Bought the song Build Me Up Buttercup by the Foundations. Methinks my musical sensibilities might be slightly different from most people in this thread.

Thanks for playing, everyone! I appreciate the feedback; some of my decisions, like the unanimous voting, were supposed to keep the game from being too hard for the rat, but now I realize that they actually made the game too easy. I agree that the game could use some tweaking, but I'm glad y'all enjoyed it, regardless! I'd be interested in making a follow-up but currently I have no plans to do so, so if someone wants to make their own variation they are more than welcome to.

The crooks stood around deliberating. After so much fruitless bloodshed, they had no idea who to pin next. Some suggested Mr. Tan. Others, Mr. Black. They argued for hours, trying desperately to come up with a consensus. To no avail. Just when it seemed they might be getting somewhere, the doors of the warehouse burst open, and in marched a troop of SWAT officers, armed to the teeth with all manner of weaponry. Mr. Lime and Mr. White instinctually pulled out their guns, firing at the police officers. They managed to peg a few before they were brought down. Mr. Tan, bully that he was, whipped out his .44 but was capped almost instantly. The rest quickly surrendered, shaken up by the rapidly decreasing number of crooks around them. The remaining thugs were rounded up and shipped off to a nightmare prison in Zakaz for their violent crimes. And in the end, Mr. Violet received a medal of honor and a promotion for his fine work as the rat.

Neither Mr. Blood nor Mr. Teal were the rat. Both are now deceased.

The remaining crooks poured as much lead as they could into Mr. Silver's body, only to realize too late that he was not the rat either. Round 3 is over. Round 4 begins now and will end Thursday at 10:00am EST. Now that we are in the last round, I think I should clarify: if any mayhem is going to occur, it must occur before the end of the round. Once the round is either burned or you all have settled on a target, the game is over. If you're right about the rat, you win. If you're wrong, you lose. So, if you want to "thin out the ranks," as it were, you must do so before 10:00am EST on Thursday, November 13th.

Round 2 is burned. Round 3 begins now and will end on 9:00am EST on Tuesday morning, November 11.

Bullet casings flew as Mr. Gold was riddled with lead, his blood and brains painting the floor a ghastly shade of red. It was too late that they discovered that Mr. Gold was indeed not the rat. Round 2 begins now and will end at approximately 9:00am EST on Sunday morning, November 9.

The clock is ticking, boys. I for one need to get to bed. Round 1 ends at exactly 1:15am EST. When I get up in the morning I'll see what the final verdict is.

It all comes down to Mr. White. If he changes his vote by approximately 1:00am EST tonight, Mr. Gold dies. If not, he lives and the round is burned.

In order for Mr. Gold to be lynched, Mr. White and Mr. Blue must change their votes and Mr. Tan must not vote contrarily.

As far as I can figure out, this is the voting breakdown. To make things easier in the future, please indicate your vote by writing VOTE in bold, capital letters, followed by the name of your suspect. If you are changing your vote later on, write CHANGE VOTE in bold, capital letters followed by the name of your suspect. Here is the breakdown. If someone shoots someone else, the Gunslingers must bring down the shooter. They don't have any choice; it's instinctual. Also, since I had anticipated inactivity, here's a little addendum to the lynching rule: If a majority of the remaining players vote, and they reach a consensus (the vote of their target is not taken into account), then at the end of the 48 hour period their target is killed. However, if anyone votes contrarily to the consensus, then no one is lynched and the round is burned. So let's say in this case 7 players vote for Mr. Blue. Mr. Blue votes Mr. Pink, but since he is the target his vote is not considered. As it stands, at the end of the 48-hour period Mr. Blue would be lynched. However, if Mr. Gold were to unexpectedly vote for Mr. Blood, then you no longer have unanimity and the round is burned.

Okay, every participant should have received a PM from me detailing your codename, your role, and a brief description of your perspective of the heist. Now that all that business has been taken care of, round 1 can begin. It ends at 1:15 am EST on Friday, November 7, or whenever you guys settle on someone to lynch. Now the game can begin. Get to the debating, accusing, shooting, or whatever it is you plan on doing. Just know that the round only ends when you all have chosen a suspect to kill or when the time expires.
