  1. I'll see what I can do, Omi. None-the-less, the cosplaying is going to be awesome! And Shine, I wish you were going too. -CF
  2. Now there's an idea... -CF (actually, I really want to know if you came in here just because of that title. So, please post something. (Like could this actually happen?))
  3. Poor Ryo. Lost his hair. (and the other stuff is good, too) -CF
  4. things not going well? Well, it looks like the building is.... But you do need to focus on other important things that affect many more people. But it is good that you've been splurging on pick a brick too. Mine also had the dark red tiles and black plates, as well as grey jumper plates, white 1X2 tiles, black...uh...disks?, and trans studs. One question: what are "1x2x2 trans-smoke panels" and "1x1 washing machine bricks"? That overhang in the second pic was a good idea, and I would love a close up pic of the detailed part of pic 3. (like what red piece you used) Oh, BTW, the sooner you get things done, more other things will come along. No wonder you escaped to your own bricks! (and Omi made a good point) Have fun at BF! -CF
  5. I can't wait until KATSUCON!!! What's that you say? What's Katsucon? Well... It's a hugh Anime convention coming to DC soon! It's at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington DC February 16-18. I'll be going on Sunday the 18th. I can't really explain it, except that it's an anime con. So I guess we'll do any anime thing thought of. Anyone else going? Advertising removed. ...ah, darn... Time for some anime fun! -CF

    Snow!

So I finally get some snow here in the DC area. I got to miss school, but didn't enjoy it much because I'm sick, but I really needed rest so it beats dealing with school. Let is snow!!! -CF
  7. So I went to the Master Builder event today (the one I've been talking about all week) I actually got to talk with the Master Builder, and he actually works in Enfield with GregF! He organized the building of an 8 foot tall aligator, but the kids (and me) actually built the huge to-scale 2X4's and 1X4's and 2X2's and whatever else was needed. In the end it was pretty cool. At the Lego store I got some Lego sets of course. Nuparu, Thulox, and Blade Titan. (I built the Bionicle) I also got tons of Pick a Brick. First off, they had clear studs. Second was black disks (two studs wide, one stud in the middle, I can't explain it too well). Third was jumper plates! Fourth was 2X1 white tiles. Fifth was 4X1 dark red tiles. And of course a bunch of other surprising stuff as well. (I got 20 of one brick!) Best of all I got to meet two BZPers! *Lyichir: Rachira of Influence *Aanchir: Rachira of Time (Twin brothers) They are really nice and their dad is an AFOL and their mom is very supportive. They also have a little brother getting into Lego and they are one awesome Lego family!---Nice meeting you guys! I'm sure we'll see eachother again! (speaking of which, they went to BrickFest 06, but they never saw me or Omi. So, Omi, next time (like at BFPDX07) someone needs to organize a BZP get-together time) Well, that was the event. We all had a great time! (sorry no pix) -CF
  8. not to be confused with a blue squirel attack This is an actually legend in RPGs. Some guy had the brilliant idea to have an acklay* pop up from nowhere. And I mean nowhere. Anywhere, actually. When flying in your x-wing. Battling Darth Vader. Buying coffee at the intergalatic starbucks. So I joined in on that organized/themed av/banner. Aclkay! -CF *an acklay is a Star Wars alien seen in the Arena Scene in Episode 2. (see my banner, just don't use it)
  9. So here's what I'm doing while you're watching the Superbowl: -Lego Master Builder Event Dinner sometime Watch the original, the first, Gundam movie! Yeah, I'm not a big sports fan. (Go Gundam!) -CF
  10. what stinks is I won't even be near a Borders or B&N until two days after it comes out! Agr! But I still can't wait! (and I would like to know Janus's reason's for not liking the title. It could end up being the book's whole purpose, the Deathly Hallows) -CF StF says: Edited, removed your sig. . . takes up lots of space.
  11. So here I am making one last attempt to gather BZPers at the Lego Master Builder Event at Tyson's Corner Center Mall in Northern Virginia. Live there? Been to that store? (actually, it doesn't matter, come anyway!) And I quote, See you there! -CF
  12. So, today is the famous, or infamous, Groundhog Day. Each year on February 2nd, Mr. Punxsutawney Phil pops out of his hole and looks for his shadow. Either seeing it or not means different things. This year, Punxsutawney did not see his shadow, which means there will be an early spring. Take this news as you will, I for one want more snow. -CF (My friend says I should use this)
  13. well, I'm thinking of sending a couple of MOCs. Do you think I should send my Piraka Fusion? Good luck, and have fun giving stuff away! (and just have fun at BFPDX07, even though it's two months away...) -CF
  14. So I can't tell if you failed or passed. Maybe, simply, nobody passed or failed and this was one of those tests that looks for info...yeah, that sounds right. Well, for the past month, I had all 26 letters of the alphabet in my sig, all ready to be linked as if it was a PBZP. I really wanted to see how many people PMed me thinking it was PBZP, and I got 0 PMs about it. This isn't a bad thing. I'm just seeing how many people really want to be PBZPized. (And if I actually want volunteers, I'll post here first) So, what are the results again? -CF note: I don't need volunteers. (or your sympathy) I was just doing a test, and am now giving the results. 100% passed/failed, 0% failed/passed
  15. yes, it certainly has, so I'm goint to edit my post... -CF
  16. So, yesterday was Spirit Day at school. Besides wearing school t-shirts and other blue and sliver clothes (school colors), some people decided to die their hair blue. My friend did, and... so did I!!! Yeah, that was fun. I can't wait until the next spirit day! Oh, and here's another shout for the Lego Master Builder Event going on at Tyson's Corner Mall this weekend.. Please discuss in that entry (I'll be there sunday afternoon) -CF (Ah! Blue! What about green???) And this seems to now be the official "post your crazy hair" blog entry. Let the competition begin! (seriously, that'd be awesome)
  17. got the PM, and I look forward to seeing you there! -CF
  18. Well, I'm sure as long as the server will be running faster or better or anyway that makes you happier then the members don't mind a little down time. On that note, you could just say that between, say noon and midnight one day will be an off day just for this purpose. If it runs faster, then we'll live with it. -CF
  19. So, here's the deal. Who: A Lego Master Model Builder What: Building an 8 foot tall Allgator, and meet other Lego fans/BZPers Where: The Lego Store at Tyson's Corner Center Mall When: February 2-4 (see below for times) Why: To meet a Master Builder and meet other Lego fans/BZPers How: Get to the Tyson's Lego Store this weekend When: Friday (2nd): 11 am-7 pm Saturday (3rd): 10 am-6 pm Sunday (4th): 11 am-6pm Perhaps you got a post card if you are in this area of Virginia. With that postcard you can get a free small Pick-a-Brick cup if you show the card and spend $10 or more. (or try it without the post card and try to tell the cashier to use the code "999247" that was on the postcard) I will be there on Sunday from 4-6, either in the Lego store or with the Alligator model right outside. I'll be wearing my BZPower shirt. I'm a 17 male. (Capricorn; likes long walks on the beach...) I'm going then because I hope that there will be less people there because it's Superbowl sunday, and the model will probable be (almost) complete. So, will there be anybody else there? I really would like to meet some people! -CF
  20. shirt, as seen here: http://www.bzpower.com/forum/index.php?aut...;showentry=3783 was made by me (please discuss there!) I wore it to BrickFest 2006! -CF

