  1. I was wondering- do you take your mask to other places with you? I some times do this so they kind act as good-luck charms or something. So, yeah, just wondering if you did the same.
  2. Hello and welcome! >>>BACK!!!V2.0! Yup, finally got around to re-posting my topic after the major forum downtime. So, here we go again! V2.01 V2.02! Re-posted. Again and again and again...Once upon a time I was a very dedicated Bionicle collector, and a Lego master builder extraordinaire (or at least I like to think so ) and over the years I purchased a great deal of Lego until I had a very near complete Bionicle collection. While I wish I could hang on to them, if only for memories sake, my interests are rapidly changing and my room could use some things cleared out of it. As you can probably guess by my long list of owned sets, these take up a good portion of my room and closet and some extra spending money would be very useful to me right now. And so I am finally moving on and selling this gigantic collection of mine. And what better place to do it then our lovely BZP forums! ALL sets are in top condition (with two exceptions explained IN DETAIL below the set list) and ALL come with the original instructions and canister (if they came with one). I have gone through each and every set and checked that they are complete and in good condition. EDIT: After digging out and locating all my old canisters, and I have discovered that they did not survive the years as well as the sets did. The canisters themselves are still in fine working order, but many of the stickers are peeling slightly. This seems most major in the Toa Hordika and the Piraka. If you'd like I can tell you the condition of all the canisters you are purchasing. Now, for the most part, I am only interested in cash. I do not wish to trade for other Bionicles or LEGO Bricks, because that would defeat the purpose of selling this entire collection. The only thing other then cash I am interested in is anything bass or electric guitar related, or other band things (E.g. Drum stuff, microphones, cables etc). To put it all in a list… I WANT:Money/Cash/More Money! USD ONLY PLEASE! Band related stuff (E.g. Bass, electric guitar, or drum stuff, microphones, cables, etc)Table of Contents-Introduction--Table of Contents---Collection Pictures----List of Sets-----Extra Stuff------Non Storyline Sets-------A Notice About Collectibles--------Damaged Sets---------Successful Trades----------Guidelines/Rules/Other StuffNow, onto my collection. But first, here are some pictures. Prices are not set! I need these guys gone so if you wish to make a slightly lower offer, I may take it. I have a container that used to be a Toys-R-Us promotional item the 8713 Lego Bionicle Building Collection. However over some time it has lost it's label and aquired a few more parts from spair pieces from my sets, and also a few sets that I recieved from friends that I took apart and put in there. With the pieces that came with the set you could probably build a half dozen Vaki and a half dozen Rakshi!I will sell this for $20. Also please note that it is quite large and shipping could cost a little more then other items.#2 I also have a Jala Mctoran, with no disk. You can make an offer on it, I don't really know how much to sell it for.A notice about collectiblesI have many collectibles including Masks, Krana, Disks, Krana-Kal, Nuva Masks, Krata, and Rhotuka Spinners. My plan with these is to randomly slip them into sets that they relate to. So don't be surprised if your Toa comes with an extra mask, or your Visorak has a few extra Spinners. However, I do understand that many people are looking for specific collectibles to complete their collection. So if you are looking for something specific, please ask and I will let you know if I have it. Again, I have included pictures and again, it doesn’t really do anything besides give you a scare when connecting his arms together. In a turn of events that I don't fully understand, his sword was snapped into two clean pieces. Lucky superglue works extremely well on Lego pieces, and the sword is repaired. 3. oh yes indeed So I'd started this project about six months before BrickFair NE, then it kind of stagnated over winter, then when the weather finally got nice again I rushed to finish it. It is my green Hau. If anyone actually reads my blog, you might remember me posting this picture a long while ago. That was the very beginning of it. Well, not the very beginning of it, but certainly the beginning of the project side of it. Basically, this is how it went. Step 1: Papercraft I got a Hau Pepakura file from CrunchbiteNuva, and then printed it out (well, my friend did since he had Pepakura and I didn't). Then I did the usual papercraft thing, cutting out the pieces and gluing them together. That's what you see in the initial picture. Step 2: Resin and other hardening Taking the paper (cardstock, actually) Hau, I painted the outside with fiberglass resin, which hardened it into a more rigid form. From there, we mixed fiberglass resin with Bondo glass (Bondo is a filler putty used in automotive stuff; Bondo glass is that, but with fiberglass shards mixed in) so it was a thick soupy mixture, then rotocasted it. Essentially putting a big glob of it in the back of