  1. IC: Isfel finished fiddling with his sword. "So, Avya, are you here alone?"IC: Ara'kas rolled her eyes at Hasil's comment. "How responsible of you. Or should I say fanatical. Drinks were not invented just for hydration."
  2. IC(Amordis)[sakrinil]: Amordis sighed. He would have to answer the matoran truthfully, if he wanted him out of his hair. "Try Castle Sakrinil. It's the big castle in the middle of the city. Only a blind zyglak could miss it."
  3. Hey, what's happening with the Infernikavika?
  4. IC(Amordis)[sakrinil]: Amordis scowled at the sprawled matoran. "Indeed you should. Others might not be so forgiving."
  5. IC(Amordis)[sakrinil]: Ahh, just before dawn. The perfect time. These were the thoughts of one toa, wandering through the city. Amordis smiled, surveying the common folks going about their business.Only these weren't the majority. These were the rowdy fools, the drunkards, those that could afford to stay up all night. It would practically be common courtesy to rid the streets of one of them. But not now. Not yet.OOC: Amordis open for interaction.
  6. @Lev: Neutral good? That's no fun. but okay.As for the cannon thing: He's really strong? And it's chained to his arm. Umm, it's a small cannon? As fer freaking out the peasants: That's okay. Wisp doesn't really like the big cities anyway. And Zolu knows how to play cards, so he'll be fine.
  7. Good characters you say? How 'bout this?Character Name: Unkown, goes by WispGender & Species: Male Prime Species, Carapar style.Powers: Incredible strength and endurance, although slightly diminished by age, as well as a brilliant mind for such things as predicting the wind or tinkering with ships. He also has the unique power to communicate with Zolu,a product of his loose screws.Equipment: Five iron chain segments are carried by Wisp. each with hooks at the ends. These he uses for his inventions, mostly. Two, are wound around his torso, the other around his shoulders and upper arms. But the fifth serves a different purpose. It is wrapped around his left forearm, binding his main weapon; a cannon, to his arm. Said cannon also features a curios array of mirrors before the fuse, allowing him to use any source of light to fire, albeit after a warm-up period. However, he does not carry cannonballs with him, and so unless supplied with them, uses his cannon as a bludgeoning weapon. He also uses an entirely too small wooden cane, which was probably sized for a Turaga. He uses a Akaku. His last possession, and his best friend, is Zolu.Appearance: Wisp looks extremely odd. He is a massive brutish figure, hunched on one side because of his cane, yet not weighed down by his cannon. His yellowish tan coloring is obscured by the chains wound around his body, and his mask, a brilliant blue, is ever so lopsided on his face.Faction:Southern AlliancePersonality: Alignment: Chaotic Lawful Good. To extrapolate, what he does is legal, and it's moral, it's just not predictable. Wisp is a old inventor type, driven more than a little mad by his work. However, this does not affect his heart, only his mannerisms. He insists on using a cane far too small for him, carries a cannon but no cannonballs, sometimes breaks into broken fragments of an ancient language('Cause I want to show of my 'Olelo Hawai'i.), and is fairly certain he can talk to a statue.(In his defense, he can, but that's the statue's fault.)Biography: Wisp is an ancient being, having seen the rise and fall of at least one nation in his travels. In his earlier days, he was a voyager, and retains some of that experience still. However, so much time, much of it stuck on Yheyn through politics, has grated on his sanity. Time will tell if these auspicious times will help him, or drive him fully over the edge. And his complementary profile:Character Name: ZoluGender & Species: Dragony Statue animated by a Kilan, which has achieved a sort of sentience. Likes to think he's male.Powers: Flight, prodigious strength for his size, and the ability to take more of a beating than a statue ever should be able to. In addition, he can pseudo-regenerate by attaching other pieces of hard objects to where his original stone was, thus rebuilding himself. Equipment: None. He's a stone dragon, he can't carry things.Appearance: Zolu is small, a little smaller than a Matoran. He would fit in perfectly with a host of gargoyles, with small bent legs, a draconic face, and stone-feathered wings. His arms are large in proportion to his legs, and they end in powerful claws. One of his elbows and part of his nose is metal, from a fight long ago. He also has a vaguely reptilian tail. Faction: Southern AlliancePersonality: Alignment: Whatever Wisp is, emphasis on the chaotic. Zolu is stuck in a sort of half-sentience, not quite an animal, but not fully a Toa- Level being. All that can be conclusively proven is his loyalty to Wisp. If he would ever learn Matoran, that would be a different story.Biography: Zolu was created by some random stone Toa with a Kilan. After being a mindless beast for centuries, he started to gain a mind. Then he met Wisp, who was convinced he could speak to Zolu. Over the years, the pair kind of formed their own language, which to this date, neither of them fully gets how that worked. But in any case, Zolu is now Wisp's loyal companion.
