  1. Not sure if anyone has noticed this yet, but it looks like the alphabet was also used in the BIONICLE mobile game that came out a while ago.
  2. It's an interesting theory. I'd have to go back and re-read the serials to talk specifics, but I thought I'd just point out that at the time of writing those last serials, Greg had very few character names left he could legally use. I don't think he would have used up two of them on one character, but I guess it is possible.
  3. BIONICLE had a lot to do with making me love complex and interesting stories, so it's very nostalgic to me. I don't have space in my apartment for any sets, but my Takanuva Stars has had a place in every apartment I've lived in.
  4. Someone did ask and they said no. IIRC it was a pretty boilerplate legal response. Maybe GregF asked for us? I don't remember what the scenario was exactly, but it was established pretty early on that Lego wasn't OK with the release of the game. If you want I can probably dig up a link. can you dig a link? because when this happened, will make a big difference in this conversationThere were a number of people who sent e-mails and such to LEGO asking about the game. Some were immediately told that it would be flat-out illegal, while others stated that they'd forward the request to people higher-up. As far as I know, no one got a definitive reply from one of the higher-up people, and keep in mind that those who said no were just customer service reps who had likely never even heard of LoMN before and just heard "make LEGO game free to download." Bioran23 actually contacted Lego's legal department. This was their response:
  5. 1749 Aquanaut Paravane released in 1996. Makes me feel pretty old compared to some of these other ones.
  6. Yet another vote for Time Trap from this one, though I did have a tough time deciding between that and Downfall.
  7. Cahdok and Gahdok, along with Muaka and Kane Ra. I got them all on eBay a few years ago pretty cheap and am still very happy about it.
  8. I used to say Lewa wrong until I saw MoL. Nine year old TG also couldn't tell the difference between Makuta, Muaka, and Matau when Bionicle first came out, which made him a very confused child.
  9. You can order replacement parts from Lego if the sets aren't too old. They even let you do it online now (http://us.service.lego.com/en-US/replacementparts/default.aspx).
  10. I see it as elemental light can be a laser, but a laser does not have to be from elemental powers. Kind of like how a square is a rectangle but a rectangle isn't a square. Elemental light fits under the requirement for a laser, but lasers can be more general than that.
  11. This is very good news, thanks Erebus. Hopefully this license training thing will give Greg a little more freedom when talking to fans.
  12. It could technically work as a high budget broadway production, the way they do sets and effects now could definitely make it look like they were using elemental powers.
  13. The head is very well done, and the cores give it a nice scaly look. Great MOC overall.
  14. I didn't think the plot of the third movie really fit in with everything else. Vakama wasn't exactly the best choice for the one to betray them, in my opinion, and he never really had strong motives for doing so.
