  1. Alright, everyone. I thought it was time to make a thread to consolidate everything about a Hero Factory continuation, be it theories, wants, stuff, etc. There are already quite a few threads with smaller parts, but basically just throw all your ideas here. So far, just explore pages 1 and 2 of this forum and there's quite a lot of stuff. Anyway, my big thing would be a TT game, as I have FREQUENTLY stated in my previous posts. I already made a thread with some of my ideas, so you can check it out (but I'm not forcing you). For those of you who don't know (but I'm pretty sure you do know), TT, a.k.a. Traveller's Tales, have made almost all of the mainstream LEGO games since LEGO Star Wars (I think). You've got licensed serieseseses like Marvel, Batman, Star Wars and Harry Potter, and original LEGO works like Ninjago, Chima and City. The TT games are always great (almost finished Batman 1, and it's a blast) and I'm pretty sure there's at least one other person here who would like to have a TT Hero Factory game (even though, not be pessimistic or anything, it probably won't happen). Maybe you would want a double, triple or quadruple TV special, like Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Or another Secret Mission book? Or maybe a Hero Factory FM episode? Or an Amuzo mobile game (hey, I'm just throwing everything at this topic)? Really, there's so many options. Feel free to discuss them. I'd love to hear!
  2. Well, I've been mentioning it sporadically for a while now--and now it has officially begun! With some help from my siblings, I'm working on MoCing up sets and writing a storyline, but, as always, funds are low. 4. BS01 has been working on a very special project that we hope you'll enjoy. As a teaser, here's a quick promotional logo and an excerpt from the upcoming story. We'll have plenty more details forthcoming, so stay tuned.
  5. EDIT: We're using Slack to organize and communicate. Anyone interested will need to PM me their email address in order for me to get them in. This can be a throwaway if that makes you more comfortable, but keep in mind that you'll be using that whenever you log in. Once you've received your invite, you can join at bioniclestory.slack.com. We've also added an age limit - currently 15 - for entry. EDIT2: We've now reached capacity for the time being, and are no longer excepting people. We may reconsider in the future. _______________________________________________________________________ Ever since G2's cancelation, I've noticed that several fans have displayed interest in continuing Bionicle in our own way. Some of this has been relatively small scale: "We will continue without them. Get your MOCs and storyboards ready." - this is just one comment I've seen among many, encouraging fans to continue what we have always loved doing. I've also come across more ambitious suggestions, such as the creation of a group to finish LEGO's G2 story. The thing is, there are a ton of really creative people within our fandom. The most common that we see come in the form of MOCs, but we've also seen people create 3D printable masks, small games, a matron language, and some really beautiful artwork (I'm a big fan of IRON6DUCK's "Mata Nui Sights" series myself). This is only the tip of the iceberg pertaining to what Bionicle fans have made, but I think you can see what I'm getting at here. We have a lot of really great content, but all of it exists in its own little corner. Many of us limit our creations to our own head-canons, many of which might take place in a universe entirely distinct from those created by LEGO. What I'm proposing is that we bring together a group of fans to build an unofficial Bionicle "canon" until such a time that Lego decides to pick it up again. The function of this group would be twofold: to organize the existing official content into our new canon, and to direct the creation of new content in order to continue the story. This could be small scale (i.e., just mocs and short stories), large scale (3-d printable sets, comics, novels) or somewhere in-between, depending on what the members involved are able/have time to do.
  6. feel free to dismiss this as non canon, kf, but i just wanted to write this. discuss my trash epic here
  7. Dane-gerous

    departure

It wasn't the fall that hurt the most. It was the fact that no-one helped him. Everyone just walked past him, ignoring the almost dead Ci-Toa, with blood leaking out of the back of his head. The ship that he had fallen from had gone. The concrete ground he hit was stained with protodermis, and other substances. If he didn't get help soon, he would die. But of course, BZ-Nui ignored him. His eye felt like it was dying. He wanted to close it badly. His eyes closed, and darkness enveloped him. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Dane, wake up!" A familiar voice shouted, desperately. Dane's eyes painfully wrenched open, the light hurting his optics. "Oh mata nui, you're alive. I thought that...maybe...you'd passed away..." It was Kovika, his......friend? "Yeah, well I'm not that easy to kill." Dane said grumpily, trying to get off of the bed he was currently lying down on. His legs screamed in pain. He looked down. Kovika had seemingly made sure his legs were in a splint. "Why did you help me?" The Huna wearing ice toa folded his arms. "You may have left the Kanohi Force, but I'm still your friend." Dane felt the back of his head. There was a soft bandage, going from the back of his head to around his now damaged eye. "'Fraid you're not gonna be getting that eye back for a while buddy, not till it heals." Dane sighed. "Do the others know I'm here?" Kovy shook his head. "Only Petewa." The Ci-Toa sighed, and let his head flop back onto the bed.

