  1. So I've been keeping track of my BIONICLE collectible progress via a post on a particular blogging site and, while it's been very effective so far, I'd like to also keep track of it here. I've been using older checklists for my Kanohi and Kanoka while utilizing my nice, newer checklists for Krana and Kraata. Last Update: August 8, 2014
  2. Looks like I'm a Matoran of Light. That's pretty cool.
  3. The part of the checklist that has me stuck specifically is, as you can tell from the Kraata and Krana checklists, I'm going for a fully digital checklist. That is to say, frontal pixel artwork of each Kanohi that's been produced. And that's the tough part. All in all, I'm thinking about other methods. I just might switch to using your Kanohi checklist for the time being, though.
  4. Why yes, yes it was. I uh I what
  5. The Kanohi checklist that I'm currently using was not created by me; only the Krana and Kraata checklists were. I am, however, currently working on a Kanohi checklist that encompasses every Kanohi from the beginning to the end. It's really tedious, though. :\
  6. Would you be able to take a photograph of the tops of the Kraata? I would like to be able to tell which levels they are so that I know which ones I need. However, if you're unable to do that, here's a Kraata level chart for you: Other than the Kraata, the following items are of interest to me: Kanohi & Kanohi Nuva Trans. Clear w/ Glitter AvohkiiBlack Akaku Nuva Krana Purple CaPurple BoOrange ZaOrange BoI hope to hear back from you soon.
  7. I wish I was better at shading and stuff in binary, cause I'm working on the binary versions of Kanohi masks for the Checklist I'm working on and Hopefully I can try to shade these without screwing them up that much.
  8. His checklists are right here. I like mine better because I think mine are more aesthetically pleasing and have an air of cleanliness about them, but you can compare them yourself with your own discretion.
  9. It's nice to see you around too, Ballom. I don't think that the aim of The C.I.R.C.L.E. was ever to write joint stories together in the sense of a single, unified epic in which different authors write different chapters. The idea was to create our own joint universe where a member could reference another member's work to provide a deeper consistency and knit ourselves together as writers. I think that the polling process was flawed in the sense that more story-changing proposals were on the same level as a very minor, obscure proposal. As in, the canonization of an entirely new Matoran/Toa/Turaga element was on par with the naming of a random Kanohi. I guess that the only way that a proposal had any sense of weight was due to the fact that higher-ranked members had a more meaningful ballot. It helped in some ways and, while everyone in the group was a good author, not everyone could put proposals under the scrutiny of their knowledge of the BIONICLE universe and therefore, not that many valid arguments were made against proposals until after they were canonized. As they say, hindsight is 20/20. Throughout the entire lifespan of The C.I.R.C.L.E., I honestly can't think of a single instance where Toa_Ausar went back on his word. He was very consistent and legalistic in the way that he headed things, and I think that the structure really boded well for the group as a whole. I know that I myself never had the time to read through every member's stories and review them. I think that the expectation to do just that was heaped onto his shoulders. If memory serves, however, I do remember chats on Y!M with him where he would discuss fanfic with me as he was reading it. The C.I.R.C.L.E. Wikia, while not terribly aesthetically pleasing to the eye anymore, was pretty well fleshed-out. We had so much content added, and I'm very proud of the work that went into it. Again, Toa_Ausar had the responsibility of fleshing out the majority of the Wikia on his own. Toa_Ausar, Koji, and I were the ones who put in the most work on the Wikia. Toa_Ausar would flesh out practically all lore content, and I would design the Templates and NavBars and a lot of the technical stuff. I don't remember what all Koji did. Toa_Ausar didn't vanish in the sense that he just stopped showing up. BIONICLE ended almost 5 years ago, and following the cancellation's footsteps was BZPower's Great Dataclysm. We were without any references, and the ability to do any work on the Wikia was severely hindered as a repercussion. I know that we churned out as much Wikia work as we could, but eventually the flame of interest just kinda... faded out? It did for me, anyway. I still talk to him pretty frequently; we exchange Star Wars talk pretty often, and I throw some miscellaneous LEGO/BIONICLE links at him from time to time. I don't really think he has the interest in BIONICLE that he once had, but I know that Toa_Ausar really enjoys what he's doing now, which is good enough for me.
  10. Just something I've been thinking about, really. I'd really love to see a clean slate collaborative group rising from the ashes of the old group. We've learned so much, and I think that a new group of writers would flourish.
  11. Whaaaaat? Why doesn't G2gfast wear a Kakama like in the earlier concept art? So sad, too.
  12. I'm totally in on this. It's a fantastic movie, and I really want a physical copy of it.
  13. He doesn't seem to have any desire to part with it, no. When I next have the opportunity to chat with him, I'll see if I can convince him to create a BZP account.