the mask and swirling the whole thing around until the entire thing was covered. This was the result of that. At that point, the paper was irrelevant; it was essentially a fiberglass/Bondo mask. Step 3: Procrastinate As I mentioned, there were a couple of months of downtime while everything was covered with snow and getting into the campus resin lab place was a roll of the dice. Step 4: Sanding LOTS OF SANDING Starting with really rough 40-grit sandpaper, I took off the edges and corners, making the general shape smoother. Then I moved to 100-grit, then 300-something-grit, to take off all the scrapes left by the sandpaper itself. I think that's as far as I sanded it before… Step 5: Priming I applied many, many coats of some Rustoleum automotive primer. I sanded petween those coats, too, to make sure the end result looked good. Then, and this is the fun part, I used 1000-grit wet-sanding paper to make it shiny. After priming it, the sanding process would literally leave it so that there'd be glare reflecting off it from the sun. (This was the point in the project, which always happens, when you finally realize that holy cow, this thing is coming together.) It was ridiculously smooth. Unfortunately, this didn't really carry over to the… Step 6: Painting Of course, what's the point in priming if you're not going to paint it? First I tried using green Krylon Fusion paint, but I kind of ran out way too soon. Plus, I'd had trouble with Krylon in the past, so I went for some more Rustoleum, since it seemed to be of good quality (though it was a bit darker and took an entire day to dry). What with the drying time and the approaching deadline, this is where things got a bit rushed. Each coat needed 24 hours before I could sand it, so I went with a more abridged version of the process. Then, with the clear coat, I found a can of GitD Krylon clear coat, so of course I had to use it. I added another layer of normal clear coat over it, too. The issue was I didn't sand it that well, because I couldn't really see if I was sanding off too much. And I didn't want to tack many more days onto the project, because there was still something else that had to be done. Step 7: The Grand Finale Okay, so I had this pretty cool green Hau. But what made it special? What made it anything other than a model I just printed out and prettied up? I'll tell you what. ELECTRONICS! That's an Arduino UNO microcontroller board. And a bunch of wires and LEDs. Hopefully you can see where I'm going with this. spoiler: this is where I'm going with it With judicious help from my friend who is excellent at using a soldering iron (actually he kind of did pretty much all the work on the wiring itself) I set up a wiring system that led from the output pins of the board to the LEDs, which were positioned around the mask. Cool, yes, but not necessarily impressive. So I can make the mask light up, what's so mind-blowing about that? Well, when I put it like that, nothing really. Buuuut, fortunately, that's not all there is to it. See, the Arduino board has 14 output pins, numbered 0-13, which can be given separate outputs. This means that I could potentially have up to 14 LEDs attached, and each one could be controlled independently. But due to the configuration, I didn't want to use pins 0, 1 and 13. So that leaves 11 pins to use. Now, with that in mind, count how many parts of the mask you see lit up. another spoiler: there are nine spoiler #3: each one of those is run off its own pin, with the remaining two going toward making the mask look downright evil So, basically I have a mask that I can run light patterns on. Oh, and control from my iPod. See, the Arduino board can store programs on it, so that it can either loop through a process infinitely or react to certain inputs. If you have it plugged into a computer via the USB port, it can also receive serial messages. So basically what I did was set up a little control surface using the TouchOSC app on my iPod (costs $5, I think) that will send OSC messages to my computer over WiFi. They get read by a Processing sketch (Processing lets you write little Java applets, called sketches), which then sends serial messages through the USB to the Arduino board, which then interpret the messages in terms of what LEDs to turn on or off. This was all code that I had to figure out, and while I take little to no credit for it, I am so very happy that I managed to make it work. So, the result of all this is a green Hau with lights that I can remotely control with my iPod. I am very happy with the way it turned out, though it has quite a few problems. First off, I already removed the bike helmet straps I had used to wear it, because they did not work well, tending to squish my nose and not keep the mask up enough. Then, one of the cheek LEDs stopped working, which is likely because of either a disconnected wire or a short-circuit somewhere. Finally, the texture of the mask is just kind of blah. There are many pitted areas that I didn't properly sand down, and as a result the whole look of it is diminished. However, these should be relatively straightforward, if tedious, to fix. I think the entire wiring setup could use some cleaning up, really, but that's something to look forward to. Until then, remember: Kumo Rocks.
