  1. Hmm, random guess. Could it possibly be any Dark Hunters? Of course, many of them are insane and horribly mutated, but a few could work.
  2. I'll post pics when I get there. I'm going to try and get at least one color of each mask and the weapons done today. Any ideas what I should do for Pohatu? I'm thinking just a two-finger hand thing since he uses foot weapons.EDIT: First Update Snapshot! I've been working on the masks, and this is what I got...If you can't see it, click it. I enlarged it so everyone could see, because minecraft sprites are hard to see sometimes! My transparency was also messed up, so don't bother with the white masks. I'm working on it. Just post up comments, improvements, and basically, did I get them right? Next snapshot should be with weapons, probably tomorrow, and then the Noble masks. Just so we're clear, they won't have powers just yet. That won't be until update five probably. So, comment, and hope for the update!EDIT 2: I'm really hating the double post rule. Someone hurry and post, and I'm working on weapons!
  3. I've started on a Bionicle Minecraft M0D if you want to use that. I will be including tools, powered masks, maybe elemental powers, Rahi, Matoran, and maybe eventually Bohrok, Rahkshi, and more. I won't have much of a chance to start this week, but next week I should have some progress with weapons.
  4. Well, I still have the old stories and the most recent guide I could find. And was Sticks and Stones ever finished? I got up to Chapter 22, then it was just a cliffhanger. Hurry and finish!I've also started on a story for SCC #8 (It's been a while) about Clysmax hundreds of years after the Cypher Chronicles. I hope I can eventually finish it, but it's a bit of an apocalypse. I hope that no one gets too mad I killed off most of the Ice and Fire Fragments.
  5. This looks really good, and I like the detail. For some reason, the sketchiness kind of works for this style in my eyes. I like the mask, and the shading looks really good from the fire. Great job!

    Tahu.

It's not quite as bad as you think. Sure the mask isn't accurate, but I really like the way it looks. It just really shows Tahu and we can all see who it is. I also really like the matoran lettering around the body, it also looks really cool, like some warrior tattoo or ancient shrine kind of thing. The claw idea was different, but did turn out well. All in all, the humanoid look was pulled off really well, but the design and pistons (especially the lower torso, it looks awesome!) brought in the robot look as well. A great drawing!
  7. Oops, I thought Digital Discussion was fan-made as well. Oh well, I'm glad I still got positive reviews! The icons and models will be really easy with Photoshop and Techne, but the programming is something I'm not too good at. I'll keep everyone updated!
  8. EDIT: Just a tip, when talking about this modification, you actually need to type out the whole word: "modification." If you just type the abbreviation, it will result in "moderator." DO NOT BYPASS THE FILTER!! BASICS: Welcome to my Minecraft modification! Currently, I'm starting on the textures and models needed for the next few updates. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Basically, I aim to create the Bionicle Universe, or at least Mata-Nui, in this modification. It will eventually include full Toa Armor, which when worn will grant the user Elemental Powers as well as an Elemental Energy bar, so use it wisely. The Toa Armor must also be worn with a Kanohi to grant greater powers and Elemental Energy, and the power of the mask itself. Arm yourself with Tahu's iconic Fire Sword, or Lewa's Jungle Hatchet, and much more!Have no fear, because if you get bored of torching Creepers and making Cyrogenic Zombies, the Rahi will come into play! I plan to add in the 2001 Rahi (such as Muaka, Nui-Rama, Nui-Jaga, and more!), each with their own fighting styles and abilities, providing a fresh challenge for an experienced Minecraft player. Also included will be Matoran Mobs that live in respective villages that you can protect, or harvest masks from! Many other features will be added as I work, progress coming faster if someone would volunteer with programming. Boss fights, new enemies, and continuous mask updates should also be coming along further into the modification. For more details, see the timetable below:First Release: A few weapons and crafting recipes for Mata masks (currently powerless) and weapons. Each one will have a different crafting recipe using elemental blocks, like Kopaka's Ice Sword will be snow blocks and a stick. A few other small items should be added, such as Heatstones (function like Flint and