It's just that the whole thing is phrased as a correction and meant to teach a lesson, when I can't really see any reason anyone will listen when you say "Your RPG title is wrong and here is why."

Well, if you did it in your spare time, that just makes even less sense. Why make your notes fancy? It serves no purpose at all. And notes can be as scribbly and disorganized as they need to be. All that matters is that the person who writes them understands them. That's all.

It just seems like a whole lot of effort spent over nothing. And I read your entire entry and posted a comment because I was reading your blog. That's what people do when they read blogs. They read entries and post comments. Do you have a pet peeve against people reading your blog?

Question. Why do you care?

Your preference for longwindedness nonwithstanding, there is no reason whatsoever to take notes like this. It's slow to write, doesn't get to the point, and uses phrases like "put simply" that sound nice, but have no function, and only serve to distract you while your teacher talks.

I disagree. Notes can be as disjointed and as incomprehensible as you like, because they only matter to one person, and that is you. Make them as pretty as you like, but all you're left with is wasted effort. All notes ever do is relay information to you. Spend all the time you like making your notes look like an essay, but it's all futile, because you're the only one impressed by them. Intellectually, you're just playing with yourself. Spend all that wasted note essay time on something worth your time. Like, I don't know, an ACTUAL essay. Although, to be fair, your notes aren't like an essay at all. They're just unnecessarily wordy and don't get to the point of their own existence.

A gay Toa...? Well, I'm certainly interested in seeing how this turns out. And mostly how you feel you can keep a new fight against the Zyglak from feeling like just another generic story. But seriously, though. Gay Toa...?
