  1. Our war... Our Battle... I'm Their Only Hope... "A Pilot Story" By: Lehvorak A huge claw came crashing down towards me as I dodged just in time before it smashed my head. KRA-BAM! "Whoa... that was a close one..." As I try to regain my ground, coming from behind me was a mechanical being in white and light blue armor who held a long pure white sword. Well, to tell you the truth, this being is one of my companions. Just after my poor actions, he then gave me a bit of scolding due to my foolishness in battle. I should have been more careful. "Careful Nami, remember... the Manas are one of the most dangerous Rahi yet to come over to this side of the universe!" Well, it is nice for my friend to be a bit concerned for my safety nowadays... and if I did stay there for a second longer, I would have become Rahi bones... That would have been unpleasant. At that moment the icy wind was blowing at my face, which was a bit uncomfortable, and I could feel the pain on my body... It is like a thousand knives piercing my sides. I tried to clutch it, but it began to burn like fire. Appearing out of my amulet and heading by my side, came out a sprite, which appeared to be a miniature Toa of Fire who seemed concerned for my own safety. "Are you hurt? Maybe, we need to back down from this Nami... Not even you and Rin can handle this..." My body was telling me to stop, but my mind told me to continue on no matter what happens... these battles has to end once and for all, we have to continue fighting. "No I'm fine Tahu... let's finish this... together..." "Hmph- fine by me then." I have to show my Toa spirit avatar friend that I can do this... even though I am only human... . . . You must be wondering what is going on here…? I guess I can tell you… My name is Nami Tsukimiya your average high school girl who was supposed to live an average high school life... but how did I get involved in this mess? Fighting these huge creatures known as Rahi… Aside from that, there are beings known as Toa and Matoran… The good thing is the Toa and Matoran are the friendly ones here, kind of like us humans… the other beings are just iffy… To tell you the truth... it is a long story, but all I can say is… This started from the very day I met Rin Hitsugaya, who I thought was your average high school delinquent… well, I was wrong about the average part… He is actually a part-organic, and part-machine being with a soul... Excuse me what?!? Yes, one must be wondering what do you mean by that? At first, I didn't know what to think of because that made no sense at all... but I grew to sort of understand it... Well, kind of... I guess I thought of them as robots, but that was still the wrong answer... Because he is a Toa… a supposed to be hero/protector person of justice for the will of this Mata Nui person… Like I’m supposed to believe that? Well, I had no choice, but to believe what they were saying because during that first meet, he had to protect me… and is still protecting me. It is interesting that he and many other Bionic beings are all here in the human world, but cloaking their true forms with Human DNA with a self-masking shield that hides their real bodies. This is kind of funny because this is similar to a certain toyline for boys. It basically involves cars turning into robots, but this is like humans turning into robots… Now, the next question is why are they here? To answer that... they are here to protect this world from the stray and evil beings from their world by sending them back or destroying them once and for all. Also, they are here to find a way to close the link between both our worlds... Which, no one knows how… As you can see, what happened was… there was a cataclysmic disaster that occurred that connected both the Bionicle Universe and Human Universe together by accident... messing the rift in both time and space... and so on... Yadda yadda... Now, you must be wondering how a human like myself got involved in all this? I can simply answer that by saying it started when I retrieved a certain amulet of power. Who knows what this amulet is… because it gave me the abilities of the 6 famous Toa Mata. Not only that I gained their powers… I can even use their wisdom by talking to them in person. It is because they accompany me in a form of an avatar. And… I can’t remove this amulet off me… This very object had curs- I mean… it somehow did some kind of set-up for me to contract myself into helping them bring balance between the 2 universes and to help close the rift. With the help of the Toa and my newly found power(s)... we should have no problem in winning and closing the rift... well easy said than done... There are a lot of complications to that… Some of the evil coming from somewhere… is causing the rift to get bigger… and I believe that evil is no other being but Makuta Teridax… master of shadows. Thanks to him, both Rin and I have been going on many goose chases fighting many of his soldiers/minions who keeps coming here into my world… the human world… We're never going to let him win... never... and we can end this, right now… thanks to some resources; we found his lair, and hopefully we can defeat him once and for