  1. Hey, a while back i came a across a misprint kraata. Its quite a weird color mix. I have a suspicion it was originally meant to be a Dark gold to Tan fade for the Pahrak model. However it must have gotten mixed with the Lehrahk model a bit because there are green tinges on all the gold parts of the kraata. Im thinking of selling it depending on how much you guys are willing to price it as. I have a minimum in mind but i would like to hear what you guys think think its worth first. In some of these i put it either side of a Pahrak and Lehrak version of the kraata for a comparison. 12571375_474809436049934_1303040722_n.jpg (720×960) it is the one in the middle of this pic 12583973_474809336049944_1659281368_n.jpg (960×960) 12596226_474809339383277_1999827385_n.jpg (960×960) 12607246_474809399383271_2134919885_n.jpg (960×720) 12625883_474809369383274_711146778_n.jpg (960×960)
  2. Hello, I posted a topic for this stuff a few months ago but it has since died; so this is a re-post of this topic. Anyway, I have quite the haul of Bionicle sets that have been packed away for many years and I'd like to get rid of them for more space and money towards a much needed new computer; as such, I am not looking to trade for other sets. Ideally I'd like to part with everything, so with that said here is what I've got: Strikeouts indicate sold items, while bold indicate on hold items. 2001 8531 Pohatu 8532 Onua 8533 Gali 8534 Tahu 8535 Lewa 8536 Kopaka 8537 Nui-Rama Toa Mata Promo Mini CD x1 8540 Vakama 8541 Matau 8542 Onewa 8543 Nokama 8544 Nuju 8545 Whenua 8546 Power Pack (No original box. Everything here (unless stated otherwise) is in wonderful condition and includes the complete figure (I mean they were packed away for years in protective tubs), I do not have the instructions or canisters. I'd definitely like to sell these to anyone who may be interested in any of these or would perhaps even want them in bulk just for the spare parts. Update: I am willing to trade items for un-opened North American versions of the following amiibo: Samus, Kirby and Wii Fit Trainer. Alternately, I'm also willing to trade for items on my wish list. Thanks!
  3. Hel-lo BZPower! (I always wanted to loud-shout that.) So, after acquiring a Rahkshi, I realized, "Man, is this function floppy!" Therefore, I took it upon myself to find a way to fix it. Here's how to fix it up: Separate the upper and lower halves of the torso assembly. See that tan pin attached to one half? Remove it, and replace it with its blue, friction-adding cousin. Reassemble your Rahkshi. Enjoy having a non-floppy Rahkshi! I hope this helps those of you who have a Rahkshi. However, if this fix is common knowledge, I'm okay with it if it gets taken down.
  4. This game has been cancelled. I'm ending the MATORAN SMACK DOWN series. Sorry to every who want to play. Welcome fellow brothers I am ToaTimeLord. The last of the noble Rahkshi of Mata Nui. This is the tale of how my people became the evil creatures that they are now. A sad tale but one we can learn from so this never happens again. It all started with the first Matoran War. My people were able to stay out of way between there conflict. When we heared that the Matoran had won the battle we thought it was all over. Then he came. We first thought he came from the Matoran village then we found out he was Makuta. He forced us to refuge Shadow Matoran. Some of us opposed the idea but some supported the Shadow Matoran. Most of us didn't know what to do. We desided to abandon are village to the Shadow Matoran and create a new one. What a mistake that was for are people were far more advanced than either Matoran tribes. The Shadow Matoran took are weapons and had revenge in there blackened hearts. The War had started again. Okay the Time has come again boys and girls. MATORAN SMACK DOWN 2 Has now started. All BZPOWER Rules apply All of the original MSD Rules go to. For new players I'll put here as well. The slots are first come first served There are two sides the Matoran and Shadow Matoran but there are Rahkshi who will play a special rule in the game. After the players are on there sides I will PM the two people who will become the traitors. The two traitors will get special rules in the PM that only work for them. Besides that everyone must follow these rules. I will ask everyone to comment there attack element and a defense element The success or failure of a Matoran's attack depends on what elements they pick. Exampe Matoran 1 Attack: Fire Defense: Stone To win a attack, your attack element needs to be the opposite of the defense element. Element battle chart Fire beats water, earth, ice Water beats earth, ice, stone Earth beats Ice, stone, jungle Ice beats stone, jungle, fire Stone beats Jungle, fire, water Jungle beats fire, water, earth How to attack I will send out PMs titled "Matoran Smack Down 2" to all 18 players You send a message to me of who you want to attack and what side there on. I will message you if your attack succeed or failed. You can attack anyone even Matoran on your own team but there is a catch if you attack someone on your own team if its not the traitor you loss the ability to attack in the next round. 