    Le Sigh

Yeah, there's always someone complaining. And it's on stuff that can't be changed, because (I think) the 2008 sets are already planned, and the old sets already came out. There's actually a quote from GregF somewhere about how a BZPer wanted him to tell the set designers that the BZPer thought the latest batch stunk. GretF then said something along the lines of... "I can tell the team that BZP loves the latest sets (and stuff); that's great! I can tell the team that BZP hates the latest sets; what else is new?" IMO: Go with the flow enjoy the story, try to learn something, enjoy the mystery/get info to make things clearer Become a MOCer and look at the sets in terms of MOCing pieces, not overall design, because that set will then be take apart pretty soon Don't make a topic and comlain, people! Deal with it and talk about it someother way. Like in an Official topic for that series. -CF
  22. On that note, I would like to tell you where I'll be and when, so we might be able to meet up or even more than one BZPer. (although some of you live in Louisiana and Massachusetts) Anyway, I'll be at the SAR Oratoracle Contest thing on February 17th, in Richmond, VA I'll also be at Katsucon (which I still need to blog about...) that same weekend, attending on Sunday. It's at the Omni Shoram Hotel in Washington, DC that weekend. I'll also be at the Tyson's Corner Lego Store on Sunday, February 4th for that Master Builder event. I'm going from 4-6 in hope the thing will be complete and not many people will be there (instead staying at home watching the Superbowl), so I can actually talk with the Master Builder. I'll be wearing my BZP shirt (light BZP blue with the BZP logo on both sides) I'll be at Scout Camp Henson (Keep in mind I live near Wash. DC, so it's not far from there) the last week in June. I'm going to Philmont Scout Ranch on July 8-24 (I think that's when I return). And I'll be at my local Borders for the seventh Harry Potter Book anyone going to be near me? -CF
  23. Foolish shine with your foolish questions. The avatar is 40*64, extending it to a full 64*64 would distort the image a lot. And it would look pretty bad if stretched. I like the avatar a lot. I have absolutely no idea what it is or what it means, but it sure does look cool. Who said anything about stretching it? Just center it on a 64x64 blank image then fill the extra white on the sides with black. Thanx for the comments. Mikerahk, might want to check out FullMetal Alchemist. Borders, the Library, or even online. It's a pretty popular Manga/Anime. And Shine, I like that idea, I think I might just change it... -CF
  24. Well, it's been a while since I had an amine section entry, so... Please check out my newest Avatar! It can be seen in this entry. (actually, I made a comment in here, but that entry is pretty cool so you should go there anyway) If you don't know (or it's changed), it's a Fullmetal Alchemist symbol -CF
  25. what'm'gonna'buy? Well, I'm putting some in the bank, because I have enough money for right now. I might use some on Lego, but I'll most likely save the rest for Katsucon purchases (and admission)