all. . . . These Manas we are facing right now are minions of Teridax, well one of his elite Rahi soldiers... and behind the gates they are guarding has to be Teridax himself! Because it makes sense if these minions keep putting up a fight like this, it is clearly showing us they are guarding something important! As we continued our battle with the manas, that was when I noticed an opening from their defenses. “Rin, use your Ice powers to give us a buffer time... I got an idea!” “Uh- sure…” As Rin used his elemental powers to hold off the Rahi, I quickly glanced at my Toa avatar, Tahu. I need to use a different elemental power if we want to win this fight… luckily we are underground. “Get me Onua now Tahu!” I shouted. “Sure… whatever…” The good thing is with my Amulet, I can use it to hold the 6 elements of the Toa and use any of their powers, but I can only use one certain element individually when I mode change… The mini floating Toa of fire quickly disappeared and switched off with the Toa of Earth. <<Mode Change: Onua>> “You called Nami?” “Yeah- I need to use some earth powers.” “You got it!” With Onua, I can use earth elemental powers, and using it underground is going to give me a huge advantage… I hope… That was when one huge drill formed around Nami’s left arm and a mole-like claw appeared on her right. Now it gave her a chance to use her earth abilities. “Rin, get out of the way! I’m ready now!” she shouted. “Got it!” Jumping away. I quickly launched a magnitude forward at our foes, which caught them off guard, delaying their movements. That was when I quickly switched to my claws to control the earth underneath some of the creatures, knocking them up in the air and into the ceiling. I then yelled at the top of my lungs with my battle cry as I clashed my weapons with my foes. This attack strategy did break up their defense and that made me feel proud. We can do this! We just need to keep up the pace! BAM! Smacking me off my feet by surprise was one of the Manas. I’ll get him back… I just need to switch elemental powers. “Mode change! Pohatu!” <<Mode Change: Pohatu>> “I’m here sister! Let’s rock…” “That was a horrible pun Pohatu…” “I know…” I quickly initiated my stone powers to engulf the Manas, creating a tomb, crushing several of them. That was when one of the Manas noticed my trick and began to charge at me from behind. I’m surrounded… NO- There is no time to dodge… is this it for me? CLANK! BAM! BOOM! It happened too quickly… all I did was closed my eyes… -Am I dead? Before my eyes I saw something blocking the gigantic Manas… It was Rin who stood his ground as his blade began to grind at the creature’s huge claws. “I got your back…” “Thanks.” “Now… Nami go for the door!” “Right!” There is a huge opening now… I can sprint it! I ran as fast as possible, but standing before me were 2 more Manas. “OUT OF THE WAY!!!” I quicky created a wall of pure granite, but the creatures broke through it like a fragile twig. As I pivoted off to the side, they seem to do almost the same thing and were still in front of me… “What is up with these guys…?” Warning me, Pohatu floated in front of me and said, “I would be careful sister! These guys are no pushovers…” “I think I know that…” It was like they were mirroring my movements… They continued to follow my every move, which was very frustrating. I launched a boulder at them, but they were able to dodge it- “C’mon…” This is hard shaking them off and now I can’t even- That was when one of them slashed across my body… I didn’t even see them… How were they that fast? “AHHH!!!!” As I screamed in pain I could still feel the cold metal of the claw clashing at my body. They continued to slash at me, slowing me down. Again they hit me… until a spear-like object stabbed right through my body. -This pain… it hurts so much… I- I- “NAMI!!!” I could barely hear my name as everything began to fade black… what’s going on? Did I finally meet my match? Everything began to flash before my eyes as the adrenaline kicked in as I fell backwards. Is it finally over for me? The pain… it’s like- “DON’T GIVE UP YET!!!” Right then, Rin was by my side swinging his blade at the 2 Manas. It was happening too quickly, I don’t even know who was even winning… That was when one of them was cut in half; as for the other one was a struggle to beat. It looked like Rin had pure hatred on his face as he faced off the last Manas. “HOW DARE YOU HURT HER!!! YOU’LL PAY!!!” He quickly shifted his sword and jabbed it straightforward at its face. Screaming with all his might as he pierced through the metallic body of the gigantic crab-like creature. Is it over? Everything was dim- I lay there limp only feeling pain… It hurts so much- Right by my side floated Pohatu who was trying to help me get up on my feet, but his small body and frail chibi arms wasn’t helping at all. “Nami, get up!” I looked at my avatar friend and just frowned… “I can’t Pohatu… it hurts…” As he gave out a long sigh, he crossed his arms and frowned at me. “C’mon! You have to… both your world and my world needs your help now.” Trying not to make eye contact, I laid there staring off into the distance. But- how can a girl like myself