  1. Working on mini versions of the toa mata and really want to track down these pens for the masks! Shoot me a message if you have one! I'd love to make a deal with you.
  2. Hi! I'm Solaire, and I'm new here. Since BIONICLE is celebrating its 20th anniversary, I've decided to share some of my "modifications" to the legendary Toa team that started it all: the Toa Mata! I've made weapon holster for four of them, taking inspiration from those old videos. Here are some screenshots (the last one is not official but illustrates my point quite well) (from : BIONICLE: masks of power) The magic of CGI ... KOPAKA Like kopaka himself, this holster is simple yet effective: no illegal technics here. Here's the parts list and result: Then all you have to do is to insert it in the axe hole in his back: And voilà ! TAHU For Tahu there's a little trick: the holes on the fire sword are way too high. So I've used the thickness of the blade (which is the same as a plate for some reason) in conjunction with exo-force claws to hold it in place. And it's very secure! LEWA Lewa's holster was quite hard to figure out! There was no usable legal connection, so I had to think outside the box. Using two minifig wrenches I was able to simulate a hole the size of an axel. That configuration allowed the axe to hold securely. Be sure to push it as far as you can against Lewa's back to have maximum friction. GALI Soooo many prototypes for this one ! after considering using the hips for placement I decided to use the natural shape of the hooks to hide them around the back gear. It's way sleeker than my earlier attempts. Another illegal connection: using the piston detailing on the insides of both hooks, I was able to overlap them in a satisfying shape. The grey custom piece ( made from those parts that hold railways set inbox) is replaceable by a cut pneumatic hose of length 1:1 ONUA and POHATU There's nothing to store! Onua's claws ARE his hands ... that would be creepy. And Pohatu can hold his rock under his arm CONCLUSION One thing to note is that the gear functions are still perfectly usable. hooray ! So now, after twenty years of honourable service, our heroes can finally lay down their weapons and celebrate! while the four of them compare upgrades, Onua and Pohatu seem confused as to why it's such a big deal But There's still an important matter to discuss: what flavour will be the cake? If I know anything about them, it's that it's going to take a while. You want what ?! ... I guess MY work isn't over That's all for now! I'm always eager to learn and improve so feel free to share your opinion. PS: apologies if my phrasing seems strange. English is not my native language. ^^'
  3. Let me explain ... So there are obviously ridiculous amounts of parallels between G1 and G2, or not so much parallels as rehashes. But what if this wasn't just a marketing ploy, what if these connections actually hinted at something bigger? (Okay, they obviously don't, but it's pure headcannon from here on so sue me.) The way I see it, the whole of Gen-2 is actually a prequel to the original series. Ekimu is Artakha in disguise (this is far from big stretch, they both have the same mask and fulfil similar functions), and he created the whole of Okoto to test out the Toa Okoto (later to be Toa Mata) before deployment. The whole thing is one giant crash test. He knew they'd be up against Makuta, so he created a fake to serve as an enemy (along with fake matoran, fake adversaries, he's basically testing his creations). Nothing more to it really but it makes things very nice and neat in my head. Anyhooooo ...
  4. Looking for opinions here: I was thinking about the Toa Nuva and I was wondering what types of music they would listen to. Now obviously they could have varied tastes, but I feel like since they are so unique they would have a genre or style that was "theirs". My ideas are Tahu: Rock/heavy metal (passion) Kopaka: EDM/Techno (clean, cold) Pohatu: Synthwave (because Pohatu) Gali: lo-fi or soundscapes (focus) Lewa: rap/trap/dubstep/YouTube bass boost edits (anything loud) Onua: silence (or maybe singer/songwriter) If you have different ideas or like mine, let me know! If you have reasons for your choices I'd love to hear them.