    SPRAT

Review topic: http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/19842-review-sprat/ ~~~ Generalissimo Takanuva folded his arms as he stood on the top of his transportation craft as it crawled over one of the ridgelines of the Black Spike Mountains. Included in his company were several guard crafts as well as a storage vehicle that was attached to the back of the main one. On this day it had been exactly one year since the demise of Teridax, and two years since the Toa Mata had first landed in the sea around Mata Nui. Since the arrival of the Matoran, the Agori had joined them and formed the United Village of Spherus Magna. However this came with a costly price. As of two weeks ago, a portion of the Great Beings had declared open war on the United Village and on the remaining Great Beings. Little was publicly known about the reason for this, but many speculate it is because they wanted a direct say in the operations of the United Village. Others think that it was a delayed punishment for the Core War. However only a select group of individuals, Generalissimo Takanuva included, know of their true nature. They didn’t trust the inhabitants of the Matoran Universe. Or at least the ones that served no good other than being worker drones. “They see us as toys,” Takanuva muttered to himself. “As robots programmed to perform tasks for their gratification. The sad thing is they’re willing to attack a village that’s equally populated by Agori just to take us out. In fact, I think that-” His musings were interrupted when he heard an explosion on the side of the ridge. He looked around and saw artillery shells flying through air. “The Tsundari!” he shouted as he leapt off the side of the transport and onto the ground. Tsundari was a combination of the Agori word for similar, “Tsda”, and the Matoran word for fake, “Unri”. They were entirely mechanical robots created by the breakaway Great Beings that resembled most Matoran, only they were hunched over and all the same color, a dull black. Takanuva drew his twin light staffs from the sheaths mounted on his back as he landed on the rocky ground. He saw a hatch opening in the side of the transport and a gangway was thrown down. Several Agori grenadiers sprang out with their launchers in hand. “Generalissimo, get back in the transport, we’ll hold off the Tsundari from out here,” said one of them as she trained her weapon down the mountain’s slope. “I didn’t become a Toa to be an armchair commander,” replied Takanuva. He leapt into the air with amazing finesse and landed at an angle on the mountainside. The momentum caused him to slide down, leaving a cloud of dust in his wake. He saw another shell fly overhead, but it was aimed at the transport, not him. He summoned a ball of radiant energy between his two light staffs. He charged it for second or two and sent it soaring through the air, landing square on the shell, exploding it prematurely. Takanuva turned around and continued sliding down the mountain. He saw more and more shells being fired upward, and he had to continue destroying them before they got too close to the transport. He eventually came to a point where he could see what was at the bottom of the valley without having the fog obscuring it. There were two rocket artillery launchers among a crowd of Tsundari and a few Sand Stalkers. He charged up another ball of light, this time a larger one than what he had before. He held it over his head, but just before he fired it, he felt a strike to his back. This sent him off balance and rolling down the mountainside, the light ball dissipating. He landed on a small crag that jutted out from the rest of the hill. He immediately flipped himself over onto his back and saw an enormous silhouette standing over him. “You should have stayed inside, Generalissimo,” it sneered as it delivered a powerful blow to his forehead, knocking him out cold. *** Mirche crouched down as he peered out from behind a rock, his great mask of concealment activated. Beside him, standing as still as a statue, was a Le-Matoran named Piruk. He narrowed his eyes. There he was, his prize. Nektann, an escaped war criminal had busted out of prison approximately three months ago. It was Mirche’s task, assigned by the House of Leaders themselves, to hunt him down. Piruk tagged along with him because he always enjoyed the company of a Matoran on his missions, and Piruk was one of his closest friends. They met each other when Piruk got separated from his fellow Voya Nui Matoran during the exodus from the Matoran Universe. Mirche was the only one willing to help him find his friends, partially because Mirche didn’t have a group to keep up with in the first place. “Do you see him?” whispered Piruk. “Yup,” said Mirche