department for the reboot.
  5. Crossing to Safety by Wallace Stegner. I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Simply beautiful.
  6. I stick a watermelon up your nose. Take that.
  7. Yes. Well...all the Bionicle ones at least. Do you like brown Bionicles?
  8. I've had that realization before- my collection is worth several thousand dollars, even in used condition. But for whatever reason (I love them <3) I could never sell them. I want my children to share my joy!
  9. Until last month, of my sets (2004-2008) were torn apart and in one massive plastic bucket. I've now sorted all of the pieces by color and recreated most of the larger vehicle sets. With my Gen 2 sets, they are also torn apart in a separate bucket. I can't decide whether or not I'll integrate them into my old collection.
  10. A bearded MOC- that's honestly a dream come true for me. Excellent execution with that!
  11. The only frustration I have is when the silver blend doesn't match the rest of the model, ie. Onua and Tahu. Especially Tahu- the silver throws off the rest of the color scheme. I think it looks excellent on Gali and Lewa and Kopaka, however. All of the gold/trans masks are lovely.
  12. Nope. I'm a Lego loyalist. Have you gone to or participated in any Lego conventions?
