Got my final exam results yesterday. We have got a 15 points system for the secondary level here in Germany, with 15 being the best and 0 the worst result. Here's what I got: German - 10 points (apparently the correctors were very harsh in this subject... some people entered the exams with an average of 13 points and left it with a result of 6 points) Math - 5 points (oh well, that was to be expected) English - 15 points (was to be expected, too) Spanish - 15 points (this really surprised and delighted me) Now I have to prepare my presentation exam, which will take place on the June 24.

I'll just come right out and say it: it was the stuff of nightmares. Remember that XKCD strip where the guy was in class and they had a pop test, and he had no idea what to do, and it turned out it was all a dream? That would be my weekend, except it wasn't a dream. Sure, I knew the concepts, but in Calculus-based Physics, concepts isn't enough. It's the cruelest form of problem solving known to man, and combine that with my (general) inability to solve problems (whether real or conceptual) right the first time... *sigh* I just hope I can still pass.

Just found my likes and dislikes of the day: Likes: - BrickLink: far better than BZP Marketplace if looking for certain collectibles - LEGO Customer Service: ordered a Gold Ignika from there today. It was quite expensive (4.58 €), but that price already includes shipping and the woman on the phone was very friendly, plus she remembered my name from the order mail (unless she faked that, but then she'd be a good liar). Dislike: - A certain man in black.

Yeah, I doubt most of you know about those. I know that sounds like the Golden Cheese of Awesomeness or something like that, but don't be fooled. I'm getting one tomorrow and it will be due on Tuesday. Most likely? I will be literally working on it the whole weekend. Still though, I can say that they're a little bit better than have to take an exam in only an hour's time, but I don't know if I can stay in my room for three days straight doing Physics problems. And I see Hero Factory has touched down on American soil. I hope Smeag and DV can get their hands on them soon - we're overdue for a review from one of them - especially DV. Oh, and lastly, clickety-click.

I forgot to mention: today's moving day for me. It's only down the street to another apartment though (less than a half-mile away), and it's still on campus. As an upper-classman, I have to move to the designated upper-classmens group of apartments. It only a two-bedroom though, which I like (I'm currently in a four-bedroom). I haven't even begun gathering my stuff up to put in my car though. At any rate, that's pretty much my day for today. In other news, you should allow Aho to brighten your day.

At the end of this past semester, I ran for an Officer position for an engineering organization that I'm a part of. I won, which is cool, and I'll now have a lot on my plate as my position involves a lot of writing (official title is Secretary), which will... hopefully be cool. That's the only update I have for right now. Please fill out the survey I posted if you haven't already.

Not much has changed in Emzeeland. I'm still in school, for one. In fact, I'm taking two summer courses because I'm behind. There's the Electromagnetism (Physics) class (with its lab as well), and Linear Algebra. I really don't know how to describe Linear Algebra other than "an alternative way of playing with numbers". You take this after Calculus I, but the subject itself isn't really based on Calculus. Like I said, it's a different way of working with numbers completely. Money is still tight, but as long as I keep getting approved on loans, I should be able to get my Software Engineering degree, and hopefully, a good job that will help me pay back my impending dues quickly. So, how goes it with you guys?

Which is better... or (: ? EDIT: Also, this appears to be my 700th blog entry. Yay? One would think I'd have done something better for this momentous entry. But hey, I guess I'm just disappointing. -Nuju Metru

It was long overdue, but now all outdated links have been removed. And prankin' people is fun, especially when everyone beliefs the stuff you're telling them. And even more so on the Internet, were misinformation spreads rapidly. xD

This weekend is full of plays... Friday night was the play of my old Middle School, Fiddler On The Roof which was really good. Last night was another musical that I attended to see a good friend in. And then tonight, I'm required to see a production for my school theater department, which happens tonight... 3 in as many days. In similar news, first Guys and Dolls rehearsal is tomorrow, and I'm pumped. In unrelated news, way too many people are leaving the BZPRPG lately... Not cool. That pretty much cut the community of good, experienced players in half. :/ In other unrelated news, kittens are out to get you. ALL OF YOU. -Nuju Metru

... to caption Andrew's picture. It's clearly begging for it! Unfortunately, I don't think I'm witty enough. Regardless, I imagine someone will eventually.

I'm not sure who bundled up their snow and shipped it to Texas (I'm thinking it was Andrew, but I'm not sure), but thanks! No classes today.

Really not sure if I'm going to watch it or not. If my friends have something planned, then I'll probably end up joining them. As my Staff Bio says, I don't really watch sports (or TV in general), so I'm not as hyped about it as some other people here are. Yeah, this was just a ramble entry. You guys got any plans tonight?

Why is it that I always seem to be able to help, or try to help others, but can never even summon the courage to help myself? -Nuju Metru

I just received my Cambridge CAE marks (Certificate in Advanced English). The overall mark is A, and I got 85% correct. This is how I did in the various parts of the examination: I was surprised about the listening part, though - I would have thought my writing was worst (not because of my style, no, but because of the contents - I almost missed the subject I was supposed to write about).