5. I was browsing through my collection of instruction manuals the other day, when I happened to come across a manual for 8592 Turahk. However, this manual had misspelt it as "Tuhrak". It is pictured below, with a regular manual (with correct spelling) for comparison: The misspelt instructions are otherwise identical to the regular instructions. Nothing else is misprinted/misspelt or in the wrong place, and all of the copyrights are in the right place. The paper feels exactly the same as the regular instructions, so I don't think its a knockoff or anything. Did Lego send out a batch of misprinted instructions? Is this rare at all? Does anyone actually care about proper spelling of Bionicle set names anyways?? Let's hear your thoughts! Edit: Just realized I spelt Turahk incorrectly in the topic title *hangs head in shame* Request to fix spelling error in topic title

  8. One of a new breed of fully sapient Kraata, Sepulchral is an ambitious Rahkshi of density control whose desire to prove himself has given way to a philosophical quest for a more meaningful identity. Alternate angle Front Side Unexpectedly unsettling Daemonic, yet dignified En garde! Sepulchral's page on the Corpus Rahkshi Wiki I started this MoC around six months ago with the sole purpose of building something to wear my trans-orange Mask of Fire. It wound up temporarily set aside due to a lack of the needed parts, but when I finally decided to join Corpus Rahkshi over the summer the half-finished model served as inspiration for the appearance of my first real RPG character. Eventually it more or less became what Sepulchral looked like in my mind. And now that I've finally Bricklinked the necessary pieces, he can make his proper debut at last. As always, comments and criticism are appreciated. Edit: Image linked; please keep embedded images in BBC to 640x640 pixels / 100 kB. -Wind- Edit: Image fixed.
  9. Well, almost immediately after I bought Kopaka and the Protector of Earth at the start of the year, I began making Mocs of them. I didn't have too many parts, so they were fairly simple. Later on in march when I got Gali and Tahu, an idea struck me. What if I made Mocs of Gen 1 characters? I made a large Visorak with a spinner, Gen 1 Toa besides the Mata/Nuva, a failed attempt at a Bohrok and eventually a Rahkshi. Unfortunately, all of my photos were saved on my school computer which was wiped at the end of the year. However, I now have nearly all of the Bionicle 2015 sets, expect for a two of the protectors, the four skull villains and Lewa. With the parts, I rebuilt Rahkshi better than before, and with my expanded parts selection, I was able to make four Rahkshi. I hope you enjoy the bios and Mocs. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On our island of Okoto, strange creatures displaying higher intelligence and abilities than most wild beast have been spotted recently. I have devoted my time to studying them since their arrival. They are reptilian in appearance, with spikes on their backs and an armor-like shell. They appear to have some powers, but not on the same level of our heroic Toa. These beasts call themselves "Rahkshi" and appear peaceful, but their presence combined with their power seems to suggest otherwise. Hailing from a faraway island, the Rahskhi are a species hundreds of millennia old. Through time, they have evolved and changed and developed into a species far different from their original form. I managed to befriend one of them, a large red and black male who goes by the name of Xurahk. He is a Rahkshi scholar and has gladly shared his repertoire of history and information with me. It is only fair that I share this information with the readers of this report, as it will be a boost to your appreciation of the subject. Long ago, the Rahkshi were created by a mysterious brotherhood as soldiers and guards. Each Rahkshi had a special power, such as insect control, quick healing or disintegration. The Rahkshi were adept at using these powers in conjunction with the strength and size to achieve whatever goal the brotherhood bestowed upon them. One member of the brotherhood eventually took control forcefully and brought darkness to their whole universe. He went about killing the group's dissenters, but a small band of them used an artifact to travel to our world. They began a new life with their Rahkshi, but eventually died off leaving the Rahkshi in control