Okay, this week is going to be special. Since we have so many fighters, this really should come to an end. A short time ago I made a list of every potential fighter I wanted to include, so now I'm going to post the entire list, and you guys can say which ones you actually want--no 2 vote limit, name as many as you want. I haven't decided yet whether I'll just add all those fighters at the end of the week, or take the fighters you've asked for and use them in next week's voting, but I'll get that sorted out when I can.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the tournament! It was loads of fun!

Now that you've had time to see what the Coliseum is like both in normal gameplay and tournament mode, I want to get some feedback. What do you like about the game? What could be improved? Suggestions on anything else?

I want to improve the Coliseum as much as possible, so please, give me some feedback!

    Current Suggestions:
Accepted-Specific arenas that sponsors can choose to fight in
    Accepted-Adding new fighters
    Accepted-2-on-2 matches
-Upgrade stats of unsponsored fighters when sponsored fighters become too powerful
    Accepted-Add tournament dates to calendar

Technically I revealed it the other day, but meh. Bioni-Lords: Story of the Violet Rose and Bioni-Lords: Story of the Honored Soul take place in the alternate dimensions featured in the cancelled VioletRose/HonoredSoul game, and since the two dimensions are intertwined, the stories will be as well. However, these stories will be short--maybe around ten chapters each--so I want to be sure to put as much in these chapters as I can. Also...is it against the rules for two epics to share a review topic? Because I was just thinking, since they're intertwining...
Currently, I plan on each story having only one protagonist--the 18 year old, mean-hearted Rose and the 15 year old, borderline know-it-all Soul. These two young women will be shown travelling from city to city in their respective universes and defeating the Element-Lords, while also interacting with each other throgh the Olmak Breach, a hole between the dimensions, and dealing with some dark forces. More details will be revealed as I make them up.
But I do have some guest star slots: the Element-Lords. But keep in mind that these Element-Lords will get nowhere near as much screentime as in the Books, and their roster of Spirits will have to be limited to what they use in their battles with the main characters unless I contact you and ask for more. If you want to design an Element-Lord, please respond to this blog post and say which Element-Lord you want--should help everyone to keep track of what Elements are taken. Also, I will allow you to list another Element-Lord you want to design, BUT if someone else wants your second choice as their first choice, you will have to pick a new one. Plus, I call Dragon-Lord.
EDIT: Also, Fire and Ice are reserved
ANOTHER EDIT: You know what, I'll just list the taken and available Elements.

Taken Elements: Fire, Earth, Ice, Air, Water, Light Shadow, Psionics, Rahaga, Steel, Thunder,Dragon

    Available Elements: Stone, Jungle

There's been a lot of Pokemon Black and White 2 info this past week...but, I'm going to leave you on your own for that. It's being released in Japan this time next week, so finding info should become pretty easy.

Also, will try to get a Kako chapter typed today. Pokemon Conquest is being released Monday, so...I might be MIA.

    Korra thoughts, DEFINITELY contain spoilers:
-Again: Thank God I don't live near any hardcore Makorra fans.
-So I guess bloodbending without a full moon is just a genetic quirk or something...? I doubt we'll ever get a proper explanation.
-Is this really the time for petty relationship squabbles...? Come on, Asami. Priorities.
-Of course Tenzin's the only councilman who escaped. The other three never have anything to contribute!
-Well, there goes the Batmobile. I miss it already.
-Even child airbenders are overpowered! Just goes to show how overpowered the element is. Not that I'm complaining.
-Of course the baby is born at an inconvenient time...
-I believe there are a few scenes in this episode that call for a quote. Ahem...YOU SHALL NOT PASS!
    -What...? No...not Lin!! WHY?! *sobbing*
-A new General Iroh? Awesome! And he even has Zuko's voice...! So I'm guessing he's Zuko's son, then? *looks it up* Hm, can't confirm it...
-The season finale is next week...I do love this show, but I gotta say, it moves kinda quickly.

A thing I saw on social media prompted this and I thought I’d just throw it up to see what happens. Asking random questions is a popular thing here in the blogs, yes?

Suppose you’re leading a makeshift Toa team, and you can choose the main character of up to five things (TV show, movie, book, anime, game, whatever). What does your team look like? Bonus points if you can work out actual team dynamics or even Kaita.