help? I’m just- I’m just an ordinary high school girl- It was hopeless, no matter what I do I’m always going to be a weak human, how can I stand up against these guys? They are just too strong… why did they pick me to help them? I’m not good enough… “Get up!” Picking me up from the ground was Rin’s hand. This caught me off guard. “We got to work together, c’mon we’re almost there… No matter who you are, it is what you do that makes you a hero. You were chosen to do this and I believe in you… you don’t have to struggle alone… Like what I said, let’s finish this together.” These words from Rin kind of surprised me because he never really spoke like that before… was this a dream? That was when I felt something suiting and cool that that made contact with the wounds of my body. What was it? It felt like jelly, but it isn’t… “This should help you…” I started to feel a lot better than before all thanks to something- “What did you do to me?” I asked Rin “Just gave you a medicine that will heal your wounds.” “Uh-“ I blushed. “Thank you Rin…” “No problem…” As I got myself up together again, a loud thundering sound echoed throughout the cave. There, creaking open was the very door we were trying to reach, and standing there was a huge black being with red eyes with a big smirk on his face. “Ah- so you finally come to face me…? The ruler of shadows!” Uh oh- I didn’t expect him to really be there… I guess it is now or never- Stepping forward, Teridax took out his huge blade, which looked 50 ft. long and that smile on his face is just terrifying. “I shall warn you that I cannot be beaten, for I am nothing and you cannot defeat nothing…” With my clenched fists, I felt ready this time… after all the pain he has given us in my world… in my own town… Teridax is going down… “Even though I am just human… you are going down Teridax… and that is final…” “Oh really? For a human, you seem like more of a rodent that must be squashed quickly… prepare yourself, for this shall be your very end…” “We’ll see about that…” Both Rin and I charged at the terrifying Teridax with all our might. “Nami, circle him on the right!” “Got it!” Rin quickly used his ice sword and slashed forward at the dark being, but his sword went right through him like it was an empty hunk of armor. I then stomped my foot on the ground sending a barrage of rocks at Teridax, but it didn’t do any damage on him. Laughing maniacally Teridax extended his arm and knocked Rin into one of the walls. “Are you okay?” “I’m fine- WATCH OUT!” warned Rin. That was when a huge tentacle shot straight at me- and at the nick of time I quickly used mode change. <<Mode Change: Tahu>> “TAHU SHIELDS!!!” “Got it!” Just in time a barrier came up around me blocking Teridax’s attack. “Clever little gafna… no matter, I still cannot be defeated by likes of you.” “We’ll see about this… Makuta…” as I charged up a huge fireball and prepared to chuck it. Teridax himself also prepared an energy ball of shadow... It looks like he might try to counter my attack… good then. We’ll keep fighting… Just when I felt like my energy was all charged up, I then launched my fireball as he launched his shadow ball. We will bring balance to both worlds… The two energies then collided causing a huge explosion… and out of the smoke the two of us charged at each other. “NAMI WATCH OUT!” warned Rin. “NOW DIE!!!” roared Teridax as he swung his sword. Because we have to… <<Mode Change: Lewa>> “I got this…” I then flew up in the air just before Teridax swung his sword. That was when Lewa’s axe appeared in my hands. “This should quick swift beat him! I hope...” said Lewa. “You better be right, Lewa…” I quickly gripped tight on it and prepared to crash down on Teridax’s head. It is my destiny to save both our universes… “TAKE THIS TERIDAX!!!” as I crashed down on Teridax’s head. “WHAT!?! IT CANNOT BE!!!” I am the only hope they have… To Be Concluded…

  3. NAMI By: LehvorakChapter 1 A Day in a Life...It is another day for a 14 year old high school girl name, Nami Tsukimiya. Being a first year student in Mito High School with hundreds of homework everyday and reports due the next day. This isn't a big problem for her because she is able to handle all this stress, but a certain male classmate is the reason why her normal way of school life has turned upside down due to wild events that never happen to her before. The question is, what she is getting herself into and what lies ahead in her future... ***On a daily basis of Nami's life, she begins her day by preparing breakfast for her family and cleans the house before she leaves for school. As she finishes the preparations, she quickly removes her cooking apron and heads upstairs to the rooms of her siblings; With great joy, she intends to wake them up for school. She first heads into a big pink colored room full of stuffed animals which belongs to her little sister, Yuri. As she slowly sneaks into her room, she slowly opens the blinds of the window letting the bright sun shine into the room."Onee-chan... that's too bright!!!" complained Yuri as she covers herself with the warm bedsheets, shielding herself from the sun.Grabbing on to the bedsheets, Nami tugs them off