  4. I just discovered this idea on Cuusoo, and I didn't know if anybody here was aware of it or not. Somebody came up with the idea of having Hero Factory mask packs, just like the old Bionicle packs we know and love. I think this is a pretty great idea, and I'm not even a Hero Factory fan. What do you guys think? Here's the link: http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/18545# Sorry, I just realized I should have put this in Lego Discussion. Could someone move this over there if you see it? Thanks
  5. Title says it all. Mine was a blue Kaukau Nuva that I got from Gali Nuva, which was also my first set.
  6. Tahkron the Kanohi Hunter --- Tahkron is a member of a very mysterious species - the Kanohi Hunters. As you can probably guess, the KH have a tradition of hunting for... kanohi! And they like to wear them on their body as trophies. They can also wear them on their 'chin' to use their powers. Theoretically their minds can only control noble kanohi, but with proper training and experience they know how to use only so much power of a great one that doesn't overwhelm them. And there's no doubt that Tahkron, as the high chief of the Earth Clan, is very experienced. Pics (or didn't happen): Front: a little blurry D: Side: o_O it has a tail Back: and blurry wings too O_O No masks: blurry knees and arm The 'chin': looks like a blurry mata face That looks: a bit stupid (and blurry) Now time for a story: "The Decapitation" Tahu is unaware of his situation. Tahkron puts his Kakama on to escape quickly with a new trophy! I'm an awful storyteller ^ ^'
  7. I saw a thread recently about the Avolkii mask and thought you guys would like to see it.I won the mask 10 years ago and still have it today, ask me anything.http://i50.tinypic.com/24xq41w.jpg
  8. <p>Well in the books about metru Nui, the mask forgersMake it so carefully a hairline crack shouldn't show!Because otherwise the power can't flow through it,But doesn't that mean if you get a crack or a scratch from battle wouldn't it be the same bad?hmmm I vaugly remember the book saying something along the lines of "the slightest flaw would render the mask powerless" which makes me think if it only applies to the mask making Process or just in general.I just got another idea thanks to Makuta matatawhen the vahi had a crack in it on the seafloor the power was flowing out changing the time around it,but not only did the vahi do it but also the ignika!that got me thinking is that what happens when making a mask and you accidentally create a dimple?would a miru with a gouge just suddenly float up to space?but even more so are the masks in the protodermis reclamation yards, do they leak power before they hit the furnace?