The only catch is you’re not allowed to choose Goku/DBZ.

    Deliberate.

I'm starting to get an idea together, but I want to run it by you guys first. Take a look:

    -Titled "Technic Warzone"
-Fighters have a stat total of 12 by default. The sponsor can allocate another 8 when they start sponsoring. (Thank you, Pulsating Explosive!)
    -Trainers will be removed altogether.
-Stat boost items will have explicit fixed values. (1 for most, 3 for “large boost”) The Golden Kanohi and Staff of Mind Reading will be removed.
-Champions still get a free item. The reigning Champion for each season will be given an extra stat point that the sponsor can give to whichever stat they choose, but this stat point will go away when the next tournament comes around.
-Upgrades provide abilities, but no stat boost. They will also be reduced in price to 20,000 W.
-Players now begin with 25,000 W. I am also introducing a Widget limit of 75,000 W.
-Player list will be put in a blog post with Widget counts, items, and the fighters they sponsor
-A new item or upgrade will be introduced that will allow the sponsor to redistribute the 8 bonus stat points.
-Play will be divided into three types: regular Coliseum play, which will be mostly the same; Tournament play, which will be pretty similar to how it is now (no stat redistribution, since we have the new stat system should fix that, but we will have an item limit); and a new type...
-Warzone: A brutal game of chance that resets every Friday. Players will state that they wish for their fighter to attack another fighter (be specific), and I’ll roll a die. If you get a 1, your target dies and is eliminated from this week’s Warzone; anything else, they live. When your fighter dies (or when the Warzone is reset at the end of the week), you receive 5,000 W for every fighter you successfully eliminated. Even if you’re inactive, your fighter will still be an eligible target! (If you know ahead of time that you will be inactive for an extended period of time, please inform me and I will grant your fighter Warzone immunity for the requested amount of time.)
-There may be some items to affect Warzone play, still working on it. Also, if you sponsor multiple fighters, you will only be able to target one fighter at a time, and you will receive fewer Widgets per kill (since you are essentially surviving multiple hits).

    Any thoughts?

I like to join in popular trends sometimes

So feel free to ask me questions if you want

That also applies to after this entry falls onto that mythical second page no one’s ever read, feel free to ask me weird stuff using whatever channels you like, I can make myself approachable probably

But don’t ask me to choose between things because I’m super indecisive okay

As usual, I have video game news to report that may or may not concern anyone else.
I believe I previously mentioned Pokemon+Nobunaga's Ambition, the strategy game with Pokemon in feudal Japan? Well they're officially bringing it to America as "Pokemon Conqeust" in mid-June. So far it looks like they're leaving the names of the Japanese historical figures alone! *energetic fist pump*
Oh, and the handheld Final Fantasy DDR is coming on July 3rd, and Kingdom Hearts 3D (!!!) is coming here July 31st.
...It's really difficult to avoid spoilers when you've been consuming any and all Kingdom Hearts news for months on end...

Now for BZP-related stuff. Forgotten Bond's final duel is next Tuesday! Also, if you've read Chapter 28, you know about Tahu's new fusion form, Technic Tahu. Well, I did make a MoC of it (ZMoC-10)...but it turned out, ah...less-than-epic. If you still want to check it out, though, here's the gallery.