which forced her little sister to wake up. "C'mon Yuri, it is about time to wake up for school. You should be used to this already..." urged Nami as she prepares Yuri's uniform for the day and realizes how stubborn her little sister was acting. From then, she decided to give her sister a choice so she could wake up saying, "Fine, you can wake up Jin today."Yuri immediately opens her eyes with excitement, and astoundingly she got up and dashed right out off her room with no sign of sleepiness."I guess she was excited to wake up Jin." smiled Nami as she heard a loud shriek from Jin's room."YURI!!! STOP! !!! AHHHHH! !!!" yelled Jin in pain as he dashed out off his room and into the room of Yuri's where Nami was fixing the bed."Ha! I got you! That makes us even from the last prank you did," taunted Yuri as she walked right in smiling at her victory.Irritated, but finally awake, Jin gave a huge sigh and mumbled, "Fine, you win..." as he moaned, he thought of a way to get her back as he saw her walking his way. "But, take this!!!" Jin swiftly trips his little sister, laughing at his treachery.Watching the two quarrel early in the morning was enough to get Nami frustrated. Being annoyed is one thing, but for 10 minutes nonstop is a hassle. She immediately stops her sibblings quarrel by whacking them both in the head painfully with her bare fists. This was no big surprise for her two siblings, as they rubbed their aching heads mumbling how painful her fists were."you guys need to hurry up and get dress! Don't forget we have school today," warned Nami crossing her arms. With no hesitation, Yuri and Jin nodded and headed into their rooms to get dressed. The chaos has finally ended for the morning, so it was a relief that it was over for now. It feels like every morning ends with Nami finishing off her siblings' arguement with her own iron fists, but she doesn't mind being the mature one in the family. After watching her siblings head into their rooms, she just remembered that her older brother was slow in dressing, so she had to help him rush as fast as possible.Hesitantly, she enters her brother's trashed room. On the floors, there were clothes, stains everywhere, and the desk was full of paper junk and leftovers from late night snacks. This was more of a junkyard than a room."Jin... How many times do I have to remind you to clean up after yourself..." scolded Nami. "If you could at least clean your room for once... I would be happy to call you Onii-san..."Jin dazed off for a bit and looked at his sister and smiled. "You are always thoughtful Nami, that is what I like about you," complimented Jin as he stretched his arms."Just hurry up and dress..." sighed Nami as she reached in his closet and handed him his school uniform. "Don't forget, you have a test on Pre-Calc today.""You can head off to school before me, I have to finish off a couple of things before I go," said Jin as he began removing his pajamas and replacing them with his school uniform.Nami nodded and walked out off the room, but quickly warns her brother saying, "You know if you could've woken up earlier... you would've enjoyed a nice early morning bath." Then heads out in the hallway and down the stairs where she met up with her younger sister. As she looked at her young sister, she noticed she was cute as always wearing her cute middle school uniform who was just sitting there at the table eating her breakfast. As Yuri ate her breakfast, she saw her older sister, Nami headeing out to the front door."Just be sure you finish your breakfast Yuri, I'm going now. Bye! Bye!" said Nami putting on her shoes and grabbing her school bag.Watching off her older sister leave, Yuri quickly got up and helped open the door and smiled at her older sister. Nami quickly thanked her as she headed out.It is another regular day walking to school, like always thought Nami as she walked down the side walk passing by her neighbor's house. There was a nearby alley next to the house, but Nami paid no attention to it. As she continued down the path, there stood an intersection where she has to turn right. From there she goes face to face with a steep hill where her High School is located. She and other students always walk up this hill every morning, but the only good thing about walking up this hill is the current season right now especially the wonderful smell of flowers. The warm feeling of spring always brightens the mood, unlike the cold harsh winter season which Nami hates. While walking alone up the hill she remembered a song from the television and started whistling the soothing melody as she stared up at the sky."Nami!!!" yelled a female voice interrupting her relaxing moment. "WAIT UP!!!"Looking back, was a red-headed tomboyish girl who wore the same high school uniform as Nami. She wore a pink bow on top of her head and was very energetic. As the tomboyish girl got closer, Nami smiled and greeted her saying, "Good morning Saya, I see you must be having a great morning. Did something happen last night?" When she asked that question, Nami noticed from the corner of her eye was some shadowed figure going through the wall of a building. This was something that