  1. Hello again. After the success of my first batch of Rahkshi posted here, a second batch was inevitable. The only question, as I kept promising they'd be here eventually, was when. Well, I'm finally posting them. Thirteen more characters from Corpus Rahkshi, a TBRPG run by Wyrd Bio Ful Araed over in Bionicle RPG. The premise, for those of you who've never heard of it, is that Rahkshi are beginning to manifest sapience, and to either train them as elite warriors or keep them under control the Brotherhood of Makuta has stuck them all in a school, known as Corpus Rahkshi. It's a load of fun to play. So with the obligatory intro out of the way, it's time to finally show the MOCs. * * * Gaever, played by Sergei Rahkmaninoff | Swiss Army Hands Gaever is my brilliant engineer with a slight superiority complex. She's extensively modified her own suit, implementing speedy spring-loaded legs, blades on her forearms, a Rhotuka launcher, binoculars, and all the tools you'd expect to find in a swiss army knife within her fingers. She shamelessly believes that by virtue of her incredible intellect and upgraded suit that she is superior to other Rahkshi, disdains the arts, and doesn't know how to speak in anything other than needlessly complicated words, though, so she's possibly not the most pleasant of Rahks. * * * Doubt, played by Ghidora131 Doubt may frequently to try to smash things with his oversized hands and the flail attached to his wrist, but mostly he's reasonably friendly, especially towards Matoran. He prides himself as being reasonably good at tinkering, and hanging from his chest on a short chain is a small watch. * * * Karzfire, played by Dallior: Rahkshi Lord Short, but strong, Karzfire is more than willing to crush anything that gets in his way with his two glowing purple hammers. Though he respects strength, his inclination for the smashing of smaller Rahkshi's heads into the living stone walls may lead to him being not particularly well-liked. * * * Blades Only | Abyssium, played by avmatoran | Staff Only Abyssium has the calculating mind of a strategist, and the combat-loving heart of a warrior. Though careful not to openly show it, he's also intent on either escaping from or rebelling against the Makuta along with his sister, Anubissium, and anyone else he trusts enough to have by his side. He's not gotten far with this, though, and unfortunately he missed out on Kat's escape entirely. * * * Kat, played by Chumpu | Action Kat is confident in her abilities and intensely loyal to her friends. She has become something of a leader, and as part of this role has revamped her suit, both repainting herself and adding extra protective armor to her upper body. Kat is one of the few level fives and most accomplished warriors in the school - and now, outside. For she has devoted her skill as a tactician to leading an escape, an attempt to bring her people out of the tyranny of the Academy to safety and freedom far away. * * * Steaming Vented Carapace | Fang, played by Click | Standing A strong believer in the virtues of freedom and morality for Rahkshi, Fang has worked alongside Kat to lead an escape for those he trusts. When Kat altered her armor to go unidentified, Fang followed suit, undoing prior modifications to his armor and replacing them with others, leaving him as lanky as ever but shorter than average and with vents along his carapace which eternally spew steam and heat. From these vents he took his alias, Vent. He may have lost his sword, but remains as dangerous as ever with his level four plasma blasts. * * * Flabbergaster, played by Ghidora131 Due to a prank played during his creation, Flabbergaster is an incredible glutton, said to be the fattest Rahk ever known. He also competed briefly for the title of most insensitive when he interrupted mourning over the death of Exxan with repeated complaints that it wasn't a real funeral, followed by a brief and easily refuted attack on Kat, but since then has managed to be fairly less annoying to most. * * * Exxan, played by Of Australian Origin... | Action A pragmatist, self-confessed nerd, and somewhere between grudging comrade and arch-rival for Fang, Exxan recently heroically sacrificed himself on the island of Visorak to hold back the hordes while his fellow Rahkshi retreated. ...Not. He survived, somehow, and made his way back to Nynrah in a plot twist every player seemed to see coming despite the fervent repeated denials of Nato (as Of Australian Origin... is known) and his confidant Click. Exxan wields the poisoned jian sword Rememberance (I think, he might have lost it on Visorak) in addition to his formidable level four Vacuum powers. * * * Poly, played by Chumpu | Action From the beginning, Poly was unstable. Which was understandable, for his Rahkshi suit - made from another New Breed Rahk - retained its intelligence, and often spoke to him mentally, urging him to violence. As time went on, though, he only became more unstable, with even a third voice manifesting in his head until finally he reached the creepily unified tranquility of three voices working as one with eery calm to preach a message of 'ascension' to all... and show those willing to listen the world through the eyes of an empty suit belonging to a Rahkshi not long dead. * * * Xara, played by Of Australian Origin... | Standing Xara is a warrior, through and through. She fights to win, and very reliably does - a fact she knows all too well. She's managed to open up out of her generally hostile, merciless manner as time goes on, though, making more than a friendship with Glass and coming to adore a Shallows Cat kitten named Sand he gave her. Her level four chain lightning and prowess as a warrior make her a valuable addition to the party of escapees lead by Kat. * * * Tangirahk, played by Lewa the Soaring Champion | Not Playing Tangirahk's unusual armor was devised by a a Makuta on a mission: create a feminine Rahkshi suit. The first Kraata to try the suit was Tangirahk, who proved satisfying to her mother, and the two grew close through music. Eventually, though, Tangirahk chose to go