I've been putting some thought into the story about Khadaz and Amy's wedding (thinking of calling it Eternal Fusion...), and after doing all the math, it turns out they're the last couple in their group to get married. Weird how things turn out...anyway, it'll take place fourteen years before Sekai, in 1307 A.B.L., probably sometime in April/May. I've decided on location, maid of honor, best man, minister, and some traditions for Bioni-Lord weddings and Ga-Isle weddings specifically, including the fact that they won't be using rings. On Ga-Isle, it's traditional to kill a Water Shark (one of the Elemental Animals I need to release more info on...like the Ice Wolves) and put one of its teeth on a necklace, with the first initial of the person you are proposing to carved on it in Matoran (so a Matoran 'A' for when Khadaz proposes to Amy). Then, once the couple is married, they each get a necklace with three Water Shark teeth carved with more Matoran letters: their first initial, the first initial of the person they married, and the first initial of their surname (so Khadaz's necklace has 'K', 'A', and 'I', and Amy's has 'A', 'K', and 'I'). Of course, due to conservation efforts, people aren't allowed to actually kill Water Sharks anymore and need to buy their necklaces at jewelry stores. And yes, this idea was inspired by Avatar: The Last Airbender.
After deciding this I began to put some thought into what wedding tokens would be employed on the other islands and the Mainland...haven't decided on too many yet. Ta-Isle uses rings, but they have Lava Gems instead of diamonds; Le-Isle uses Air Eagle feathers tucked behind opposing ears (as either an earring or part of a headband); and Av-Isle carves rings out of Lightstones. As for Healer-Isle, I was thinking of turning that over to Keizah...
Anyway, the original idea was to just write up the ceremony, but now I'm thinking I might want to do more, primarily to explain some of the traditions before or after the wedding so that I don't constantly have someone in the audience explaining things as they're happening. I was thinking a chapter of preparations, a chapter for the ceremony, and then a chapter for the reception...but I wouldn't know what Forum to put it in--it's not quite Epic, but it's too serious to be a Comedy...could serialize here in the blog, I suppose. Either that, or just put it all in one Short Story.

*shrug* Well, I'm going to keep working on the wedding story and give you guys updates as I work. And don't worry about VRHS--I promise I'll have it ready in early June!

So it's been announced that ORAS will have a new story thing called "The Delta Episode". A meteor is on course to collide with the planet, so the protagonist has to stop it.

It seems their method of doing so involves putting on a space suit, riding Rayquaza as it Mega Evolves and shoots into the upper atmosphere, and battling Deoxys.

You get to ride Mega Rayquaza into space to fight Deoxys.

    I...I just have no words...

    Someone disagrees with the Piraka
    No No Piraka

    Green light
    Go Go Piraka

Someone asks the Piraka how they’re doing today
    So-So Piraka

You see a Piraka set on clearance
    Low Low Piraka

The Piraka get in a boat
    Row Row Piraka

    It’s winter
    Snow Snow Piraka

“Hey we need a gimmick for these villains’ skull pieces”
    Glow Glow Piraka

You need to do lawn work to raise money for Bionicle sets
    Mow Mow Piraka

You laugh condescendingly at the Piraka
    Ho-Ho! Piraka!
  10. Pahrak Model ZX
You know, I really enjoyed making my dramatic reading of the Piraka Rap.

Logically this should be followed by a dramatic reading of Creeping in My Soul, but...Creeping in My Soul kind of already sounds like a dramatic reading, so I don't know if my version would really sound all that different.

    2007 was terrible.

I don't know what do y'all say, yea or nay?

-As mentioned previously, the Inika Charge has been dropped and the Hordika Venom has been edited. I also said more Kanohi will be made available in Nuva! Specifically, we’ll be making the Suletu, Kadin, Mask of Emulation, and Crast upgrade-friendly. The Calix and Felnas are going to stay the way they are, for now at least.

-Also, I decided to go with Canis’s idea for making Rahkshi Staffs compatible with Antidermis Infusion. In addition to buying the staff, you will need to pay 3,000 W to make it Infusion-compatible, which will change its designation in your inventory to “Staff of ___-C”.

-One last upgrade: the Shadow Leech Partial Drain! It may cost 30,000 W, but with this upgrade your fighter will gain Shadow powers in addition to their current Element! It wears off after 10 battles, though, and there are some restrictions involving this and the Elemental Rahkshi Staffs.

-Wraith suggested an item to let the Glatorian fly, so here it is: the Imported Jetpack! 7,000 W, as you would expect.

-Credit to Canis, the Nui Stone will be available for any fighter to purchase! When used by a non-upgraded fighter fighting an upgraded fighter, it targets the stats they have an edge in and splits the difference like a Suletu! Not super sure about the price, but right now I’m thinking 20,000 W.

-Another awesome but impractical item: the Golden Kanohi! If you can shell out 80,000 W and obey the restrictions, you can use this item to have access to the powers of every Kanohi you own at once! And yes, it breaks after one use. Not planning to make this one available in Nuva.