bothered her, and wondered if it was a stalker."Yeah! Guess what... Chad asked me out!" squealed Saya joyfully as she hugged Nami tightly, squeezing the life out of her."Saya...can you let go...I can't breathe..." choked Nami as she struggled to get free."Whoops! Sorry about that Nami, I forgot you can't survive my super hugs!" apologized Saya. "Well, we better hurry to school! So let's go! GO! GO! !!!"After onwarding them to go full speed up the hill, Saya immediately storms off in a matter of seconds, not giving any time for Nami to catch up. "SAYA! WAIT FOR ME!!!" The two friends began to race up the hill like it was a marathon, but a certain shadow continued to watch them until they were no longer seen from the horizon."A shroud is upon us... and I will be it's instrument..." whispered the shadow figure as it disappeared in the alleys of this small town.(Meanwhile)The two girls finally got to school in time, and as they head inside the two parted for a moment so they could head to their shoe lockers. To Nami, school doesn't seem to have any differences at all. As she switched her outside shoes in her shoe locker for her school shoes, she realises that there was a letter inside. She slowly reached in, grabbing the letter and quickly glanced around to see anyone was watching. With no curious eyes spying on her and her letter, she slowly opens it and began to read it.Dear Nami Tsukimiya,Your joyful voice is the sound of a thousand angels, and everytime I hear it makes me happy. I hope you can accept me as a whole. I just wish to meet you after school in the music room, and remember I'll be waiting there patiently.Sincerely,Your Secret AdmirerWhat an interesting letter that was, and who would write such a thing thought Nami as her eyes widen. At least no one was looking... but Nami was wrong... Right beside her was her friend Saya who was peeking over her shoulders and giving a mischievous grin."Uhhh... it's not what you think Saya..." panicked Nami as she hid the letter behind her back. "It's just a note Jin gave me to hold for his girlfriend...""That's not what I read Nami," smiled Saya grabbing the letter. "I think there is someone in our school who has been checking you out.""C'mon Saya... just give me back the letter...""Fine then Nami," handing back the letter. "I'm so proud of you," teased Saya as she ran off."Boy...that Saya... she can be such a pain at times..." sighed Nami, putting the letter in her pocket.Nami then walked off and headed for her classroom, but was in deep thought. Nami had no idea what to do with a love letter, because this is the first time she received or experienced something like this. This made her question on when did she become popular with the guys? This made no sense to her at all. Pondering in deep thought as she walked down a hall, she made a sharp right where she accidentally bumps into a female student."Oh, I'm sorry. Forgive my rudeness... I should have been paying attention," apologized Nami realizing she accidentally knocked down someone."It's alright, by the way my name is Chiyo Kururugi," greeted Chiyo in a well-mannered fashion as she got up."Uhh... Hello, my name is Nami Tsukimiya," replied Nami a bit nervous. "Again, I'm sorry that I bumped you...""I told you it's okay, you see thanks to this organic tissue for my body, it keeps me intact from exposing my Matoran bio-organic structure so I could blend in. Also- wait I meant I have no scratch from that little incident," said Chiyo nervously."What the- organic tissue bio-what-cha-ma call it?" wondered Nami confused. As Chiyo was about to reply, the school bell rang and it meant that they need to get to their home rooms pronto."I would like to chat, but let's meet up later in my classroom 1-D. Bye!" rushed Chiyo as she ran to her classroom.Nami had no time to even say anything to Chiyo, but there was no time for that. So, she quickly dashed to her classroom, 1-B which was a bit farther than expected. With luck on her side, she was able to make it right on time before her teacher entered the room.Nami's desk is located on the side of the class by the last row, second to the last seat by a window. Almost out of breath, she was glad that she made it to class on time, she gently placed her book bag down by her desk and began reaching inside for her notebook.Behind her on the last seat sat a boy name, Rin Hitsuguya who always seemed out off the ordinary in the classroom and is usually quiet. With a slight glance, Nami noticed that he seemed to be staring at something outside the window. He soon noticed that she was staring at him and just grinned."You know, it's rude to stare at people," said Rin leaning his chair back crossing his arms and closing his eyes. "Besides, is there a reason why you are staring at me?"Nami felt pressured by the cold atmosphere he was giving off and hesitated. As she was about to reply, her friend Saya who sat next to her took notice of the situation."Is there a problem here Nami?" asked Saya concerned for her friend."uhh...not really..." replied Nami weakly."pfft...right... I'll just go back to my own business again," said Rin a bit annoyed. The two girls stared at him in awed by his