Steel), Lightstones (for those authentic Bionicle torches),Second Release: A Matoran mob that drops powerless Kanohi. The colors and mask should be randomized to make this mob unique in every village. This will also add in the various blocks needed for the next update, accessible in creative.Third Release: Matoran villages that naturally spawn in the appropriate locations (ex. Le-Koro in a Jungle Biome), filled with huts and naturally spawning Matoran, Turaga, and Ussal Crabs!Fourth Release: Mob update! I'm going to add mobs based on the first Rahi sets, like a Muaka, Nui-Jaga, Nui-Rama, Mana, Tarakava, Gukko, Fikou, Takea, and more! Here is where it starts getting good!Fifth Release: The Kanohi Update! Powered Kanohi should be done by now for the Mata and Turaga, as well as a naturally spawning (but rare) Kini-Nui Shrine, where a player could fuse one of each Mata Mask into a Golden Kanohi! Prepare for a dangerous quest to find them all, as each powered Kanohi may be found in a different place! The Kini-Nui will also be a source of Toa Stones (or something to craft them), which will be used to make weapons infused with the Toa's Power!Sixth Release: Bohrok! I'm working on and really look forward to this update, which will include all six breeds and some of their destructive powers. They will mostly just destroy a few blocks, and will attack the player.Seventh Release: The Bohrok nest and the Bahrag bosses! A boss fight to save the island of Mata-Nui! Possibly with Energized Protodermis puddles that, when crafted with the corresponding armor/mask/tool, will turn it into a Nuva item!Eighth Release: The Bohrok-Kal, dangerous servants of the Bahrag, will awake and attack the player after their queens are defeated! Prepare for a fight! And so on with Rahkshi, more Kanohi, and maybe even Makuta! I'll see how far this gets off the ground, and any help with programming would greatly be appreciated. This will probably be a side-side-project with my social life (gasp!) and my other projects. I just want to know what everyone thinks! RELEASES AND DOWNLOADS: So, with Dual Matrix making more progress than me, here are some releases he has put together: First Release: Minecraft Version 1.4.7: http://www.mediafire.com/?crcy75zzlgn4olo#! Adds in Tahu's Fire Sword, Kopaka's Ice Sword, and Toa Seal Sword Known Bugs include: Item names showing up as numbers and Toa Seal block not correctly looking transparent. Items currently look like normal Minecraft swords as Dual Matrix puts in the sprites. They are also only available in creative. Second Release: Minecraft Version 1.4.7: http://www.mediafire.com/?re2rr9tyxl644oc Adds Staff of Hunger, Staff of Poison, and Plantlife Blade (credit goes to CeeCee). Still only available in creative. Third Release: Minecraft Version 1.4.7: http://www.mediafire.com/?fgkq956v9iigp59 Minecraft Version 1.5.1, use with Forge: http://www.mediafire.com/?vaxdzo85x6b7mgv Huge survival update! To download, add the folder to your texture packs, or drag and drop into your minecraft.jar using the above steps. PREVIEWS PREVIEW 0: The Previously Seen Bohrok MobWill be added in later, and probably updated. The skin looks terrible.PREVIEW 1: Sprite ProgressNow updated, includes Great and Noble masks of 2001, Toa Tools, Turaga Badges of Office, Toa Armor, Disks, Protodermis Tools, Protodermis, Heatstone, and Lightstone.PREVIEW 2: The Nui-Rama mobLook out for this guy in Biocraft (when it comes out)!PREVIEW 3: Matoran MobWhen they are implemented, they will have masks and hex decimal coloring, so they can be more randomized.PREVIEW 4: Kahu RenderLook out for this guy in Biocraft! Also should have energy (similar to Energized Creeper) around wings in flight. This was just a quick render in Blender, since I couldn't get textures to work properly in Techne.PREVIEW 5: Turaga Matau ModelAlso will have Mask and staff when he is released, maybe minor air powers. FAN-MADE SKINS Also, if you're lacking a skin to try this modification out on, feel free to try my Lewa skins, either blank so he can equip Toa Armor, or colored if you want to look better. Here's some more by our brilliant texture artist TFGalvatron: Kopaka, Site with forums removed. -B6, Site with forums removed. -B6 and Site with forums removed. -B6. And Gali by Takua the Chronicler. Feel free to make your own, and they could turn up here!
  9. So close, yet so far. Congrats to all those who actually put in the time to win, and succeeded, and to all those who entered! I can't wait for the next contest and my next try!
  10. Wow. No votes for me. Sad. I thought my "Your leechcraft would have me crawling on all fours like a Rahi!" was pretty good. I guess that's competition though.