  5. I'm currently working on a screenplay for what I hope will someday become a series of BIONICLE films. I've begun with Takua activating the Toa Stones and the arrival of the Toa Mata, but after researching a little more, I'm wondering if I should go back to The Great War with the Matoran's battles with the Rahi. I'd welcome any thoughts on this, as well as any concepts for my screenplay. Thanks, the Kohrakazi project
  6. So there has been speculation of a new version of Bionicle (note sure if it's true or not, and I'm not very convinced yet, although I still hope). Anyway, this got me thinking about some ideas for a theoretical third generation of Bionicle and I came to the thought of what could be the possible heroes; I mean we assume that the Toa Mata will be the heroes, but do you guys think that it is important for Bionicle for that to be the case? Personally I think the Toa Mata should be present - kinda like Optimus Prime and Megatron for Transformers. However I would be interested in seeing the Toa Mata in a different role, either as the mentor's or as legendary predecessors to a new Toa team - someone like the Toa Inika, the Voya Nui Resistance or the Chronicler's Company. But that's just my thoughts, what do you guys think the role of the Toa Mata should be in a potential reboot; protagonists? Mentors? Antagonists? Not present? Something I didn't think of entirely?
  7. Hi, I have recently come across a particular Bionicle poster originally released in 2001. Most of the people on here will have seen it before or perhaps even own it but my question is: How was it obtained? Did it come with a comic? Did it come packaged in a set from 2001 like some of the other posters? I would really like to know. I did notice SuddenlyOranges (Creator of Reviving Bionicle) has a copy framed in his house so i'm guessing it's not super-rare but I could be wrong. I am aware there is an alternate version with a blue Krana-Xa buried in the ground instead of the Miru, as well as a Turaga version featuring the 6 Turaga instead of the Toa but for this 2001 Toa Mata variant, I am not sure of the origin. If someone could let me know it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
  8. The subject of this poll is simple enough: Would you want to see the Toa Mata (Tahu, Lewa, Onua, Gali, Pohatu, and Kopaka) be the main heroes of Bionicle Gen 3? (I know that a Gen 3 Bionicle is either not going to happen or won't happen for a long time, but for the sake of this question let's just assume that it's going to happen. ) For me, I could go either way. I wouldn't mind seeing them return for a third go. But I also wouldn't mind seeing new characters be introduced in a new story. I guess it would depend on what kind of story they were telling. What do you all think? Do you want to see the Toa Mata return as the main heroes of Bionicle Gen 3?
  9. 3 unopened bionicles 1x 8534 & 2 x 8536 I'm currently not looking to trade anything. I ship from UK first class international to any destination. Transactions will be made through PayPal! Let me know if you have any further questions LINK TO PHOTOS: https://postimg.org/gallery/2nhfb3hq8/
  10. I saw this question pop up in the 'Should Stone get the Boot' topic and thought that it could use its own topic to see what veryone thinks about it. That question is simple: Do you think the Toa Mata should be the main heroes of a future Bionicle reboot? I personally don't care either way. As long as it has a good story and gives development to its characters, I would be alright with either the Mata returning or new characters being the main heroes. What do all of you say about this?
  11. I recently purchased what appears to be a North American release of Onua Mata (#8532) in mint condition. Upon comparing the shape of the canister to its European counterpart, I couldn't help but notice that the NA release appears to have an extra ridge of sorts at the base that makes it stand about 2 mm taller than the other canister. A quick search on eBay revealed that no other NA editions of any Toa Mata seem to have that peculiar ridge and right now I'm thinking of attempting the impossible by figuring out just how many distinct releases (or batches) of the Toa Mata there were, available all over the world. Here are some of the variables I've been able to spot so far: Extra ridge at the base of the canister, making it taller.Distinct arrangement of graphics on North American and European canisters.North American black and white mini CD packed inside, signified with a black symbol under the set name.North American full-color mini CD packed inside, signified with the same black symbol under the set name.European black and white mini CD packed inside, signified with a black symbol under the set name, identical to the NA symbol.European gold/tan mini CD packed inside, signified with the same symbol under the set name.Poster packed inside with a clear image of the one Toa on the front and various early 2001 Technic sets advertised on the back.Poster packed inside with a clear image of the one Toa on the front (identical to the one above down to the very item number) and the Turaga and Rahi sets advertised on the back.Poster packed inside with an image of the one Toa and a sequence of all the Toa Mata on the front and the Turaga and Rahi sets advertised on the back.Poster packed inside with ads of 2002 sets on the back.I don't know if there are any other variations of the posters but I do know that there are no more than four different types of CDs packed inside. Also, the instruction booklets appear to be completely identical for every release. Can you guys take a look at your Toa Mata and tell me if I'm missing something or if there seems to be some extra merchandise packed inside that I haven't yet come across? 12. Hi everyone! I'm new, and I would like my first contribution here to be these two animations, several days spent lol. https://youtu.be/B07J9WgCxBU https://youtu.be/3WUuTqJpJ5A And a Kopaka rap! https://youtu.be/pt4jEMgSygU Hopefully they can help give Bionicle's presence on youtube a cool look.
  13. Now, as starters, I know that 1) these were meant to promote the sets, therefore being lore-friendly was secondary and 2) Toa derive much of their power from their Kanohi, and don't just get the powers associated with the mask. That said, I am a tad confused by the 2001 Toa Mata animations - I mean these - and the role of masks. So, Gali and Onua start off with their masks, which makes sense. Gali is underwater, so she needs her Kaukau and Onua is digging, which I assume requires a lot of strength. Then there is Lewa, who peeks out from behind a leaf with no Mask. I mean, don't Toa get all weak, groggy and fatigued with no Mask? Anyway, he then performs a jump which could only be cleared with the help of the Miru. I'm okay with this. Tahu, the Toa of Fire, who would still be burned to a crisp if literally bathing in lava, goes surfing in said substance, so I guess the Hau is warranted, but again, why isn't he wearing it at the start? Also, we know he'd be fine surfing on lava without the shielding power of the mask, and it's never mentioned that he ever fell in. But Kopaka and Pohatu are the weirdest of the lot. Kopaka is standing on a mountain, looking at the horizon - without his Akaku on. I mean, isn't that mask perfect for this vantage point? Anyway, he then puts it on, the mask of X-ray vision, and promptly stops an avalanche coming from behind. This is in no way related to the Akaku, in spite of what the video is implying. And finally Pohatu. So Toa get weak and tired without their masks? How about he takes a walk through a searing desert, which must have taken ages at that walking speed, without his mask. Why not use the Kakama? I mean, it's the mask of speed. Speed!. Anyway, he then puts it on, and kicks a rock. Nothing to do with speed. Why?! I mean, overall I like these animations because nostalgia, but they don't really make sense in terms of lore. What do you make of these?
  14. Due to the complicated nature of the project, I have decided to use voice actors for most of the characters instead of my sister and I doing them all. Some Background on this Universe: As some of you may know, on my channel, Surge is an ax-crazy, anti social idiot who loves electricity and has no regard for the safety of others, simply because he doesn't know he's endangering them. Also, characters from other constraction themes interact with each other, primarily the Toa Mata/Nuva and Alpha Team. To get more background on this universe, simply go to my YouTube Channel (link in bio). Most videos are simply done for fun, this will feature stopmotion and hand-free live action. Basic Plot In this film/special, Surge suddenly grows in size and power. Alpha Team attempts to stop him but fails, locking themselves underground to avoid Surge's detection. The Toa Mata, stranded on the planet, decide to stop Surge once and for all. **HOW TO APPLY** 1. Record yourself saying a quote from the character, or something you think they would say. 2. Send it to toabioniclefactory@gmail.com with the subject "BvsHF: AoA." 3. You can do multiple characters, just as long as it's hard to tell it's you for both. 4. If you are selected (and when the script is 100% complete), then i will send you a copy of it. **SUBMISSION DEADLINE: Halloween 2016** This is going to be a massive project for me, so I want to choose all the voice actors by Halloween so I can have all of the dialogue recorded by Thanksgiving. All Available Characters: The numbered list tells you what kind of voice you can do for that character. They are listed according to my personal preference for which one I would like the most. You can do any version or combination of versions, or submit your own version the way you think they would sound. For those who don't know, COTC is Chronicles of the Chronicler, a series by an old BioTuber. You should be able to find it without much issue. For the Toa's voices, I would recommend watching COTC 3 for Tahu and Pohatu (and Gali if you want). COTC 4 may be a better option for Tahu because he's more of a main character in that one. Tahu: 1. COTC 2. Toned down MoL 3. Toned down Heronexous/ CallanLoF's MATA Gali: MoL, your normal voice, or whatever you want. In this case, I don't care. Pohatu: 1. COTC 2. CallanLoF 3. Toned down MoL **Toa Kaita**: Fusions of the component Toa's voices. This will be done like the BIONICLE ANP did their Kaita voices. Baselines will be done by me, since I know how I want the lines to be said. Akamai’s baseline is Onua and Wairuha's baseline is Kopaka. Nex: Obvious Australian accent, just like the HF specials. Voltix: HF special Goons: All you have to do is various grunt noises (OOF, ow, etc), so you'll get the role no matter what, since I don't know how many I'll need.Electro/Energy (1999 Slizer/Throwbot): Based on the “I'm so stoked my dudes” meme. I may end up doing this one myself because it's so specific. **Keep in mind that other people will be trying out for for these roles and you are not guaranteed the part.**
  15. Hey guys, I am selling my entire collection of Bionicle sets. 16. Hi. In the interest of putting up a display of the Toa Mata in a display case, I recently went about combing through every single one of my childhood legos (yes, one by one... took weeks), to try to gather all of the pieces necessary to rebuild them. Sadly, being the toy-abusive child I was, many of the key components (I.E. things other than axles that are unique to the sets) are missing. Pic. related. If you guys are observant you will also notice damage to Lewa's torso at the shoulder, and more significantly, a complete break in Onua's arm (held together by an axle connector piece temporarily). This has prompted me to go about replacing them, and to go about reconstructing the Toa Nuva in this manner instead, being that I had two of each of them, and thus their pieces are more common in my old bins. Today I went about purchasing a collector pack containing Toa Mata Lewa, Gali, and Kopaka, as well as their respective Turaga, specifically set 65025, which to my understanding was a 2001 Costco exclusive. It is scheduled to arrive on the 16th, however searches regarding a similar collector pack for the other 3 original Toa have yielded nothing. To summarize my way too long-winded post... Does a Collector pack for Tahu, Pohatu, and Onua, including their respective Turaga counterparts, even exist? I find it weird that they would make a combo pack for the Kaita Wairuha Toa, and not Akamai's... Edit: Fixed a few minor grammar issues.
  17. So I revamped Kopaka Mata. Because why not. http://mocpages.com/moc.php/403030 ^Link to MOC. Tell me what you guys think!
  18. These are the two designs I came up with of what the "Toa Nui" might look like.

  20. Well, just a warning, the parody portion doesn't really begin until the third chapter, but these chapters are pretty short. The comedy (if it is funny enough to be called that) is usually pretty subtle, too, up until the fifth chapter. And another thing: if you feel upset about the way certain character is being portrayed (and by "certain character" I mean Lewa), just keep reading. It'll all be explained in the end. If confused about a certain cameo in the story, just keep reading. All will come together. It may not come together in the smoothest fashion, but it will still come together. With all that said and done, enjoy! If not, shun me violently! I don't care! Give criticism! It doesn't necessarily have to be constructive, although I would love it if it were! Chapter I Flame and Frost Tahu suddenly found himself in a grey, heavily-cratered area. He gave a start, then heard a voice behind him. “And who are you?” Tahu whirled around, unsheathing his Fire Sword. “The question is, my friend,” said Tahu severely, his eyes meeting his white-armored adversary, “who are you?” “The name’s Preston Stormer,” he replied. “And I heard a distress call in this region, meaning you’re probably the villain.” “I’m called a lot of things,” replied Tahu, “and ‘villain’ isn’t one of them.” “We’ll see about that.” Stormer removed handcuffs from out of nowhere. “You don’t believe me?” demanded Tahu. “Oh, sure, I believe you,” said Stormer, advancing. Tahu brandished his Fire Sword and charged at Stormer. Seeing his opponent’s aggressive action, Stormer drew his Multifunctional Ice Weapon, formed an ice blade with it, and parried Tahu’s blow. Tahu then channeled his elemental powers through the blade and aimed it at Stormer. The hero blocked the fire, only for his ice blade to be shattered. Taking his advantage, Tahu leapt onto Stormer, lifting his sword and letting it fall, only to be parried again by Stormer. Stormer fell back against the force of the blow, and Tahu fell with him. Tahu quickly got up, preparing to strike, but then he found his enemy on the floor, motionless. “What happened to him?” thought Tahu aloud. “His Hero Core got unplugged,” came a bitter answer. Before him was a red hero carrying a Dual Fire Shooter. “Who are you?” asked Tahu. “I’ll tell you this much: the name’s William Furno. And you just have downed my leader. You’re going down.” The hero called Furno charged at Tahu, but a blur of white interjected and Furno fell backwards. Chapter II Logic versus Stupidity Before Tahu was the Toa of Ice, Kopaka. “I’ll take it from here, brother,” came the cold voice of the Toa. “I could handle him, Kopaka,” protested Tahu, advancing. Kopaka held up his Ice Sword to stop Tahu. “I don’t doubt that,” said Kopaka. “What I doubt is whether or not I’ll have any fun. Tahu stared at him blankly. “You do know that I’m right behind you, right?” question Furno. With another flash of white and a quick, crackling noise, Furno was on the floor with his arm frozen to the ground. “You should learn to shut up,” Kopaka remarked. Furno looked at Kopaka, stunned. “I tried to access my Kakama to intervene a while ago,” said the Toa of Ice, now directing his attention towards Tahu. “It didn’t work. That tells me we aren’t anywhere near Mata Nui.” “Fair enough,” said Tahu. “We should go find the others.” “Sounds like a plan.” Chapter III Water and Friendship “Hello, animal-friends, where’s the distress signal coming from?” said Breez cheerfully, bending down to two little green lizards. The lizards directed their heads eastward. Out that way emerged a blue figure carrying… “Are those hooks?” questioned Breez. Gali saw a green figure in the distance. “Green most definitely does not fit her figure,” Gali murmured under her breath. Breez and Gali met briefly. “I have heard a distress call in this area,” said Breez. “I also have felt a disturbance in the nature. I have a feeling that you are the culprit.” “Well, before we get to that, could I just mention that green is not your color?” replied Gali. Breez did not know what happened. She just saw red, and before she knew it, she was pinning Gali on the stony floor of the Siri moon. She could not control her arms, and she threw them down and sliced Gali up with her Energized Dual Energized Boomerangs. When she could regain her composure, she stopped and got up, startled about her reaction. “Sorry,” she said politely, helping Gali up. Gali saw that Breez was an enemy. She focused upon increasing the moisture in the stone. “Well, you seem helpless and friendly enough,” said Breez. “I’m very sorry. I don’t know what happened. I assure you, I am usually very much disciplined with my anger. “Oh, well, sure; these things happen,” said Gali, trying to keep her voice steady. “Hey, wait, am I sinking?” questioned Breez, feeling odd. She looked down. She was sinking; the stone below her was now wet and bog-like. She started sinking faster and faster. She hooked her boomerang onto the stone and pulled herself out, throwing her legs out, hitting Gali in the head, and knocking off her mask. Gali was on the ground and couldn’t get up. Breez picked up the mask and opened up communications with Bulk. “Hey, Bulk, I think I found the people who were in the distress call.” “Oh really?” “Yeah, they wear these oddly-shaped helmets that apparently gives them power.” “Breez, that’s ridiculous. Everyone knows that Quaza can’t be in a helmet.” “I don’t think—”, but with that Bulk broke off his communications with Breez. Chapter IV Bulk Smash! It’s Cratering Time! Onua looked over his shoulder. “Bulk smash!” came the cry from behind him as a grey figure (supposedly named Bulk) leapt at him. Onua accessed his Pakari and deflected the attack. Bulk fell a few feet away. “Well then, Mr. Bulk,” said Onua, “I guess it’s cratering time.” Onua ran to his opponent and smashed him into the ground. Bulk quickly jumped up and threw his fist at the Toa of Earth. Onua dodged the blow and threw several small bolders at the grey hero. Every one of them hit Bulk, driving him to the floor. Onua looked at him. “I think he’s—” Just before Onua could finish, Bulk got up and pounced at him. Thinking quickly, Onua formed several large pipes out of earth and threw them on top of Bulk. Bulk saw a little moon-bunny in the way. He threw the little rabbit out of the way, and then got up and stood completely still to be met with fifty tons of steel and earth. “Oh no!” said Bulk. “I’ve been trapped! I guess I’ll just wait for three of my teammates to sacrifice their life energy for me so that I can have a force field that was meant to be used in the worst case scenario, but due to an excess level of rookie-ish moves on my part, will have to be used when there is an experienced member of the best of the best and a newcomer who seems to always win in the midst of things against one low-threat enemy.” “Okay then,” said Onua. “Have fun. I’ll be going over and saving Lewa now. Chapter V Spidersurge vs Deadlewa Lewa was strolling along, wondering exactly where he was and what had happened. He stopped when he heard a cough behind him. “Hey,” said Surge, “how is someone know whether or not you’re smiling with a mask like that?” “That’s easy,” said Lewa. “Someone doesn’t need to know whether or not I’m smiling. I’m a freaking Bionicle. Oops, just broke the fourth wall.” “I’m not going to even pretend that I know what that means,” said Surge. “Anyhow, I guess we’re supposed to fight.” “Why?” “Because the author wants us to and we’d probably be sitting in beach chairs by the shore sipping smoothies and talking about the weather without his influence.” “What author?” “Oops. Just broke the fourth wall again. Let’s just fight.” “Fair enough.” Surge ran at Lewa and tried to shock him with his lightning. Lewa instead dodged the blow and blew a gust of wind at him to throw him off balance. This worked better than he had anticipated; Surge accidentally zapped himself as a result from this ploy and was soon on the floor dancing. “I can hear dance music in the background—I guess it’s the music that the author was playing when he was writing this. Oops, I broke the fourth wall again.” Surge was left there, at this point unconscious, and Lewa wandered off. “What’s this?” he asked. “It looks like a spike-monster is trying to attack Lewa, conqueror of blue-shock lightning people.” On the floor below Lewa was a Brain crawling towards him. “Oh, they quick-come! There are a big-many now.” Brains were now surrounding him, and one managed to jump on his head. “Oh, no, what have you done to me, author? Or should I blame Greg Farshtey for creating this trend?” It was not long before Lewa was taken over. Chapter VI Stringer's Rocking Out Stringer was sitting down, his eyes closed, and listening to music. Pohatu, Toa of Stone, came along and lightly tapped Stringer on the shoulder. “Howdy, partner, do you by any chance know where I am?” he asked friendlily. “I was in the desert taking a siesta, and when I woke up, I was here.” “Oh, you’re on Siri, second moon of this one planet that is next to it,” answered Stringer. “Oh, thanks,” said Pohatu. “I don’t really know what’s happening. I guess I should stay here until I can regroup with my team.” “Well, that’s just fine,” replied Stringer. “Just come sit right down next to me and we can listen to some tunes.” “Why, thankee.” Chapter VII Revenge! When Tahu and Kopaka met up with Gali, they found that she was in a terrible mood. “What’s wrong?” ask Tahu “This weird green life form broke the tip off of my hook,” Gali replied. “I’m sorry to hear that.” “I’m not,” said Kopaka. “Well, sorry or not, she’s going to pay.” “Be my guest,” said Tahu. Water burst out of the cratered moon and created a giant wave. Within seconds Gali was lost beyond the horizon, riding on the rapids. “She’s angry,” remarked the Toa of Fire. A little while later, with a flash of green and blue, Breez was forced on the rocky ground, Gali slashing her with her hooks. Breez forced her off, threw the Toa of Water on the ground, and kept her there. Gali, however, opened the floodgates of the earth and barraged Breez with gallons upon gallons of water. “Well, isn’t that a beauty?” Tahu commented. “Let’s get this over with,” said Kopaka. He touched the water with his Ice Sword and it froze instantly, trapping Breez inside of it. “I could have done it,” remarked Gali. “Not quick enough,” replied Kopaka. Chapter VIII A Rather Strange Appearance Onua had rescued Lewa yet again. Arm over neck, Onua led the Toa of Air out of the Brain-infested area of Siri. Lewa groaned. “Onua?” he inquired weakly. “Yes?” the Toa of Earth answered. “I don’t remember a whole lot.” “Why’s that?” “Because, well, I just remember being in a dark-cave, and then everything being white. I don’t remember anything else.” “Maybe that’s because of me,” came an interjection from behind them. The two whirled around to find a figure in a red and black costume armed with several weapons. “Who are you?” they asked simultaneously. “The name’s Wade, but folks around pretty much everywhere call me Deadpool,” came the answer. “I think I may have by the slightest, itsy-bitsy chance accidentally possessed your green friend.” “Um… okay,” replied Onua. He then turned and whispered to Lewa, “Just ignore him and walk casually but rather quickly away.” And with that they left. Chapter VIV Uatu Watches “Hey, what’s that?” asked Tahu. Kopaka and Gali directed their gaze in the direction that he was referring to. Not too far away from them was a figure towering quite a few feet above the two. His head was quite disproportionate in regards to his body and he was clad in a blue cape with an equally disproportionate black collar. “Who in Mata Nui’s name are you?” inquired Gali. “And why is your head so big?” “My name is Uatu the Watcher,” replied the large figure, ignoring the last question. “Something indeed grave has happened here. You