attitude. "He has problems..." said Saya a bit upset. "He of course ruined my day..."That was when the teacher entered the classroom taking deep breaths."Alright class, I'm finally here... let's begin today's lesson," said the teacher as he began writing on the blackboard. The students soon paid no attention to their own personal problems and began taking out their notebooks to take notes. Class was about to start for the day... and it will seem like that this day will be a very long one. After several classes went by, it was finally lunch time and that meant Nami had to meet up with her new friend, Chiyo. Nami immediately left her class, bringing her lunch. As she dashed down the hallway, she noticed Rin was somewhat following her along the way. She wondered what he was up to, but there was no time to think about it. After several turns around the hallways, she finally made it to class 1-D. Waiting there patienly in front of the door was Chiyo."Hi there Nami! Nice to see you again," greeted Chiyo holding her bentou box. "Well, want to have lunch together in the courtyard?""Sure," replied Nami smiling. The two girls quickly headed out to the school's courtyard and sat on the nearest bench to eat their lunches. The location was so perfect to have a picnic outside. Problem was, there was no conversation going on. Something doesn't seem right.Nami stared into her bentou and then at Chiyo. She wanted to say something, but she was bothered by what Chiyo said earlier about bio-organic thing-a-ma-jig."I guess you must be wondering about what I accidentally said, huh?" asked Chiyo placing her chopsticks down."No... I'm not," replied Nami trying to not show any evidence."It's alright to think like that... you see I am not human. I am a Ga Matoran who has been living here in the human world for quite some time," said Chiyo as the wind blew her hair across her face. "My job is to record everything here... that is all I can tell you, because the rest is classified.""So you are some alien?" asked Nami almost unbelieving the story."I guess you can call it like that, but I would rather not be called an alien. Also, I don't want you telling anybody about what I am telling you now, okay? Can I trust you on that?""I suppose," replied Nami finishing her lunch. "Well, all I know is I am just an average high school girl-""I don't believe you are just average. Everyone has something special in them, you just have to find it," interrupted Chiyo smiling until the school bell rang. "It looks like we better head back to class, I'll see you tommorow Nami.""Alright Chiyo! See you tommorow!" replied Nami as she headed back into the building. Waiting for her was Rin who seemed to be acting a bit suspicous."What were you up to?" asked Rin staring directly at Nami."I was just having my lunch outside... is there a problem with that?" answered Nami startled."No, but I hope you know what you are getting yourself into..." said Rin sharply as he walked off.For a moment Nami felt a shock on her body, but it was just a cold feeling. This feeling was very familiar to her, and that only occurs when trouble is brewing. Only thing is, where and when will this trouble begin? The question will remain unanswered until further notice... which was bothering Nami a lot. This day seemed to get weirder and weirder by the minute."What is going on today...?" wondered Nami.(2 hours later)After a long period of time, school was finally over. The love letter that Nami received earlier in the morning soon came to mind, which made her a bit anxious and nervous at the same time. As everyone poured out off the classroom, Nami waited for awhile before everyone was gone."You want to walk home together Nami," asked Saya."I can't Saya, I have something to do. Can you tell Jin that I might be going home late today," asked Nami placing all her textbooks into her bookbag."Sure, I will," replied Saya. "Catch you later! and goodluck with your new boyfriend!"Watching her friend walk off Nami took deep breaths, and finally got ready to go to the music room which was on the third floor. Grabbing all her things she quickly headed out off the hallway and also noticed that the school was unusually quiet. Quite odd, but she had no time to worry about the stillness. She began heading up the stairs as fast as she could, until she finally made it to the 3rd floor. As Nami was about to head to the hall to where the music room was, she heard an odd noise coming from upstairs which was leading to the roof. She wanted to know what was going on upstairs, but she has a meeting with her secret admirer in the music room. It was a hard decision, but she had to choose."I guess I can take a quick peek..." said Nami as she slowly headed up the stairs to the roof, curious about where the odd sounds were coming from. As she finally made it to the top floor, there standing right in front of her was a huge door leading outside to the roof. The odd sounds were coming from behind the door, and they continued to get louder by the second. As she opened the door, she saw a mechanical-like being in white armor facing off a gigantic beast-like being."What in the world is that?" she wondered in great