  8. IC: Isfel drew his sword to inspect it. He had started the motion, might as well finish it. "I've been training ever since I was a kid, with whoever I could. I mean, I originally just trained at home, but then I got turned out into the world, and here I am now. How about you?"
  9. @Lev terrifying people: Really, guys? But maybe I'm just saying that 'cause I remember when we both used to hang around the comedy forum.
  10. @Lev: Of course I never listen about that.Remember your other RPG? Also, Where should I start out Amordis?

  12. Character Name: AmordisGender & Species: Male ToaPowers: Those befitting a toa of plantlife, as well as slightly heightened speed and flexibility. His plantlife powers mostly take the form of modifications to his gauntlets. (See Below).Equipment: The Kanohi Kilan, mask of animation. It can instill a sort of half-life in figures of stone or clay or such, but cannot control such creatures once the are animated. Amordis also carries two protosteel throwing knives, and two matching wooden gauntlets. The gauntlets are the main focus of his power. In their base form, they are simple gloves that reach half to his elbows, flat save for three ridges along their length. Notable and common mutations he causes in them include widening them to form shields, heightening and sharpening the ridges, and causing thorns to erupt from their front, acting as a sort of blade. One hidden feature they have, however, is a small hole over each knuckle, from which self replenishing thorns can be flung elementally. There are eight holes in total, and each takes about ten minutes to make another thorn. Appearance: Amordis is a slender, shifty looking toa. His dark green armor blends in well with foliage, and is intentionally unadorned so as not to attract attention. His hands, however, are noticable, or rather, the wooden gauntlets he always wears are. He wears but one faction symbol, a tattoo on his left forearm, under his gauntlet.Faction: Vermillion DragonPersonality: Alignment, the neutral corner of Lawful Evil. Amordis is an exceptional smuggler and assassin, harboring little love for the common folk. He is however, above all, professional. Those who see him in his work are quickly given a choice, say nothing and live, or attempt to hinder him and be dispatched. He is also crisp and precise, albeit detached. To him, conversation is but a means to an end, as is everything.Biography: Amordis grew up following the strict rules of the Toa Code, but in a bit of experimentation, found separating himself from them was far more convenient. From there, he sought out the Vermillion Dragon, quickly rising in the ranks of their operatives. However, his discretion is a great ally. Few in the Southern Alliance have guessed his true vocation, believing him to be a mere rogue toa. And of the few who have found out, hardly any are still alive to tell.Character Name: Unkown, goes by WispGender & Species: Male Prime Species, Carapar style.Powers: Incredible strength and endurance, although slightly diminished by age, as well as a brilliant mind for such things as predicting the wind or tinkering with ships. Over the years, the pair kind of formed their own language, which to this date, neither of them fully gets how that worked. But in any case, Zolu is now Wisp's loyal companion. Character Name: Toa TherisGender & Species: Male ToaPowers: Elemental fire powers, including the ability to breath fire without killing himself. In addition, exceptional tracking and survival abilities, and an uncanny ability to sense traps. Equipment: Uses a Kanohi Sanok. He is missing his right hand, and as such has replaced it with a cutlass. He also has two ranged weapons. A basic gunpowder rifle, built for precision, and a handheld crossbow, small enough to be fired with one hand, and also having the capability to fold the arms in when not in use. His last possessions of note are a bandolier of rifle bullets and crossbow bolts, and a coil of rope, tipped by a grappling hook.Appearance: Theris is a gaunt, wraith-esque figure, his bright red color artificially marred by a forest green. Across his chest he wears a bandolier of ammunition, with his rifle clipped to it's back. His crossbow is usually holstered on his belt, on the left side. His right hand is missing at the wrist, and a cutlass juts forth from it's absence. His rope is slung along the same path as his bandolier.Faction: Toa CouncilPersonality: Alignment: Lawful Good. Theris can be a bit of a loose cannon, but is a good being at heart. He fully believes in the Toa Code and the protection of innocents, however, his definition of the Toa Code is the letter, with no accounting for periods. As such, betray or cross him, and he'll make sure you don't make it out in one piece. After all, you can be maimed but not dead.Biography: Theris was a pirate once, the scourge of the yhehn coast, and a danger to all. During this time he lost his hand, it being cut off in a fight with a rival ship. But then he became a Toa. To his shock, the transformation did not heal his hand. However, in a practical joke of fate, he found his toa tool was a pirate's cutlass, where his hand was. Taking notice of his new stature, he turned himself in, served his time, and joined the Toa Council. However, he is now getting restless, and has been contacted by a Steltian, one "Arzanyos". time will tell what will happen.