-You’ve been asking for it, so here it is: the Adaptive Armor! But this isn’t an upgrade—no, this is an item that any fighter can buy! This armor will cost 30,000 W, and protects the wearer from any and all stat reductions, plus effects such as blindness, illusions, poison, and whatnot.

-Last but not least, the Golden Armor, also available for any fighter to buy! This one costs 10,000 W, and when brought into battle it prevents any and all Rahkshi Staffs from being used in the match. Great for going up against an opponent who loves their Rahkshi Staffs! It cannot, however, be used to cancel out the Staff power being used by a fighter with an Antidermis Infusion.

Well, that’s everything I had planned. Feel free to keep submitting item ideas, though!
  12. Pahrak Model ZX
You know, I think it’s time I changed my display name.

(This has absolutely nothing to do with the final story update of KHX and the Ursus Foreteller being unbelievably brutal. Nope. Not that at all.)

I’m not sure what to go with, though. There are the old ones I’ve been sitting on for a while:
    -Stained Glass Pahrak
    -Pahrak III.7 HD ReNAME
    -Sinnoh Slizer
    -Professor O’Pahrak

Though, if I wanted to go with something matching my current avatar, maybe:
    -Pearl Pahrak
    -Pearlrak
    -Bird Mom Pahrak

    Hm, it’s a tough one.
  13. Pahrak Model ZX
    There's a Sword Pokemon!!

A Steel/Ghost, possessed sword that you can catch and train and send into battle to cut down your enemies!

How are we supposed to be patient for another three months when we know there's going to be a sword Pokemon?!
  14. Pahrak Model ZX
    For no reason whatsoever.

-Gen I: It's a difficult choice between Charmander and Bulbasaur, but as cool as Charizard is, I just really, really like Venusaur. I even defeated a Charizard with a Venusaur once, back when I was playing LeafGreen. Anyway, plant dino is best.
-Gen II: Cyndaquil. Without any doubt, it's Cyndaquil. My early days with Pokemon were a little weird, and to be honest I don't remember a whole lot of what I did before Diamond, but I clearly remember Blaze, the Cyndaquil I chose in Gold version who grew into a fearsome Typhlosion that wrecked everything. Not being able to transfer Pokemon from Generation II to III means that Blaze was lost, but all Cyndaquils since have been named in his honor.
-Gen III: Honestly they're all pretty equal. I can remember Blaziken showing up in the anime when Gen II wasn't quite over, so it left an impression on me. I legitimately enjoy the Mudkip meme and my OR Mega Swampert is super-cool. And then there's my AS Mega Sceptile, the sassy vampire lizard plant wielding the legendary Leaf Blade. I can't choose between them.
-Gen IV: I absolutely love my Platinum Infernape--his team was the first of mine to reach Level 100 without cheating Rare Candies. But, I chose Turtwig in Diamond, and Diamond is a game that still means so much to me since it was what brought me back into Pokemon after my interest faded in Generation III. Sprout the Torterra carries a lot of great memories with him, so Turtwig will always be my favorite. Again, plant dino is best.
-Gen V: Now, this is also pretty close. Really, really close. Because I love Oshawott--it was my starter in the first Gen V game I played, and the samurai unicorn it eventually evolves into is so ridiculous I love it. But, the two Serperior I've used were, well...sort of better. So, it's very close, but I'm giving this one to Snivy.
-Gen VI: Froakie, duh. It just looks better than its competitors at every stage, and then of course there's Smash Bros. Even before that, though, training Gali the Greninja in Y made it clear to me that I had made the best choice, and I maintain that after using the other two in my X playthroughs.

So, favorite Water starter is Froakie, favorite Fire starter is Cyndaquil, and I'm going to give favorite Grass starter to Turtwig. If a game made me pick between those three to start, now that would be a tough choice...

And while I'm at it, best legendary is Dialga. (But you probably saw that one coming.)

(Oh, by the way, Sceptile was announced for Pokken Tournament and Volcanion has been officially revealed. While we're on the subject.)
  15. Pahrak Model ZX
Technic Tournament 2: This Time It’s Personal! will open Thursday, November 12th!

