  1. Wow, it's gorgeous. Would love it to join my VW Comby from a few years ago. Shame not in time for my birthday, but anyway. Once again though my usual rant about US prices vs. Aus prices. Since it doesn't include shipping, there is no excuse.
  2. Clearly the only name worthy of being the biggest name in the BIONICLE fandom are the boys from "lostgame" on Youtube, for their heroic endeavours in their search for the Toa Inika. True heroes.
  3. What is it so far, goldy man's and red guy's helmets, right? Gawd, that means I'll have to make quick sprite mockups of those as well, urggghghghghhghghhghghghghghghgghgghghgh. It's so dumb that I already have ideas for the 10 year one.
  4. Probably with good reason. Thanks BZP for now 8 and then 9 years. Yes I am counting the last few. Also pi day.
  5. OK it isn't really. And yet...I mean just LISTEN. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SLOGs9ttiE I have feelings about Stickerbrush Symphony. And David Wise is a musigician.
  6. A Brickshelf Backup Maker. Someone (Bob Kojima???) created it when Brickshelf was supposedly closing down, anyway this could be very useful, and seems to be working. It probably won't work for majhost because it still says majhost.com but anyway. For anyone that's interested. EDIT: Further research indicates that there used to be an update to this which did Majhost.com instead of majhost.com, but it doesn't seem to exist anymore oh well.

    Best Scene From Korra?

Best scene was the Nuktuk/Bolin parallels. Hands down. Also I agree with the hair thing. Looked good.

    OK

So what did I even blog about in that time? That 2DS entry is all I remember. I know there was one other, but were there others? I don't remember that one I do remember was anyway. Remember back in 2009 when we lost all the data back to sometime in September 2008? And I decided I had enough? Ahahaha, hilarious. What a complete and utter COOL DUDE.

    BrickCon Mosaic

I'm not able to contribute, just popping by to say that that's always been one of my favourite images and I think it gets overlooked, so nice choice!
  10. It's an interesting idea, what would interest me is the owner of the set would get some cut of the service each time the set is rented, or whether you just get a cut to begin with. Anyway all this sort of shared ownership (uhoh) is really interesting stuff, something along these lines... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uRYOQj_t16g WARNING: Excessive Australianness. Course there's going to be lots of issues with trustworthiness of customers, so would be interesting to hear what measures they would implement on that front. Anyway it's only a US service currently, but wish them all the best, and curious how successful this model will be.
  11. Seriously though, I watched all of Star Wars again a while ago, and honestly the only one I enjoyed was Ill. Something terrible has happened to me. geez i hope everyone has the same font as me
  12. It wasn't until October that it was released here, can't find when, but the 17th sounds about right. I remember waiting all day at school to get home and watch it 'cause I asked my mum to get it that day. Yeah, simpler times. But yeah, certainly feel old now, geez.

    One Day

No, I don't live in one of the five Springfields in Australia. There's certainly more than six in the US.