as he ducked back down below the rock, deactivating his great Huna. “Luckily his scythe was broken during the great battle, otherwise we’d have to deal with him using the element of Water against us. That leaves his physical prowess, his impact vision, and his corrosion ability. I’m not like most Toa of Fire, I don’t wear a whole bunch of armor. So that eliminates his corrosion.” “This one looks comparatively easy.” “Lets hope so,” said Mirche as he leapt out from behind the rock, his spear in hand. He fired twin jets of white hot flames from his feet which sent him rocketing into the air. Nektann immediately heard this and spun around, shock and fear in his eyes. “A Toa,” he seethed as he saw the flying figure of Mirche. He sent twin beams of impact vision at him, however they missed by a long shot. Mirce raised his pointed his spear toward the ground and cut off his propulsion. This sent him flying downward, landing weapon first. He then mentally connected to the blade of the weapon, sending an incredible amount of heat through the ground, melting it into lava. However Nektann saw this and he barely escaped the circle of liquid rock as it formed. He picked up a small boulder and hurled it at Mirche, however the Toa of Fire created a mental link with the rock and caused it to incinerate on the spot. Mirche had discovered how to mentally connect with inanimate objects while he was back in the Matoran Universe. He became a Toa approximately 35,000 years after the Core War, however he was never part of a Toa team. He spent his days wandering a vast plainsland on the Northern Continent, hunting Rahi with his primitive spear. The first time he had spoken to anyone in 65,000 years was Piruk during the evacuation of the universe. This prolonged isolation allowed him to build up a mental fortitude unmatched by any other being, an accomplishment that he was rather proud of. Now Mirche concentrated on Nektann’s armor. He heated it up to a temperature that would severely burn his skin, but not harm his muscular tissue. He smiled as he heard the Skakdi screech in pain. He used this moment to spring forward and tackle the former warlord. He pulled out a syringe that had a strange purple liquid within from his knapsack and injected it into Nektann’s ear. Almost as soon as he did so, the blue Skakdi fell limp. “Lights out, buddy,” said Mirche as he hauled him over his shoulder and walked back over to Piruk. “How long do we have to get back to Mordak Makhmud before he wakes up?” “I’d say about a week. That juice induces a real powerful coma, I doubt even this guy would shake it off before at least eight days.” Mordak Makhmud was the capital city of the United Village. They had traveled for four days before they began to arrive in the outskirts of Mordak Makhmud. Here there were many stretches of farmland, accompanied by the occasional farm shack. They would pass by and greet an occasional farmer who was taking the road to visit one of their neighbors or check on a different section of their land. Another day passed and they entered the furthest wall of the city. They got on the monorail line, which took them to the central district, where the were escorted to the village prison. They deposited the comatose Nektann there, and they then made there way for the House of Leaders. “You’ll have to wait outside,” said Mirche as he entered the building. “Yes yes, I know the procedure,” said Piruk. “Although you might get in if you really wanted to. Don’t you know one of the members of the House?” “Who, Garan? Ah, that’ll just be a big bother. No need to have to carve my way through all that red tape just to pop in and say hello.” “Well, if you say so. Stay out of trouble.” Mirche entered into the lobby, where he was greeted by an Agori at the entrance desk. “Mister Mirche?” “That’s me.” “Yes, you’re requested in Colonel Norik’s office.” “It’ll have to wait, I need to speak with the House first.” “He said that you should do it as soon as you arrived. And the House is currently debating a resolution, so you couldn’t go in anyway.” “Oh. Well, alright then. Thanks for the notice.” “No problem, sir.” Mirche ascended the stairs to the third floor, where he knocked at Colonel Norik’s door. “Knock knock, anybody home?” “Come in.” “Hey there sweetheart,” said Mirche sarcastically. “How’s dinner cookin’, papa bear is hungry after a long day of work.” “Honestly Specialist Mirche, you have got to learn to be more respectful of your commanding officers,” sighed Norik. “You’re lucky that I’m the one that was put in charge of you, Colonel Bomonga or Lieutenant Colonel Kongu wouldn’t put up with your shenanigans for a day.” “Yes yes, I know. But in reality I must be doing you a great service, I doubt that any of your peers