The reroll rule has been implemented, and I’ve also added an option for ending rounds early if all players can agree to do so. Last game it seemed players usually got their work done over the first few days of the round and the rest of the week we were dead, so I figured it might be best to have an option to speed up play. This won’t be available until round 2—again, players can join any time, but it gets harder and harder to catch up, so I at least want round 1 open for the full week.

I've also decided that all Technic Tournament sequels will use bad sequel names rather than anything descriptive, because it's more fun that way.
  16. Pahrak Model ZX
-Mega Man Star Force, or a sequel series

    -The World Ends With You

    -Interesting episodes/chapters of Bleach

    -Danny Phantom

-Older Pokemon in the form of more Mega Evolutions. We do not have enough.

    -Slizers

    -RoboRiders

-Final Fantasy V, preferably in remake form

-Simplicity in life, no responsibilities, free time to actually play with Bionicle, and the like

    -GALIDOR

If I don't get all these things then I will be very disappointed I mean if we're opening the portal to the past we need to make the most of it.
  17. Pahrak Model ZX
After a lengthy side-quest to get the Vampire asterisk, I restored the Earth Crystal and stuff went down. I won't spoil anything. I do, however, want to go on record as saying that I was right about who wrote D's Journal!

...It's actually really, really obvious when you read the Enigmatic Writings so I don't deserve that much credit.

It really is a lot easier to get JP now. I've even managed to master a few Jobs! Also, I was able to hunt down all the Genomes for Vampire, so I think I'm in pretty good shape going forward. I'm near the end of Chapter 5, and I can only imagine what waits beyond that, since things are already so...drat, anything I say will be a spoiler at this point...

Anywho. Whole party is at Lv 62. Tiz has mastered Performer; Agnes has mastered White Mage and Spiritmaster; and Edea has mastered Spell Fencer. No Jobs mastered for Ringabel yet, though he is close on Black Mage (Lv 12) since I want to cast Level 6 Black Magic, as well as Vampire (Lv 13) since I used him as my main Genome gatherer. The complete Job histories are way too long to list now, so I'll just leave it at that.

    Current set-up:
-Tiz as Summoner Lv 11 with Singing
-Agnes as Salve-Maker Lv 11 with White Magic
-Ringabel as Black Mage Lv 12 with Vampirism
-Edea as Templar Lv 11 with Sword Magic

All of which will see frequent change as I move forward. I know I'm going to be getting some more JP for Edea's Dark Knight job soon, at least; everything else is sort of up for grabs.

I was going to go with “Pahrak Master of Tournaments” but character limit ugh

So my main ideas now are:
    -Stained Glass Pahrak
    -Pahrak III.7 HD ReNAME
    -Galactic Commander Pahrak
    -Sinnoh Slizer

It’s a tough decision. Though since I’m now Pahrak the Sinnoh Slizer on another website I’d probably be better able to put that one aside to try out other ones for BZP here…
  19. Pahrak Model ZX
(I know it's super-early but some stuff happened and today might get out of hand so I'm getting this up while I can)

It’s time to decide who’s going to represent in the next Technic Tournament, and that decision will be made by you! Please feel free to vote even if you haven’t played the previous Tournaments, and please don’t feel like voting means you have to play Tournament 3—the more votes the better! We’ll have eight lines with 2 fighters each, so there are several stages to this process.

First, Bionicle G1. This will be broken up into a hero poll and a villain poll. For the hero poll, you can vote for any one Toa (in their original form only this time) or Glatorian, excluding Tahu, Takanuva, and Mata Nui. For the villain poll, you can vote for any one of the following: Nidhiki, Krekka, any Piraka, Nektann, Brutaka, any Barraki (excluding Pridak), Nocturn, a Skrall, Stronius, or Tuma.

    Nominated G1 Heroes Kopaka (1)

    Nominated G1 Villains Tuma (1)

For G2, you can vote for any 2 characters who have been released as sets, except for Kopaka, Gali, Ekimu, and Kulta. Since this game will run in 2016, any Toa involved will be in their Uniter form, if that affects your decision, and the Creatures and Umarak are eligible. I’ll put the two characters with the most votes in Tournament 3.