terror. The two beings were both fighting each other in a brutal battle, but the white armored being looked like it was losing badly. that was when it was thrown at the direction where Nami was standing. She immediately dodged the being right on time before impact. It was a great collision, the roof's door was completely decimated from the impact, but at least Nami didn't get hurt/injured in the process. Taking a closer look at the injured white armored being, Nami noticed it was wearing a weird shaped mask. She wondered if the mask was similar to the ones in Africa, and slowly placed her hands on the mask. The white armored being slowly opened it's eyes and looked at Nami carefully. She quickly removed her hands as fast as she could when the white armored being was finally conscious."What brings you here... it's too dangerous..." said the white armored being."W-w-what do you mean... I know that, but..." trembled Nami in shock."Look... I know who you are. You are Nami Tsukimiya, and this place is no place for a human like you," urged the white armored being."I don't understand... You look injured and how do you know me?" replied Nami trying to help out."look... I am Rin Hitsuguya, and I am a Toa of Ice..." replied Rin trying to lift his weapon. "Now back off and I'll try to fight this Rahi off before it hurts you!!!"Nami never knew that her regular school life will end up like this. All that had happened today changed her way of thinking forever. With a battle of two non-human beings, when did aliens existed and why is she the only one to know they exist? This was all confusing and risky all packed in one gift wrapped box, What else can go wrong? With his might, Rin charged at the Rahi beast using his twin ice katana blades. Using all of his might he attempted to slice the creature down using his ice powers to finish it off, but it had no effect. The beast was irritated by the futile attacks, Which made the creature slash its claw at Rin. The swipe of the gigantic claws of the beast broke through his armor, tearing into Rin's muscles. The Rahi smiled at its victory and continued its attack at the weakened Toa.The many blows slowly drained Rin's strength, and he had no idea what to do next. He was a total mess and now he is losing badly. He attempted to use his remaining elemental powers to give him a chance, but now his attempts are weaker than before. With futile attempts of defending himself, he finally degraded back to his human form with only his mask on him left."Great... now what should I do? I can't even protect Nami and myself..." panicked Rin trying to think of a way to defeat the Rahi. That was when the creature's huge claw tore off the mask from his face, which completely drained his Toa powers leaving him defenseless. The mask flew directly into the building smashing through a wall and right into the lap of Nami who was hiding from all the destruction. Until she noticed that Rin's mask was right on her lap. The beast soon prepared for the final blow, and time was running out. Nami quickly got up and attempted to give the mask back to Rin, but the mask began to glow a bright neon color which distracted her and the creature. Nami tried to cover her eyes, but the light was just too bright to get away from. That was when the mask transformed into a necklace which had a weird symbol for an amulet."What is this? What happened to the mask?" wondered Nami as she held the necklace up close. All of a sudden, the necklace swiftly wrapped itself on Nami's neck. Surprised by the actions of the necklace, She struggled to take off the necklace, but it wouldn't come off her."What is going on here? Why can't I take off this necklace?" worried Nami until the amulet projected a bright light. The light was so immense, it was hard to even think and soon an odd unknown voice was heard. Nami thought the voice belonged to Rin, but it sounded different and deeper. She wondered where it was coming from and why can't she see who was talking."You are the one and only chosen one... you will keep the balance in the two worlds. You must give power to your Toa. Remember it well... You are the heart and soul to your Toa guardian..." said the voice as it slowly faded away along with the light."Wait, what do you mean I am the heart? And what do you mean by chosen one?" asked Nami, but no one answered her.Nami had no idea what just happened but the amulet was back to normal, also Rin got his armor back. The difference was that he is now bearing the same symbol on Nami's necklace. This was just only a beginning of something that will change Nami's normal life forever...As she slowly walked foward from shock, Rin took notice of her and jumped right in front of her which took her by surprise."I thank you Nami for giving me back my Toa powers... but now let us finish off this Rahi beast since I now know that your are not just an ordinary human. You see, I am your protector..." said Rin unsheathing his new blade."Say wha-? I don't...understand. I'm just an ordinary average high school girl..." said Nami in confusion."No time for understanding... let's take this Rahi out once and for all... together!"To Be Continued... [ Review Topic]
