of course, I don't know any of this from experience, I'm just a psych student with an interest in true crime. if you want actual firsthand advice, I'm sure you can obtain the proper contact information to exchange letters or phone calls with certain prisoners. always ask how they got caught, though, so you can learn from their mistakes and know what to avoid.

in the event you do decide to send messages to the police, don't use digital means. and if for some reason you have to, always make sure there's no metadeta or hidden files that can be traced back to you. that's such an amateur mistake, especially in the 21st century, and yet it's what brought down the BTK.

if you plan on making a habit out of it, if you really want to make things more difficult for the authorities use different methodologies and different dumping grounds every time. space them out over long periods of times, the more sporadic the better. it'll make it harder for them to determine whether it's one person. and for the love of god, unless you're really narcissistic, avoid taunting the police with letters and calls.

additionally, unless you're ballsy enough to leave the victim at the scene (or dispose of them through other, more "creative" means) do thorough geographical research beforehand to determine the best possible dumping ground. try to determine when the surrounding area is most active and plan around that so you won't be seen.

that's why you don't make a single plan, you make multiple plans. always have backups. do sufficient research, both of methodology and the victim's habits and patterns. always come up with a solid alibi and make sure it's airtight so it can't be easily disproven. if you're not already familiar with way to minimize physical evidence left behind, definitely research that as well.

if you're gonna keep using trivializing and demeaning "cutesy" terms like "trans-tastic" then I should be allowed to continue reclaiming the word trap, which is one of the only terms I actually like and feel a connection to. stop being a hypocrite.

but whatever. you do you, keep on making yourself angry every day, but I'm just gonna chill here and have fun with my friends, focus on my career, and spend quality time with my cool girlfriend while keeping my blood pressure at a normal level.

you're so self-absorbed and defensive that you chose to attack somebody on the same side as you because, unlike you, they chose not to wield their identity like a sword and become some kind of activist or martyr in favor of putting that kind of stress behind them and trying to live a normal, happy life while encouraging others to do the same.

the entire point of the entry was screw labels, be yourself, don't worry about other people's judgments. it was literally the opposite of an attack on any minority group on BZP, especially the one I'm a part of. you chose to interpret it the way you did and then launch a campaign against me even though I removed the entry from public view and then said nothing more about the subject.