  9. Something that has bugged me for a while regarding mask powers is the following: At least some of them have been stated to have a duration. In particular, the only difference between a Great and Noble Huna is the duration of their invisibility. The first thing I am wondering about is how this duration is measured. Is it a set time, or does it still depend on the user's willpower even after the initial Great/Noble difference? If the former, does the mask need to recharge/generate more power for itself? Can it then be activated while half-charged, for a shorter duration? If the latter, does the power simply become harder and harder to control as the duration increases due to your own mental fatigue? Would a user more easily lose focus after a certain amount of time?Personally, I lean towards the former, since Noble Kanohi are confirmed to have less power total, and so it doesn't make sense to me that they would wear your mind out quicker. The second thing I wonder about is if every mask has a duration. Now, if the duration limit comes from the user's fatigue forcing them to let go of the power eventually, then it would make sense that every mask has a limit. Tahu had trouble keeping the Vahi in check, for example, but to me that seemed more like the danger of losing control rather than the inability to keep the mask going at all. Losing control of the Vahi could cause a lot of crazy stuff to happen, while losing control of a Huna would likely just make the viewer visible again. If the duration is inherent to the mask and the energy it uses, then we have the question of how long any mask can be sustained. A Ruru (night vision) would likely draw very little power, since it just allows your eyes to more easily sense light. The Great version can shine like a flashlight when used to its full extent, though, so we must consider that this additional power usage could potentially make the "batteries" (of either the mask or the user's mind) run out quicker. :)We also have such things as the Nuva masks, which have greatly expanded capabilities, at least in the sharing aspect. Sharing a power would naturally use some extra energy (and extra mind power), but would it shorten the duration, or is the Nuva masks capable of sustaining themselves just as well even when used at full power?I don't expect the answers to be readily available (or else I wouldn't ask ), but I find it interesting to discuss the exact limits of Kanohi usage.
  10. I had a random thought on how a Bionicle character would create diamond. Since diamond is made with heat and pressure, I figured a Toa of Fire wearing a Kanohi Garai could take a lump of charcoal and heat it while increasing the gravity around it to quickly and easily create diamond. What do you think?
  11. Hey all, I'm doing some concept art from my upcoming webcomic Gamebreak and figured I'd post it here. I won't be the one doing the final illustrations as I'm simply too busy, but I'm helping design the characters. (If you're interested in doing actual illustrations, PM me. No seriously, there's money involved.)The comic is about six friends who are stuck in this big video game called MUlate and there's crazy time travel and alternate time-line stuff blah blah blah. Whatever. Here's a character, Dario Roland. His online name is Aristocrack. He belongs in the Tank class, which is sort of a defender class, and has the power of strength. Even though his class doesn't actually matter for the story. He's a top tier player of his faction, which is RED FACTION. In real life, his parents are very quite wealthy, but there is some disconnect there. He's best friends with the "main" character Aden, and their relationship plays a huge part in the story we're slating. Yes I know his hammer is different in two different photos, we're still trying to decide on a design. The style is minimalistic, and typically lineless. Anybody who is familiar with Homestuck (or maybe even BZPstuck which btw is amazing) will be familiar with said style; at least for the "action" sequences in those comics. Anyways, just thought I'd put this up here, see what people thought about the character. Personally, I love his mask, and the fact that he wears a nice suit yet has those shoes instead of dress ones.
  12. Which Kanohi Mask would you want to have? (Also no picking Legendary masks like the mask of shadows, mask of light, mask of life, mask of time, mask of demensions etc. because it's the first obvious choice)I would pick the Kanohi Shelek, the mask of Silence (So I can rob my brother of the ability to speak , or rob my mom of the ability to hear me while I'm plotting to destroy the world).P.S. CHOOSE REAL CANON MASKS. Not made up one's please!
  13. So, this is just an odd idea I had while looking at the old Mata head design. Down on the lower cheek area (just under the long mouth ridge), there's these two little hemispherical indents as you can see here:So, BS01 says that Which I've usually seen and assumed to attach on their cheeks, so I was wondering, would anyone have liked it if, instead of the weak, annoying Mata socket on the masks, there were magnets inside those cheek areas, holding the mask on? It probably would have the same effect as the Mata socket when playing that little "Knock their masks off" game from '01-'03, but might have been a bit more expensive, and maybe had more legal warnings and such. So, is this a feasable, or safe, idea? Do you think Lego ever thought about it? Would it have continued on in later years, or just evolved a new way to do it?
  14. This has been a big question on my mind for a while, why does the kraahkan have two faces? I believe the serpentine head is the cannon verson, but the face with the big forehead just looks weird. Does anyone know why they put that there?
  15. I watched Bionicle: Mask of Light for the first time in ages, and I noticed something. Onua is described on BS01 as quiet and wise, yet the way he was portrayed in he movie, he did not seem that way at all. Has anyone else notices this? Why do you think this is?

