  1. Why wouldn't you? I, for one, think it is awesome. It's cool to make a MOC with a proto in it, this is the same thing. I think the most expensive bionicle prototype was worth less than 700$ and I am not aware of anyone using it on a moc. The platinum Avhokii is worth like 20 times more so I would not think anyone sane would have it for anything else than display. Why can't it be displayed on a MOC? It's not like it's being abused or has any chance of getting ruined
  2. I'd bet he'd be willing to go pretty low for two Lehvak Va krana.
  3. It's an insult to Bionicle fans, saying that they have a different brain structure. And the way that brain structure is described is hardly complimentary. You're kidding, right? It's a parody of this song --> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RijB8wnJCN0, with Bionicle-related lyrics. If you don't like hip-hop, or b-real's nasally voice, you're not going to like this song, but it's not making fun of Bionicle, and especially not making fun of the fans. In 2003, I doubt this would have gone over EVERYONE'S heads like it has now. Makes me feel old, really.
  4. Do you at least have a list of sets you have? There are a few things I have that you might want, and I have cash to offer too
  5. Have you seen the magnets Lego uses? Maybe if they had extra-strong magnets, it would work, but with only two contact points, and nothing to stop the mask from rotating along that axis, it's not practical. Also, the 2001/2003 masks fell off when you hit them, but that was a key point in the storyline. The toa had their masks get knocked off more than once, and the action features of nearly all the rahi were meant to hit a toa's head and dislodge their mask, or in the case of muaka and kane-ra, dislodge the entire head
  6. Less rare than an orange Vahi, but depending on the market, you might be able to get more for it. Not even close to what this thread seems to be discussing, which is super-rare, non-production masks.
  7. This topic makes me feel old. I just assumed that this was common knowledge, but things get forgotten after a while
  8. I wouldn't mind the bohrok queens. Do you have all the pieces for them?
  9. Very good video. I would have liked to see a kind of "making of" type of thing, detailing the process and behind the scenes stuff rather than just an advertisement and quick story recap, but this was the first time I had seen a lot of the animations, and I'll be watching a few times more to catch things that went by too fast the first time.
  10. Do you have a photo of your roboriders? and is that a muaka back there?
  11. When I tried to PM you, it said that you couldn't receive PMs. Is your inbox full?
  12. Accurate representation of shape, not size. Amplification difficult. New system needed. Sequence complete.Still, it was an otherwise good Moc....How big do you want it to be? There's no consistent scale for Bionicle, especially in the early years, but continuing right up to the Toa Mata Nui set. I think the MOC was an excellent representation, and shows that a set like this could work, which I had doubted.
  13. That sounds like a high shipping cost. Is there any way you'd be able to look into what it would actually cost, and I'd pay that?EDIT: Using Bricklink weights of the sets, and the farthest point in your state from me, shipping works out to be about $15. Would you accept 105, all-inclusive?
  14. However much it costs. You tell me.