to Corpus Rahkshi, bringing with her only a violin as a reminder of her mother and her gentle and musical personality. * * * Recherché, played by Kaneo Takarada | Action Clad in the gloriously powerful armor of an apex predator and wielding a fearsome macuahuitl of darkest metal, Recherché is a force to be feared. In addition to his great strength and size, he possesses a positively sesquipedalian vocabulary, with which he eloquently communicates his claims of past grandeur in nearly any profession you might name. These claims are only of doubtful validity, though, for his talent would appear concentrated primarily in violence. * * * Lucid, played by Sergei Rahkmaninoff | With Plants Lucid's connection with reality is shaky. She converses with plants, walls, doors, her imaginary companion Jorflaz, and chairs. (Though never the floor - only someone really off their rocker would talk to the floor.) Her belief that the stars hold the wisdom of Fate is unshakeable, and she claims that she can tell a person's name by reading their palm. Don't be surprised when she warns you there might be Worflanges in the caves nearby, or Dervaki is planning on stealing your slipper, or something even more bizarre. But pay attention, and occasionally you might find that in coexistence with her absolutely loony worldview there lies great wisdom in her words. And if she hits her head and speaks of the future in a powerful faraway voice, take heed, for twice before her prophecies have come to pass. * * * Once again, you can check the full-size qallery (when it's public) if you want ridiculously large versions of these images. Anyways, there you have it: thirteen further characters from the Corpus Rahkshi RPG, as envisioned by myself. Regardless of whether you avidly play the RPG or haven't the faintest idea what it is, constructive criticism, comments, and of course upvotes are all very much appreciated. Even if you don't care to leave any of that, though, thanks for looking through my work. I hope you enjoyed it.
  2. For some reason the title got cut off and I don't know how to change it. Anyways. This is a bit of a strange topic, but I thought it was interesting enough to post. Which of the basic six elements do you feel most connected with, and why? Which element would you give to an original character that you made? Was it the element of the first set you've ever gotten? Or is it for a different reason? I'm mainly asking because I'm having a hard time figuring out this very question. I want to make a Matoran original character for Gen 2, but I'm unsure of what element to give him. I chose air last time for Gen 1, but that was over 11 years ago.
  3. Over on the RPG forum, I'm known as that guy who makes excessive numbers of characters for every new game that starts up, and the Bionifight Infinite RPG - where beings from all over the Bionicle multiverse are abducted into a huge fighting tournament - is no exception. I've gotten a lot of positive comments about my LDD MOCs of my characters from the other players, so I decided to create a topic and share them all here (a word of warning, the images are pretty big; my fault for not making smaller versions). ____________________________________________________________ First up, we have Xara, a favourite character of mine that I brought over from Corpus Rahkshi. A Rahkshi of Chain Lightning, she's come close to winning rounds several times in the tournament, but always seems to fall just short of victory - a source of endless frustration for her. Next we have the Dark Toa Dayeth, an alternate universe version of one of my Matoran characters from the BZPRPG. Although she's supposed to be evil, Dayeth's done little more than be a nuisance to every one and thing in the facility. My next character - The Wyrm - is from an alternate universe where the GSR died, condemning most of its denizens to a slow demise in darkness. Descended from the rahi who escaped onto the island of Mata Nui, The Wyrm had been in the middle of fighting a guerrilla war against invading Vortixx before being abducted into the tournament. The Puppetmaster is a Great Being who - after experimenting on himself - wound up with a form identical to that of a Glatorian, albeit with translucent blue skin and a severely damaged psyche. His desire to build and create is gone, replaced with an insatiable lust for destruction and control... This next character - Terry Terrix, the Tarakava Hunter - started off as a joke in the Bionifight Skype chat. Yet somehow, despite having treads for legs and his only weapons being a pair of boomerangs, he wound up winning the third round. Snarl is an energy hound who, due to being experimented on by the Order of Mata Nui, wound up with several new powers and Matoran level intelligence. The problem is, since he can't talk, most being dismiss him as a mere mindless animal. Of course, they soon learn how wrong they are.... Alisa Dare comes from a backwards universe where the Brotherhood of Makuta are the good guys, and Order of Mata Nui are a band of chaotic anarchists. A loyal servant of the Makuta, Alisa very nearly died in the process of defeating the evil Toa of Light, Takanuva. Where do Kaitas go when they're no longer needed? Dekako knows. Another character I carried over from Corpus Rahkshi, Dekako was left to be forgotten after her component beings decided to refrain from forming Kaitas. Through sheer force of will, she found a way to manifest herself on the corporeal plane, thus becoming a living being in her own right, no longer dependent on the actions of others in order to exist. The reformation of Spherus Magna allowed the forests of Bota Magna to be explored for the first time in thousands of years. Among these explorers was the Glatorian Falcon, who rescued and raised a young wyvern named Vyne to help him with his primary occupation: hunting. Finally, we have the renowned pirate Captain Miril from the so-called Halkenverse. A newcomer to the tournament, she's seen broadcasts of previous iterations of the game, and - being a huge fan - is honoured to have been selected for this one.