give you anything to laugh about.” Miche sat down in a chair and propped his feet up onto Norik’s desk. “Take your feet down.” “What’s the magic word?” “I said take your feet down, Specialist!” “Alright, alright. So the doorman said that you needed me, what’s going down today, b0ss?” “Yes, I have just received word from higher up.” “Oh boy, have the clouds started talking to you, because last I checked you didn’t own a Rau.” “This is actually a personal request from General Gali. Generalissimo Takanuva has gone missing. His caravan was attacked while he was traversing over the Black Spike Mountains, and we believe that it was the work of the Tsundari.” “Who else would do it?” “The Dark Hunters and the Skrall are possibilities.” “Bah, the Dark Hunters wouldn’t attack us unless they planned on using Takanuva as a bargaining chip for something bigger, and I’m sure that the Skrall have other things to worry about.” “As I was saying, General Gali wants myself, Gresh, Tarix, and Kualus to assemble a small team of soldiers specifically for retrieving persons.” “Well that’s my specialty.” “Exactly, and you’re the most talented one I have employed in said specialty. That’s why I’m asking you to join this team. Right now it’s named SPRAT, or Specialized Personnel Retrieval and Tracking.” “Bonus points for a snazzy name. Alright, where do I sign up?” “I’ve taken care of the paperwork already, don’t worry. All I need to tell you is that you’ll be packing your bags for tomorrow.” “Oh, and what is this for?” “You and the three other SPRAT members will report to Lieutenant Colonel Hewkii’s outpost positioned on the border lands.” “What good will us being on the border lands be?” “That’s where we believe that the breakaway Great Beings are operating from. We also suspect that Takanuva has been transported there.” “Wonderful, being thrown away from civilization is what I do best. Now if you excuse me Norik, I’ve got to go show the geasers in the House that I know how to go on a proper Skakdi hunt.”
  9. What follows is a theory I've been thinking about since the release of the first BIONICLE 2015 videos, and for that reason the post may be quite long. It is also my first thread so if the writing style is hard to read, I apologise. Anyway: THE BASIC IDEA My theory is that Generation 2 is actually set in the same universe and continuity as Generation 1, but enough years forward in the future that the events of G1 will not need to be mentioned in order to understand G2. BUT, DIDN'T LEGO SAY G2 IS A REBOOT? I think many fans of G1 would like G2 to be canonically related somehow to the previous story. LEGO know this, so are likely to have done this somehow. Although they have stated this is a "reboot", I believe that is wordplay to mean "you don't need to know G1 to understand G2, and you would not know that there was a G1 just by following the story of G2". THE MAIN THEORY, AND EVIDENCE 1) Teridax, the Golden Skinned Being and Makuta My first point regards the Golden Skinned Being (GSB) from G1, and how its golden colouration and powers of control are similar to G2's "Makuta". -Teridax created the GSB before the final battle, however it did not take part in that battle. That implies it had another purpose, which I believe could be a backup body, in case Teridax lost the battle and had to leave the GSR. However, Teridax didn't plan to be defeated in a way that destroyed the Core Processor holding his Antidermis. That destruction meant some Antidermis was lost. After some time composing himself, Teridax in Antidermis form heads to find the GSB, losing more Antidermis on the way. He manages to take over the mind of the GSB, but the Antidermis he lost earlier encoded many of his memories. He now thinks his name is "Makuta", and only remembers his original purpose of helping the Matoran. He becomes a mask maker and forges a mask for himself that embodies his power of Control. (As a side note, the GSB took control of the Toa Mahri, so if this theory is accurate then Makuta in G2 may control five corrupted Toa.) 2) The island of Okoto and Spherus Magna -Okoto could be anywhere. However, this theory suggests that it is an island off the coast of the Spherus Magna mainland. It appears to have formed from its volcano, so requires some tectonic activity. It would be a nice reference if it was in the huge circle of ocean where Aqua Magna rejoined the planet (which would presumably have residual tectonic activity from the heat of Aqua Magna being reshaped to fit into the hole in Spherus Magna), so that Okoto floats in the same (now not so) Endless Ocean that Mata Nui did. 3) The villagers, and why "Air" is now "Jungle" This regards how the Protectors seem more similar to Agori than Matoran. -Firstly, the Protectors can