  1. Turaga Beach As the sun set, Turaga Kohu admired the view from the shorefront. Islands, structures, and silhouettes glimmered in the reflection of the ocean waters. The tails of the roaring waves gently massaged the sands of the beach. Erecting himself with his staff, Kohu began to turn in the direction of his hut when he caught a glimpse of his reflection in the silver sea. Pausing for a moment, he examined the aged face where a Mask of Power had once been. The sight stirred up memories of long ago: memories of heroes and great cities wrought with disaster. Memories of legends. But, that was then. Turning his back on the shoreline one last time, Kohu paced steadily toward the hut overshadowed by the tall trees of his island home. As he walked the remnant of the dusk's light revealed that footprints were not all the Turaga had left behind. He had forgotten his mask in the sand. ~End~
  2. I would most likely be an archivist.
  3. I take it that means you are leaving bzpower then? That's a real shame Nope, I'm still a massive Bionicle fan and always will be, but I'm moving on to another chapter of my life where I need to let all my Bionicle merch go. I hope someone takes an interest in my stuff! UPDATE: Shipping is now free!
  4. I've listed my entire Bionicle collection on eBay. I've tried to be as fair as I could with the pricing. http://www.ebay.com/itm/161318203294?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
  5. Great idea! I'm definitely going to try this
  6. You need to wash it well before using it, of course!
  7. I always thought it would be interesting if there was an anime about Bara Magna during the events before The Legend Reborn. I imagine the glatorian/agori looking the same as armored humans (maybe with pointy ears, I don't know xP). If that was a real series, Leah Clark would be the perfect voice actress for Kiina.
  8. I would probably get along well with Onua, as he is very wise and I think I could learn a lot from him... not to mention we'd both have some pretty good one-liners to share with each other.
  9. Today I had a great idea while eating some chocolate. Just follow these steps and you're sure to have a tasty Bionicle treat in no time! What you'll need: - Chocolate - One or two of these - Toothpicks - A microwave - A fridge Instructions: 1. Put the chocolate in a coffee cup and heat it in the microwave until melted (it might take a little bit of extra stirring afterwards to make it smoother). 2. Turn the lid upside-down like this and pour the chocolate inside using a spoon (it won't fall through the hole, don't worry). 3. Put the lid in the fridge for 1-2 hours. The longer the better. 4. Take the lid out of the fridge and turn it right-side-up. Use a toothpick to push the chocolate out like this. Enjoy your finished product! Have any other ideas for Bionicle chocolates? Let me know! Edit: Apparently this also works with cheese.
  10. My brother, who is much younger than I, asked me to post his story after watching The Legend Reborn for the first time. I hope this is allowed xD He drew all the pictures himself. Presenting, The Story of Mata Nui! One day, Mata Nui was walking and a Skrall came up to him. The skrall said, "Hey how are you doing? I'm gonna smack you in the face!" So Mata Nui jumped up and attacked the Skrall. "Ow," said the Skrall. Mata nui hit the Skrall so hard that it crashed into a wall and died. Then more Skralls came and said, "We're gonna smack you in the face!" But then Mata Nui said, "No! I'm gonna smack YOU in YOUR face because you're the baddest!" After he smacked them in the face, Mata Nui picked up one of the Skrall and turned him into Metus. "Mata Nui, my old enemy!" Exclaimed Metus. Metus slithered into the field and found his parents. Metus' parents had been turned into Skralls by a big robot. Then Mata Nui came up to Metus and squished him with all his might. Metus was squished so hard that his mask came off. Mata Nui said, "I'm making you into a good guy right now, Metus! Metus turned into a good guy and Mata Nui gave him a fire sword. Mata Nui renamed him Ehluman. Mata Nui left to make some new friends. "You should enter the Glatorian tournament!" said Mata Nui's new friends. "Ok," said Mata Nui. Mata Nui entered the tournament and won! He won both the gold metal and the second place trophy! The End. Illustrations: -Mata Nui (left) fighting an elite Skrall (right) -Metus (in snake form)
  11. Incredible! I would definitely consider buying one myself
  12. Technically speaking, an "alternate universe" or "alternate timeline" is created every time a decision is made. Every time a character makes a decision, a new alternate universe is "created" in which a character chooses to make the opposite decision. The law of duality states that if "a given statement is valid for all partially ordered sets, then its dual statement, obtained by inverting the direction of all order relations and by dualizing all order theoretic definitions involved, is also valid for all partially ordered sets" (quoted from wikipedia.). Meaning, in short, that if something exists, the opposite of that thing also exists. However, these "alternate universes" are called "alternate" for a reason. Things never happened that way in the first place. It's difficult to explain, but think of the Bionicle universe we know and love as the "real" or "main" universe. Because without decisions being made in *that* universe, the alternate universe(s) wouldn't exist in the first place. I'm pretty bad at explaining things though. If you follow what I mean, awesome, but if not, it probably all just sounds like nonsense. That all being said, one can only assume that more alternate universes can be created by the decisions made in other alternate universes and so on, creating an infinite number of possibile realities. This may even cause overlapping realities (as explained in that BZP multiverse guide thing, is that still going on?). (The keyword here is "possible". POSSIBLE realities.) Now that we know what an alternate reality is, we know that the answer to the original question is "no". Why? Because the theory of alternate realities is based on choice, not random circumstance. Can a human from our Earth make his way to the shores of Mata Nui? I seriously doubt it, because no decision a matoran could make would allow that. Brutaka cannot open a gate to a universe where Vakama fights the Hulk on a giant popsicle in outer space because neither the Hulk, popsicles, or their opposites exist within the Bionicle universe, and probably not in any alternate universe that could be created either. It's like why a child cannot bring their imaginary friend into the physical world for his parents to see and touch. It simply CANNOT happen by the scientific laws in place within that universe. This is all just out of my head, though, there are bound to be some flaws within my explanation. Feel free to point them out
