  1. IC: "A friend, you say?" Queried Isfel. He wasn't shaking as much now, his voice now tinged with suspicion. "Do you have a name? Because I know that dagger, and if it's owner didn't give it to you, there's going to be trouble."
  2. IC: "The Island Liberation Squad? I've heard a little about them. Just snippets, nothing solid. But I think I might have a location."Isfel stopped speaking suddenly. He had finally looked closer at the item he had originally come to ask about, the dagger at Avya's side. Seeing it now, he didn't really want it anymore. And now, Avya seemed a lot more dangerous to him. He examined it again to make sure he was right about it. There it was, plain as day. A distinctive curved blade, and a silver handle. His voice shaking, he pointed at the knife, stepping backwards once. "Th-that dagger. How did you get it?" Isfel stammered.
  3. IC: Isfel slapped a hand against his forehead. "Oh yeah. memory loss. forgot about that." He started to open his mouth, but then decided against it. Conversational smarts were not going his way right now, and he might as well let Avya talk for a bit.
  4. IC: Isfel grinned roguishly. "Secrets, you want? Well, in my experience, the best way to find things out is to live life. Explore enough, and you'll figure it out." He then tilted his head inquisitively, seemingly just noticing Avya's armor colors. "Say, what sort of Toa are you?I don't think I've seen that element before."He asked.
  5. IC: Arzanyos held up two fingers to correct Song. "Actually, only most of the ship would burn. When last I checked, we had some fireproof sails. Of course, It's still not a good idea."
  6. IC: Arzanyos walked over to Skyra, looking at the paper. "Yeah, no way that's actually writing. Give me three hours and I can get you a real contract, guaranteeing your sister's safety at the low price of more widgets than you will want to pay. Deal?"
  7. IC: Arzanyos started to chuckle. Maybe this plan of Xxeth's hadn't been so bad. On the other hand, if Skyra tried something than Arzanyos would have to throw both him and Xxeth of the side of the boat. It evened out. "Careful there. You wouldn't want to cause a... confrontation, would you?" The words came out jokingly, but they were as much warning as jest.
  8. @Your Sig: Need some double strike with your double strike?

  9. IC: Isfel shrugged. There was a lot of shrugging being done in this conversation. "I don't know for sure, but I'd guess so. "I'm really not the best person to ask on this situation."
  10. IC: "It's not that there's nothing out there, it's that it can't be found." Isfel pointed casually to a nearby Skakdi. "Skakdi aren't from Mata Nui, none of them are. But it doesn't matter. No one who came here from somewhere else remembers how they did it, or where they're from."
  11. IC: Isfel shook his head sadly. He knew there was no way off the island. The Makuta wouldn't allow it. "How could anybody try? Where would they go?" The questions were biting, but Isfel was sure that building up Avya's hopes would end up worse. "No one knows of any other islands. How can one prepare for a journey to the unknowable?"
  12. IC: Isfel nodded reassuringly. "It's okay not being able to remember things. In fact, maybe there are some things in your mind you don't want to remember." The Toa of Fire shrugged. "By the way, I'm pretty sure there's no way off the island."
  13. IC: "Oh." Isfel remarked. "Well, what can you remember?"
  14. IC; "Aeh, I'll come with you lot." Said Arzanyos, stretching out.OOC: Note: I'm not going to be on a whole lot. I'll make some posts, but not a whole bunch. As such, you guys can bunny Arzanyos as needed.
  15. IC: Arzanyos raised a questioning eyebrow at Mimira as she offered him a cookie, but accepted it nonetheless. The reason for the eyebrow; Arzanyos was standing right next to the cookies from the wedding. "So Gunner," He said. "What's this I hear? You not complaining for a whole day, and you get a thousand widgets out of the deal? I should get in on the complaining racket."
  16. IC: "Mark Bearers?" Arzanyos scowled. He wasn't as tied to the sea as the others, so he had had the opportunity to hear snippets about the group. "I've heard tales about 'em. Nasty pieces o' work, the lot." His scowl then turned to a grin, as he said winking "Nothing I can't handle, though."
  17. IC: "I space out for three minutes, and this is what happens?" Said Arzanyos, taking a piece of the cake. "We're lucky they haven't noticed. If they had, this would be gone without a fight."
  18. Wait what? I was sure I had changed it. Lemme try again.EDIT: Also, that was supposed to be an edit, not a whole different post.Should've worked this time.
  19. IC: Arzanyos didn't even bother to turn this time. "Now that, is a plan I can get behind." He said.
  20. I'll take out the key, but an actual skeleton key does not open any lock, merely those which would take a key of that size, shape, and style. Also, Rest assured, the only time that spear will shoot lightning bolts is A: A thunderstorm, and B: it's pointing at him.Character Name: ArzanyosGender & Species:Male Steltian, Leader Class('Cause their the cool ones.)Powers:He is about a strong and agile as the average Steltian. One last ability of his is that he is extremely lucky, except when it matters.Equipment: Arzanyos' main weapon is a simple steel saber, with a gold hilt. He also carries a flintlock pistol, slightly modified for ease of reload, a pair of solid gold dice, and a compass. The compass features a last ditch defense mechanism, utilizing springs and clockwork to be able to fire the compass needle out of the front of the compass, if necessary. however, this system is hideously inefficient, as it has a range of roughly five feet, and puts his compass out of commission. Lastly, he carries a collapsible iron spear(It works like a telescope), which he took from a pirate shipwreck. Apparently some sort of toa tool, the spear is supposed to be able to fire bolts of lightning from the tip, if only Arzanyos could ever get it to work, which he seems to be never.Appearance: Arzanyos is a smaller then average Steltian, of an electric blue coloring. He keeps his weapons and possessions on a belt full of leather pouches, at his waist. He wears a gold embroidered black cape, and what seems to be a matching fedora.Faction: Southern AlliancePersonality: Alignment: Chaotic Good. Arzanyos is a roguish trickster, his species' warmongering undercut in him by his carefree nature. A supposed treasure hunter, his hunting is impeded by lack of a ship. Fortunately, luck favors him as a gambler, but he never seems to win enough to get a ship. All in all, he doesn't let things like that, or his weird equipment malfunctioning, bother him.Biography: Arzanyos was just a regular ship's crewman, until he convinced his captain to let him plan a voyage. They struck gold, but lost the ship in exchange. He became a professional at exploring islands for riches, and a very profitable one at that. However, his end of the profits never seemed to be enough to pay off what he inevitably owed in damages or gambling debt. Currently he's not been hired in a while, as no one will chance their ship on an expedition with him.
  21. IC: Arzanyos shrugged, accepting the cigar. "Well Cap'n, sometimes you just aren't thinking straight. And if there's girls involved, it gets worse. That's why you need friends; to stop you from doing crazy things like getting married." Just then, Xxeth spoke up. Arzanyos turned a quick glance towards him. "Now, when half the guests are armed Toa? I don't like those odds."
  22. IC: Arzanyos stood on the deck of the Inferikavika, watching what appeared to be either a massive brawl or a wedding. "Interesting show, wouldn't you say?" He said, addressing the question to no one in particular, but probably to Raknar, who most likely wasn't doing anything important and as such had time to talk. After all, He was the ship's captain. Why would he be doing anything? Or so went Arzanyos' train of thought.

  24. IC(Amordis)[sakrinil]: Excellent. Now the only thing to do is get out of the city. His heart fairly racing, Amordis ran through the alleys, heading for the docks. While he run, he chuckled slightly at what would happen if Cotan were to search for the name Amordis had given him. He would have found the operative did exist, but was in fact, a toa of plasma, not plantlife.