of the island they had landed on. The Rahkshi began to change physically and mentally soon afterward, or so the story goes. Their strange anatomy became more organic and more alive. They became capable of reproduction, and started a civilization of their own. As time went on, some things were lost to them. Their powers were weakened, and the large build that had been so common was now a rarity. But in spite of these losses, they gained something much better in return- a mind capable of logic and reason like our own. They progressed forward making advances we Okotans have yet to dream of. At the peak of Okotan civilization, our ancestors lived in harmony and made many wonders we have yet to replicate. As we all know, Makuta betrayed Ekimu and the island fell into chaos. The Rahkshi had no such incident. They continued to progress but began to wonder what lay beyond the ocean surrounding their home. Only recently did any Rahkshi have the bravery to attempt to cross it, and they discovered our homeland during their adventures. Most of the islanders are very suspicious of them, but they agreed to let the Rahkshi be here as long as they gave us knowledge and technology. With the Toa on their suicide mission to awaken Ekimu, we feared that we might be in need of assistance once more. I have met four Rahkshi personally so far. In the few weeks they have been here, I have learned so many new things. Laws of motion, why things fall down, the weather and more have all been revealed to me. This newfound knowledge is priceless, but I hope that by introducing these four to you I can help build our relations for a prosperous future. 1. Lu'wrahk Lu'whrak is a female Rahkshi of Disintegration. She is fairly friendly but fierce nonetheless. Lu'whrak lives life without worry, knowing that if she gets herself in danger she can easily find her way out. An honorable fighter in combat and a kind friend in peace, she is one of the more amiable Rahkshi on the island. Pose Pose 2 Back Standing 2. Hapurahk Hapurahk has gotten the short end of the stick his whole life. He was born with a misshapen back and with a missing eye. Thanks to the amazing technology of their homeland, he was given a mechanical eye but his back still retained its strange shape. His colors- white and gold- corresponded to no known Rahkshi power, but he eventually found that he had the power of Weather Control. Sadly, he has less control over his power than one of the level 1 Rahkshi of ancient times. Hapurahk has an indomitable will and a desire to make things better for himself or others through any means. He is an extremely skilled warrior with his swords and has yet to lose a match. Winning matches give him hope that maybe someday he will turn his life around for good. He hopes to do just that on Okoto. Pose Side Back Standing 3. Zohrahk Even among the Rahkshi of our time, who are considered small compared to their past forms, Zohrahk is very short. She is a little bit taller than the Protectors, and much more fearsome. Her spines are small and curved, but what makes here truly unique are the horn-like protrusions on her head. She refuses to divulge whether they are natural or just something she wears for intimidation. A master of stealth, she is the most aggressive of the four Rahkshi I have met. She is an expert at dealing extreme amounts of attacks in a short period of time. Her double-ended staff is similar to the ones used by the old Rahkshi. I have seen her use the staff to vault into the air and unleash rapid attacks on her opponents. Most of the other Rahkshi dislike her for her aggressiveness, but she can be friendly at times. Pose Side Back Standing 4. Xurahk The final Rahkshi I list here, Xurahk appears imposing at first, but he is actually a renowned and kindly scholar. His size is rare among modern Rahkshi, and is comparable to that of the old ones. He carries a large axe and shield for defense, but does not engage in combat. He only fights if he needs to and spends most of his time reading, learning and discovering. Xurahk is the most friendly to me, and I consider him a friend. He has taught me much of the science and history of his species, and I have done the same in return. Our meeting has been peaceful and beneficial to all, as it usually is when two scholars meet. Pose Back Standing I hope this guide been informative and helpful to all. May this knowledge be passed down for generations to come. Finally, I present you with a picture that should have been much easier to take- I gathered all four of these Rahkshi together and used their "camera" to "photograph" them. Yes, this is the same device I used to "photograph" their individual pictures. Thank you very much for reading this guide, and leave comments and criticism for my improvement as a scholar. Together!
