  1. With this, my childhood dream of Robin Hood meeting Lego just MIGHT come true someday. <3
  2. That mask is -awesome-. I gotta ask, where does it come from?
  3. ...So, no one's going to say anything about what's going on in the groin region? ...Anyone? ...No? Alright then, guess it's just me. But in all seriousness, I love what you've done here; you've got the whole "zombie minotaur" look across fantastically, and that reversed(?) gearbox contrustion in the torso is genius.
  4. Hmmm. I know there wasn't anything like that - but I kind of like that look. if you don't mind, I may swipe that fora future MOC, or possibly a redesign of this guy.
  5. I wish it were that simple. My old collection is long gone, and was sold for FAR less than I should have made. The problem is that I need to figure out what parts were used so I know what to order from Bricklink.
  6. ...I need you guys' help. I've determined I'm going to try and rebuild an old MOC of mine, Skekel, and to modernize him with new parts and techniques. However, I ran into a serious problem... I forgot to take/upload pictures of his construction. So while he looks cool with a unique, disproportionate-from-human build (even has kind of a hunched-over Gul'dan look), my past self shot my future self in the foot. So I ask you all for help in my attempt to crack the code my younger mind created for this fellow! What I do recall is that his torso is built around a Metru body laid on it's back (so the chest is facing up and the bottom is facing back), and that I used Metru forearms to create a sort of floating shoulder. I'd also like to get input in good hand/forearm designs for his modernization! EDIT: I found a WIP shot in my scraps on FA! The photo quality is bad, but I think I'm on the right track now. And I totally forgot about that hose piece; I need to find it on Bricklink!
  7. Hah! I like the "not-SAW" you've got going on there. And gladly! I only designed a handful, but I'm still proud of them. And the gallery showing them in action, as well as a subfolder with instructions. Feel free to re-use or modify whatever you like! http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=177233
  8. Honestly, I think this is different enough from Gorzan to be it's own thing. I gotta say, I'm impressed; I like the build you've accomplished, and I like the foot-thumbs as well. I honestly get a bit more of a Winston (from Overwatch) vibe from him, personally.
  9. I gotta ask - is anyone else getting a bit of an Evangelion vibe with that lower torso armor and the kneepads?
  10. Honestly, what impresses me the most is the gun; it's so simple, yet very effective! Have you thought up any more Bionicle-scale firearms? And if you'd like to share designs, I can see if any of my old custom Halo guns are stiff on Brickshelf!
  11. I gotta say, I really like this guy! After the contest, could we get better looks at his construction?
  12. If you want pictures of any of the construction, let me know!
  13. Welp! I think this is as close to "finished" as this MOC is going to be until I can get my hands on 2016 Kopaka and attempt a custom torso build. I gotta say, despite being stuck to mostly a large CCBS skeleton, I'm really happy with how this guy looks; he's regal, yet fearsome - and quite large as well, his staff being over a foot long and being exactly 9 inches tall at the top of his head. And, despite all of that, he's still an extremely well-articulated figure! I do hope that you guys like the final (for now) product:
  14. So, as some of you may know, I love Lego. I loved it as a kid, and to be honest my love for it hasn't diminished whatsoever with age (in fact, as an adult, I feel like I actually have a bit more admiration/respect for the set designers' creativity). Sadly, a few years back after an incident involving vehicles, I was guilt-tripped into selling off my old collection (which weighed in total around 300 pounds) for a measly...$600. THOUSANDS of dollars' worth of sets for a $600 that barely lasted anything. So, for a good while, I fell out of it. Then the Lego movie came out. The rest, well...I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Sadly, I don't have much to show just yet - but lately I've been getting the creative juices flowing again, so hopefully I'll have more to show in the near future! 15. Yeah, I'm still proud of that fella. Pohatu's been my favorite since the originals; heck, he was the first Bionicle figure I ever had, so when I do somehting regarding him MOC-wise I do my best to do him justice! (And a Bonus Onua, just 'cause )