  4. I made some characters from Tiragath's TBRPG, Matoran Und Panzer because I felt like it. Arkie is one of my characters. She's the Ko-Matoran gunner on the Jatikko, and my second character. Arkie was the first of the Matoran here to have a custom torso. Zeleran is Sil's Steltian Elite, the commander of the Jatikko- this one was technically a collaboration between me and Sharkydane, but most of this final design came from me. The head was the most challenging part- replicating Sidorak's head in LDD wasn't easy. Talking about Sharkydane, here's his character Gamma! Gamma's the loader on the Jatikko, and he's pretty much hopelessly in love with Arkie. Gamma quite possibly has the laziest torso design here. The mask is a Great Huna. Back to my characters, here's Lohi and Shreddah Klawz! Lohi's a maniac, currently on a rampage in the city of Seize in his exosuit, Shreddah Klawz. I built Shreddah Klawz exactly to scale- it's slightly taller than a Skakdi, which is how they are in-story. This is One-Eyed Construct's character Sora. I would say she's easily the weakest build out of all of the ones here. She's a Ce-Matoran and the radio operator on the Jatikko. I was trying to emulate the Kakama using the Evo 2.0 helmet. And now finally, for the last one, we have Suko, another of my characters. He's a grumpy, near-alcoholic Ta-Matoran from Treize who's the gunner on the Venture. The mask is meant to look sort of like a Great Huna. Comment, criticise, and join Matoran Und Panzer!
  5. So I was wondering, has anyone ever built any of the fan created canon characters from the contests, like Tahtorahk or Krakua? I have all the pieces I need to build Tahtorahk, but for Krakua, I am missing only the hand pieces. The real problem is the lack of instructions. I would also like to build some of the Rahi from the Rahi Beasts book, a lot of those would require instructions...
  6. Hi, guys! As the title says, what Hero Facotry character would you want to dress as for Halloween? I know Halloween happened a week and two days ago, but I am just asking. A Hero Facotry costume doesn't have to be real or fake. It could be either way (even though there are no Hero Facotry costumes existing as much as I know). For me, I would dress as Bulk, Stringer, Thunder, Rotor, Von Nebula, Drilldozer, Fire Lord, Rocka, Raw-Jaw, Black Phantom, Splitface, Core Hunter, Pyrox, Bruizer, Ogrum, Frost Beast, or Splitter Beast. I know it's a lot, but these are the characters that I feel would prefer to dress as. So, there. You see what I mean? Anyway, what about you guys?
  7. Hi, guys! As the title says, what Bionicle character would you want to dress as for Halloween? I know Halloween happened four days ago, but I am just asking. A Bionicle costume doesn't have to be real or fake. It could be either way. For me, I would dress as Ouna, Pohatu, Takutanuva, Whenua, Krekka, Keetongu, Voporak, Nuparu, Hewkii, Reidak, Avak, Axonn, Carapar, Gadunka, Karzahni, Chirox, Bitil, Malum, Stronius, Tuma, Mata Nui, or Makuta Teridax. I know it's a lot, but these are the characters that I feel would prefer to dress as. So, there. You see what I mean? Anyway, what about you guys?

  9. As the title asks, which Chima characters do you think would be great as constraction figures? They don't have to be potential future sets, so even minor characters or non-set characters from 2013 would be OK. It can even be an alternate costume of a character who's already been a constraction set, though keep in mind that the costumes, weapons, and color schemes of the constraction models rarely match the corresponding minifigures. From last year's characters, I would love to see a Windra constraction model. Worriz's head piece is not specifically gendered, so it could easily be recolored and printed without facial scars (and maybe even with eyelashes) to represent Windra. Also, her color scheme (same as the Wolf Legend Beast) is awesome! Crug would also be amazing, since his color scheme is so different from the other crocodiles. He could use a brown Cragger head with a silver jaw, and he could use the brown paw pieces from Ogrum as muscular shoulders. Lagravis would be another great character. He's a major character with a color scheme distinct from Laval, the other lion character who has appeared as a constraction set. G'Loona would be fun as a "child" character. But at the same time, a child character wouldn't make a whole lot of sense from a story perspective, since characters like G'Loona, Skinnet, and Wonald are not old enough to use CHI, and the constraction sets are ostensibly supposed to represent the characters' CHI-enhanced forms. Among 2013 characters, it would be great to see the spider tribe leader Spinlyn and the scorpion tribe leader Scorm. Sparacon and Scutter are also interesting spider and scorpion figs, but their story importance is not quite so great, and also I like the idea of one tribe's fig being bipedal while the other has multiple legs. Spinlyn is also a female character, which is great for diversity's sake. A bat like Blista would be cool but not nearly so unique, since there are so many Chima characters with wings. Still, if there were a constraction wave based on this year's first wave, you'd probably want him to complete the villain trifecta. All three could use Tr. Bright Green weapons instead of Tr. Blue or Tr. Red weapons like last year's heroes and villains. Post your own suggestions and how you think they might be able to be designed!