  10. ...To be ones already known of. Don't know what I'm talking about? One of the many wacky foreign and non-canon combiners G1 had was this often liked diddy that mixes together the blue, red and black Rahkshi into one staff wielding warrior. What you may not know is that there were apparently other models that came from the same Brickshelf gallery it came from that were not used in the (Western, at least) LEGO magazine it appeared in. These are more... out there, to say the least. And when asked if they should also be include in the alternate model database back in October, Volitak_Boxor said no because they weren't, to out knowledge, LEGO-sanctioned like the Japanese model was. Until now... While browsing on Google, I came across this old BZPower news archive page that shows the picture of one of the combiners and lists it as being one of four "Inspired by BIONICLE" creations available on BIONICLE.com's Builder's Section without instructions but rather a single image, and also that they weren't seen on the LEGO Club website. So I went through the Wayback Machine for the Builder's Section page around this date and did indeed find four "Inspiration Models" without images saved. And clicking for a close-up gave more information. "Inspirational Model #1" uses Turahk, Vorahk & Guurahk so it matches the magazine-published combiner and states "Tip: Use the Rahkshi shoulder parts to create the body of this imposing character.". "Inspirational Model #2" uses Panrahk, Kurahk & Lerahk so it matches the BZPower listed image's combiner and states "Tip: Use Rahkshi back parts to create the long arms. Remember that good balance is the most important part of this model!". "Inspirational Model #3" uses Onua Nuva, Pahrak-Kal, Pohatu Nuva & Nuhvok-Kal so it must be the duo combiner and states "Tip: Using Onua Nuva and Pahrak-Kal, you can create the silver version of this Ape-like creature. By combining Pohatu Nuva and Nuhvok-Kal, you can also create his golden-faced twin!". And "Inspirational Model #4" uses Tahu Nuva and Kohrak-Kal so it must be the remaining combiner and states "Tip: Combine the various limbs of both Tahu Nuva and Kohrak-Kal to create extra-long legs!". So in terms of obscure and goofy, but LEGO-sanctioned combiners, we can also now add these guys to the continually growing list!
  11. Revenge, the MOC Revenge is a character in Corpus Rahkshi. He was my first RPG character and I finally got around to making him a MOC. I had to make something up because I don't have a Rahkshi head in black which ended up being a good thin that way I could put his eyepiece in (yes that is supposed to be there). His weapon launches exploding Zamor sphere launcher with a small dagger-like attachment. Overall I am glad about how the MOC turned out. Matanbane

This is a battle song written by a Rahkshi on a Brotherhood vessel en route for the Siege of Metru Nui. It is sung to the tune of Palästinalied. *** Let us progress onward and forward,To the land of doom and suffering. We must save those who are slaughtered,By the wrath of the one named Mata! But let us not delay in our siege,Go in the name of our ruling liege! The Matoran must be saved. Defenseless and hapless in their existence,We must protect them with our resilience!Let naught any blight by Agent or ToaStand in the way of our victory!Sailing on with staff in hand,Prepare yourselves for the battle’s hand! There will be warfare done on this day! We can see the skyline so distantDrawing closer, bringing our dooms. We shall pillage the city of legendsIn the name of the Brotherhood! Many a Matoran is waiting for,The saviors who shall set them free.Woe to Mata Nui, who shall die!
