  1. IC: Kamaehu shook his head slightly. "Thatʻs a story for a different time. One where we are not all in such close proximity." Then, as something on the ground caught his eye, he suddenly stopped walking, dropping to one knee. "Hmm. This could be useful."

  2. IC: "Well, I guess you get used to it." Isfel hypothesized. "I mean, you have to, surely. ... Sir, you got used to it, right?"

Kamaehu chuckled. "I had a lifetime to do so. And Iʻm morally obligated to, Araʻkas has saved my life at least twice. Besides, sheʻs my cousin."

"So, to answer your question, yes, Araʻkas is aware that her personality is abrasive."

  3. IC: "Oh, so when you said you were "medi-

Araʻkasʻ words were cut off by a far more reasonable reply. "Yes, that actually does aid me. Now I know we are not preparing to chase down Hiemalis, or something of a similarly revengant nature. And yes, we will stand with you. Being a hero for heroismʻs sake is what I live for, after all."

  4. IC-Hasil:

"'Because we're in the middle of nowhere?' What sort of reply is that?" Hasil asked, turning his head back slightly. "We're going there because we're in the middle of a forest. Last I knew, that wasn't nowhere."

IC: "You are right, I was mistaken. We are in the treeʻd section of nowhere." Araʻkas growled. With a sigh, Kamaehu began an attempt to bring this interminable argument of semantics to a close. "Letʻs take this slowly. Hasil, after we reach Le-Koro, and... complete the requisite functions for embarking on an excursion, what do you intend to do, or to put it another way, what will your mission be?"

  5. Confirming match with Portalfig, yes I am paying 2000 W.

    Strategy

Somehow, Torch fights himself yet again at the disadvantage in strength and agility. Fortunately, Ski is not an elemental user, so no annoyances there. First order of business:Skiʻs Ski Pole. Torch will fling disks in arcs at Ski, creating a sort of disk trap, where everywhere Ski would dodge to, a disk still knocks the ski pole out of his hand. And the staff of slow, for good measure. This will be accomplished by Torchʻs expert throwing ability and high mind, allowing him to plan out the trap. With Skiʻs only ranged weapon gone, Torch will then heat the air under him, allowing him to rise into the air like Tahu did in ʻ02 that one time. From there, itʻs fireball time. Fireballs until Ski goes down, as Torch sort of canʻt be meleed while in there air like that. If Ski throws a disk at Torch, it will be intercepted by a fireball. If at any point and time Ski uses the Staff of Slow, Torch will compensate with his Power Fuel. If Torch getʻs hit somehow, itʻs okay, his toughness is higher than both Skiʻs strength and his mind.

Also, I like the idea of arenas. One suggestion I have is this: Mangaia Volcano. A wide lava rock basin forms most of the arena, sloping quickly at the edges to form the sides of the mountain. There are tunnels and caves scattered around the walls, which is nice, since this arena is the inside of an active volcano. If it blows, stay in the tunnels until the new lava rock floor forms. And it stops shooting fire everywhere. : )

  6. Oh hey. Comedies is still a forum. Whoʻda thought? Anyway, I do quite like this newest addition in the saga of TBTTRAH. Itʻs always nice to see you step back from epicomedy-ing and try to once again capture the spirit of the original like twenty chapters of TBTTRAH. And by the way, the mansion being on top of a volcano wouldnʻt be a problem. Unless the volcano is Kilauea. Or Mauna Kea, but thatʻs for different reasons. (Hint: Itʻs freezing on Mauna Kea)

  7. Me and Flaredrick have agreed to a match to see whoʻs cuisine reigns supreme whoʻs flame burns the fieriest. I will be paying 3000 W, he will be paying 1000 W(The miser! hmph.) By the way, Flaredrick, you can only bring two items into battle. Iʻd suggest taking the Pakari and the Hau in against Torch. Thatʻs a reeaalllyy good plan right there. Pakari and Hau, got it?

    Strategy

Firstly, Torch will throw disk floater style at Tahu, so it looks like the obligatory knee shot, but actually hits Tahu right in the mask, stunning him and hopefully dealing heavy damage. If Tau tries any elemental attacks against Torch, they will be promptly NO Uʻd by Torchʻs higher mind. If Tahu tries to get into close range, Torch will start to absorb all the heat in the surrounding area, so that when Tahu reaches that point, he is shocked by how cold it is now, and then Torch throws all the absorbed heat at him in the form of a giant fireball. Torch will then chug his power fuel and run away, rinse and repeat. The heat signature sensing that you havenʻt said I canʻt do will be put to good use in case of blinding or invisibility. In case of heated floor, absorb heat: giant fireball. If Torch ever gets cornered in melee range, he will start flamethrowering Tahu with his Inferno Guantlet flames. Booyeah.

  8. yeah, the only reason I chose lava armor is because I could wrap my head around how lava armor works even less. As for the Nova blast, I know that wasnʻt allowed. I was commenting on the fact that it was currently disallowed for toa only. Also, Dual, how do you know about the lava armor if that is a strategy for a match against you?

  9. Okay, I am confirming a match with Dual Matrix, him contributing 500 W, me contributing none.

    Strategy

Torch uses a nova blast. game.

