  1. So today was my 18th birthday! I don't feel any more responsible. I had some nice cake, lots of pizza, and I got a $25 Xbox gift card plus a controller charging station! I bought Halo 3: ODST for The Master chief collection, and funnily enough just in time to get a date-specific achievement. I'm very happy with My Xbox One a month on. I've finished Tomb Raider and Valiant hearts (I had played them both on PC before, but it was a good excuse to replay them) , all the campaigns in the MCC (sans ODST) , and am almost done with Episode 2 of The Walking dead Season 1 (I watched a let's play of it when it was coming out, to my everlasting shame. I'm happily rectifying that mistake now though) . I haven't played The Deer God or GOW much so far, but I'll probably get around to them eventually. No idea what I'll do with the remaining $20 from the gift card, I'll probably wait to see if any of the deals with gold catch my eye. I'm excited to see what the GWG for next month will be, since it'll be the first month with Backwards compatibility.
  2. Today I got my Xbox after saving up for months for it! I got a good deal at Costco ($409.99 CAD for the GOW bundle plus an extra controller and 12 months of Xbox live gold, works out to the console itself only being about $250) and tomorrow I'll head to Walmart to pick up the MCC. It feels kinda surreal finally having it, since it feels unfamiliar because it's the first time I've used it, but familiar because I've been ravenously consuming any videos and information I could get my hands on in the last 6 months. I'm currently downloading GOW plus The deer God and Tomb raider definitive overnight. I heard that the interface was clunky, but it feels fairly intuitive, at least to me. I probably won't be getting many more games in the near future (outside of GWG) besides MCC and potentially Halo 5 when it comes out, but I do have several games in mind that I'm going to try to get over the next year.
  3. Probably either the Hero pack (The only promotional item I have) or Titan Mata Nui.
  4. I got the Protector of Fire and Hero pack off of the Lego site along with some Star Wars sets back in June.
  5. It's kinda cool how this is the second time there have been pictures of this specific mask on BZP. The first being January 2002 when it was originally won by Binkmeister. http://bzpower.com/story.php?ID=1
  6. I've added weapon storage to the Toa and protectors, and changed the limb setups on the Toa to increase range of motion, as well as on the PoF and PoI to give them lower arms.
  7. Keep them all forever. Barring loss, destruction, or needing to sell them to pay off the mob or something.
  8. I keep most of them in my two dressers, and the rest are in various boxes scattered around the house.
  9. I don't know if you could really call it a project, but over the past few years I've been sporadically working on rebuilding all my old sets. Sadly I've pretty much done all I can with my existing complement of parts, and need replacements in order to finish the few sets I have left. I've also been working on finishing off my G1 set collection in tandem with rebuilding my existing sets. At the moment though I'm focusing my money on things other than Bricklink orders, so both endeavours are on standby for now.
  10. For favourite I'd probably say 2004. It was when I really started getting into the story with the comics and, up until 2015, the Toa Metru were the best fusion of gear functions and posability in the line. I also think that Legends of Metru Nui still holds up the best out of all the movies. For least favourite it's hard to decide, since I liked pretty much all the years, but if I had to choose I'd probably say 2008, although only based on the sets. I just wasn't really a fan of most of the designs, mainly because silver, black, and grey were primary colours across all the sets, and being right in the middle of the brittle sockets debacle didn't help matters. Although I did love the story for the year.
  11. It was either Maku Mctoran or Gali Mata. I can't remember which came first. I was only like 3 and a half years old when I got Maku at least, since I remember getting her from McDonald's, which means the promotion was still running. Gali was a present so she might have come later, but it's already a miracle that I can remember anything from when I was that young, so the time details are hazy.
  12. I'm looking forward to when the [i/]really crazy knockoffs come out.
