Well said. I want to say Thank You to Greg and the whole Bionicle team for bringing me such an amazing world. I enjoyed the aspect of the whole storyline (from 2001-2008) building up to the Big Reveal (The Mata Nui Robot) and the sets I try to collect every year, but it did not stop me. Bionicle has defined my whole life since I first bought the Toa Gali canister in Abu Dhabi and you aspired me to write Fan Fictions for the Bionicle Universe. It had some flaws and some contradictions during the run but I enjoyed it. It was a roller coaster ride and an emotional journey. It has inspired me to write a story that can be as fun, exciting, and epic with some moral meanings behind them. To me, Bionicle was Lego's answer to Hasbro's Transformers. With a mix of "Tribal mythology" and Technology behind them i.e. A cross between Transformers and Lord of the Rings/Harry Potter. With warmest gradtitude and Nostalgia, Bohrokmaster.

I enjoyed the short so much, thank you! I always wanted to see a Bionicle movie from every storyline (06-08) after the first trilogy (MoL, LoMN and WoS). I hope you could do more of them in the future! I have been a big supporter of Bionicle fan film projects where they tried to make a cg series of animated fan films for each story year (2001-2010) but fell apart soon after Don't worry I am not suggesting you should make a 40 or a 90 minute video. That would be too much to ask of you! I really like the style of animation you are going for. It fits very well with the Miramax trilogy and yeah I hope you do more of them soon!

Those were the main things we knew about Mata Nui originally, though. That he had so much more power (due to being the giant) wasn't learned until eight years later. We accepted him as possibly a titan like Ekimu for all that time. I think this fits best with the idea that LEGO has decided to make a version of Bionicle based on the popular (but at the time incorrect) theory fans had since 2001 about Mata Nui (and other things like the island just being the home of villagers, etc.). Bringing in a character named Mata Nui just to have somebody be as powerful as a character from G1 seems arbitrary, and also would seem to send mixed messages since avoiding being overpowered was the whole point of the law against multiple elements in masks, remember? Maybe Mata Nui could just be an island for the reboot (maybe with the same island shape from 2001 without any connectivity to the old Bionicle)? And have the giant robot :wink: :wink: Mata Nui without having the other "world" (the matoran universe) inside the robot

I don't know, I liked having different Toa teams, especially when they were new Toa who had previously been matoran that we knew (a la Toa Inika/Mahri). I felt that it expanded the story in a nice way. But yeah, it probably was a mistake for TLG not to carry the main characters farther than two years of official sets. I think TLG did the right thing (IMO) to bring in the "secondary" (if that's the right word:/) characters who were friends and allies of the Toa Nuva. Become Toa Inika in their adventures and later bring back the main protagonists (The Toa Nuva). And for character development it would be good to see the Toa Nuva be in the same situation as the Toa Mahri, where Kopaka could sacrifice himself to save Mata Nui and show his other side to his fellow Toa (his compassion and his friendship for Pohatu and the Toa). On topic I like having the main protagonists (Toa Mata/Nuva) and the "secondary" protagonists (Toa Inika/Mahri and the Toa Metru/Hordika) for the main storyline. I agree with you.

I honestly don't mind to see the Toa Nuva have multiple transformations. Like they have before in the old Bionicle with the Phantoka and the Mistika line.

As much as I enjoyed watching the Bionicle trailer, in a 2D cartoonish style animation, I hope the BIONICLE reboot won't have a 'childish' approach similar to LEGO Legends of Chima (for example, The 2015 Toa Mata with child-like personalities similar to Laval). I loved the new Origin of Bionicle with the two mask makers and everything else. But even though I love Ekimu as the brother of Makuta ''Teridax'', I wish it was Mata Nui as the mask maker and Makuta's ''real'' brother (in my opinion). But it doesn't matter, I like Ekimu a lot. I'm glad LEGO is using the british narrator again to tell the new story. But if he simply tells the story without the change of the narrator's voice tone (for example, ''mask of ultimate power''), then the vision of the story would feel cinematic and exciting!

Can I ask how did the Bionicle Balljoints got cracked or broken? I've been hearing about what happened to the old sets and been watching a YouTube video on how to fix them

I apologise if I offended you Bonesiii. But I think it could work as a good story or maybe as an online serial like we have before on BIONICLEstory.com i.e. Riddle of the Great Beings, Brothers in Arms etc. But only a Bionicle fanboy can dream