If for some reason you close that loophole, my strategy will be thus. If Onua starts to tunnel, Torch uses techniques utilized by Furno in every match ever to melt that section of the ground, collapsing it on Onua. While it is really hot. If he doesnʻt tunnel, Torch will chug his power fuel then start to back away really fast while firing lots of fireballs and flaming disks to the head at Onua, hoping his awesome mind overwhelms Onuaʻs toughness before Onua closes in. Torch will also you his heat signature sensing from last battle to find Onua while blinded or amidst fake copies. Also, just for kicks, torch heats up the ground. And covers himself in some sort of lava armor, even though I have no idea how that would even work.

  10. As I now have money, I am open for a battle with anybody. To note: If Iʻm am fighting Onua, I will be contributing 0 W. ʻCause seriously, itʻs getting annoying loosing to him. Against anybody else, iʻll be pitching in 3000 W.

    pale kamaehu, lanakili pono

  11. Me and Zakaro have arranged a match with Each other, for 750 W each. My Strategy.

First of all, Torch will use his AWESOME MIND to raise the heat of Breeze past what it should be, causing a bunch of resistence in her wires and slowing her down. He will then make the agility penalty permanent with disks to the knees. With Breeze's agility hampered, Torch will use the excess heat for something useful, namely an explosion with Breeze at the center. Any tornadoes will be countered by heating of the air, causing them to float over torch harmlessly. Torch will then use his power fuel to get in close, using the agility boost to take Breeze down with a rapid salvo of AMAZING MIND fire boosted Falcon Punches, While using his large toughness to power through attacks, and the now decent agility to dodge others. If Breeze tries to take to the air, A salvo of heat-seeking fireballs will bring her down.

  12. See, there's the difference. Those were created by a guy who A: Was the main villian of the whole story, and could usurp universes, and B: Was using his natural powers as a Makuta, and C: Wasn't even using a Mahiki.

  13.

Yo, I got a question. What is the extent of the Mahiki's power? Because, I can see fooling someone into thinking you are behind him, or that there is a wall in front of them, or something like that. But I can't see using it to, say, Make your opponent think they are you. That seems to be pushing it less into an illusion and more into straight-up mind manipulation. Also, +5 to mind, please.

There have been illusions like those in the story.

    Wait, When?

  15. Well that's funny. Last night I PM'd Dual about a rematch. Le''s go.

First, Torch will get low, then he will get high. If he can't get either, he'll really try. He's got the wings of heaven on his shoes, he's a dancing man, and he just can't lose. Actually, using the lyrics to Stayin' Alive is not a good idea. Actual Strategy Forthcoming.

Immediately upon the fight starting, Torch will chug his power fuel like it's soda. Or however you use the stuff. With his agility boosted, he will run backwards, and start throwing a flurry of expertly aimed disks at Onua. These will be aimed at the leg joints and the sides of the face, so as to cripple his agility and knock off his mask, crippling most everything and robbing him of mask powers respectively. Ideally, his now higher agility and strength than Onua's mind will allow the attacks to hit before the dang Mahiki Ruru combo comes down. If not, Torch will use his higher mind and toughness, as well as knowledge by having fallen prey to this technique before, to realize that A. He is Torch and not Onua, B. Onua is not right behind him, and C. That is not two Onua's or something. After Onua is dazed and across the coliseum with now the worlds worst agility. Torch will use his mind to pelt Onua with fireballs and cause localized explosions in parts of Onua's body overheated from heavy use. He will do this while staying at a distance, and using his at parity agility and much higher toughness, compared to Onua's piddly mind, to just take him out with death of a thousand fireballs. If they ever get to close quarters, Torch will run like Karzhani, and then go to plan A. Also, If he gets blinded, he'll use his hearing and instincts/Mind by way of sensing heat signatures with fire powers to go along with plan A.

  16. Okay, strategy against Millennia.

First off, Torch will start by throwing lots of fireballs at Millennia to stop him from being able to concentrate enough to use his elemental powers. Torch will also try to get a smoke screen around Millennia, obscuring his vision. After that, as Millennia is dazed and blinded, Torch will throw a disk or two to take out one of Millenniaʻs arms, which would give Torch the edge in strength. Then Torch would get close, so Millennia can even more so not use his special attacks, and just duke it out, using Torchʻs higher toughness, and the disk attack hopefully giving him the edge in strength, to win the fistfight. Also, if Millennia ever uses his Power Fuel, Torch will respond likewise.

  17. "HELLO! Come one come all! Come see an exhibition match between Onua and Torch!" Yeah, so me and Matrix payed 750 W each for someone to say that.

    strategery.

First off, Torch uses his Inferno Gauntlet to amateur spot-weld Onuaʻs arms in place from a distance. Then, He will light up a disk, and hurl it at Onuaʻs head for a killshot, using Onuaʻs even-less-than-Torchʻs agility to make sure he gets hit. If Onuaʻs still standing, Torch will use his ROBOT STERIODS to upp his agility, then attack Onua with a running jump FALCON PUNCH, then a flurry of smaller punches, dodging if necessary.

  18. So, Me and Negative have reached an agreement. Surge and Torch will have a match/fight/battle/whatever, with each of us contributing 1500 W. Just To save time, Iʻll be posting my strategy right now.

Torch will throw his disk strategically to cripple Surgeʻs mobility, perhaps taking out his ankle. With that advantage over, Torch will advance, raining a hail of fire blasts towards his opponent, taking advantage of Surgeʻs horrendous toughness. Once in melee range, Torch will finish the battle with a falcon punch. On the defensive side of things, Torch will just tank any and all attacks with his amazing toughness.