    One Day

Just a random life goal I just made up... I would like to visit all six (or more???) of the US towns that have the same name as my hometown.
  15. Geez, trying to catch up with all your web activity is quite an arduous thing these days, took me just under a week to get back up to speed. I still maintain though that it's good to get away from the Internet for a while, get away from technology and experience new things, it's good for you. And in some respects I'm glad I'm unable to stay in Internet contact whenever I go away most of the time. ...but at the same time it's good to be back amongst all the bedlam. There is just so much new content out there being generated all the time, crazy times. One day I might post coherent and well edited entries and stop with this stream of thought nonsense.
  16. Oh wow, it seems an age since I first heard that they were together, I guess that was years ago (obviously), wow. Anyway, congratulations Turakii and TLH! Wishing you all the best for your future together!
  17. So...this hasn't happened yet, has it? Because it's all still there...anyway it hardly matters, a lot of the stuff I'm interested in is no longer there at this point, which is somewhat a curse and a blessing. I think I've salvaged what I've wanted to salvage in the last couple of months. But yeah, I guess I feel more a pang of sadness over this than the BIONICLE website closing down (oh and hey, it's happened, only thought to check just now!), this was one hub of my life for many years, but if it has to go, it has to go, the reasoning is sound to me. Fare thee well, BZP Archive. Now to finish this ramble.
  18. Yes indeed, this is a welcome change. This will make talking about things a lot easier too, not having to be so coy when referring to certain websites...but I may continue to do so, *NOSTALGICALLY*. I mean, if the word filter ever gets changed, I'll probably still act like it was still there, because it's fun in its own way.
  19. Oh my gees, this is STILL going? Got to hand it to Roger, this is a phenomenal effort. Also if you get tickets, mighty jealous!
  20. Took a bit of searching to find the Donation page again. EDIT: Oh wait it's on the main forum page, DERP. (I know I could've gone in the raffle or something but honestly I don't care about entering anything right now) What the HASHES is the new spinny anyway? Is it one of Furno's helmet things? Whatever. Also I've actually been on BZPower for ~8.333 years. Wow.
  21. Never got into it myself, though I can tell it would've been a thing I'd enjoy if I had been able to or had any real desire to at the time. But yeah I can't be bothered getting into it now.
  22. Hey everyone for real this time, I thought I'd come back and let you all know what I've been up to for the past year. I say this, but really not much has happened. The main gist I've given up on my arts degree and moved to an Information Systems degree, and it is going pretty well. It's no fun though. Not because of the subject matter, but all the compounding stuff that comes with it. It means essentially I've wasted 3 years of my life (well, I still have the option to complete this degree later so not complete waste), debt is going to get ridiculous, but most importantly all my friends really are moving on now and I've not really seen any of them in two months. Bleh, don't really care though, I've never felt that attached or belonged that much so this doesn't really come as any surprise. I don't know what else to talk about really, I really hope that I can get some music stuff done but I'm really struggling to get things done with it. I have plenty of ideas but I get stuck with it, I dunno. On the flip side, around New Year I volunteered at a music festival down here and because of that I was offered and will volunteer at another festival in Byron Bay in a weeks time, so that's going to be exciting. Hitting the road, meet new people, all that jazz. Should be fun! And who knows, maybe more opportunities to do this sort of thing. I mean, I've heard of people who've done this sort of thing and been offered to go work at overseas festivals, so I'm taking any opportunities I can get. Oh of course! I knew there was something else I wanted to talk about. Our family moved house! It was really quick and sudden, but the folks were itchy to move somewhere, found this place, and quickly bought it and sold the old house. It's a couple suburbs away from where we were so it wasn't a tremendous deal to move but it's in a more manageable walking distance from town and music venues so that's great, We've been here for about two months and yeah there's work to be done but I think it's shaping up nicely. BZP wise I still have a couple of things that I'd like to do here eventually, you'll see hopefully. I'll let you know. You may have seen me post a couple of times in news stories, honestly I pop in here every now and again to check out things. It's kinda a blessing as well as a curse that the archives are not working properly. You may have also noticed that my glitched account was finally successfully deleted, so Hapori Tohu returns to his rightful spot as first member. Sorry for all that nonsense all these years. Um...I guess this wraps things up for now. If you want to get in contact, try adding my Skype (over on the left thar) and I'll try using it! Those other options are there too I guess. And I'm listening to Dancing in the Dark and my About Me section [at least appears] to be dancing in time. It is perfection to behold.

    Appa

Aw yeah, Tale of Iroh was also super sad. Different kind of hurt though, because it was compounded by despair and loss, while this was more distress and hopelessness, which was a lot more harrowing to watch. Iroh is probably my actual favourite character currently because all I think is how things would've been if he was given his birthright still and all. Anyway, I have a season to go (and I'll watch Korra too eventually) so I'll hold off any more judgements. Great Divide wasn't that dumb.

    Appa

Hey everyone, I was going to post a sort of update today about what I've been "up to" for the last year, but it's getting late so that might wait till tomorrow. Instead, I'll talk briefly about something that's been bothering me for the last couple of others. Well, not bothering...uh, anyway. You'll see what I mean. So a lot of you would be fans of Avatar (The Last Airbender variety, not the James Cameron variety). And I am too, but until today I had only seen all of Book 1 and I believe 6 episodes of Book 2. It's the last days of my holidays, so I'm trying to cram in as much of it before I go back (though it'll only week 1 argh I'll talk about this later). But I just got up to Book 2 Episode 16, ie "Appa's Lost Days"...and before this I always really enjoyed Appa's character, I just thought he was well designed and executed and all that. He actually might be my favourite character, bizarrely, so far. But seeing that episode...for me it was really distressing. I mean usually I'm nowhere near as emotional about the cratoon medias, that's usually left to live action (Ricky Gervais' Derek, that was also an extremely touching series). But yeah, this episode was just done so well, it was painful to watch as anything. It just perfectly encapsulated animal cruelty, distress and loss, and just...sigh. The feels, man. ...please don't tell me it gets worse. I was enough of a blubbering mess before. Anyway, hi everyone! I'll be around for the next week, don't know what that'll mean but anywho. Talk again tomorrow!
  25. Much better than that mini one they made a couple years ago, but as you would expect. Looks great! You really can tell how excited the creator was in completing it, and it does look wonderfully complex but deceptively simple. And solid to boot! Now, if only Australians got it at a discounted price...or at least got it on par with the US pricing.