  13. A sculpt/sketch I did of a Rahkshi in zbrush. It was partly based around several sketches I did where I attempted to conceptualize the process of how their armor was created that is, kraata being exposed to energized protodermis to form the shell, so I used the kraata as inspiration for the armor and opted for a more organic look given their nature. (P.S. Zbrush now has a 45-day trial version, if you guys are interested)

  15. Okay then, so, before I post any MOCs, let me just get something out of the way; these are all MOCs I've done, in LDD, with no connection to Johnrahk's amazing Corpus MOCs other than the inspiration to do this. Anyway. These are all characters from Corpus Rahkshi, over in the BRPG forum, so, yes they're all Rahkshi, but no, they aren't all the same, and before anyone asks, I used LDD-to-POV-Ray to render the models. Rider, played by Agent Epsilon Well, here we have Rider. Rider's a Rahkshi of Rahi Control, who is perpetually covered in a camo-pattern which I tried to recreate in LDD, but didn't really happen other than the colour blocks. Rider is currently insane, after one of his best friends, Raptor, died on an assignment and another Rahkshi, called Blitz, discovered this and basically turned himself into Raptor. As you can probably guess, seeing his friend who Rider had seen die was quite a shock for him. The Ussal crab next to Rider is his pet, Claws. Mu, played by Miras the Omniscient Yay for Mu! Mu is one of the members of the Omega family, a group of Rahkshi spawned from Bitil whose names are all Greek letters. Mu is no exception to this. If we're looking at "family roles", Mu is the annoying little brother; he idolises Omega, having painted himself in an identical colour scheme to him, and has even modelled his own personality after his older brother. Thankfully for Mu, he doesn't know that Omega's dead yet. (The weapons are spoons; don't ask why.) Lucid, played by Sergei Rahkmaninoff Well then, here's my version of Lucid. Before anyone says anything about the colourscheme, I did not choose it; Lucid is the technicolour dreamrahk, which therefore involves a rainbow colour scheme and generally having her head stuck in the metaphorical clouds. The ring on her hand has the power to send another being into a shared ream with Lucid, who can control all aspects of the dreamscape. My personal favourite part about Lucid is the spines. Sepulchral, played by Dark_Stranger So, this is Sepulchral. One of Bitil's spawn, he has most of the same personality aspects, being ambitious whilst insecure. He also, as his name implies, has an impressive vocabulary, although likely not as impressive as Recherche's. The inspiration behind my decision to build Sepulchral was sort of as to say "sorry" to Dark_Stranger for almost killing Sepulchral in an unpleasant fight during which my character, Malady, was stabbed in the head with a chisel and she managed to choke Sepulchral unconscious, before dropkicking his Kraata out of a window. Yikes. So, Dark_Stranger, if you're reading this, there you go; I am sorry for nearly killing Sepulchral! Malady, played by Miras the Omniscient Talking about Malady, here she is. She's my only actively-evil-aligned Rahkshi in the game, which is somewhat surprising for me, at least. Anyway. Malady's character is essentially based off of a snake (Thus the colours) all the way up to her variation, which is Poison. The weapon she has in her left hand is an attempt at making a Rhotuka launcher in LDD and failing, but whatever. The reason that Malady's feet are brick-built is because I needed smallish feet which had three toes, which you can't get with non-custom feet. I was really trying to push for the snakey feel here, with the longer limbs, the slightly hunched appearance and so on. Fior, played by OLISI So, this is Fior, formerly known as Raith. Fior used to be the archetypical unthinking, Makuta-obedient Rahkshi, but after a character-development heavy dream/coma thing (Aka inactivity) her character changed massively, prompting a name change from Raith to Fior. I actually built this IRL before translating it over to LDD, so the construction here is probably far more stable than most the other MOCs here. Fior's current weapon shown here is a Rahkshi staff that can shoot heat and bolts of fragmentation, thus the pieces I chose for it. Grim, played by Chumpu This particular Rahkshi is Grim, a fairly recent arrival to the school. A Rahkshi of Adaptation and one of Gorast's Rahkshi, Grim is unfailingly loyal to the Makuta, and is currently leading a massacre of the Matoran village of Phantom-on-the-Water, the headquarters of the Nynrah Ghosts, in revenge for multiple instances of Rahkshi from the school having been attacked by the Ghosts. Grim was probably my favourite to build out of all of these, since the challenge was to build a Rahkshi with far more armour plating than others, which is why he's also a load taller than anyone else. Holistic, played by Daniel the Dwarf This here is Holistic, a Rahkshi of Limited Invulnerability. Like most of the others here, Holistic is a fairly new arrival at Corpus Rahkshi. An existential nihilist, Holistic is cynical and outwardly emotionless, and despises art. I don't actually have much to say about Holistic's construction, other than how I attempted to replicate some of my other Rahkshi torso designs but on a smaller scale by using the smallest CCBS torso in the hips, which I think worked out okay. Char, played by Click Here's Char. A Rahkshi of Ice Resistance, she's Hoto's sister and just generally... isn't a nice person. Loyal to the Makuta, Char has somewhat of a talent for manipulation of other Rahkshi, although so far the only one that she has successfully been able to influence is Shield, who has now left the school as part of the Rebellion. Char's current weapons are a pair of flare guns. (Thanks for the design, Click!) The most enjoyable bit about this was undeniably building a chubby Rahkshi. Obviously, Char isn't as fat as Flabbergaster, but the whole chubbiness thing still stands, and I'm quite pleased with how it came out. The yellow is also pretty much bang-on, seeing as her profile describes it as being painful to look at, and my eyes hurt, so yeah. Comments and criticism are welcome! All of the deeplinked images here link to the full-size pictures on Imgur. Thanks for taking the time to come and look at these!
