it looks like an experiment with bees and the beehive has all this honey but in different colours strategically placed through training and conditioning bees to know and understand art. you could make a lot of money being an artist in this as-yet unexplored medium

it would definitely benefit from more neon green, but not by just giving it straight shells ... at least not these ones b/c theyre too short i have an idea for smth i want to do but idk if itd look good u_u also i changed her arms a little to make her armour look more attached and cohesive and also lowered her shoulder armour half a unit

The problem with Life on Mars, I think, is that there wasn't any obvious conflict to help drive the plot. Yes, there was one in the actual story (with one traitorous martian trying to sabotage relations between the martians and humans), but that kind of political intrigue doesn't really resonate with kids and wasn't even self-evident in the set designs—it was years before I realized the blue martian was the "bad guy" in the story. I think a new theme with human and alien collaboration is definitely possible in the future, but even if you did do something like that you would still need to have some sort of conflict play in order to create a more obvious story structure. A theme like Space Police could easily achieve that simply by including both humans AND aliens teamed up for both the police AND criminal factions. Granted, you'd want a more unified design language for the villains in that case (to make clear which side every character was on), but you could still achieve that by making both the police and criminals uniformed factions—Blacktron, anyone? yeah i guess youre right ... like i said though, they could at least have humans vs aliens teaming up or something. the idea youve got w/ space police seems pretty cool and i wouldnt mind that really, im just kinda tired of humans vs aliens and want something a little more lighthearted in spacefaring, but thats. probably just me lmao

i think life on mars deserves a reboot. it holds a certain significance (at least, to me) as being the only space line where the goal of the human and extraterrestrial characters doesnt involve violence between each other, but cooperation and friendship. i know being able to swoop a spaceship around and have heroic humans defend themselves against antagonistic aliens is fun to roleplay and is usually a fun concept i guess? but i feel like theres some merit in considering something ... less violent, i guess, especially considering how many of legos other themes are also more action-based. at the very least, it could have humans and aliens teaming up against a common threat, instead of having a weird divide of humans vs aliens plus, we could see some sweet mech designs, hopefully in interesting colours. a return of sand red and sand purple would be out of line probably, but we could still see robotic sets and vehicles in colourful shades similar to life on mars, as well as cute new martian minifigs

to be honest? that was what i was originally going to use the body for, was just kinda some powerful and confident oc, but then i was like. nah i dont want that ... i figured i might as well turn it into a self-moc, since im also a Large Person and associate myself with these colours a lot, and am pretty much the way i described my character. shes literally a self-insert, word for word also, good luck with that :x it took me ages to get these because most bricklink vendors only have like one or two at a time, and theres never too many listed to begin with she tries to be creative, but shes a bit uncoordinated at times and is fairly scatterbrained, so she rarely manages to maintain the focus to start a project. when she does start one, she usually loses interest about halfway through. which i guess does make her about as skilled as me ... u hit the nail on the head there. (ive been thinking a lot about you two with these replies and they mean So Much to me omg tysm xoxo) ahh dont be fooled lad, they look nice but theyre actually a real devil to actually pose. ive had my right hand explode on my at least three times taking other pics OKAY HONESTLY if i could i absolutely WOULD have made her look more like alphys ... but alas i have like three keetorange ccbs pieces, and gold would have been kinda gaudy, and idk how i would have pulled off the labcoat look anyway

me, coming up with a self-moc: how can i properly express my identity problems and other mental illnesses and the fact that i tie all my self-worth to my hands and what im able to do with them brain: give her claws and a messed up bird monster face me: [x] [x] shes a very anxious and paranoid character with a slew of mental issues that stem from decades of abuse and neglect. shes mostly hides in her cave and only comes out at night to eat food set out by villagers for her. she does not like bright lights or loud and/or sudden noises or confrontations. she does like when the villagers who do happen to see her at night are kind and gentle with her and understand her various ailments that make her act the way she does. thats all i have. bye
