  1. Happy Birthday, BZP! I have my issues with this site at times, but its 13th birthday is most definitely a cause for celebration. You all should be commended for your dedication. Congratulations to BZP and its staff! -Mesonak
  2. Thumbs up for color variety (and for the concept), but I was never really a fan of how Breez's helmet made the transition to minifigure scale so I don't really like it too much. The original looked far better with its angular structure and whatnot. -Mesonak
  3. Hello everybody, it's that time of year again... time for the annual MakutaFest live event! For those that aren't aware, this will be the fifth year of MakutaFest! It's a live collaboration podcast between The TTV Podcast and the BS01 Wiki. At this event, we feature prize giveaways, interesting BIONICLE discussion (especially this year, for obvious reasons), trivia questions, and Q&A with the podcast hosts! You should definitely come check it out; I've got a feeling this year will be one of our best yet. MakutaFest 2014 will be held on July 20th (TOMORROW) at 2:30 P.M Pacific, 3:30 Mountain, 4:30 Central, 5:30 Eastern! Here's another link to where you will be able to watch it: MakutaFest Ustream Page Here's a link to a video with more information: Informational video -HOSTS- -TTV- Mesonak Varderan Eljay -BS01- Swert Cholie Tomana -PRIZES- Prizes will include six TNGMs, three Copper Hunas, one Turaga Vakama, and a brick-built replica of the Kanohi Vahi, built by Swert! These prizes can be won by answering BIONICLE-related trivia questions in the stream chat. -CALLING IN- In order to prevent the extremely dragged out Q&A segment from last year, we handled call-ins a bit different this year; fans were tasked with answering BS01 and TTV trivia questions a week in advance or so to determine who would qualify! As it stands, though, we still have several free spots, so watch this video and follow the instructions in the description if you'd like to participate! Please include your skype contact in your email! We hope a lot of people participate in this event! We feel that the BIONICLE community will soon see a great resurgence, and as always, MakutaFest, as well as TTV and BS01, will be here to provide you with entertaining times and a BIONICLE event that will surely be remembered. Thanks for your time, -Mesonak
  4. If they bring back Makuta after we got an oversaturation of him written as sloppily as possible, I will be extremely disappointed. I'll agree with that. A new villain is pretty much a requirement at this point, even if it was a reboot. We've had enough of Makuta. -Mesonak
  5. So here's a random thought; I bet Makuta will be back if BIONICLE 2015 is a thing Perhaps reincarnated as a spider Makuta Arachnidax, if you will -Mesonak
  6. Lego will not outright confirm/deny the speculation at this stage in the game. The fan community will not know whether BIONICLE is actually returning in 2015 until leaked images (in COLOR and in HIGH QUALITY) emerge later down the line, but those will not be permitted for BZPower discussion. Lego will not actively announce the theme's return for quite a while, I'm guessing, and likely not until close to its official release... UNLESS they pull a swerving swerve and announce it at Comic-Con or something. There's really nothing we can do but wait, and keep the leaked image discussion off of BZPower. -Mesonak
  7. That sucked. I think my suspicions for people have been off ever since ToT (ToC doesn't count since I was Mastermind). Sorry Unit. It was a process of elimination scenario and it didn't work out well. -Mesonak
  8. I vote for Unit. Something about him seems HIGHlY_SuSPecT -Mesonak
  9. I voted that yes, I do believe Hero Factory is going to end in 2015. I subscribe to the belief that BIONICLE will be making its return next year, and unless they gear the HF theme to remain minifigure focused forever, I doubt the two could coexist. I voted number three for the second question. I've always enjoyed Hero Factory, and have become more and more of a fan as the years have gone by. The theme recently began to come into its prime, and I will be sad to see it go. That being said, if BIONICLE 2.0 can surpass Hero Factory then I see no issue in having it go by the wayside. It will be remembered fondly by me, at least. -Mesonak
  10. It's okay MT, saving my life with logic is a lost cause. ;_; I'll cast my vote with Burnmad in a futile attempt to save my life. -Mesonak
  11. I suppose my background character antics during ToC don't exactly help me out in this instance. Honestly, it's not because I have something to hide that I rarely post. I'm just forgetful and lazy. ;_; I'll refrain from voting at the moment because I must ponder who the guilty party is, but in any event, I would be open to a multi-hang if possible. -Mesonak
  12. Breakout was when Hero Factory reached its prime. There were some sets that were mediocre compared to the rest, of course, but overall the line (and the story behind it) was incredibly solid. If I had to pick a close runner-up it would probably be Invasion from Below. Some of the set designs for this wave are incredibly creative. -Mesonak
  13. I know not anything of Pupwa, but from what I have heard... he seems to be a likely candidate. I'll vote Pupwa/Pupwa. -Mesonak
  14. Mesonak: Wise Master of the Swerving Swerve -Mesonak
  15. #PartyTime RIP in Peace Kahi, tho -Mesonak
  16. I switch my vote from ToaK to ShadowVezon. -Mesonak
  17. The guilty party must pay, The guilt could be placed either way, I know not what to say, This rhyme is so schway, So I'll just vote for ToaK. -Mesonak
  18. I'll take Spot 10 if you'd be so kind. -Mesonak
  19. Pretty much. I've missed the glory days of set speculations. I came in at the tail end of things, joining in 2008 and all, so I'm really glad I'm here for this one. -Mesonak
  20. I'm still recovering from the Gungoose announcement Everything else is superfluous -Mesonak
  21. Gotta say, the mere fact that such a big deal is being made out of leaked images... ...makes me more than a little nostalgic. This hasn't been such a big deal in years. -Mesonak
  22. Does Lego usually announce sets around certain times, depending on wave, or do they announce them whenever the heck they feel like? I feel like I should know the answer to this, but it ain't comin'. Lego rarely "announces" set lines in general, except for special exceptions where they give press releases (like with the recent Lego Fusion). What ends up happening is a routine that begins around August-September where people start to get their hands on the Retailer Catalog for the upcoming year and begin to share info/take pictures and post them on various websites. Then, in September-October, leaked pictures begin to emerge on retailer sites and we get pricing info. Then, later on in the year, around December, the sets become available and we start to see finalized images. Only images that do not feature the "confidential" watermark and are clearly not leaked are viable for discussion on BZPower, so basically only finalized pictures. -Mesonak
  23. "Actually, they -speculated- they were real, as they do not represent The Lego Company." Pretty much this. We're preeeeeetty confident of its legitimacy but nothing can be 100% confirmed until later on in the year when we start hearing about concrete set releases. -Mesonak