  14. IC: "No." Isfel started to fidget, unfastening the clasp of his sword belt. "I was sent to Ko-Wahi to train. It was unnecessary for me to keep up with recent news. In fact, I am only here because I believe I have found a master, and wish to study under him." IC: Kamaehu was beginning to formulate a reply on the impracticality of Hasil's setup when Ara'kas finally interrupted the two of them. "The exact methods don't matter. Talk about something useful, such as the kidnappings of the Turaga, how best to defeat a rahkshi, the depressing lack of quality in Ta-koroan beer. Something."
  15. IC: Isfel shook his head. "I just got back from an extended stay in Ko-wahi. I know practically nothing about recent news."
  16. IC: Isfel stepped back, aghast. He had actually had no knowledge of the attack on the hospital. In fact, he took the news hard. "who would do such a thing." he said to himself, uncomprehending as to why someone who destroy a hospital. IC: Kamaehu shook his head, then gestured around the bar. "I don't believe you've ever been in a bar fight. the issue is not efficiency or range; it's space. If you throw one of your knives and miss, you're sure to hit something. And it is not the Toa way to harm innocents."
  17. IC: Isfel might have suspected there was more to the washing up story, but he didn't really care. He was more concerned about what happened after, here. "Ga-Koro ain't here and you know it. What happened after you arrived in Ga-koro?"
  18. IC: Isfel accepted the handshake gladly "Pleased to meet you, I'm Isfel." Isfel looked closely at Avya, trying to see what he could gather from her appearance. The answer: nothing. "So, how'd you come to be in the market for a sword?" He asked.
  19. OOC: Kal, I wasn't saying you wouldn't be able to draw it fast enough. I was saying you'd destroy part of the building.IC: Kamaehu's grin widened. "Ah, your Av'tlen. It would do just fine for a lot of things. It is an excellent blade, given the conditions under which it was forged. But for any sort of bar fight, you cannot deny the supremacy of one's one fists."
  20. IC: By running, Isfel had managed to catch up to Avya, but what little breath he had was stolen away by the sight of the sword she held. It was an nice blade. Not one he would prefer to his, as he liked to the extra reach his greatsword provided, but he could definitely see the appeal. "Umm,wow. I think I forgot what I was about to say." He said, still admiring the sword.IC: Kamaehu chuckled at Hasil's rib. "Your Avien-kel? Hardly. You'd be paying for the property damage before you finished unsheathing it."
  21. IC: Isfel picked up a butterfly sword, but then noticed the matching one sitting right beside it. "Sorry," he told Stronin. "I'm more of an asymmetrical guy myself. I start doing everything symmetrical and people'll start thinking I'm compensating for..." He trailed off. "Hey wait a second. That girl's not here anymore. If I remember correctly, she had a nice looking dagger." He started to leave, calling to Stronin as he ran. "I might be back soon!" IC: Kamaehu sighed, laying the halberd against the wall nearest him. "I had no fear of that. If I were attacked with a halberd in this bar I would be in little danger. Besides, were they to flee, my sword would find them faster than they can run."
  22. IC: Isfel didn't bother to turn. "No, Stronin. Not yet. There was a dirk that was looking good for a bit, but the balance isn't right for me." IC: "It appears we've arrived." Said Ara'kas to Hasil, pushing open the door to the Lavapool Inn. It was about time she got a drink.