  10. Rhea Heartsflame is a toa of plasma written by Shadowhawk in the BZPRPG. Also, this is my first fully digital illustration. C&C always appreciated! This took about 3 hours from start to finish. Also, keep checking on this topic for images featuring Rhea (such as decked out in her equipment, action shots and a certain "special surprise")! (Click image for larger resolution.)
  11. Hey guys, it's finally time for new Art! Nuju Metru unveiled the Dasaka in the BZPRPG and so, I can finally show them here as well: Commodore Ayiwah, commander of the Rora's nautical forces Princess Yumiwa, daughter of the Rora Kuno, firstborn son of Clan Fursic Dasaka Classes and subspecies. Hope you enjoy the images and stay tuned for more art in the future! =)
  12. Maybe it's because I'm looking at this from an elding fan's perspective, but I sort of feel like there was a huge opportunity wasted when we never got any sets, (Toa, Matoran, Turaga or whatever other species adhere to the elements) of any other elements aside from the "big 8". The "big 8", are obviously supposed to mean the six main Toa elements, as well as Light and Shadow. OK, this isn't entirely true, in the Bara Magna story years we got Gresh, Vastus, Sahmad and Telluris. However, that seems like too little, too late, and Gresh and Vastus still got air powers anyway. How cool wouldn't it have been to have an actual main storyline Toa team in which all of them are of other elements? Looking back, I think the best opportunity for this would've been the Voya Nui/Mahri Nui storyline. To use some recognition, they could've used Krakua, and have had the OoMN gather other Toa from across the universe to set out and stop the Piraka (which also didn't have to be the six main elements) Heck, why not make the Voyatoran (Garan, Piruk, etc.) into other elements? What do you think?
  13. Here's the deal: I'm the only one I know not on the internet who loves Bionicle. So when friends, classmates, whoever asks the question, "What's your favorite book?" I have a real hard time explaining that I love Bionicle more than anything I've ever read, and why I love it. I actually love it because it's the only book series I know that is a universe about just robots with serious emotions--no humans. That's one reason why it's awesome. But I love literature, film analysis, and literary analysis as well. Being in the middle of my busy life, I don't have the time to score through great works of literature, so here's my question: What works of literature could you compare with the Bionicle books and movies? Anything. Characters, events, identity crises, emotions, locations of Bionicle that can be compared to literature. We, as fans, already know that Bionicle is worth our passion, but this would give people who see the word LEGO on the covers proof that Bionicle is not just a 12-year-olds' ambition to buy toys. Greg worked too hard for it to be just that.
  14. Meet Tenebrae. He is a male Odinan who wears a Great Mask of Healing, and wields a Greatsword, and a combination shield/iron sphere shooter. An original inhabitant of Odina, he fought back after the Dark Hunters took control, but was forced to flee once the battle was lost. He made his way to the Southern Continent, and became a smith and warrior. When they fled underground, he continued his ways.Front/BackMeet Nemus. 16. There are many things I could have done to enjoy my last few hours of Premier Membership perks... but none of them like a good old Contest! This time, the contest is subdivided in three separate categories. The winners will be featured in the following stories of the Fractures Universe. To make a long story short, in this alternate universe Teridax never existed, but the Brotherhood carried on their plans of contest, leaving Metru Nui as the only free land remaining. Now the City of Legends has become a multicultural society, much like in The Kingdom. A new faction, the Cult of Darkness, has appeared and is planning to terrorize the city. Most importantly, you have the chance to design some of their servants/troublemakers! NOTE: The Fractures Universe and all the characters mentioned don't belong to me. Matoro1 is the creator of the Fractures Universe, and he wrote the contest rules. I'm just helping him to get some more entries. Category 1: Convict In the opening chapters of Judgement Day, the following story in the Fractures Alternate Universe, I'm going to have the Toa battling two previously-captured convicts, who have been released from the dungeons beneath the Coliseum for the Toa to train against. One of these characters is a mutated Fe-Matoran Brotherhood Servant who I have already created, but the second convict fighting for a reduced sentence is unknown. If you choose to enter this category, you will have to build said convict, give him/her a brief backstory explaining what crime they commited, which Toa captured them, and what abilities they possess. Please note that I don't want anything overkill, not a massive, huge, bulky, complex titan. I'm looking for something about as complex as a Glatorian or a Toa with a consistant color scheme. This character will only play a minor role in Judgement Day. Additionaly, and only if requested, Matoro1 may revamp a creation of the winner. Category 2: Matoran Crafter Recently, the Cult of Darkness has been forced to make use of Matoran labour. They've used a suicide bomber Matoran to destroy one of Metru Nui's dams, they're going to use another to keep their servants in check, and now they've hired some Matoran builders to construct a base for them, which will appear in Judgement Day. However, to check that the containment cell in this new base in escape-proof, Mudro (the leader of the Cult of Darkness) kidnapped one of the builders and locked him in it, to see if he'd been conned. Unfortunately, he had not been and the unfortunate Matoran was left to die in the cell. In this option, you have the task of building that Matoran. It has to be male but it has to be one of the stronger types of Matoran; such as a Po-Matoran, Onu-Matoran, Fe-Matoran, Matoran of Magnetism, or a Ba-Matoran. Obviously the Matoran has to stay true to his respective color scheme (so no blue Po-Matoran) except in the case of a Ba-Matoran or Fe-Matoran. The winner of this contest will have their Matoran crafter feature inJudgement Day, where the crafter will have a chapter written from his perspective, and their creator will have BobTheDoctor27 write a chapter for their fan-fiction story or can have a free MOC request built by him, if asked. Category 3: Characters As the final option of the contest, in the final chapter of Over Your Shoulder (the current epic of the Fractures Universe), I'm going to set the story in a bar, where Tollubo, the main protagonist, is getting wasted and I need another male character for him to pick a fight with. Now, this option does not require you to build anything, but I would like anyone who wishes to enter this section to decide on the character's: Species Name Basic Personality Immediate History The winner of this contest will have their described character appear in the final chapter of Over Your Shoulder. --- Remember that you can enter as much or as few categories as you wish. Please enter, and have fun MOCcing! Fins aviat, The First Speaker.