  14. So I think that the definition of serendipity happened to me yesterday. I was talking in my clan chat on RuneScape as usual. Oddly enough, a lot of us in the clan are either current or former BIONICLE fans. It's really quite funny, considering that the clan is centered around RuneScape lore. During a conversation, I brought up my BIONICLE Collection. A few have been asking me to post picture of my collection as well as my checklists on the forums. Which, eventually I did. But the most surprising thing happened. A clan mate chimed in, "I don't really have any more BIONICLE cause I gave them to my sibling. The only thing I really have left is a gold mask that I won from a contest at LEGOLand." Which, of course, hearing that made my ears perk up. Obviously, I questioned him about it and asked if he could post pictures of the Kanohi on the forums. Which, he did. These are the images that he provided. He wanted to know if there was a process that he should follow-through to get the Kanohi validated as legitimate, especially after I told him the prospective worth of the 14K Gold Hau. But overall, the best part about this is that realizing how rare this mask is made him realize just how lucky he was when he got it. I think that was the best part of being able to tell him "You have 1 of 30 of these Kanohi. This is the second most valuable BIONICLE collectible in existence."
  15. Oh my god this is the best thing. It makes me wish that most of my BIONICLE wasn't in storage, or else I'd be making a MOC for this contest. On that day, BZPower recieved a grim reminder... We lived in fear of Hapori Tohu...
  16. Thanks for all the feedback so far! I've been working on the Kanohi checklist for the past few weeks between work days, and I should have it up publicly soon.
  17. So now we know the full extent of the powers of a Rogue of Void. :U To be honest, I always thought that her powers would end up being something like that. But the fact that she's gonna be using them to produce a Matriorb? Dang, gurl. I feel like the abilities are a little OP though in terms of what she's able to do; she's basically able to self-alchemize anything she wants without having to pay Grist. Which.. is okay in some regards? But it's like... she can produce basically anything now if she wants to. But whatever. I'm more curious to see what the difference is between a Rogue of Void and a Thief of Void. If a Rogue can conjure objects from thin air, can a Thief of Void steal items by sending them to the Void?
  18. I'll check through my stuff to see if I have anything you need. In the meantime, what's the ETA on images of your Haves?
  19. Those images are very out of date, so I think you had better send me a list. I have absolutely no kraata left, somebody came and bought them all off me a while back. I still have a few green and blue kanohi nuva and a few krana/krana-kal though. I also have an extra red hau mata, a silver hau mata, a red mask of strangth, and a silver and gold mask of speed for pohatu mata. That's about it though. Ahhh darn. Well, my Kanohi Wants can be found here, and my Krana/Krana-Kal Wants can be found here. The unfilled white circles are the ones I need.
  20. So a while back, I started working on some newer versions of the checklists that were created for all of the BIONICLE collectibles that we've seen so far. The main gripe that I had with the older variants was that they were saved as .jpg, which meant that the quality was reduced significantly, and it made it difficult do do one-click bubble filling with the bucket tool. My first thought was to just redo the fill circles so that you could do one-click filling, but the idea stuck to me to completely overhaul them for those who like nice, clean files. I first began work on a Kraata checklist, which I posted here in the Art Topic a few months ago. Sadly, the Topic was lost, as it was posted within the timeframe of data that we ended up rolling back on the forums. So I figured that making the Krana/Krana-Kal Checklist and reposting a new Topic including both checklists would be a good idea, with the goal of posting a new Kanohi and Kanoka checklist in the meantime. So here we are, the first two checklists: Krana / Krana-Kal Checklist 100% Size | 45% Size Wild Kraata Checklist 100% Size | 40% Size Like I said earlier; you can expect a Kanohi and Kanoka checklist soon. The Kanohi checklist is currently in the WIP stage, and the Kanoka Checklist will follow shortly on its heels when it's complete! I personally use the checklists scaled down to 40% / 45% because they're smaller and easier to handle, but the hi-res versions at 100% are here in case any of you feel daring enough to work with such large files. As always, any kind of feedback is welcome. I'd like to know what the community would like to see in terms of interactability, such as importing the checklists to Flash or HTML5 to allow for easier tracking and updating of the lists ((I have a long-term goal of porting them to HTML5 eventually, but I need to get the mechanics of the markup down before I could even begin coding in it )). Thanks a bunch guys, and I hope to see a lot of people using these!
  21. How up-to-date are the images in your Brickshelf of your Kanohi/Krana/Kraata? If they're current, I can tell you which ones I need easily. If not, I can send you my Checklists of what I need from each group and have you tell me which ones you have.