  17. There are many Kanohi powers in Bionicle, but there are still many powers left to use. You can put your own origional mask power ideas here. You can also give it a name, picture, fight scenario, or anything else you feel nessisary. Please, keep them origional. Here are a few ideas of mine, but since I may use them my epic, they are under a spoiler tag.
  18. Okay, I was wondering, since the Faxon can"mimic the powers of Rahi that share their general environment,"According to Biosector01 (quotes not working!), then in theory, could Hahli Mahri or Lesovikk surface, and mimic the power of air breathing, temporarily reversing their mutation?
  19. Did the Barraki have Kanohi masks and acess to their powers? Did they have powers, for that matter? Anything that would help me to understand this is very helpful.
  20. This is a thing I've always been wondering about: could be it possible? I mean, the fact a Mask could handle two Powers at the same time? In better words, could a Toa be "double powered", which means he/she could use two Powers?I know it sounds kinda absurde, but, as for what I know, it's never been explained. I think it is possible, but I could be also wrong, eh.I don't know if you understand what I mean, so in case of doubt ask me.
  21. It surprises me this hasn't been made yet.Title speaks for itself.I personally think the 2008 Akaku was a pretty lame excuse for a kopaka mask.First of all, they switched the place of the telescopic eye. Wa's up wit da?!Also, it doesnt quite have the complex feel that the original Akaku, or the organic/bionic feel of the akaku nuva.Altogether, it was a disappointment.
  22. Well the title says it all. What is your favorite mask power?
  23. This is the topic where you can discuss the mask of time!Just to get you started, here is a small question to sizzle your brain:If the Vahi was created in "the time before time", then how could it possibly function?
  24. OUTDATED! New topic here: http://www.bzpower.com/board/index.php?showtopic=4113Hello and welcome! >>>BACK!!! V2.0! Yup, finally got around to re-posting my topic after the major forum downtime. So, here we go again! Once upon a time I was a very dedicated Bionicle collector, and a Lego master builder extraordinaire (or at least I like to think so ) and over the years I purchased a great deal of Lego until I had a very near complete Bionicle collection. My plan with these is to randomly slip them into sets that they relate to So don't be surprised if your Toa comes with an extra mask, or your Visorak has a few extra Spinners. However, I do understand that many people are looking for specific collectibles to complete their collection. So if you are looking for something specific, please ask and I will let you know if I have it. Edit I have decided to list my rare collectables.Three(3) gold Vahi (Mask of Time) $13 each ONE SOLD!Three(3) Disks of Time $3A sparkly clear Avohkii $3One(1) Shadow Kraata (Power level 4)$7A Copper Noble Huna $7Here is a pictureDamaged setsThree of my sets are ever so slightly damaged. Not in any way that they cannot be built, but I have lowered the price of both sets to compensate for this. The first is Lesovikk. The problem is that two of his arm/leg joints have cracked slightly at the socket. I have a few pictures below, hopefully you can see the problem. You can still get his arms together, even if it does look like it's going to break.PICTURE PICTUREThe same problem occurred with Toa Ignika, this time it happened three times, once to one socket, and twice to another. Again, I have included pictures and again, it doesn’t really do anything besides give you a scare when connecting his arms together.PICTURE PICTUREA rather unfortunate accident involving Kopaka (Toa Mata) occurred very recently. In a turn of events that I don't fully understand, his sword was snapped into two clean pieces. Lucky superglue works extremely well on Lego pieces, and the sword is repaired. The small crack in the blade can only be noticed upon close examination. However, like the other sets, price has been knocked down because of this.SOLD!PICTURE PICTURESuccessful Trades (Out of date. Once I have received payment, I will ship your order.#2 I require that you pay for any shipping costs that may apply. Also, while I can ship out of the USA, the shipping cost is so much that I would not recommend that anyone do this.#3 I live in the USA and therefore will only accept USD as payment. My preferred method of payment is Paypal, however I will accept cash or check sent by mail (Send at your own risk!).#4 If you would like, I can hold an item for you for ONE WEEK, after which I will sell it to the next offer.#5 I am not responsible for any items that become damaged during shipment. So far I have not encountered any problems, and I do my best to pack things in a way were they will be safe during travel. If you have ANY questions what so ever, would like to see pictures of individual sets, or would like to offer a slightly lower price for a set, please send me a PM and I will be more than happy to help! *Says like Vakama in MoL* Let the tournament begin!