  17. It’s a brand new day, and the evil Doctor Drake, notorious holder of a Ph. D in Matoran-era history, walks up to the general bulletin board in the center of New Atero, armed with his trusty hammer, an extra large Skall knife, and a challenge painted in bright red letters. HISTORICAL CHARACTER RECLASSIFICATION NOTICE Character: Makuta Teridax Class: Honorable Hero (Challenges to this reclassification are invited to meet me in my office in twenty minutes) Doctor Drake Lawyer: That’s bad PR. You’ll be dead in twenty minutes. Doctor Drake: Not if I can prove it. (Twenty minutes later, the six Toa Nuva appear in the Doctor’s office, not withstanding Tahu, looking especially irritated, and Vezon, because he likes the Doctor for some reason not worth mentioning) Doctor Drake: You have come to answer my challenge? Tahu: Yes. Teridax was a murderer! Doctor Drake: Well, he murdered a bunch of Makuta who were rooting the minds of innocent Matoran in Kini Nui, and a few hundred Rahkshi that he created. Of course, that was to defeat the evil Voporak, so I’m willing to excuse his personal self sacrifice. Gali: Not to mention a boatload of Rahi and Matoran. Doctor: Which are not further infesting this planet, contributing to more than their share of problems for the native inhabitants. Tahu: Such as? Drake: Overpopulation, for one thing. Gali: How dare you! Teridax nearly killed the Great Spirit Mata Nui! That would have nicely solved your overpopulation problem, you scoundrel! Drake: He also waylaid the Barraki with his own attacks, allowing the valiant Toa Mahri to send Matoro to save Mata Nui’s life. Lewa: Just so he could take the robot over. Drake: Which allowed the Great Spirit to arrive here, and power up the hunks of junk in the desert, which further facilitated the restoration of this planet. Lawyer: You are insane. Drake: Excuse me? Lawyer: No, I was talking about him. (He points to Vezon, who is enthusiastically nodding along with everything Drake says) Onua: You forget that he caused needless pain and hardship for countless beings, not to mention unnecessary deaths. *looks at Gali* Vezon: I did? Onua: (Ignoring Vezon) He also is responsible for my fellow Toa’s …transformation…due to the insidious Rahkshi armies. Drake: In other words, he built up your character to lead the Matoran on this planet, to prepare you. I would expect nothing less from such a great leader. I am sure your final test – he gestured to Tahu – will further benefit you in ways unexpected. Vezon: Thank You. Pohatu: What are you trying to gain by this? Teridax is dead. Drake: It is not wise to speak ill of the dead. Vezon: I’m not dead! I’m not dead! Lawyer: We know. Tahu: For the sake of peace in our society, you are under arrest. Drake: I am simply a conscientious objector. You have no right to arrest me. Lawyer: And what point would that serve, other to create unnecessary hassles on my client, sir? Drake: Well, he is part Makuta. Vezon: I’m not dead. I mean, he’s not dead…wait… Pohatu: I think we need some time to think this over. Agreed? He looks around questioningly at the irritated Toa. One by one, they stomp out the door, Tahu smashing the threshold in raw fury. Vezon follows. A few seconds later, a Spiket cart charges past, nearly running over the Skakdi. At the last second, he flips out of the way. Vezon: I’m not dead! Drake: And neither am I. Lawyer: It’s a good thing I didn’t bet on that one. So who’s next on the list? Mata Nui? Drake smiles menacingly. Drake: No, pal. Remember, the Great Spirit is off limits. His flaws have already been categorized by the Authority on such matters. But as for the next challenge…that is for me to know, and you to not find out. He settles back in his chair, deep in thought. Doctor Drake sits up in his chair. fishers64: So you’re going to answer a few questions about this comedy. Drake: Isn’t that your job? Lawyer: It’s my job! I’m head of public relations! fishers64: Very well. The Lawyer will now answer questions relating to this comedy. Can I guest star in this comedy? Lawyer: It’s an extremely dangerous proposition, but you may enter the highly dangerous world of this comedy to defend your favorite character from the tyranny of the Doctor. While I would advise against this, opposite rules apply. You may choose to defend your favorite hero from being classified as a villain, or you may try to prove that villain is really out to destroy the world. How often will this comedy be updated? Lawyer: As soon as the Doctor can come up with a new challenge, which usually takes about a week. However, if a lot