  1. Who's the hero really? All the Toa did was keep Kulta distracted. That's about as cheap as the similar final battle in Croc 2!
  2. "No cats were harmed in the making of this video." Interesting how the cat in the background just slept through it all!
  3. Fun fact: 2006, Pokémon's 10th anniversary, was the last year to not have a new main series game. I wouldn't be surprised if same was the case for its 20th.
  4. I take back my entry about Pokémon ending. Actually it's going mobile! Pokémon GO takes the main series games we're familiar with onto the smart phone. Will it replace console games? I don't know. But it'll be interesting to see how the franchise will transform from here. In Pokémon GO, you search for Pokémon in the REAL world, not just in a game. This will encourage engagement in the local environment and community, which can only be good for the next generation(s) of children.
  5. I just got a phonecall from an Indian person apparently from the Department of Public Prosecution saying I defrauded the government of over $5k between 2008 and 2013, during which time I studied at high school for 1 year and TAFE for 5 years, and never had a job, and since said time I've had a police check for a job application and that was cleared. He said that unless I agreed to some compromise, I would be arrested by police half an hour later, and then jailed for 5 years. That was over half an hour ago and I'm still here. Clearly it was a scam. But he proved he knows my home address, and that distresses me the most.
  6. Nintendo's doing a 'business announcement' about Pokémon in 2 and a quarter hours (3pm Japan time, 4pm Australian time). The last time something like this happened, LEGO got rid of Bionicle. Could the same thing happen to Pokémon? It might explain the lack of a main series game announcement prior to this year's World Championships.
  7. The newest Pokémon VGC season starts tomorrow! Usually in Australia it starts in ~April!

  8. To add to this, Big W Karingal (Frankston, Victoria) has Skull Warrior, Skull Basher and Skull Slicer, and K-Mart Frankston has all 5 of this semester's sets!
  9. Black Phantom. It had a lot pieces useful for making custom Skrall.
  10. Leaks are a constant thorn in Lego's side. Why is it never properly dealt with?
  11. I have ~250 sets and counting... so many that I can't post them all here. Being at uni I just don't have the time.
  12. I don't mind who we get as long as it's not a G1 Toa. Also I look forward to seeing the shift from Air to Jungle giving us sets of Toa of the Green for the very first time! Also I love the idea of one Toa separating from the others and forming a new team!
  13. Sorry if this counts as a thread revival, and sorry also for my impatience, but by any chance have this semester's sets been released anywhere in Australia yet?
  14. Surprised it's not Tahu's mask tbh!
  15. Ice because of my tolerance to the cold and Kopaka (2001) being my first set. Also the Green. Control over nature interests me too.
  16. As a genwunner who STILL can't handle the fact that this is a hard reboot, I can imagine the Skull Warriors as undead soldier-class Skrall, and Kulta (if he too is undead) an undead leader-class Skrall, leader of a legion that once invaded/conquered/inhabited Okoto.
  17. It's a HARD reboot whether we like it or not, and we have no choice but to put up and shut up. Can you tell I disapprove of their decision?
  18. As a continuation of Gen 1, in the distant future.
  19. Basically, they were made pretty much as machines by the GBs until Velika programmed feelings and personalities into them.
  20. A Makuta, so I could have access to how many awesome powers?
  21. They've also got to be near you. I love Kolhii as much as the next guy, but I don't think I'd be willing to do a twelve hour drive just to kick a ball around. Maybe there could be regional teams? That way, it's no more than about a four hour drive. That's probably be a good idea. Because believe me, I despise long car drives. It just so happens that I found a map of the US with each region, as well as sub-regions. Matches would be in the middle of each region. For example, the base of the South Atlantic region would be Raleigh, North Carolina, West North Central would be Lincoln, Nebraska, etc. Personally, I think the Lincoln team (or any plains states' teams) would have to be called the Lincoln Baldlanders. I guess Australia's equivalent would be each state: Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia and Western Australia could each have their own village-represented arenas and matches.