give birth, grow from children and age. This suggests that they are organic beings like Agori, who could also reproduce etc. Matoran are biomechanical and can not reproduce etc. (As an aside, this is good evidence that G2 is not a rerun of the G1 story as some theorise, because if it were, why not use Matoran?) The armour and Earth Elemental Blaster fit the description of "technological implants" like the Agori got. -Secondly, the G1 Jungle Tribe has passed on its name to the Jungle villagers, despite them having Air elemental powers (evidenced by Air Elemental Blaster and Protector "Jungle Mask", not "Mask of Jungle" as with the other masks). -Thirdly, enough time has passed since G1 in order for the intelligent Zesk to have evolved back to their non-beast form. They became known as Stone villagers to avoid the association with their beast-like Sand Tribe past and to reflect the elemental abilities Ekimu granted them. The similar armour that all the tribes wear hides any remaining differences. 4) Why the Toa are even more familiar than they currently seem Concerning their arrival -Firstly, the G2 Toa look like upgrades of the G1 Toa, not rebuilds. The addition of gold armour parts in G1 indicated a disinguished Toa team, something the Mata definitely would have counted as after the reforming of Spherus Magna, and were possibly given new armour before G2 to recognise that. -Secondly, the references to the past, and the Vahi, imply that this is the same Toa team from the past. -Thirdly, the Toa in G2 have memory loss and that could include forgetting that their masks have avilities like shielding etc. -Fouthly, the Toa according to this theory are still biomechanical. Therefore they are immortal, which explains why the mortal Protectors see them as "timeless" heroes. It also explains why the Protectors are surprised that the Toa survived a crash-landing - biological Protectors are more fragile beings, so would not survive a similar landing. -Lastly, as a side note, in G1 astrology was not a thing. If that holds true for G2, then the requirements that the "planets align" could have a non-mystical explanation. The "Toa Planets" could actually have been the Toa themselves, orbiting Spherus Magna in canisters or space stations (a similar idea to G1's Red Star - I imagine that the planets did not disappear when the Toa arrived, so something must remain that the Toa were ejected from). The "planets" must align overhead before you summon the Toa, because otherwise they will fall from space onto the wrong island! 5) Ekimu and his love of elemental masks This section is about the fact that gold elemental masks are supposedly better than non-gold elemental masks. -The regular Toa masks do not have to actually be masks of their elements. As mentioned above, they could be the G1 masks. The masks still enhance the natural elemental abilities of the users, but that is because any Kanohi helps channel a Toa's elemental abilities. The Protectors have mistakenly told the Toa that their regular masks are elemental because the protector masks ARE elemental. -If the regular Toa masks aren't elemental, then that leaves it free for the golden masks to be the Elemental Great Kanohi that were even possible to exist in G1. They need not be of a new, higher power level above the regular Kanohi. These masks will of course boost the Toa's elemental ability because it gives the Toa access to more power on top of what they have innately. However, future plot lines could involve the Toa remembering that their basic masks have different abilities, and they may wish to switch back to them. ...And that's the theory so far! My last point is that I do not think LEGO will confirm that G2 is a continuation, even if it is, until after G2 finishes. They do not want to confuse new fans, as we know. Instead, it could be the final surprise to keep fans talking once the theme is gone. Anyway, thanks for reading! Please give me your thoughts and I'd love to hear of if I have got any plot details wrong - this is supposed to perfectly link the two canons. And if no one reads all this, then at least I won't look so stupid when the theory is proved wrong!
  10. Ignoring all the evidence we've seen thus far, what kind of story would you prefer should Bionicle come back? Close if dupe. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it was.
  11. This is the topic for the next three set of Hitman games. Wait until Flaredrick has posted the next topic before posting. And a little message: Fighty has left the series in our hands. Let's do our best to continue his legacy and create a series that can rival the prevalence of Mafia or Bionifight. I think we can do that, but it all depends on everyone. Oh, and sign me up for the next game.