  25. So in 2008, I started writing my own BIONICLE story saga. Very basic at first, but as time went on and I got some inspiration, it exploded into this: The Legacy Chronicles.Well, it's been a year since I laid the story to rest, so now is probably as good a time as ever to do a MOC showcase. In this topic, I'm going to showcase my Toa MOCs from the series. Please note that these are all at least fourteen months old - some are even four years old - and I have no intention of going back and upgrading/rebuilding them. I'm merely showing you all what I spent a few years of my childhood on. For the Legacy Chronicles, and its many characters, this is the end. IhuOriginal form, Pit Armour, First Upgrade, Sword of the Great Spirit, BlueSpace Upgrade, Final Upgrade, TuragaThe saga's main character. Ihu was originally killed in Ko-Metru by a Nui-Rama attack, orchestrated by Makuta Tyrex, who had a vision of Ihu becoming some kind of "super-Toa". Another Makuta, Locuz, collected Ihu's remains and secretly resurrected him, using a portion of his own life-force. Ihu was also made a Toa, but one with all of Locuz's Makuta powers, as well as being totally immortal. He travels from the Pit to Karda Nui, to Irania Nui and Bara Magna, and even into the middle of deep space to try and stop both Teridax and the Disciples of Vradok from fulfiling their "destinies".Ihu wears a Great Mask of Shielding and originally carried a Sub Zero Blaster, which he exchanged for two Energized Ice Swords. These later merged into a single blade. As part of his final upgrade, his Hau was fitted with an eyepiece which grants him telescopic, thermal imaging, atomic and X-ray vision.Upon becoming a Turaga, his elemental Ice powers and his Makuta powers greatly diminished, and he lost his immortality. His sword became a Staff of Ice.AmayaMatoran, ToaSome time after Teridax's takeover, Amaya, a Ga-Matoran, became a Toa of Water, and joined the Water Council.Back when she had lived in Ga-Metru (the first time) she and Ihu had been deeply romantically...involved, and she had been devastated by his death. Strangely, upon becoming a Toa, some of her memories from this time were restored, and so she had very mixed feelings when she met Ihu again on New Krano Nui, the Water Council's moving base. During their mission on Spherus Magna, to stop Vashkov from finding the Cavern of Eternity, they became very close again, but were almost separated when Ihu nearly killed himself trying to stop a huge nuclear explosion of the Cavern's power. However, things worked out well in the end, and Ihu and Amaya became Turaga together.Amaya wears a Great Mask of Mind Control and carries a Fishing Spear and a Protosteel shield. Upon becoming a Turaga, her powers greatly diminished, and her tools became a Staff of Water, her badge of office.KaraelMatoran, ToaOriginally a journalist in Av-Iarn, the Irania Nui District of Light, Karael was transformed into a Toa for his bravery in a battle against a malicious Matoran called Ikov. He would continue to battle Ikov, and his Toa-sized alter-ego Vashkov, from the time of the Rising until the reforming of Spherus Magna. He wears a Great Mask of Quick-Travel and carries twin Sun Sabers. And no, I'm afraid I couldn't find any better images.GelikMatoran, ToaTransformed at the same time as Karael, Gelik is a Toa of Lightning. In her first day, she managed to stop a rampage of a group of huge wild Rahi, and later defeated (and accidentally killed, by dropping a stone tree on) Kreix, one of the most powerful villains in Vradok's army.Gelik wears a Great Mask of Strength and carries a Lightning Scythe.HalokOriginal Form, UpgradeUntil the Toa Krano came along, Halok was the sole Toa of Irania Nui, and he exceled at his job. He as so skilled at using his element, Air, that he could practically fly, but used a jetpack most of the time to aid his flight. During the battle against Vashkov, he recieved an upgrade