of people are attacking his positions, he usually tends to accelerate matters. (And for some reason, fall weather makes his mind slow down – I haven’t quite figured that out yet) Are there any specials planned for this comedy? Lawyer: That’s a question for our humanoid liaison. fishers64: Maybe if we get a lot of guest defenders for a particular character, we’ll do something special. Other than that… Doctor: That is for me to know, and you not to find out. fishers64: We have to tell them about K- *Doctor slaps hand over fishers64’s mouth* Okay! Okay! Fine, I guess that wasn’t part of the contract. Lawyer: No, it most certainly was not. fishers64: If you dare, join us next time on Spinning Doctor Drake! *looks at Doctor and the Lawyer* We’re all right…kinda.
  18. To those of you from the Epics library that came here, I apologize for the delay in posting this; for those of you browsing the BBC forum, you shouldn't really care because you never heard me make the unkept promise to post this topic soon! http://www.bzpower.com/board/public/style_emoticons/default/tounge2.gif Anyway, these are my MOCs for a number of characters from my epic Lightfall. The central hub for Lightfall is the review topic. If you are just looking for some MOCs to critique, feel free to jump along as I have several MOCs here I could use critique on to improve my skills. If you have been following my epic, you can tell me how the characters shped up compared to your vision of what they might have looked like. Here they are.Tignioni: For those of you oblivious to my epic, he's a Toa of Fire who hails from the Southern Continent. He came out pretty much how I wanted him to. The weapon is one of my personal favorite parts of his construction, as is the accompanying scabbard on the back. Well, I suppose it isn't a scabbard if it doesn't slide in, but you get my train of thought.GalleryFrontBackWeapon sheathedWeapon sheathed - back viewPoseSwordEmeder: He's a Toa of Air from a small island off of the Northern Continent and who's haunted by his past. This one also came out how I meant for it to. Simple, straightforward, but with a custom body.GalleryFrontBackPosePose 2Interior of custom body. Avatoran torso, Vahki hips, Inika chestplate all together in one amalgam. This is the inside so you can see how it all got fit together.Imegna: This Toa of Psionics resides in the mountains of the Northern Continent. Highly customized body.IF YOU ARE FOLLOWING THE EPIC: Do NOT look at this first. Look at my artistic rendition HERE instead. This MOC did NOT come out how I intended for her to look and you will get this radically different vision stuck in your head if you look at it first.IF YOU ARE NOT FOLLOWING THE EPIC: Go straight ahead. Comment on how the MOC turned out as a MOC, but it isn't how I envisioned the character. Tell me what you think of the custom build.FOR EVERYONE: This is purely here for the purpose of critique so that my skill my be improved; it is a blatantly inaccurate representation of the character. Now for the MOC:GalleryFrontBackSidePoseCustom Build Close-up & DeconstructionRynekaad: This Toa of Magnetism has added external armor and much of his original armor coloration has faded due to exposure to corrosive chemicals in the place he goes. He's a mercenary, but he does not see himself as a freelancer. He feels that those that are on top of society have earned their position there and that if they can afford his services, their laws deserve to be enforced, whatever those laws are. The legs have interlocking kneecaps and I expect them to be a bit controversial - they are supposed to look bulky, but I don't know if it reached a point where it actually might be detracting from the MOC. Hopefully, not. His build is very assymetrical. Backside didn't come out too well, but this still is one of my favorites in retrospect.GalleryAngle 1Angle 2FrontBackInterlocking kneecapGorrellian Hound: These Rahi will appear in a sequence in Part 4 of Lightfall. I don't feel this is really a spoiler. I was not happy with how these came out, but I had to keep constrained to the limits imposed by my fanonical description and therefore settled on this. Tell me what you think. They aren't my best Rahi MOCs, but they will give all you readers out there a little teaser of what is to come.GalleryFrontBackStalking aroundI just threw a lot of MOCs at you and you probably look like this: Take a breather, and then tell let the reviews commence! :POnce again, if you are interested, the central hub for Lightfall is the review topic, linked up at the top here and in my sig.