  12. This is the review topic for my Continuation of the Bionicle Storyline, It's a Video Podcast Series called End of the Beginning. It follows The Yesterday Quest and The Powers That Be, and is being dually written by myself with Secrets of the Star.

As some of you may know, I have recently finished my Continuations of The Powers That Be and The Yesterday Quest. I like to keep my books and chapter lengths about the same as the original chapters, so I refused to go over 12 chapters, and chapters that were longer than 1,800 words. Because of this, I wasn't able to finish the storyline, so I am going to write two more series that finish it up, this is the second of these, I call it...End of the Beginning, the other is called Secrets of the Star, a series that follows Matoro. It's a Video Podcast series that primarily follows the Chronicler and his group as he travels to the different villages and records the history of the new community. It also has some parts from Malum's point of view. Before reading this, I suggest you read The Powers That Be Continuation and The Yesterday Quest Continuation, as it makes certain events in this story make more sense. PLEASE leave me some feedback, even if it's something simple like "I liked this epic", or "I didn't like this epic."Review Topic Video Podcast Version of Chapter 1 Click on the spoiler below to read the chapter rather than listen to the audio version.

The rest of the Toa Mahri were there, as well as the Toa Hagah, and the Toa Nuva (with the exception of Lewa), including Takanuva, a Toa of Magnetism named Neurox, a Toa of Plasma named Cirek, a Toa of Acid named Kyrah, who was the last member of the Acid Elementals, and the Ta-Koro Guard, Agni; their leader, Kalama, Keahi, Maglya, and Parko. From New Atero, Ackar; the Prime Glatorian, Ovea; the Second Glatorian, Perditus; the Vehicle Pilot, as well as Noreko and Mania, and an Agori named Crotesius. From New Tajun, Tarix; the veteran warrior and Prime Glatorian, Kiina; the Second Glatorian, Telza; the Vehicle Pilot, Vodar and Iroka, and lastly, Berix; an Agori and friend of Kiina. That made a total of over thirty warriors, hopefully enough to stop the Element Lords. Only two Glatorian, Churio, a retired Glatorian of New Tajun, and Greho, a Fire Tribe warrior who had wounded himself recently, were staying behind to guard the two villages. The ten Glatorian and the two Agori piled into the two Thornatus vehicle piloted by Telza and Perditus, and then set off towards the Valley of the Maze… … Takadox grinned. A few hours ago, he had single-handedly slain Pridak, Ehlek, and Kalmah, and taken over the Dark Hunters, which he had renamed Takadox’s Dark Kingdom. Before him stood Darkness, a Dark Hunter who was assigned to make sure the leader of the Dark hunters knew no fear, and to kill him if he showed any signs of it.Behind him stood Sentrakh; his personal bodyguard, Lariska; the recruiting and training lieutenant, and Eliminator; the execution lieutenant.Takadox waved his hand, and Sentrakh left. Darkness hopped up to his perch at the top of Takadox’s tall chair. Takadox turned to Eliminator and said, “As of now, all Dark Hunters shall be referred to as Kingdominions, that being said, have any members of the Kingdom repeatedly failed any missions recently?”Eliminator and Lariska exchanged astonished looks, a little surprised at how quickly Takadox was filling the role of a well-informed and tactical leader. Eliminator stammered, “Firedracax has failed to his goal for the past three missions.”Takadox replied, “Then you know what to do.”Eliminator nodded, and turned to leave, but Takadox stopped him and added, “Oh, and one more thing, have any members recently disappeared or not returned from missions?”Eliminator replied, “Voporak was sent to retrieve the Mask of Time, but didn’t return. Also, Devastator disappeared during the relocation to our new base.”Takadox nodded, “Alright, carry out your orders, and send in The Recorder.”Eliminator dipped his head in respect, and then left. Takadox turned to Lariska and said, “Ah, we meet again my dear Lariska.”Lariska was taken aback by Takadox’s calm tone, and he continued, “Even though our time together was short back on the voyage to find Makuta Miserix, I liked you the moment I met you.”Lariska was once again taken aback, and Takadox finished, “But before we continue this, tell me, how is the training of our newest members coming?”Lariska stammered, “Well…I recruited three Vortixx, but only one of them was able to pass the test, a female named Fatalla, she fought Charger and was able to beat him. I executed the other two because they attacked me after they failed the test.”Takadox nodded