Well, since Matoran still need to wear Kanohi to function, I would imagine that even though the power leaks out from a Kanohi made of level 6 or less Kanoka, some traces of the Kanohi's power still remains (If something conflicts this, please let me know). When Toa Power is triggered within the Matoran via Toa Stone or another source, it raises the residual power in the Kanohi up to a Great Mask level. This would explain why they bother using the proper disks, though I would imagine they would anyway, as level 6 and under Kanoka are fairly common, and the Ta-Matoran craftsmen would not want their creations to be anything less than perfect.

But are we not having animated mouths?

Quick question, what method are we using for mouth rigging?

I started the feet w/out ref pictures, their pretty rough,but i decided to post a picture that might give you an idea of what my finished model will look like: Credit to Duo Oratar for the hands.

Quick Question: Since I am doing the Matoran template. Would it not be easier for me to create masks and make some of the Matoran themselves?

Its kinda tall right now, and i though sakura was doing the avohkii. BTW: I really REALLY need metruan feet reference pictures, the feet are the only thing left for me to model.

when do you think you can get them to me? BTW, I added some hands to my matoran, what do you guys think of them, and how can I improve on them? Could someone get me reference pictures of a bohrok/metruan foot? I need a picture of the front and the side, after that, I can model my matoran's foot and finish the model (for the most part).

Are we all on Team Ignika or just him? on another note, is there any kind of deadline that we have to have these models finished by? Although even if there is I doubt its anytime soon (the concept art/storyboard isn't done yet)

Speaking of textures, should we give characters like the Makuta, the members of the resistance group, and Takua, dirty Armour or something?

Could you post views from the very side and very front? That way its easier for me to notice any problems that it might have. Okay, now that those views are posted:
