  1. Hello people! I do wanna apologize that I didn't post it here last week. The reason, I have been travelling to St. Petersburg city, and there was a "race" for my team and the other two teams. Okay enough for that, let's talk about Gali here, she is fascinating Toa, and I really love the look of Gali. But, shall I introduce for you, Gali, Master of Water (2.0 version)! More pics: https://www.flickr.com/photos/114946327@N08/sets/72157648958361383/ Video review: As always, I mentioned my opinion about her original form of it in small synopsis form, so I kinda reviewed her, but also explaining my personal opinion about her 2.0 version. But as you can see, comparing 2.0 version with pre-redesign version, she is dramatically different, especially the upper torso area, it was pain in a butt. Like, I revamped her upper torso three or four times before I got it some what better looking. Either I did it better or worse. The pre-redesign of her was "too" manly looking Gali, now that I see it in person, because of those bulkiness and those stuff. I didn't bother to build feminine torso design for her, and yes, I could have added some nuva breasts, but they're already overused. And the other reason why I did that, because I wanted to keep that printed chest part, I think that is cool looking and it gives a personality for Gali, and maybe it is necessary because it is good to match with the other Toa Okoto members. And the other thing what I want to say about Gali's design, yes, she has some bulkiness, but not bad looking comparing with her previous form. The thing is that that I have seen female characters, who were almost like in smaller role from RPG games and from the other genre type games. What I mean by that is that they were, either in healer role, or something else. But there are some cases that some of those video games, the female character is muscular, like Samus Aran in her power suit (well, maybe it was bad example, but giving a point also about Gali, why she's bulky). Secondly, this is Bionicle, and there are some cases that not every female character has feminine look or shape. The best example is Roodaka, she has female look and shape of it. While the Toa of Water (and lighting and psionics Toa, and light and shadow Toa) characters, doesn't appear with feminine look. Sure in fan fictions (or some of them) female characters have a female body look. All in all, she was kinda the hardest Toa to revamp, especially due to feminine elements. Yes, she might be bulky, but I don't mind it that much. I'm pretty happy to revamp her with new parts. But that's about it ^ ^
  2. Hello people! I originally wanted to write this after that I have written Gali's topic, but then I was TOOOOO lazy. But, ladies and gentlemen, Kopaka, Master of Ice (2.0 version)! More pics: https://www.flickr.com/photos/114946327@N08/sets/72157648995333 Video review: Okay, so obviously this might be my number one of Toa Okoto team in his revamped formm. I don't know, I just like this! >w< Okay I'm very sorry for bragging, but let's face it, I didn't expect how good looking he is in his new form (and I meant the original version of Kopaka 2015). But at first, I wasn't sure about his bulky look, but when I built him, it grew me up that I instantly fell in love his new design. But enough for that, so let's talk about the previous version of it. I was originally keeping him in "slender" type Toa, but hi was kinda out of the look of it, because the legs weren't that bulky. The spear was originally too wide due to the ice effect on the top of the spear. But other than that, I'm happy how it turned out ^ ^ Extra: Pohatu: " Hey Kopaka! Nice to meet ya! How's the day?" Kopaka: " Ugh. First a headeche and now you!? Leave me alone." Pohatu: " Say what's that drink anyways?" Kopaka: " It's none of your business."
  3. This was part of the concept I had for a Bionicle story based on planet Earth, once a crossover with an obscure cartoon I watched when I was younger. These six people were going to be the new Toa of Earth (the planet, not the element of course) in an almost Power Rangers-type style. See if you can guess what their Element would be? Also, here's Matau as a cat! Well, Matau as a cat thanks to his Kanohi Mahiki. I had a few concepts about the these human Toa having a Turaga: Most of the Turaga have either died, or have been left behind on Spherus Magna, leaving one to migrate to Earth carrying Toa Stones. All six Turaga migrate to Earth disguised as animals, carrying Toa Stones All the Turaga and Matoran migrate to Earth, living on a secluded street in a human city, with a "Mahiki Nuva" hidden somewhere to give them human (or animal) disguises. The Toa Mata/Nuva/Mistika/Phantoka as Turaga (which I drew a couple years ago) migrate to Earth with Toa Stones. I originally had Matau as a beetle but I think cats blend in better in urban environments. One more pic relating to "Toa-on-Earth"; their "morpher"/all-purpose communicator known as the Toa-Comm, formed from the merging of the Toa Stones and the six youths' cellphones. This motorcycle is known as the Toa-Cycle, and it can be augmented with Toa Tools and Kanohi Masks.
  4. I had a brainwave while showing the Toy Fair picture to my little siblings; this is how it goes: The summer villains (with the possible exception of Skull Grinder) are Toa from long ago who have been resurrected as guardians or shock troops. To be put to rest again, they need to don masks of their respective elements. Their boss ( either SG or Makuta himself) points them at the Toa, who must fight off the desperate zombies' attempts to steal their masks, while racing to not only wake Ekimu, but also find their enemies' original masks to return them to the grave. There are two obvious benefits of taking the story in this direction. First, it gives the villains built-in pathos as heroes fallen from grace. Second, it imparts the revelation that there are other Toa out there, plus the ominous subtext that, for all their snazzy upgraded powers, our current heroes could still end up just like the unfortunate forbears they're fighting. I already voiced this little theory in the topic discussing the Toy Fair picture, but I thought I'd release it into the site at large and see how many holes get poked in it. Any thoughts?
  5. Hello people! MrBT here again, and where I have been last two months? I have been busy recently, because of my college, so that's why I haven't been active here. You may remember that I showed to you my revamped Toa Okoto team? Well, I'm going to show you, Pohatu, Master of Stone 2.0 version aka revamped Pohatu I should say that way More pics: https://www.flickr.com/photos/114946327@N08/sets/72157650661224790/ Video review: NOTE: I kinda did video review of it, but it is in a small synopsis. The reason why I did this way, because there are already many of those 2015 Bionicle set reviews, so it is kinda a waste of time to revisit those pros, neutrals and cons. Well, here it is! Obviously I just swapped those new parts to replace those older parts. And yes, you may see some custom parts, especially those lower vahki legs, which they are painted in silver, in order to match the original version of 2015 Pohatu's look. And there are modificated axle parts and lightsaber sixed bar parts (which they're visible in his thigh armors. Luckily, I found some of these old technic parts, which they're in same color as Pohatu's new brown (or more likely Huki or Hewkii color), and those Huki colored Bohrok eye parts, giving a little color matching to Pohatu's color scheme. All in all, there isn't so big differences than my Pre-redesign version of Pohatu, The whole point was to change some old parts into new parts. But that's about it
  6. This took really, REEEEEAAAAALLY long to make. I wanted to cover just about every little thing about these guys I could, leaving no stone unturned (aside from the combo models, the boxes and the skull spiders, which I'll go over in the LoSS review). I wanted to make this THE definitive review of the new Toa for anyone just jumping into this. And, in case anyone's missed it, here's the Protectors review. Now, the thing to keep in mind about the Toa review... yes. It's very, very long. I am looking at all six of them in one video, after all, and there's a lot more to talk about with them than the Protectors. There's more to it than that, though. If I just went over the basic gist of the Toa themselves, the review itself would be half as long. The first twenty minutes or so are me... actually REVIEWING the Toa in the same style as the Protectors, because that's how long it took me to go over most of the finer points of them. The last twenty minutes, though, are me going down memory lane and talking about what constraction's always meant to people, for good and ill. It's mainly a much needed defense of CCBS, though, to combat the ignorance being spread by people (mostly on youtube) who say things like "You're a bad moccist if you use hero factory parts" or "If you like these new sets, you have no credibility and nothing you say should be taken seriously." There is an ALARMING number of people like this. Simply disliking CCBS is fine, but the reasons for it I'm hearing are... pretty crazy. So, I felt compelled to take this chance to push back at the ignorance being spread, to make some kind of final statement on the true value of these toys, and if any of you have been dealing with these sorts of people, this video should be some sort of catharsis for you, and maybe something to share with those people. Don't worry, there's no swear words or harsh language. I was originally going to save those final thoughts for the end of the LoSS review, but I realized they just wouldn't have a tenth of the impact then, if I did that. I had to include it in the Toa review, the new face of Bionicle that so many people disregard unfairly. Anyway, I hope this starts a good discussion. If you know anyone who you think should see this (be it the first twenty minutes or the last twenty minutes), please don't hesitate to share it with them. I made this to be THE final word on these things, CCBS an' all that. I know that sounds incredibly arrogant, like I'm making myself the man in charge, but I'm not. Just saying, if anyone gives you trouble for liking the new sets, shoot them down with this. Anything to combat the spread of ignorance. Enjoy! I rarely do toy reviews like this, so feedback is much appreciated.

  8. Takanuva, Master of Light (AKA Wacky Tacky-nuva) Was partially inspired by this MoC by a Master Builder of Takanuva vs Teridax found in a LEGO Store (The use of the Gold Mask of Water and the staff design). I ended up building this after experimenting on placing the large torso armour shell on an Inika base design. Like my Trinuma MoC, I really wanted to make it seem like it would belong in the 2015 line by adding similar action features. I also wanted to give Takanuva aspects of all his iterations throughout the years like the blaster (2008) and golden armour (2003). His weapons can be stored on his back. He has two modes - serious eyebrow mode and moustachio el furio mode (as pictured below). Full Gallery -NotS

Vahi, the Protector of Time, who used to guard the legendary Mask of Time found a suit of armor from a past time which granted him immense power. He dubbed it, "Tengen Toppa Goruden Toa" which means "Heaven-Piercing Golden Warrior" in the ancient Okotese language. He has since left the Mask of Time in the hands of other Protectors and left Okoto to pierce his fate and save a universe trapped in an endless cycle of violence. His last words to the Protector of Fire, who questioned his decision were, "Of course I must leave! Who the Karzahni do you think I am? Mine are the spear, flamethrower and blaster that will pierce the heavens and fined the mythical being Mata Nui. Farewell, brother. Do not believe in the Vahi that believes in you, or the you that believes in Vahi, but the you that believes in you." After that, the other Protectors never saw Vahi again, though they can sometimes hear the sound his finishing move, Giga Spear Slash.
  10. Hewkii's 2007 set had awesome potential, but made some really odd design decisions. I remade him to be awesome. Besides, the Nuparu I made was feeling lonely. front back pose
  11. Full body shot Here the back armor is removed to show the shoulder construct. Holding his Flame Scythe. SHORYUKEN! Brickshelf Gallery (when public) Kairyn was part of another Toa team on Okoto a long time ago. He was a fierce warrior with his Flame Scythe who also had the ability to manipulate Fire energy via his hands. However, he wasn't the brightest of his bunch, and he often overlooked vital details. He and his team were knocked unconscious by the shockwave that came as a result of Ekimu knocking the Mask of Ultimate Power off of his brother's face. 13. My interpretation of Takanuva 2015. Mostly hand-drawn with a couple of small edits in places due to bad colouring on my part I recoloured the eyes on MS Paint (yeah, I know) as they were too dark to see after scanning them. I also recoloured parts of the mask as the yellow blended with grey lines that I had drawn before going over in black felt tip. C&C appreciated for my first uploaded work Thanks guys!

Hey look, it's actually big for once, Now with more female characters, Now with more obscure characters, So obscure that you don't even see them,
  15. Here's my entry for BBC Contest #69. I decided to make a detailed Exo-Toa that features full articulation and a cannon arm. Unfortunately it sacrifices detail for function, as the solid nature of the build prevents a Toa from wearing it. Still a worthy entry though. http://www.flickr.com/photos/biomocs/16519355682/
  16. If I'm remembering correctly, the MU inhabitants in the Old!Bionicle were stated by Greg to be 85% mechanical and 15% organic, while the inhabitants of Bara Magna were the reverse. This had a lot of implications for how BM inhabitants could eat, sleep, drink, et cetera. The latest videos for New!Bionicle, however, have me thinking that the Protectors and villagers on Okoto might be more toward the BM side of things than the MU side. Other than the stuff that could be chalked up to '01-era weirdness (fishing, "clothing," etc), Baby Fire Villager is explicitly called "Son" by "Not-Vakama." This might be a figure of speech, granted, but it's still a term that was to my knowledge never used before in the old storyline. Same thing with the term "ancestors" when referring to the Protectors who found Ekimu originally. Might this indicate that families, relatives, etc. do exist on Okoto, and by extension, the Okoto inhabitants are much more organic than their MU counterparts? I doubt we'll get a definitive answer anytime soon, but it's fun to think about at least! Lewa0111 Nuva
  17. flickr | deviantART My favorite of the new BIONICLE 2015 sets! The drawing is sloppy, but I was more focused on trying to enjoy drawing again than on agonizing over my craft. I'm still happy with the final drawing, and pleased to have drawn something decent for the first time in months. If you want to see the set I based this on in detail, I've written a review right here on The New Elementary! This is easily my favorite version of Gali to date!
  18. Hello and welcome all to Glatorian Chronicles #12, which is the twelfth and final installment of the Glatorian Chronicles series! But first, let me tell new readers exactly what the GC is: This GC is, as I said before, the final installment. After this, there will be no more GC stories, even though there are other Glatorian characters in the BIONICLE universe. I only wanted to do the twelve characters released as canister sets, which with the posting of this last GC I have finally succeeded in doing. This GC, FYI, stars Mata Nui and thus is written from his point of view. Hope you enjoy it:Glatorian Chronicles #12: The Future Begins Where the Past EndsI walked through a swamp, keeping a careful eye open for a certain someone. I smelled the boggy water, heard the sounds of Rahi swimming beneath the water or flying above the treetops, felt the mud clinging to the underside of my feet, and tasted the humidity in the air. I saw the fallen stalactites scattered around the area, towering above me like the Black Spike Mountains. It was all so real that I almost forgot that it wasn’t.All these things that I smelled, heard, felt, tasted, and saw were the memories of a mask, a mask that had once walked among the living yet was not one of them. I had never physically been in Karda Nui before, but from the information I had gathered, this was how it looked just prior to my awakening. Or, I should say, prior to the awakening of Makuta Teridax in my body.As I walked across the mud islets in the swamp, I mulled over what had happened only a few hours ago. I had used a prototype of my original robot body to fight Makuta Teridax for the fate of my people and the Spherus Magnans. Thanks to the actions of Toa Tahu, I had managed to slay Teridax once and for all, saving the inhabitants of both Spherus Magna and my own universe while restoring the planet to its original state. After that, I had returned to the Mask of Life, for I had one last loose end to tie up: Toa Ignika, the spirit of the Mask of Life.Ever since Teridax forced my spirit into the Mask of Life so many months ago, my soul had dominated Ignika’s. Ignika’s soul had been dominant only once since I controlled of the mask and that when giving Toa Tahu the golden armor. Now I needed to talk with Ignika.I had never mentioned this before, but for a while now I had felt Ignika’s spirit growing stronger within the mask. At first, Ignika didn’t seem to care that I was in control, but recently it has been harder for me to remain in control of the mask. I had concluded that Ignika was trying to become the dominant soul again, although I didn’t know why. That was another reason I had rejected the offer to become leader of the new Spherus Magna. So long as Ignika was trying to reassert his control over the mask, it would be like having a ruler with a split personality: dangerous and unpredictable, maybe even worse than Teridax. As I favored peace and not conflict, I decided to figure out just what Ignika was so unhappy about. The only problem was finding Ignika. While it was true that we both shared the same vessel, our minds were not one. Therefore it was possible for Ignika to hide himself from me, as he appeared to be doing now, but I knew that I would find him eventually. He couldn’t hide forever.Just then, I heard the fluttering and buzzing of wings above me. Looking up, I saw all eight of the Karda Nui Makuta -- the ones Toa Ignika and the Toa Nuva had fought here -- flying toward me. Their weapons were drawn and they were not coming to say hello.Just as I readied myself for combat, a yellow blur shot past me. Startled, I looked up into the sky to see a single yellow-and-silver-armored Toa on a skyboard fighting all eight Makuta at once. And amazingly, he was winning.Every Makuta the yellow Toa hit with his blade screamed in pain and exploded into dust. The Makuta attempted to put up a fight, but they were clearly outmatched by this unstoppable Toa. Bitil summoned multiple versions of himself from the past, but not a single one survived the Toa’s onslaught. Icarax tried to come up from behind, though the Toa seemed to have seen that coming, for he whirled around and with one swift blow completely disintegrated the Makuta.Soon, where eight powerful Makuta once flew, none remain. Only the yellow Toa still flew, looking down at me with cold green eyes as he sheathed his sword and put away his Midak Skyblaster.“You are a great fighter, Ignika,” I said, clapping my hands. “And for that I applaud you.”“I don’t want your applause,” said Ignika as he lowered from the sky. “I don’t want anything from you, Mata Nui.”“Yes, I’ve noticed your less-than-friendly attitude toward me lately,” I said as Ignika landed. “That is why I have come looking for you. What have I done to wrong you? I cannot think of why you would be so upset at me.”Ignika looked at me coldly, but didn’t answer. Instead, he folded his arms, turned around, and sat down on his skyboard, with not even one word of elaboration for this display of immature behavior.I sighed. Ignika had what the Agori would call a very childish mind. I had seen young Agori villagers act like Ignika during my time on Bara Magna, but I had never had to discipline any of them. That was always their parents’ responsibility. Therefore I was unsure how to handle this situation exactly. So I said, “Ignika, you know I can’t read your mind. Tell me what you are so upset about.”He still didn’t look at me, nor did he say anything. I was starting to think it was easier fighting Makuta Teridax than dealing with a stubborn mask, but I didn’t give up then and I wasn’t giving up now. I needed to get Ignika to talk to me, and I knew the best way how.“Ignika, stop this,” I told him. “Would Matoro act so childishly when he was upset? Wouldn’t he tell his friends the reasons for his anger, rather than keeping it to himself and leaving his friends to guess it?”That seemed to do it, for Ignika looked up at me. His expression was still unkind, however. He was frowning and his eyes were narrowed, although I did not feel apprehensive or fear. Emotions couldn’t hurt someone unless they were acted upon and Ignika was not acting upon his emotions yet.“You’re . . . right,” said Ignika reluctantly. “I just thought it was obvious why I am angry.”“Well, it’s not,” I said. ”We may share the same mask, but that doesn’t mean I can read your thoughts, Ignika. Tell me what is upsetting you.”Ignika stood up and turned to face me. I felt power radiating from his body like heat, but I stood my ground. Ignika wouldn’t intentionally hurt me. That much I knew.“I want to be a Toa again,” Ignika said, pointing at his own body. “And I am angry because you’re not letting me create a new body for myself so I can be a Toa again.”“Ah,” I said. “I didn’t realize you still wanted to be a Toa.”“Of course you didn’t,” said Ignika, not looking me in the eyes. “You were too busy saving the world to care about the wants of a simple mask.”I wanted to argue that that wasn’t true, but I knew that Ignika was right. During my time as the Great Spirit of my body, I had never really paid attention to what happened inside of me. My focus was always on the outside, on the planets I visited and cultures I observed. I rarely thought about what the people I ruled and protected were going through. It appeared that I had done the same thing with Ignika, except on a much smaller scale. So I said, “Ignika, I apologize for not taking your own wants into account. I just did what I thought was for the greater good. I didn’t intend to upset you.”“That’s a joke,” said Ignika with a laugh. “And that’s funny because I’m not good at spotting jokes. The only thing I got to do was give Tahu the golden armor, and that was only because Tren Krom sent me a message that activated the golden armor feature. You were the one fighting Teridax and saving two worlds while I just sat by and basically did nothing.”“As you said, you gave Tahu the golden armor,” I pointed out. “If Tahu had never received the golden armor, I would never have defeated Teridax once and for all. And then we’d all be dead, Ignika, you included.”“I know,” said Ignika, kicking a nearby stone into the muddy water with a splash. “But, unless you have sand in your ears, you’d have noticed that I said that Tren Krom sent a message to me that activated the golden armor feature. It wasn’t a conscious choice on my part.”“Yet it was still a heroic deed nonetheless,” I said.Ignika looked up at me with a scorching glare and said, “Was it, Mata Nui? I’m not so sure. If I was forced to do it, how can it be heroic? Aren’t heroes the people who choose to act when everyone else chooses not to? How can I be heroic if I wasn’t given a choice to act or not to act?”“You have a point,” I admitted. “But giving you a body so you can play hero won’t change that.”Too late did I realize the mistake I made in saying that, for Ignika’s eyes flared and he said, “Play hero? You think I only want to play hero, like . . . like a child?”It was at that moment that a sharp pain resonated through the back of my head. It wasn’t physical pain, for inside the mask I didn’t have a physical body. It was a mental or spiritual pain, the kind only a spirit could inflict upon another spirit. That meant Ignika was attacking me.I cried out as I fell to my knees. The blow felt strong and concentrated, not accidental. Was Ignika trying to harm me? Or was he, in his anger, simply losing control of his powers?Whatever the case, I knew I had to calm him down somehow before he went too far.So I looked up at Ignika, whose arms were still folded and whose eyes were still cold.“I want my body back,” Ignika said, his green eyes more feral than rational. “You know, the only reason I let you control the mask in the first place was because I thought you’d let me have my body back once you completed your mission. But if you won’t willingly give control of the mask back to me, then maybe I’ll just take it back by force.”Another stab of pain in my head, but I kept my eyes locked on Ignika. I showed no weakness to him, because I now knew that he was intentionally trying to subdue me. And, with horror, I realized he would probably succeed, for up until now he had merely allowed me control of the mask. In a sheer contest of wills, I knew he’d crush me unless I could reason with him.“Ignika,” I said, struggling to raise my hand. “Don’t do this. Toa don’t force others to give them the things they want. It’s not heroic.”“Well, Mata Nui, you yourself said that I was just playing hero,” Ignika replied. “So, I can do whatever I want, since I’m not a ‘real’ Toa.”The next attack was so fierce, so powerful, that I nearly blacked out. I hit the mud and slowly started sinking in. I couldn’t even move my limbs I was so weak. His will was crushing mine, as easily as a giant crushes an ant.I couldn’t allow Ignika to become the dominant spirit or recreate his body, however. Repeating the Great Beings’ mistakes was something I had vowed to prevent at all costs. To keep history from repeating itself, the Mask of Life needed to be out of the picture, at least temporarily. And so I needed to defeat Ignika somehow, prevent him from regaining control of the mask before it was too late.At first, I feared that I would not be able to dominant Ignika’s fierce, overwhelming will. Yet, as I sank deeper into the mud, I realized that Ignika, in order to attack me, must have made a mental connection between us. If he could attack my mind, then maybe I could attack his, as well.I would not, however, attack with anger and frustration, which were Ignika’s choice weapons. Instead, I would hit Ignika with something even worse: my memories.Using all of my mental energy, I found the mental connection between our minds. This move seemed to surprise Ignika, for the pressure he was putting on me lifted slightly, but it was just enough to give me an opening. Calling upon my memories, I projected them into his mind, allowing him to see the things I had seen repeated many, many times on my journey across the universe.Whole planets at war with each other, fighting over badly-needed natural resources that they didn’t want to share. Dictators ordering the deaths of millions of innocent people for no reason other than to satisfy their bloodlust. Weapons of mass destruction blowing up whole cities, annihilating thousands of beings in the blink of an eye. Soldiers armed with deadly weapons going from city to city, killing anyone they came across, even -- or especially -- if that person was a civilian. And, finally, I showed him one of my earliest memories, from when I first left Spherus Mana: The Shattering. I showed him the massive explosion that ripped through the planet. Showed him Spherus Magna shattering into three smaller planets as the population plunged into chaos due to the catastrophe and sudden lack of central government. Showed him the corpse of an Agori that was flung from the shattered planet, which drifted by my head even as I departed from Spherus Magna to begin my 100,000 year long journey around the universe. And, without warning, I was back on the surface of the swamp at Ignika’s feet. Ignika’s will no longer pressed down on my own, so I stood back up and looked at Ignika to see how he had reacted to the memories I had shared with him.Ignika looked like he had fallen over in the mud himself, for his yellow and silver armor was streaked with it. His green eyes were no longer cold with apathy, but wide with shock and horror. For a moment, I wondered if I had gone too far. The horrors I had shown him had shaken even me and I had more experience with death and mass destruction than Ignika did. Had I shocked Ignika so badly that he could no longer speak? Had I somehow damaged his mind with the horrors that I had showed him? Then Ignika spoke. “I . . . I had no idea there was such suffering and evil in the universe . . .”I nodded. “It’s hard to believe, but I hope you now understand why I cannot allow you to become Toa Ignika once more.”“I . . . I think I do,” said Ignika, one hand on his heartlight. “But I would never do any of that.”“I know you wouldn’t, but others would,” I said as I wiped some of the mud off my hands. “Even if you did nothing, the Spherus Magnans would divide into groups: those who support you and those who don’t. They would harm each other in their zeal for or against me. Yet it has nothing to do with you, Ignika, and everything to do with me.”Ignika looked at me in confusion. “What do you mean?”“I’m an important figure to both the native Spherus Magnans and to the inhabitants of my former body,” I said. “They want me to rule them, but I know that would be foolish. It’d be best for them to learn to rule themselves, rather than relying on another powerful yet fallible being to make all of the hard decisions for them. And besides, not all of them want me as their leader. Many, I am sure, want nothing more than to see me dead.”“I see,” said Ignika, realization slowly dawning in his eyes. “I think I understand what you mean. You don’t want either of us to become dictators or somehow disrupt the new society, is that it?”“Exactly,” I said, nodding. “Under different circumstances, I would let you become Toa Ignika again. As it is, though, too many people still associate the Mask of Life with me and will associate it with me for many years to come. I don’t want people to take advantage of you in order to get to me.”Ignika nodded unhappily. “You’re right. Maybe it would be too dangerous for me to make a new body. I guess that it’s for the greater good that I remain a mask forever.”Sighing, Ignika turned away, probably to leave, but I had to say one last thing to him. He sounded so sad, which made me feel sorry for him. I didn’t want to crush his spirits, yet at the same time I didn’t want to install false hope in him, either. I would give him something to look forward to. Something that would make the inevitable years of waiting that awaited us bearable.“Hey, Ignika,” I said, putting one hand on his shoulder.Ignika looked at me, frowning. “Yes, Mata Nui? What is it?”“I just wanted to tell you that it won’t be this way forever,” I said. “Someday, we’ll return and live among the Spherus Magnans. Maybe if a new threat emerges, Toa Ignika can live once more.”“And what if Spherus Magna is never threatened by a new evil?” asked Ignika. “Do I remain a mere mask forever?”“No,” I said as I shook my head. “If the day comes when the Spherus Magnans no longer look upon me or the Mask of Life with the reverence with which they do currently, then we can return and live among them like normal people. You could even be a Toa again if you wanted to.”Ignika smiled, the first time I had ever seen him do it. “Thank you, Mata Nui. You are a kind being.”I took my hand off of his shoulder and said, “You’re welcome, Ignika. In the meantime, I think we’ll both have to be patient, because it’ll probably be a while before we can return to the physical world.”Ignika shrugged. “Before I became a Toa the first time, all I ever did was wait for someone to come and use me to heal you. I think you’re the one who is going to have to learn patience, Mata Nui.”It took me a moment to realize, but that was the first time I had ever heard Ignika joke. Before I could comment on it, Ignika started his skyboard and flew away. I stood in the swamp and watched him go, wondering what the future had in store, not only for us, but for Spherus Magna as a whole as well.I was also making plans, arrangements for where the Mask of Life would be placed until its proper time. Right now it was in the hands of Toa Tahu, but I knew a better place where it could stay until the time came for Ignika and I to return. It was a dangerous place, one that most beings could not get to, but it was, in my opinion, the best place to hide the mask. I just needed to communicate to Tahu to contact the Order of Mata Nui and then, like Ignika, I would wait.THE END of the Glatorian Chronicles. To be continued in “Dawn of the New Century.” Coming to the Epics forum late 2012/early 2013. And so the Glatorian Chronicles is finally, truly finished. It was a fun project, one I honestly didn't think I'd ever actually finish, but here I am, posting the very last story in the series, which just feels great. I should celebrate.Comments, criticism, questions, etc. are all welcomed and encouraged .-TNTOS-Edit: Made a few changes in response to Yukiko's review below.
  19. Hi guys, Thought I'd like to share something nice with you today, so have a Nuva cube and the six Nuva symbols!! The designs are available here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:386030 Stay tuned for more BIONICLE-related things! Unfortunately, I probably won't be able to design masks, since they'll take too much of my time, but I'm going to make the Keystone next. Getting the thing to connect together is giving me headaches. Of course, I could just be lazy and make the whole thing in one go.
  20. I really like the skeleton theme and thus they all look great to me. ... Skull Scorpion sucks though, Let's laugh at it. Ha ha ha ha. Its legs are less articulated than the Nui-Jaga's legs! Now, for a set using CCBS, I'd say that's quite the achievement. What prevents it from using that CCBS piece with the three ball-joints, with two sticking out, then having legs with Invasion From Below claws on the end attached...? ...if Ekimu can batle 'Big Skull Guy' as I have began calling him, why do the Protectors need to the Toa once Ekimu has awakened? THE TOA ARE THE SKELETONS AFTER THE PROTECTORS KILLED THEM IT'S WHY THEY HAVE THE MASKS

Hey all - i'm fairly new to this site, so we'll see if i did the poll thing right, but i've noticed a lot of discontent about canonizing the weapons of the mangai, mostly based on the fact that the options are just too broad. i figured i'd save us some time and just jump right to the point: should we even bother continuing discussion about the toa tools if the majority doesn't want to know about them? personally, i don't think we should decide on this, and assuming my poll works, i will be voting accordingly. with the element of the last mangai, and everyone's masks, there were/are a specific set of predetermined options we have to choose from. with the tools, it's simply too much, and there are too many opinions from too many people to consider.
  23. The "Bionicle: The Legend Begins" movie is a project I am currently working on. It will cover the years 2001-2002 leading up to the Mask of Light and will feature many Bionicle clips and maybe even some stop-motion. Make sure to turn up your volume and go to 1080p! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kOAjcWE6uE
  24. Hello, It's been a while, BZPower. Having Bionicle come back has been a wild time in my life. Never really thought it would happen, and I'm extremely happy. Anyway, onto what I have made here. The Toa Mata are now, and always be on of my favorite sets, just because of the impact they had on me. Comparatively, they were much more simple than modern CCBC sets, so I wanted to try and bring a splash of the new elements to the original sets. I chose to redesign Kopaka not only because he's my favorite, but also because I had usable colors at the time. It's not a very complex build by any means, but that's exactly what I wanted in a new Mata design, the simplicity with the poseability. More pictures here: Shield Out Standing Straight Hero Pose Action Time If more limb colors would come out I would start working on all of the Toa, but until then, I'll work on Onua. Edit: Image thumbnailed; please don't embed pictures over 640x640 pixels and 100 kB in BBC. -Wind-
  25. So this is actually a self moc of mine that I built recently. I consider it one of my favorite and more unique mocs I have made. Pls giv me fedback. http://imgur.com/FqcSnL7,t2Nw0S3,yQqOZdz,MeYVXGR#3 First one is him without his weapons. Second is him with his disc launcher (that I pride myself on deeply.). Third is with his disc launcher on his back. And fourth is him basically saying "YOU WOT M8! COME @ ME!"