  11. I've played a bit, and it isn't too bad.Pros:NO MORE BARCODE-SCAN CHALLENGES! They stopped me from playing the rest of the game when I couldn't finish them.New card powers that add a little bit more to the game.New maps and enemies to fight (change daily!)New double wielding for a better stats boost.Cons:I fail at it :PLess character customizing, no more custom minifigures :(It's a good game, just not really one of my favorites. Try it if you have the space.
  12. It was really close between Time and Tide (for nostalgia of course), and Land of Forgetfulness, just by amazing creativity. I finally chose Time and Tide, and I'm still debating with myself. Why does everyone have to be such good writers? I was also pleased that my story won't completely fail though without my vote.
  13. This was a pretty hard choice, but Parellels won me over. The forging of the Avohkii and all of Takanuva's destiny was a really clever way of reusing the old "One Ring" poem. Shadows of the Past was also really good, as well as Where He Dwelleth None Can Say, just with shear, but subtile, amount. Best of luck to you all (of course I mean to my entry! )
  14. Kingdoms by ClickThanks in advance, I've been wanting some very professional, very thorough critique for a while now!
  15. So, where is Brickfair? I might be able to go.
  16. Ooh, I got some great MOCs to enter into this, plus I could really use some prototypes! I have a whole series going of redesigned Mata-Nui MOCs ready, and I might enter a few...

Umm...Mata Nui restored his memories? I don't know, it's just a story. :PThanks for the review!EDIT: Oh yeah, I was looking though my story again, and I remembered, Takadox reveals himself to be the traitor at Mahri-Nui in the Razor Whale's Teeth. I guess that could have jogged his memory, and now Kalmah remembers!
  18. Hmm, might as well review your "chameleon entry" since you reviewed mine!I love how you filled in yet another gap in important Bionicle history, namely, the annoying cliffhanger of the Mahri that I guess never got finished. I'm not even sure Bioniclestory.com has been updated since last year (or earlier). The one thing that really stuck out to me was the conversation between Barkan and Takanuva, with all those little details like how the Ba-Matoran control and fix gravity in Mata-Nui, and the absorbing of energy from food. The way he was shown was very creative, a matoran lost without a destiny anymore, suddenly reached out to by a mysterious Toa of Light. The Mahri's relationship with the Skakdi also seemed really natural, like that's how it's been since they had been Matoran. I always love it when an author (and reader) can get inside a character's head, and you pulled it off really well, even with the shifting characters. The ending was great, showed the Golden Being finally getting destroyed (although he didn't seem like that bad of a guy earlier, but maybe he's in control of me too!), and the Mahri saved by Jaller's old friend, Takua. Best of luck in the contest!

Thanks for the review! I guess I did mess up a few times in there (even though I proofread about 3 times ). Maybe I should do a bit more research next time.
  20. I hope this get mine noticed. No one ever comments on mine, and the critics club is full.
  21. Definitely longer, mine was 12,000, and not as long as his. He said he was in the "finishing stages" of his entry at 10,000, and based on my experience, that means about 5,000 more words to go EDIT: Okay, his is about 10,622, mine really 6,453 (I got the pages and word count mixed up ). How's that compare?
  22. Another amazingly creative story entered into the contest. I'm starting to fear for my own entry. This plot was just...awesome. A little bit confusing in some areas, and I had to read over again, but overall, just great! I loved the "full circle" plot, and Tahu's way to avoid destiny, and just how everything came together in the end. Maybe a little wordy, but with that kind of plot, any deletion of even a sentence can ruin everything. It also sounds like you listened to my suggestion: Inner conflict always wins! Most of the last winners were in the mind, and this one pulled it off so well, I'm sure you have a great chance of winning the contest! I guess we all do considering how few of us entered.Best of luck! I have high hopes for this story!
  23. Wow, that was really creative. Everyone forgot about the Rahkshi, but I guess that's what they've been doing all this time. I'm interested to see who this Makuta Kyrack is, and if he's going to come back in some kind of epic or something. This would be a great first chapter of an epic, if you want to write one. It was shorter than some, but didn't seem too short or rushed, but it did leave an open ending. All in all, great job, best of luck!
  24. Whew, made it just barely. I procrastinated a bit, but I'm so glad this is done and I can get on with my life.Member Name: ClickEntry Name and Link: KingdomsPlease leave reviews, I appreciate knowing how I did.
