  1. People usually don't call me by anything. I mean, look at my display name. It's a hassle to type. But people have called me by my full display name.
  2. The golden days.... When I was still very active 'round here, and the forums were buzzing every second.I've been on hiatus from regularly participating in the forums, but I'm still the same Bionicle/Lego fanboy I was years ago. I'm still building MOCs, still checking for Lego news. You know, all those things.I've been a fan of Bionicle since its beginning, and I found this site years after that. The epic saga and the cool sets have been a significant part of my childhood and has been a great influence on my life. For that, I am thankful.
  3. Wow, I've been here for six years, and I realized just now that BZP has a Twitter account....

  4. I chanced upon BZP on one of my searches for Bionicle-related stuff 6 years ago. Then I joined after a couple of months. Back then, I have never heard of such a thing as a "forum" (being only 10 at the time) and members quickly noticed my naïveté.But after some time, I've learned how to express my opinion eloquently, and generally just find new friends who shared my interests. One could say BZPower had a great influence on how I interact socially, and served as a gateway for me to eventually use social networking (in a mature manner).I used to be active then, but after the discontinuation of Bionicle, I've rarely participated in the forums (this is my first post in 7 months), but I try my best to find time and reply to topics, or share one of my MOCs. I may have a lot going on in my personal life to be able to participate here often, but the BZP community will always be near and dear to my heart.
  5. Back on BZP after who knows how many years......

  6. Our school is cool enough to provide us a weekly Robotics Class in which we use Mindstorms NXT. This is what happens when I have an hour of this class:Behold, the NXT Motorcycle! It is a result of my imagination and my aversion to the boring NXT models my teacher forces us to build. When attached to the NXT Brick (and with an appropriate program), this thing can move forward and backward. The belt drives on each side (the pulleys with the rubber band) transmit the motor's rotation to the attached front wheel.More photos:http://www.brickshel...cle_-_front.jpghttp://www.brickshel...ycle_-_side.jpg
  7. Thanks! I'll try to work on my photography skills. Thank you! I'm not exactly a good photographer, and I'm not using state-of-the-art cameras. Noted. I'll try and find a suitable replacement for the middle legs. I don't usually build complex MOCs, but I'll give it a shot!
  8. 2006-2008, as well as 2001-2002.
  9. Yeah. I have one of those, though I never folded it.I did try the instructed folding on some ordinary paper, and it flies quite fast with just a little amount of force (Ok, no more physicist talk).
  10. I started as piraka570, which was just basically piraka + a random 3-digit number. Then, I changed that to.... actually, I forgot the second name I used. But I remember the fact that I was dissatisfied with it that I changed my name back to piraka570 the first chance I got. And now, I use 16N1K4. It's relatively obvious where I got that name. I've stuck with that ever since, and I've stared to use it in other places, like Brickshelf and Twitter.
  11. The human manifestation of the Mask of Life, with an interest in Lego, several fields of science, and updates a website every Sunday, as well as an uncontrollable craving for gummy worms.
  12. I just got back from a 6-month BZP hiatus.Still feels the same. Boring, and difficult to find topics I want to post in.
  13. Yeah. The person below me enjoys explosions.
  14. It's been over 6 months since I've been on the forums, so let me show you what I've been doing. Here is my giant insect-beetle-thing: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/16n1k4/P3b/giant_insect.jpgAnd here is my giant strider-pond skater: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/16n1k4/P3b/giant_strider.jpgHope you like it!
  15. <Trainer> used Fire Stone on Tahu. What? Tahu is evolving!
  16. Apparently, the car has a force field generator. That automatically turns on.All of a sudden, Von Nebula appears out of nowhere along with his lackeys.
  17. Your improvements made it very nice to look at. I looked at your revamp beside the original and I could see a significant difference. Gaps were filled, the arms look a lot less feeble, and the legs are better designed now.Could you revamp something else?
  18. Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds, Medium and various cartoons. I also watch Raw and SmackDown.
  19. The Inika/Mahri did the most heroic acts when the universe was at stake.
  20. I've never had to wash my Bionicle sets before. I just wipe the dust off using a damp cloth.
  21. Back in the old forums, I had as few as a mere 5 posts per week. I'm not like the fortunate people who get to use their computers on weekdays.Since the new forums were up, I've been a little more hardworking on finding topics I wanna talk about, so I've been posting a lot lately.
  22. Yeah. Did not know that til now. If a scorpion sting kills you, the scorpion came from nature, so that's a natural cause, too. So Certavus's death is probably from a disease or something. That may be, but usually natural causes refers to old age. If you died from a scorpion sting, your death would be classified as 'killed by a scorpion'. I thinks it is safe to assume Certavus died of old age. Good point. If you're old-age, it usually means that your organs are getting too worn out to perform their functions, meaning they would fail at some point (apparently, it takes a really long time for that to happen here). So maybe that's "old age" in terms of Bionicle. Gradual organ failure caused by passage of time.