from Turaga Lome, the Turaga of Irania Nui.Halok wears a Great Mask of Illusion and carries a whole host of weapons, from sticky bombs to zamor launchers, but his favourite and most commonly used Toa tool is a Laser Axe.JuulocMatoran, Toa, Helryx's bodyguardOriginally Turaga Lome's bodyguard, Juuloc accidentally became a Toa when Makuta Tyrex posed as a Turaga, acting while Lome was missing. The two of them engaged in a lengthy battle, in which Juuloc melted Tyrex's armour together and thoroughly trashed him. Juuloc later helped defeat Vashkov's forces in the lost city of Onu-Iarn, and eventually became Toa Helryx's bodyguard.Juuloc wears a Great Mask of Valor, which grants him shielding, strength and speed. Before becoming Helryx's bodyguard, he carried a sword, which he later exchanged for a staff and shield.Toa KranoFrucas, Toa of Fire, Miran, Toa of Gravity, Covoc, Toa of Stone, Kuro, Toa of Ice, Kurek, Toa of PlantlifeLed to believe that, fifty years ago, their island was destroyed and their people massacred, the Toa Krano were welcomed to Irania Nui, where they joined Halok as its guardians. Later, they would discover that their people had been taken hostage by a being called the Sygran, and so set off back into the Matoran Universe to the island of Isakrah, where they came face-to-face with the Bringer of Pain himself. Frucas was killed, but Covoc donned the Kanohi Aethra, the Mask of Protection, and was able to defeat the Sygran, leaving him for dead in the middle of some lava fields. They then set off on board the New Krano Nui, a ship built by the Water Council, and left for Bara Magna, where the Water Council were needed.KarahnGalleryWhen he was a Ta-Matoran crafter, Karahn boasted that he could recreated the Spear of Fusion. He succeeded, but upon becoming a Toa, it fused itself to his hand. Every now and then, the Spear goes a little wild, and he was cast out of his village for accidentally killing several Toa and Matoran using the Spear's power.Eventually, he learned how to control the Spear, and was drafted into the Water Council. He joined Ihu and Amaya on their quest across Bara Magna.Karahn wears a Great Mask of Stealth and carries a Spear of Fusion duplicate.VohanGalleryIn his universe, Vohan started as a Ta-Matoran called Vohon, who discovered the Vahi in Tahu Nuva' suva just before they all moved to Metru Nui. Somehow, it transformed him into a Toa of Time, and he was propelled acros the space/time continuum, until he reached the Prime Reality. Here, 40,000 years ago, he joined the Order of Mata Nui, but later "retired". He was drafted back in by Frydax during the Destiny War.Vohan wears a Vahi Nuva, a Kanohi Nuva Mask of Time, and carries a Staff of Time, as well as a zamor launcher that also allows him to focus pure elemental time energy into powerful blasts of energy.VolatileToa, Mid-possessionAn experiment by the BoM, Volatile was turned from a Ga-Matoran into a Toa of Water, Ice and Shadow. She also possessed the power to teleport, levitate and see in the dark. During a mission to Jydivia in the Destiny War, she was possessed by Vradok's spirit. She killed several members of the Order and Brotherhood alike, before being destroyed by Frydax, who used a special syringe given to him by Angonce to split Vradok from Volatile. Volatile was killed, but Vradok's spirit moved on...Volatile wore a Great Mask of Sight, which allowed her to see anything on the same terrestrial plane as her, and carried two Shadow Blades.Other ToaHelryx, leader of the Order of Mata NuiBojek, Toa of Light from an alternate universeChiron, Toa of Iron from Fort KohydroxVyleck, rogue Toa of FireThose are all the main Toa characters. Others were mentioned and stuff, but most of them were MOCs belonging to friends. Keep checking back for the next topic, which will probably be the Order of Mata Nui and the Water Council!-JREdit: Main image thumbnailed due to dimensions and file size.