  20. Inspired by "Most Wasted Character" topic. What character did you think you saw too much of in the Bionicle story? I would have to say Toa Tuyet. She had a nice back-story in "The Many Deaths of Toa Tuyet" and I feel the ending has enough closure as is and did not need anything added. It was neat when we saw her cameo in 2007 in the Pit, and I was fine with that. But then, her plot got kinda twisted I thought. In an alternate universe, she was in total control and had brought the entire MU to its knees. That part I didn't find bad, really, but I didn't think it added much to her character. And now we see that Toa Tuyet, as a matter of fact, never died in the original MU (that we were first introduced to in 2001), thus making the ending of "The Many Deaths of Toa Tuyet" kinda moot in my opinion. Also, the conspiracy to keep her alive just seemed really out there. They got another Toa Tuyet from another dimension with crystal fragments in her armor so the "original" could be free. To me, this is where I got sick of seeing Toa Tuyet, I just thought it was far-fetched and I think her original appearance was enough for her character as a whole. So, is there a character that you feel similarly about in the Bionicle story?
  21. Hello!! this is Toa Aerrow, and i have decided to show you my Hero Factory Characters. some are just like the sets, others are slightly different, and the rest are completely different. to place all the pics in this post would make it ridiculously long, so this is just the Index and all-around Reviews/Talkback topic. this post will be updated during today/this week (week if it takes longer), so you may need to check back later.
  22. While it has been made the case that the Golden Skakdi Guy is Zaktan. While it would make sense in the creation of the being (green mist= prododites) I'm not particularly sure the personality of the Golden Being really fits Zaktan.Whoever it is doesn’t seem to have a lot of ambition, mostly sitting around his/her fortress enjoying themselves until a disturbance shows up. I’m not sure I read that as Zaktan, exactly, who nursed dreams of conquest. Zaktan was a member of a gang of thieves for years, who weren’t content to sit around sipping tea. I think if Zaktan got power like that, he’d go around clearing his long revenge list, starting with some Toa Mahri and one Order of Mata Nui. Even if he had some lesser power, I’m not sure Zaktan would keep the Toa Mahri as pets – he’d kill them. Zaktan was part of an organization that viewed Toa as expendable: why would he keep them around? Was it his "dream" to have an army of Toa at his command? The Golden Being seems to be charismatic, and Zaktan was hardly a charismatic individual, more like a savage schemer distantly related to the Master of Shadows. I’m still tempted to go with Krahka instead. She sat around under Metru Nui for years, so she would be accustomed to enjoying her fort, and she might be content to fulfill people’s dreams and enjoy herself. The Golden Skakdi’s nature almost fits a contented beast, only when attacked does it pull out his claws. Not knowing who the Toa Mahri were, she probably wouldn’t harm them. She did nurse dreams of conquest, but I think she would be more patient, seeing as she waited for years in the Fikou web for visitors. And she does have the power to assume a mistlike appearance (read Challenge of the Hordika). So, what do you think?

  25. OhboyohboyohboythisshouldbeFUN! I haven't done one of these in MONTHS, so today I bring not one, not two, but FOUR characters teasers! So, yeah. Four characters today, woo! I'll introduce them one at a time, so as to not get incredibly stale fast. First, I thought I'd start off with another antagonist, someone along the lines of Team Rocket in the Pokémon anime (though not as lame... ) This fellow has been mentioned in several character teasers in the past, and is an enemy and rival to not only Kovian, but his friend Dothe as well. Quite egotistical, this fellow does not take criticism well -- and for good reason. Ladies and gents, I present Jocra, otherwise known as Summoner. Who is he? What are his powers? Jocra is, for one, named after one of my former RL friends, using the same naming scheme of such characters as Johmak and Tobduk. He's a veteran Dark Hunter with the power to summon the dead -- hence his codename. He is also able to utilize Madusa vision if he so wishes, turning those who look into his eyes into stone -- more than once he has tried to transform Dothe and others into 'decorations' for the Shadowed One, and has failed in most instances. It is said that the only way for the transformation to be reversed is by killing Summoner -- no easy task, mind you. In terms of back story, Jocra hails from a tribal island. Throughout his life, he studied the dark arts, learning how to use voodoo spells and such to take control of the dead. Eventually he had a run in with a a Higher Deity, who cursed him with the permanent ability to raise the dead as well as the power to turn beings to stone -- with a warning that for each body destroyed, with each enemy killed, his home would become more and more twisted. Ignoring this, Jocra went on what could be described as a crusade with his powers, though few took kindly to the zombies attacking their homes; soon enough Jocra's own land was little more than a nightmarish, poisoned realm, and his armies were destroyed in a mass rebellion. Dejected and defeated, he left, and was eventually recruited into the Dark Hunters. Jocra is cold, heartless and incredibly egotistical. From his point of view, the fact that his island is gone gives him free reign with his powers, meaning that he no longer needs to be careful of who he fights or how many corpses he raised -- essentially granting him ultimate power. Summoner is among the many Dark Hunters who wish to defeat the Shadowed One and take control of the organization, though unlike the rest, he actually