  1. The hard part is finding at least 3 friends who are not only into Bionicle, but willing to play Kolhii.
  2. Too bad that combiner with the Mask of Creation isn't Artakha. But will the combiners be canon?
  3. I for one would love to learn TSO's name, but understand why I can't (and am used to being punished for others' actions; I didn't complain about Teridax's name).
  4. How different did the mutated Ehlek look compared to a normal member of his species. Were his spines his only mutation like his BS01 article implies, or did he undergo other mutations too? All I know is that he was mutated very little compared to the other Barraki, and he grew spines.
  5. Until someone can name me an irl rocky planet that's bigger enough than Earth, I'll vote for a smaller size. I just can't imagine Mata Nui's head to be so big yet his brain only be big enough in comparison to house a thousand Matoran.
  6. Kopaka because he's like me. I refer to both Gen 1 and Gen 2, but they are like me in completely different ways.
  7. I didn't hear that Bionicle is confirmed for 2018, I heard it was confirmed for three years (2015-2017). I'm just asking what you would want after that. I think Lego won't be going back to Gen 1 concepts, especially esoteric ones like the Vortixx, until much later if ever. The Baterra would be interesting, though--maybe they could play a more prominent (and different) role in the new generation. Apologies for my mistake. I meant until 2017. So it's just a rumour at this stage? I once heard a rumour saying Gen 1 would go until at least 2011 and they had 2 more movies planned beyond The Legend Reborn. There is no confirmation of BIONICLE continuing past 2017. With that said, Hero Factory was successful enough to last five years. Do you really think the BIONICLE reboot will be less successful than Hero Factory? Anyway, put me in the "it's too early to say" camp. It's possible we'd be able to stay on Okoto for more than three years, or that we'd have to explore a new setting before three years are even up, depending on how the story is told, how long the storytellers can keep Okoto interesting without exhausting its storytelling potential, and what plans they have for Okoto in the first place. I do think that ideally, the story should be able to stick with the current six Toa as protagonists, maybe with one or two additional teammates. Unless, of course, the writers manage to wrap up their story arc within three years. Shoving all of the main characters into the background before their story has reached a satisfying conclusion is a good way to confuse and alienate people. I'll try again. Where was it confirmed Bionicle would last UNTIL 2017? Where did LEGO themselves say we were guaranteed 2016 and 2017 sets? Never mind past 2017 until we have 2016 and 2017 first, and I for one haven't seen confirmation. And there's nothing that'll say Bionicle's hard reboot won't drop like a protosteel balloon. The 2009 soft reboot did.

  9. Where did you hear Bionicle is confirmed to go until 2018? If it did continue, I'd love to explore the rest of this planet, but no new planets. I'd also like to see more of the species we saw in Gen 1, like Skrall, Vortixx and Skakdi. Plus I'd like to see the Dark Hunters return. More Toa, especially those not of Gen 1 (or those of Gen 1 with no sets) would be fantastic too. Last but not least, BATERRA!!!
  10. As a traditionalist I naturally say more Toa. Not much more I can say at this early stage that doesn't tie in with Gen 1.
  11. The third answer for the first question is pretty much exactly what you described, so you didn't really have to null. No, the third answer suggests people would've preferred UNFINISHED serials, and I said I prefer FINISHED serials.
  12. I wish I could vote in one poll and null another. Unfortunately I was forced to null the entire poll because I'm not allowed to not answer just one poll if there are multiple; I MUST answer them all or none of them. None of the options in the first poll apply to me, forcing me to null despite being able to answer the second poll. I would've preferred that the unfinished serials were finished (and ideally more done; I can't get enough), AND we got Greg's "clunky" answers. If I was allowed to null only the first poll and still vote in the second, I would've answered "No, I acknowledge and accept all of it."
  13. Not sure about this one, but it's the first one that came to mind: S: Every living being profits R: From the death of another
  14. I feel dumb for having to ask this, but do the Protectors' masks have powers? If so, what are they?
  15. The Target store in Bayside Shopping Centre (Frankston, Victoria, Australia) now has Tahu, Kopaka, Onua and the Protectors of Air, Fire, Ice and Earth. The Myer and K-Mart stores at te same centre now have all 13 sets. K-Mart sells them for $1 AUD less per set.
  16. Why wouldn't we? I mean it doesnt really make sense to do that, unless they want to encourage people to buy them online. I think Makuta of Oz is just jumping to conclusions. It's literally been less than a week since he posted about his first sighting of them. It's not at all that uncommon for sets to not show up all at once, particularly at physical retail locations. If they don't have the other sets by next month, then you might have reason to worry... but there's no point in hyperventilating about any region "not getting" the full range of winter sets seeing as the summer sets are still like five months away. Well considering we've already been waiting a month and a half longer than the rest of the world it's only natural I be concerned, especially after having to wait NINE months for Toa Ignika, the most sought-after set of 2008.
  17. To continue on Australian sightings, I'm Rick James Bricks in Pakenham reports that they too have the same 6 sets mentioned above. It's clear that Australia is not getting Gali, Lewa, Pohatu, the LoSS and the Protectors of Water and Stone, and frankly I'm not impressed. inb4 they're released in August or not released at all
  18. Onua, Tahu, Kopaka and the Protectors of Earth, Jungle, Fire and Ice have been sighted at the Myer store in Frankston, Australia! In fact they hit the stores so recently that I actually saw them being stocked just before midday today! Because they have only just been stocked, it probably won't be long before the rest appear too.
  19. Plausible. The possibility of the story being in the past was a theory I considered quite a bit myself.
  20. I want you to read what you just wrote there. Then I would like to ask you why you would ever want to connect Gen2 to the massive mess of continuity and stupidity that is Gen1. Because I like complex stories and hate hard reboots. That's entirely my own fault.
  21. inb4 you get a Key To Nongu award for this theory I for one hate the idea of the hard reboot you're implying. I've always hated hard reboots no matter what the franchise. But like I said in my version of this thread (clearly this is a parody of that thread), everyone knows it's a hard reboot whether we like it or not, and all we can do is deal with it.