  16. I was thinking about recoloring the rahkshi sprites in Chimoru Omega and making a spritesheet out of them. The Rayg Kit rahkshi sprites are for reference when I will make the poses. If anyone knows how to fix up the kraata sprite with too much anti-aliasing, please tell me. Is there anything I should add or improve on in this little project? EDIT: I have released the newer version of my spritesheet!

  18. "Must I release those who should never see the light of day?" The Rahkshi "What are you, creature? Why does the sight of you chill my soul as nothing else has since... Makuta!" Rahkshi of Fear "Fear will keep them from their Destiny." Rahkshi of Anger "Anger amongst them will destroy their precious Unity..." Rahkshi of Hunger "Hunger will consume their Duty..." Rahkshi of Disintegration "Their Duty will be broken." Rahkshi of Poison "Their Unity can be poisoned..." Rahkshi of Fragmentation "Their Destiny, I must shatter." -------------------------------------------------- Click the images below to view their respective albums! Wow. Five years since the end of Generation 1. Ha! And we can call it that now - Generation 1! I still can't get over that. I grew up with Bionicle, and I'm very glad to see it returning. I haven't built in ages, but I have to say, it feels good to be back in the habit. It's funny, actually - back when I first heard that Bionicle was coming back, it just so happened to align with when I managed to get my old Lego (98% Bionicle) collection back. The first thing I decided to do? Build Rahkshi remakes. I only completed Kurahk, given I had limited space; but once this contest came around, I had more space and quickly jumped on Bricklink to order a number of Constraction parts I've missed in the years since Bionicle ended. Kurahk got an upgrade to CCBS after I completed Turahk and Guurahk. I also grabbed Tahu and Pohatu (2015) this week, and you can see I used a few of Pohatu's silver parts for Lerahk and Panrahk. I never realized how Lego abandoned classic green until now - but boy, it made building Lerahk tricky. I decided to use the old Toa feet for his (and Panrahk's) build since the end of the foot is somewhat similar to the shape made by typical CCBS armor. I only just figured out you could snap them onto CCBS limbs yesterday, and it really was the final piece of the puzzle in getting these guys built; just a little fine-tuning after that, and here we are. Also, can I take this moment to rant about how terribly indecisive Lego has been for the element of Stone since 2001? 2001-2003 saw the dominance of classic Brown (seen above) and Tan as a secondary color, with Burnt Orange as a tertiary color. It was a great set of colors and reflected Stone well. But then 2004 came along, and suddenly brown was caramel? But by 2006, it was Gunmetal with a secondary color of Yellow-Orange. What even was that? And to follow that up in 2007 with Black and Yellow-Orange - when Black had been decidedly about Earth since 2001 - and then change it again in 2008 to be Orange, which clearly made more sense as Fire's secondary color. And then 2009, suddenly Tan was the color of choice, with tiny bits of Caramel highlights? I get that brown isn't a popular color, but goodness. And here we are in 2015 - and Pohatu is decidedly Burnt Orange. Needless to say, this was particularly frustrating when building Panrahk, but hey, I came up with something! My favorites are certainly Turahk and Kurahk, though their builds were certainly aided by the prevalence of pieces in their respective colors (granted Vorahk and Guurahk were pretty straightforward, as well). I tried to reflect unique builds with each Rahkshi, as the cookie-cutter style of the original sets was not only impossible with the color palette and contest requirements, but also something I always found a little boring. I tried to reflect unique personalities in each build; hopefully that shines through in the final product. Anyway, enough with my rambling. It's great to be building again, and I'm glad to be back on BZP! -Tesser

  21. For my entry, I built a Heat Vision Rahkshi to fit the new Bionicle aesthetic (and of course CCBS). I wanted a beefy Rahkshi that is larger than a Toa just as they should be while making some design modifications, specifically in the staff. I gave him an asymmetrical staff and made a change to the pilot Kraata itself. When building it, I imagined what a Rahkshi would look like in the new animations which helped inspire the angles and blockier areas of the model. I also had fun designing a new creepy Kraata mouth. 22. Hello out there, Ptah here I had one additional model I wanted to share: the Rahkshi serpent. Granted this was never spoken of directly in Bionicle lore, but everyone of my Rahkshi canisters carried an image of this snake/serpent like creatures so I think it qualifies. Since it never had a G1 set it's not really a 2.0, but spirit of the times. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=553019 Some backstory: In the lava fields, the most desirable game is also the most dangerous: the Infernoboa An adult Infernoboa can evaporate a river and often melts rock to channel lava flows to their nests. Villagers love the meat but the Infernoboa is lethal out of the egg. They constrict their prey and their high body heat practically cooks them within their coils. Only the lava hunters successfully bring these creatures down earning a high price for the much prized meat.