possesses the ability to do so, even if he does lack the skill. Despite this, he is plotting with his closest (for lack of a better word) friend, Fragmenter, attempting to devise the perfect plan for such an act. ... Yeah. I feel like I repeated a bunch of stuff... a lot. W/e. Who does he work with? Against? As stated above (a lot) Summoner is a Dark Hunter, and as such works for the Shadowed One, even if he doesn't like it. He is essentially Fragmenter's permanent partner in crime, and the two have become close accomplices. Other than that, their alliances are to themselves, as they seek to take over the Dark Hunters, thoguh for now, they are willing to follow the Shadowed One's orders. Summoner and Fragmenter, like the Dark Toa, are rivals to Kovian and his group, much like the Dark Toa. Unlike the latter, however, Summoner has no respect for Kovian or Dothe, causing mutual dislike amongst them. He will also not hesitate to attack those 'below' him on Dark Hunter territory, challenging them to duels to the death... and usually winning. Final thoughts? Summoner is cocky. Unsurprising. One might think that he will have a lesser role because of this, but as shown with Dagaeris and Tox in Night Ride or Draco Malfoy in Harry Potter, even cocky individuals can prove very important to the story... Oh, and random bit of trivia -- Jocra uses the Tobduk/Johmak/Jerbraz naming scheme in that his name is the combination of the first and last names of one of my ex-friends. This naming scheme is used by a lot of other characters in DD/BU, including but not limited to Coar, Céris, Kythos and Talsim. Anyway, second up would be a very sneaky, snaky person, and the final member of the Dark Toa. Terror, Rage, and Technology... All of those are fine and dandy, but what would a group of cliché Toa be without a Toa of Poison? Yup; this is who I will be detailing next -- transformed from a MAtoran and into a Toa of Poison, Kasen brings another threat to the story, partly through ways listed here, and partly through ways that you won't know until he story starts. Who is she? What are her powers? You already know the backstory to these Toa by now -- they were Matoran picked up by a group of Dark Hunters and subsequently transformed into five Dark Toa of Fear, Technology, Anger, Poison (as shown here) and another element that you won't know until you know. Kasen is a Toa of Poison, and just like the rearranged version of her name implies, she's a snake -- extremely sly, very quiet, and quite manipulative, many times she needs nothing more than her words to get her job done. Should her tool die, she will turn to her Mask of Disguise to change her appearance and destroy her damage from the inside out -- either way works for her, really. Kasen is a master combatant when it comes to long range combat, using poisoned darts to her advantage. She's an excellent hand-to-hand combatant, too, being able to paralyze beings by hitting them in the right places, usually after using her flirtatious ways to stall them. All in all, she's deadly. Not much else to say about her. Who does she work with? Against? She's part of the Dark Toa. She's against Kovian and co. For more details look for the Terror/Rage entry or the Anomaly entry. Final thoughts? See above. Kay; third on the list is a Matoran of Air with the unusual ability to copy other beings powers, temporarily shutting them out form their own powers when he does so. This Matoran, if you read what I wrote of Innocence, should be vaguely recognizable, as he made an appearance there. His name? Loky, though he doesn't mind the nickname of Face. Who is he? What are his powers? Loky hails from a Matoran trading outpost called Iikol, somewhere near Stelt. Not much is known about him, though he was in the area at the time of Toa Exaina's death, sometime after she had created Exa-Nui, and was interrogated by a Vortixx named Diax later as a result, as he had been accused of committing the crime -- reasons included the appearance of a shadowy Vortixx-like figure at the scene, the finding of several of Diax's possessions in the area, and the overall attitude of the Vortixx. Regardless, Loky provided Diax information on what had occurred, and was left alone after that. Between that time and Dark Deeds, Loky took part in an experiment in which he was granted the ability to temporarily steal another being's powers for up to an hour. Unsurprisingly, he ended up misusing this power on one of his not so good days, and was promptly inducted into the Dark Hunters. It was around this time that Kovian joined, and being a rather loyal figure in comparison to the Toa, the Shadowed One assigned them to work together on their first mission. Despite initial hostilities, they got over their differences and [DATA CORRUPTED] Loky is a very mellow being, usually spending his time relaxing. Due to the experiment performed on him, he no longer needs to wear a mask, at the cost of essentially having no face -- instead it is replaced by, quite literally, a blank, green-white space. This does not bother him, as he no longer needs to worry about his appearance, and it doesn't affect his ability to see, hear or speak at all. He carries a pair of unbreakable, green shields, similar to the Dark Hunter Firedracax, and usually acts as a support unit on the field. Who does he work with? Against? Loky tends to stay neutral, though has been known to pair up with Kovian (and, through him, other Dark Hunters) on missions. Final thoughts? Loky's a pretty cool dude. He's actually the result of the combination of the regular Matoran from Innocence and another Dark Hunter I had planned called Symbiont (essentially a carbon copy of Venom from Spider-Man, now canceled (thank goodness;)) frankly I like this better than the alternative option... There will be another teaser soon, to go along with the next chapter of Broken Unity, which should be wrapped up by October (no promises.) Hope you enjoyed.
