Ragaru

Greetings! Introducing my villain: "Atharak" Entry image: You can find more photos and documentation of some minor functions here: http://project-continuum.blogspot.no/2014/11/bionicle-battle-for-golden-mask.html About the character: The initial idea was to create a character that was ancient, one of the very first bio-mechanical beings to exist, and granted immense powers. He would have decayed over time, making it so that his body would be lacking some armor (like his chest area), and some parts would be replaced by new ones (such as his right arm, which is fully mechanical). Originally I wanted to go for a grey/metallic Toa Mata/Mata Nui type of body, where it would be a basic humanoid anatomy with the iconic Toa Mata face. However, as I built, he got a more intimidating shape with the extra joints on the legs and the use of teeth to make him feel less like a Toa. The more sinister look would make him more like a skeletal zombie, where you see the inner workings such as tubes and gears, making him appear more unique from what you'd usually see in a BIONICLE character. As for the mask, it has over time fused with him and become a part of his face, twisted into a nightmarish sight. And that's about it. Wishing all entrants the best of luck! -Ragaru