and Lariska continued, “I also recruited a pair of Skakdi who both passed their tests against Lurker and Prototype.”Takadox nodded once more and said, “That will replace the three lost members.”At that very moment, The Recorder entered the room and said, “You called for me sire?”Takadox sighed, “It appears we will have to continue this later my dear.”Lariska nodded and quickly walked out of the room, not bothering to dip her head in the normal respectful fashion, and instead cast confused glances over her shoulder as she went.Takadox turned to The Recorder and said, “Note the following. The Dark Hunters and the League of Six Kingdoms merge, forming Takadox’s Dark Kingdom. The Shadowed One killed under unknown circumstances. The remaining Barraki executed for incompetence.”The Recorder glanced up from his tablet and said, “Anything else my lord?”Takadox shook his head, “no, I must be left alone to consider my new members and give them codenames, as well as assign missions.”The Recorder nodded and left the room, leaving Takadox to himself… … The Dark Hunter known as Devastator lay on the ground, over him stood five black-armored figures. The Dark Hunter shook the stars form his head and looked at the tallest of the beings. The figure wore black armor, with lime colored designs etched into it. He held a buzzsaw-like shield that also had green designs on it, and a strange launcher in his other hand that had fired a spiked projectile that had blown him off his feet. Devastator spoke, “Who…or what…are you?”The being held his buzzsaw shield down to Devastator’s head, and said, “you can call me Venomu; leader of the Skrall.”He activated the blade, and Devastator screamed as his head was disconnected from the rest of his body... … Takadox glanced up at Darkness, who sat at the top of his chair. He watched as four figures, a Vortixx and two Skakdi, as well as Lariska, entered the room. Lariska said, “These are the three recruits I mentioned earlier.”Takadox nodded and said, “I have already come up with codenames for you.”He pointed towards the two Skakdi and continued, “You two shall be called Distracter, and Hunter.”He turned to the Vortixx, “And you shall be called Fatalla.”The three new Kingdominions nodded and left. Lariska was about to follow them, but Takadox stopped her, “Wait.”Lariska grimaced, waiting for Takadox to continue their earlier conversation, but she was relieved when he said, “Tell Eliminator that I want to see him.”She nodded and left, wiping a drop of sweat from her forehead as she went…

  17. Alrightsy. As some of you may know, I have been writing a continuation of The Powers That Be. I enjoyed doing that so much that I decided to do a continuation of The Yesterday Quest. So here it is! Before reading this, I suggest you read The Powers That Be Continuation, as it makes certain events in this story make more sense. PLEASE leave me some feedback, even if it's something simple like "I liked this epic", or "I didn't like this epic." You can read the original first three chapters by Greg Farshety here Review Topic Chapter 4 Chiara fired a bolt of lightning at one of the two Vorox, and his weapons were shattered moments later by Zaria. The other Vorox let out an alarm cry, and then turned and fired a shot from his cannon that sent Chiara tumbling back into the bushes. Zaria dove out from behind his cover and pinned the Vorox who had sounded the alarm to the ground.Zaria slammed his fist into the Vorox’s head, and the Sand Glatorian fell to the ground, his helmet cracked from Zaria’s blow. The first Vorox tried to get up, but it was knocked flat on its back by Chiara, who stomped out of the bushes, glaring, and blowing her hair-like strands that came from her head out of her face. The two Toa turned and headed in the direction of that Gelu and Orde had gone, and Chiara said, “So how are we going to beat Kabrua if he can shut off our powers?”“Did I mention I killed Makuta once? He was the guardian of an island just south of Daxia. His name was Malox, had quite the habit of bragging about himself.” Zaria said, “I beat him by letting his pride go to his head and letting him think he had beaten me. When he bent down to take my mask, I shattered his armor and slew him.”Chiara said, “So how does that help us with Kabrua?”