  1. http://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Machop#Sprites

This is how normal and shiny Machops have looked between Gens 1 and 5. ALL shiny Machop here are depicted as being brown or golden brown just like the Machop above. Not green.

This is the shiny Machop a friend of mine found. It may just be the quality of the photo but it looks green to me, far greener than any shiny Machop seen in the above pics, and far greener than the shiny Machop of X and Y, which used the exact same models.

  2. Lego brought back bionicle when I made a Hero Factory version of Tahu, lego was impressed and wanted to use my idea, and I said on the page that lego was allowed to take my idea and that I wanted bionicle to come back so it did. We did this together because we had unity and duty and destiny and I pray to greg every night.

By that logic, where is the baterra set? :P

  3. Just leave your sig as-is for now, and then add pictures related to BIONICLE's return once we have more non-leaked images to work with.

Alternatively, if you prefer, you can remove the bring back BIONICLE stuff from your sig right now and replace it later. If there is a NYCC reveal, then you only have about a month to wait.

The plan is to leave the sig alone until LEGO makes an official announcement.

  4. I find it ironic that a bunch of the City sets they stole were probably Police sets. Maybe they wanted figs to fit their criminal likeliness?

All in all, its kind of sad that they would do this to a toy store, because they're probably just going to try to sell these on the secondary market and it won't be easy to know if the merchandise is stolen or not. (Although if they just suddenly opened a BrickLink store with a bunch of inventory out of no where, that might draw suspicion to them.)

    :music:

That's what the media thinks will happen. I suggest that ALL members watch out for City and TECHNIC sets being sold in Australia, in case the sellers are these thieves. ALL LEGO sellers are suspects at this stage.

  5. Very sorry to hear about this, but I have one question. If he was left concussed and with a broken arm, how did he pass away? Unless you aren't sure exactly. It's just not clear to me, is all.

My condolences to his family and friends regardless.

All I know is what I said in the entry. I imagine the injury may have first been diagnosed as a concussion but wound up much worse.

  6. Personally I think you shouldn't start spending money on it. The campaign itself was never going to work, but if you now have a 'community' you can easily just set up a free forum for it or something.

Just...don't waste actual money on this endeavour. I know there's the whole 'Hey if the fans lost interest then Bionicle will never come back', and that's true, but I think BZP still being active is more meaningful than an organised group of 'campaigners'. BZP has the Bionicle fan base covered, if Lego consider bringing it back then this is where they'll come to gauge interest.

And they aren't going to bring it back just because people keep asking for it. It has to make sense as a business decision, and the Bring Back Bionicle Club will play literally no part in that.

It's a nice enough idea, though. But please....don't spend your actual money on it, because it'll be a complete waste. The Bionicle fans are all still here, that's all we need in the way of a 'campaign' to bring it back. Asking for it over and over is wasting everybody's time. So just leave it, and pleaseeeeee be savvy enough not to waste your actual money on it. I'm not saying this to be deliberately negative, for a change, I'm just being realistic. Please don't spend your money on it.

Not to mention I've never heard of that host and chances are you'd be getting ripped-off anyway.

What alternative did I have? All the well-known free hosts have file size limits that are way too small for my needs, and I am working on adding large games to the site, so I need all the space I can get.

  7. I couldn't find anything regarding why Australia can't participate, but I did observe the oddity that despite Australia getting the PAL localizations of games (from what I can tell, at least), the franchise as a whole in Australia is not managed by TPCI. Does that mean that in Australia the franchise is overseen by the main branch of The Pokemon Company in Japan? It's confusing.

In Australia, the franchise is overseen by Nintendo Australia. The Pokémon Company International does not have a branch here.

The reason they won't include Australia in the World Championship series, which has only been said to me in private via their Support Centre, is because it's too expensive for them to hold Video Game tournaments here, and since we live so far from the rest of the world, they can't fund plant tickets to Worlds either. Nintendo Australia might be able to do it, but for some reason they couldn't convince TPCi to let them.