have somehow been teleported to another universe, and that section of the universe has been temporarily copied into a pocket dimension. I must find the doer of this wrong and put things—” Uatu was cut as an eruption of psychotic laughter came from not so far away. “I should have known,” he said in an amused yet grave fashion. Before Tahu, Kopaka, and Gali could say anything, Uatu was gone. Epilogue “Hello, Wilson,” said Uatu. Deadpool whirled around and drew his katana. “Oh, hey, proportionally disturbing big dude! What’s up?” said Deadpool friendlily, putting his katana away. “I have sent those poor life forms back to their homes, also wiping their memories of anything that ever happened here. Now my question is: what did you do?” “Um… well, I got in a rocket ship, hit light speed, and ended up in a different universe. I guess those weird robot dudes got tied in somehow. When I landed, I hit the green guy and somehow got fused with him. At that point I had several revelations of how we’re tied into a larger universe where people write about us. When I got attacked by those weird brainy things, I got my body back.” “Well then,” said Uatu, “you’re going to have to get a timeout for interfering with universes. Afterwards I’m going to wipe your memory, but not before making you wish that you had never been here.” The End
  21. Here is an interesting question I've been thinking about for the last few days. Which Toa Mata could you see the official Bionicle storyline do without? By this, I mean which of them could you see not be included in the story at all, as if they didn't even exist, but still follow the story with the others. For me, personally, I couldn't see the story without any of them. I like all six of them and wouldn't want to have the story without any one of them. But that is just me. I'm curious to see what others have to say about this question. Though I have this feeling that the majority of people will pick the last choice, I want to see if anyone actually could see the story with one or more of the Toa Mata absent from it. So vote away!
  22. In the year 2001 the six Toa Mata arrived to Mata Nui to destroy the evil forces that were threatening the inhabitants of the island and now... they WILL RETURN. Using Cyan sprites from "Legend of Mata Zuto" and the cutscenes from "Legend of Mata Nui" I'm recreating the events of the "Toa Mata Saga". Trailer Follow the project on IndieDB ! Some captions:
  23. Okay so everyone knows about the golden masks. The Toa Mata collected six masks for each of them, and then placed them into Kini Nui and received new golden masks for themselves that had all the powers of their original six, with stronger abilities and such. All this happened right before they descended into Makuta's lair. Yet some things about those golden Kanohi have me wondering. When they formed Toa Kaita, the masks the Kaita had were the combination of the original masks it's Toa counterparts wore. But each Toa was wearing a mask with 6 powers, wouldn't the Kaita just have a boosted version of the Golden mask? And also, even though all the golden masks have the same abilities it appears that their properties are dependent on their shape. When each of the Toa got theirs, they (conveniently) got golden masks that were in the exact shape as the mask they originally had. That probably was because of the sets and so you can tell who from who, but still... also, when they become Toa Nuva, they're wearing their golden masks, but when exposed to EP the masks change into a Nuva version having the power of the mask they're shaped as. I don't know, I just found that odd, story wise. Yes I know it's because of the sets, and it made the Toa have to collect more masks, and etc, but there must be a written code into the golden kanohi that even though it has a bunch of powers, Tahu's think's it's a Hau, so when exposed to EP it changes into a Hau Nuva, no extra abilities. Or something like that haha... what do you guys thing?
  24. This is Toa Kumo Mata from the village of Le-Koro. He is one of six powerful warriors destined for greatness. He is the standard "Toa" in my eyes. http://i.imgur.com/kPSvR4a.jpg Thank you for looking.
  25. Welcome one and all. I've always dreamt of a bionicle fighting game - a party fighter in particular akin to Smash Bros or Playstation All-stars. With this hypothetical idea in mind I created some lines set up for this sort of thing. Here are the ones I've done so far. It's all meant for fun so no, there won't actually be a game. But it's a thing to try out if anyone wants to take a crack at them, I even did a couple myself which will be provided in the topic.
