  1. Ice of course, a prodigy strong enough to rival even the real toa nuva. unlike most ice toa I enjoy teammates and won't hesitate stepping outside the boundaries of the Toa Code if a enemy truly needs to be removed. My mask is a danger detection mask, it detects and warns me of potential threats/attacks like allowing fast dodging. Weapon a lightweight protosteel broadsword. Color: transparent white with matoro sand blue with silver armouring
  2. Definitely great like all of the others. Reinventing a flying bug into a modern attack drone is a unique idea.
  3. That color is commonly referred to as Gunmetal and Hewkii Inika has it as a primary color and Hahli's Harpoon gunMaxilos and Spinax also have a lot of gunmetal armor parts including two of vezon/mask of life heads and lehvak kal shields. Takanuva 2008 has 3 armor pieces and his mask in Gunmetal colors as well I personally loved the chrome hau color of the metallic colors and really wish most silver items would have used it as a weapon color. The regular Pearl Silver lego used had tendencies to have issues with loose grips/handles commonly on Takanuva staffs from 2003 and beyond. However the new chromed/shiny silver on the light saber handles included in Star Wars Ultra Build Figures is really good though.
  4. G2 was almost on a right track but the story was too simplified and tried to introduce too many changes including weak names for the protector characters. --------------------------------------------- Heroes For example the Protector's personal names arent advertised on the boxes and people forget those names in favor of their "protector of *"Masks used as elemental source batteries was completely nonsensical.Too much heavy usage of silver gold on the heroes. They should have done the metallic colors when the Toa were upgraded to Uniter. Thats what makes the metallic colors seem less important compared to 2002 Nuva..Toa Mata was all Primary and Tertiary colors. ---------------------------------------------VillainsAll of the enemies lacked personality The bone warriors barely have behaviour personalities and don't have any beliefs of their own.The skull spiders were just mindless zombie parasites with a weak leader. The Elemental beasts were just upgraded cannon fodder compared to the spidersMakuta had a lot if wasted set potential and should have gotten his own set much sooner instead of being a complex combiner. ---------------------------------------------Builds I dont mind the CCBS but I think the usage of translucent colors was a little heavy on the limbs. but if we could get more body details on the shells like we saw on the uniter chest pieces. stickers just arent exciting. also the uniter weapons had a major flaw IMO, the rubber material has a big chance of getting bent out of shape easily.
  5. I learned to never shoot it outside, my Rahagu Kualus white spinner got stuck on a roof once. I did get it back though. (Could have shot too far away never to be found again though)
  6. It's a ok game It was decent but it is mostly average now since hero mode makes it too easy with automatic activation. The shooting is fun but and it is very annoying that vezon becomes a generic placeholder for the piraka whenever a piraka is needed to unlock objects. Also generic grunts and shouts from absolutely every character makes the game seem weird including Hahli doing male victory grunts if you defeat a levels last boss with her. (Personally wouldnt play it on ps2 though. I've gotten so used to how good ps4 os that i'd rather own it on XBOX 360 since its controller is better than ps2)
  7. Hi wanted to share this Chewbacca i managed to build at my local Toys'R'Us in Reykjavík Iceland at a shopping mall. he was not perfect but the most obvious choice were limited to either a semi accurate chewbacca, regular emmet and random parts including knights parts (With a green wide brammed classic castle.) Does anyone know what series the legs and body are from? front: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Bahrag/chewie/20180310_135139_film3.jpg back: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Bahrag/chewie/20180310_135145_film3.jpg back no head: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Bahrag/chewie/20180310_135119_film3.jpg front no head: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Bahrag/chewie/20180310_135357_film3.jpg
  8. Really unique and colourful. Reminds me a lot of the Ussal Crabs too. Did you base the claw sizes on real Fiddler Crabs?
  9. Wasn't that card distributed in a limited run in Toa Metru sets during 2004?
  10. In that case there is a comprehensive guide to cover basic photography needs for good results. I suggest giving it a read. https://www.shopify.com/blog/12206313-the-ultimate-diy-guide-to-beautiful-product-photography
  11. What exactly do you plan on doing, photographing creations or some sort of displaying in your home? For photographing creations i would recommend buying a small ammount of fabric to determine the ammount needed as for a backdrop as in under/behind the creation. White colors are usally best for photographing but fabric bolts also allow for variety of colors.
  12. The red Kanoka is a promotional item from a polybag I think the mask was available worldwide for a limited time with the giftbox but im not sure.
  13. I admit that i really liked the design of those translucent orange minifigure broadswords from this line. Lets hope they use the available staff and money they won't be using on this line anymore for doing either something interesting or hopefully
  14. I would do a CCBS/G1 hybrid of the 2005 lineup. Rhotuka launchers have new grip that ensures that the propellers won't fall during posing. All Toa Hordika and Rahaga new jaws for talking/screaming poses. The Titans get improved arms instead of open sockets like the originals. Visorak Shells would be less floppy but they still have a jaw function and a gear system for aiming their shell before launching. All Toa 6 Hagah get updated set forms.
  15. Actually its a whole different head since it's slightly taller and it has a hinge for visors (used for preston and furno helmets)
  16. I'm not sure that's how this topic works. Did you mispost? . Nope i'm not lost. The constant speeches about the virtues are like bad jokes in my opinion.
  17. Unity Duty and Destiny. It gets quite tedious to listen to theese words used when characters say something like "you can't achieve your destiny alone." The movies are the worst offenders of this in my opinion.
  18. Yeah i dont use his name that often either as Makuta sounds far more intimidating.
  19. I would guess Voporak would be a perfect counter to Umarak. Voporak's time field which rapidly ages and decays anything trying to approach him.
  20. Activity hasn't been the same since the golden years since G1 sure G2 brought a bit of activity back but its nothing compared to the days of old. What saddens me the most is that a lot of forums have less pages for storing older topics including "Bionicle Based Creations" which only has one page for MoC topics which is dreadful in my opinion. Not dead but we seem to have been cutting back or trimming too much content.
  21. Is there any chance you will be adding the Time Trap book anytime soon.
  22. Bionicle was the main reason i met my best and greatest friend way back in 2004. I was moving back to Iceland after moving from Denmark. I never had any exceptional friends, just my toys which pokemon cards, lego system and Throwbots/Slizers. Bionicle was inmedidately got me hooked when i was 13 and saw the promotional materials in the Roboriders instructions manuals. Later after several years and i was about to start in a Upper Middle High School i talked to a classmate on my way back from gym class and to our school and asked him if he was into bionicle which turns out he was... so me and Ace became really close friends. Also since i'm usually not always much outside, i'm a apartment loner and bionicle and Transformers really give me something to fiddle with ever since I started in 2001 when i was 13 and i still have most of my figures including a few Gen 2 figures as of my current ago of 30 years old.
  23. If you mean upscaled for the regular canister sized toa, then that would be a very expensive set.
  24. Was Keetongu really THAT big to scale tho? On the technical scale those 2005 minifigures are horribly out of scale. With a upright socket which is 3cm upright and the figures are barely 4/3cm which means they barely reach his ankles compared to the size of canister counterparts. In short those minifigures look like they suffer from dwarfism.
  25. Agreed... those yellow pieces seem amazingly useful for recolored metru build and custom creations
