Toa Pilak Evolved

Its a Bionicle-Teen Titans epic...it was an idea that I got while babysitting for my mother's friend while watching Teen Titans with him.

Since I'm stuck on this particular part of my epic series...I'm hoping to ask for anyone's opinion concerning this excerpt since I'm kinda stuck at this point This is also the epic where Pilak's adventures continue.

Today my blue swivel chair, the one which I sit in to work on my computer, has broke along the metal beam that supports the back support. Yes it was a sad day, it was a cheap chair from Carrefour true but it was good chair. Today shall be called Swivel Chair Memorial Day... Ok that means that I seriously need two critical things... 1)Is a new chair to call my own and... 2)Some sanity which has flown out of the window as I write this for some reason. Please note that I live on the 21st Storey of a Housing Development Board Flat(HDB for our abbreviation-addicted locals) hence if my sanity flew out of the window it would be quite hard to recover. Anyway I also went ahead today and on a whim bought one of those 1/144 scale Gundam Plastic kits, the ones that involving cutting parts out of a frame and snapping the pieces together. Yeah I'm also a mecha fan and an otaku so there goes any chances of having an ordinary life Yeah I like the technical designs of the mecha and the suit's concepts are great and all but...nobody seems to care about the grunt machines. I mean, several hundred get blown up every other episode when a nobody is in the cockpit and when the main character steps into the cockpit, it instantly becomes invincible. Talk about Deus Ex Machina for the lucky robot. As to my epics, I'm still working on the .hack epic (hoping to end it eventually on a good note) while I'm juggling several concepts I'm hoping to incorporate into the Pilak Chronicles Epic series. Also back to real life for a while...I got the results of my JAE (Joint Admissions Exercise) for a while and it turns out I'm clear for an Aerospace Avionics course in Republic Polytechnic on the other side of the island. [sarcasm]Oh joy, travelling almost 2 hours to get there on time[/sarcasm], however this allows me the option of approaching the Air Force for a sponsorship. This would allow me a job in the Air Force along with other privilieges like a $1000 salary and a $1200 bonus for passing the semester...all this assuming they accept the registration to sign up, oh the joys of selling my soul to the military. So to end it off on a random note...here is the new King of Fighters

I believe such a course would take you into the Advertising industry since it invloves Creative Media. Essentially, its more to do with the design aspects of an advert if I'm right.

Ok today's been another boring day (so have been the last few, the reason why I didn't post anything) but today I think I have something half-decent to write about. Ok I undertsand that the lack of any other races in the Bionicle, despite the apperances of a few members of those species, is due to legal issues and primarily the hassle of having to go through every legal check to ensure any terms or names wouldn't spark another lawsuit. Also the lack of names of everything other than those crucial to the storyline remaining nameless but wouldn't it be ineteresting if we do have more knowledge of the other races within the Bionicle? Also it would be nice if Greg would eventually come out with a full encyclopedia of Bionicle races...that is if they ever got around to naming everything.

Drexer: Well it is fairly easy to figure the holidays in Singapore since it corresponds to our school terms. Our school term lasts about three months each hence we have two one week holidays and two one month holidays., All this is not counting any public holidays we have in-between. Hm I can understand your sentiments perfectly since, assuming I am guessing this right, the usage of guests introduce a certain aspect of interactivity though however limited and improves the relationship between the author and reviewer. Yep, I have seen once or twice before and it has produced some results (however obscured they may be) but then such good topics have been decline along with such enjoyable underdog epics. Shioi: Well there is, during December but that is the time when heavy thunderstorms are frequent And that major exam would be the GCE O-level examination which is dubbed the largest turning point in any students education and as some would have guessed there is a similar variant in Britain which is also marked by Cambridge. Yes it is a great honour to have your paper marked by some old guys sitting in a musty and possibly dusty room marking their years away. Little Miss Krahka: It sure is depressing having to resort to posting the 'ole 'Nothing Happened today post' just to have something to post on a blog. Ok, I have finally found time to actually continue writing Chapter 9 of .hack//bzpower so expect it sometime by the end of this week. In other news I'll be visiting my local library just for the heck of it (yep, my holiday is getting increasing boring) and as for yesterday, nothing very noteworthy happened so hence I skipped it yesterday.

Yep, this is another one of those uneventful days watching TV, going back to school for extra lessons and other boring whatnot. So does anyone else have these kind of days? Boring and generally very dull.

Well I suppose it was awfully difficult, what with juggling family and that once in a lifetime opportunity to have that dream job you have always wanted...

Great, just great, my entire month long holiday is going to be eaten up by just studying for a major exam at the end of the end. So that means I will have to scrap that beach holiday I was planning on going to for a while. Also this means that I won't be able to write anything for .hack//bzpower for a while (correction, a very long while). Apologies to the few loyal readers I've had for this project but it has to be suspended yet again.

My my, so thats what happens when you guys validate accounts. Isn't that fascinating...

Yep, this is called the 2nd post partly because right now I don't feel like thinking up any fancy-smancy titles. So as I am writing this; I am also trying to rush up on Chapter 9 of .hack//bzpower, download Bleach episode 81 (no, not the cleaning solution) and debating certain epic idea within my mind. Personally, does a guest in a BZPower based epic really add value to the epic? True that it does allow a member to feel included but essentially the guest isn't the one who decides his own course but the author of the story (or co-author in certain situations)? Mind if anyone can give me their opinions on this guest star dilemma? As I ramble on, the rain keeps on pattering and this brings up another subject for me to ramble on about. The epic forums here on BZPower is a whole sub-culture on to itself with its own set of heroes and villains as well as a whole plethora of fanfics. These fanfics have wide-ranging subjects however though it is usually the famous ones that usually get any reviews at all and even then it can be more or less be considered spam or just mindless chit-chat. Whereas the rest of the good epics are usually just ignored simply out of pure laziness. So another thought for you guys to discuss amongst yourselves. Criticise me or whatever but these are my thoughts on the Library forums, or to be more specific, the Epic forum.

Yep its my 1st entry on the spiffy new BZPower Blog. Whoop-dee-doo. Yep so essentially I will just be posting random things as frequently as possible and hopefully they will be frequent as I can manage, what with a major exam just a few months away. Now, in Singapore we have two major semester holidays. Namely what we call the June Holidays and the December Holidays (in most cases, the Decmeber holidays last for two months but for me and many other students my age in Singapore, its only 1 month. Reason being is that we have the O-levels in November) but our June holidays have remedial lessons. Yep remedial lessons are a bore but I have no choice but to attend them Anway that means my epic will not be updated so frequently as well. Yep I'm out right advertising my epic here but you can always find the link in my sig on the forums if you want to read it so badly. Its the one called .hack//bzpower. So this ends my (rather short) first entry. So TPE signing out for now.