    Nominated G2 Fighters Pohatu (1)
    Umarak (1)
    Akida (1)
    Ikir (1)
    Narmoto (1)

As for Slizers, there are only four who haven’t been in the previous two Tournaments. You can each vote for 2 of them, and the two with the most votes will be in.

    Slizers Ski/Ice Slizer
    Jet/Judge Slizer (3)
    Blaster Slizer (2)
    Spark Slizer (1)

Unfortunately, all canon RoboRiders (and one fanon Rider) have already been used! So, I’ll list them here, you can each vote for 2 of them, and whichever 2 get the most will be in Tournament 3. You can vote for Virus Rider if you really want to, but I’m not going to put them on the list until requested.

    RoboRiders Lava
    Frost
    Power
    Dust
    Onyx
    Swamp
    Boss (2)
    Virus (4)

Now for Hero Factory! For the Hero slot, your options are Furno, Evo, and Rocka. For the second slot, you can each vote for any one villain set, excluding Von Nebula and Toxic Reapa.

    Heroes Furno (2)
    Evo (1)
    Rocka (1)

    Nominated Villains Splitface (1)
    Core Hunter (1)
    Dragon Bolt (1)
    Vapor (1)

On to the new lines! The one with the most requests was, oddly enough, Galidor, so we’ll do that one first. Vote for any two of the Galidor characters listed below.

    Galidor Fighters Nick Bluetooth (3)
    Allegra Zane
    Jens (2)
    Euripedes
    Nepol (1)
    Gorm (2)

We’ll also be including Knights Kingdom II! Again, vote for any 2 fighters.

    Knights Kingdom Fighters Jayko (1)
    Danju (1)
    Santis
    Rascus (1)
    King Mathias (1)
    Vladek (4)
    Kentis
    Adric
    Karzon
    Dracus

Finally, we’re also bringing in Exo-Force! There are a whole lot of eligible sets, so I’m going to link you to the Brickipedia set list and let you vote for any 2 Battle Machines.

Nominated Exo-Force Battle Machines Hybrid Rescue Tank (1)
    Mobile Devastator (1)

There you go! The poll will be closed on December 17th!

"Huh, you made it past the Elite Four after all? That's actually rather impressive. But your challenge ends here. As Champion of the Akihabara Region, I, Makise Kurisu, shall show you what true power is!"

...I don't know, I just wanted to take a picture of some of my new Pokemon figs (plus some old ones) and still like the idea of Pokemon Trainer Christina.

BTW the Elite Four would totally be Kyouma, Suzuha, Ruka, and Mayushii, feel free to give them whatever Pokemon you like.

I was going to go with "ORAS ORAS ORAS" for the title, but it seemed too general and I haven't actually watched that anime so anyway

Mega Slowbro is the Magic Conch. Rather than it obeying your commands in battle, you must obey whatever it says. All hail the Magic Conch!

Mega Audino...for some reason, I get the feeling it wants to make a contract with me...

What surprises me is that several of the most recent reveals are for Pokemon who were not introduced in Generation III. I guess I just sort of assumed that all new Mega Evolutions would be for Gen III Pokemon since these are Gen III remakes, and that assumption went unchallenged for some time--barring Mega Diancie, but since she's the newest Mythical Pokemon I figured that was a logical exception. Seems I was wrong! Well, that's not a bad thing, more Mega Evolutions is good news!

I don't really have much to say on Mega Lopunny, other than "Wow, a new Gen IV Mega Evolution, now there are 4 of them! And we're all going to die because 4 is death!" and "But...why Lopunny??" Mega Slowbro raises the possibility of Mega Slowking, but then again, Mega Gardevoir is in a similar situation in regards to Mega Gallade, and nothing has come of that yet either. Very surprised to see Mega Audino, not so much because I don't see a whole lot of love for that particular Pokemon (although...), but because this is the first Gen V Mega Evolution. Since Forme Changes were in full swing in Gen V, I wasn't expecting to see any Gen V Mega Evolutions, at least not during Gen VI. This opens up a lot of possibility--Gen V is now open for Mega Evolving, which means we could see awesome transformations for Pokemon like Gigalith and Chandelure and Golurk. It's very exciting.

So...three more months. What a coincidence.