  23. A quick sketch of one of my characters in I Am Ultron Six's new text-based RPG. Wraith is a ghost-like density control rahk, so I drew her in all pencil to both represent her colour scheme and the semi-transparent, ever-shifting nature of her armour. On DeviantArt I highly recommend Corpus Rahkshi as it's actually one of the most fun RPGs I've ever played That's about it for today, folks; constructive criticism welcome
  24. Wow, I haven't posted any art here for a while, though I'm always drawing. I guess I haven't drawn anything that I'd consider worthy to post here. That is, until now. For those of you unfamiliar with it, Corpus Rahkshi is an RPG run over in the RPG forum by I Am Ultron Six. In it, Kraata are suddenly becoming more intelligent and gaining personalities, much to the surprise of the Brotherhood. They placed all the new Rahkshi in what equates to a high school off the coast of Nynrah under the charge of Makuta Tridax, just to watch what happens. There's assignments ("assassinating" another student and ruining Christmas so far), factions (such as "Phogen's Heroes," the most prominent), and lots of fun to be had. This is one of my characters, Hoto, a blind Rahkshi of Dodge who uses a sort of echolocation and her powers to get around. She's always energetic and fun-loving, never letting her disability get in her way, though she can be emotional under stress. This art piece was also one of my first attempts at realistic shading without linework. It probably took me somewhere around 12-15 hours to complete in little intervals, but it was definitely worth it. It turned out a bit small, but hopefully large enough to see the details. I would love some criticism from those of you more familiar with shading so I can improve for future drawings. 25. In the extremely popular RPG called Corpus Rahkshi, three Rahkshi recently became level three- Phogen, Exxan and Squid. I recently acquired a vacuum Kraata, and Exxan is a Rahkshi of Vacuum. Squid is my character. You can guess where this is going. Squid was built with the idea of making a sturdy, flexible, small Rahkshi of Chain Lightning. I think I succeeded. (Yes, I know he's missing a finger and his head is the wrong color, I don't own a silver Rahkshi head.) http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/RahkshiToa88/Bionicle/Corpus-Rahkshi/squid1.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/RahkshiToa88/Bionicle/Corpus-Rahkshi/squid2.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/RahkshiToa88/Bionicle/Corpus-Rahkshi/squid3.jpg Exxan is Roman Torchwick's character. He was built with the idea of making a Vaccum Rahkshi that used the normal Rahkshi back to contain the Kraata and had a proper Vacuum color scheme. This resulted in a Rahkshi that looked... okay, but somewhat disproportioned and unfinished looking. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/RahkshiToa88/Bionicle/Corpus-Rahkshi/exxan1.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/RahkshiToa88/Bionicle/Corpus-Rahkshi/exxan2.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/RahkshiToa88/Bionicle/Corpus-Rahkshi/exxan3.jpg And here they are together, Squid telling Exxan about the lynch mob going after him. http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/RahkshiToa88/Bionicle/Corpus-Rahkshi/photo_on_12-20-14_at_10.52_am.jpg BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!!! I took two short films of them spinning slowly so you can see them better! The only noise is the wood turning. They are titled "Squid spin" and "Exxan spin" and they're not working with a direct link. Click on the Bionicle folder to find them. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=RahkshiToa88 If anything doesn't work, let me know.