“Kabrua believes that he has us cornered and beaten because he can take away our powers.” Zaria said, “But we have other weapons besides our elemental ones.”He pulled out a sword out that he had taken from one of the Vorox, and tossed a cannon to Chiara, saying “You like explosions?”Chiara grinned and narrowed her eyes, “Oh yes. I love explosions.” The Toa of Lightning said as she armed the launcher. … Gelu and Orde jumped down from the tree and ran upstream, towards the direction of the nearest Vorox. Kabrua and one of the other Sand Glatorian had run back in the direction of Chiara and Orde at the sound of an alarm call being made by one of the other Vorox.Gelu spotted the Vorox at the same moment the Sand Tribe Glatorian spotted him, and the two charged at each other. Moments before the Two Glatorian met, the Vorox skidded and slumped to the ground.Gelu turned to look at Orde, who was just opening his eyes. “Nighty night,” Said the Toa of Psionics, “Looks like Kabrua’s the only one who can disable my powers, because I had no trouble with that one.” He indicated a finger towards the unconscious Sand Tribe warrior.Suddenly Chiara and Zaria exploded out from a clump of bushes about ten feet from where Orde and Gelu stood. Zaria grabbed both the Toa of Psionics and the Iconox Glatorian and dove into the water, and the three of them were swept downstream.Chiara dipped one of her feet into the river and winced; she hated water. She turned at the sound of Kabrua’s footsteps, took a deep breath, and dove into the water.Kabrua popped out of the bushes a moment after Chiara disappeared around a bend in the river. He glanced around, scanning the beach for the Toa, but there was no sign of them, and he had lost all four of his warriors. He growled and ran back into the forest to gather more men together to hunt down the escaped prisoners… … Gelu, Zaria, and Orde stepped out of the river, shaking the water from their feet as they did walked onto the bank. Chiara stumbled out a few seconds later, and spewed water out of her mouth. Her hair was plastered to her mask, and her entire body was covered with water from head to toe. Orde let out a little chuckle as he saw her, which earned him a bolt of electricity in the foot.A smile broke out on Chiara’s face as she watched Orde hop around on one foot, howling with pain, and she slowly twisted up her hair, trying to wring out the water.Gelu spoke up, “How did you manage to get away from Kabrua?”Zaria was the one who answered, “We fought him with his own weapons. When he and the other Vorox came out of the jungle, we jumped the other one and stole his weapons.”He tossed a cannon to Orde, and the Toa of Psionics stared at the weapon, trying to figure out how it worked. Chiara turned to Gelu and said, “So now what?”Gelu opened his mouth to answer, but Zaria answered before he could, “Now we trap Kabrua, and find out how he managed to get information from a Great Being. After all, it might even help us find one of the Great Beings.”Gelu nodded, he had been about to suggest almost the same exact thing. The three Toa and Gelu began to set up a trap. When Kabrua came out of the jungle, all four of them would attack him at once, making him think all his enemies were in front of them. They had secretly hidden the two launchers in the bushes and tied the triggers to a vine. Then, when the Vorox emerged, Kabrua or another unlucky Sand Glatorian would get blasted in the back. The four of them finished, and waited ... Ten Minutes … Twenty … Thirty … An hour; and still no sign of Kabrua, or anyone for that matter. Orde was about to sit down, when Gelu said, “Quiet, something’s coming.”All four of them readied themselves. Suddenly half a dozen Vorox exploded from out of the ground right in front of the group, and safely past the tripwire. Two dove at Gelu, and another two at Zaria. Chiara tried to use her elemental lightning, but found she couldn’t, and watched as Kabrua tunneled up from underneath her, and almost managed to grab her legs. She locked her sword with his, and managed to knock his cannon from his hand. He activated her mask, and found that that still worked, but for some reason the sword she held was still visible. She threw it down and ran towards where the launchers were hidden. She picked one of them up and said, “Hey sand scum, open wide!”Kabrua turned towards her, and flew backwards as a sphere of energy struck him in the chest. Orde wrapped his arm around the stunned Sand Tribe leader’s neck and said, “Get back, all of you, or your leader gets it!”Kabrua laughed, “You wouldn’t kill me Toa. It would be going against your precious code.”Orde held Kabrua’s own sword against his neck, and pulled the blade closer, allowing a drop of blood to drip onto the ground. Kabrua’s smile disappeared and he said, “You wouldn’t.”Orde pulled the blade even closer, and three more drops escaped from the wound. “Watch me.” said the Toa of Psionics.Kabrua waved his hand, and five of the Vorox crawled back into the forest, casting loathing glares over their shoulders as they went. The six Vorox lay dead, slain by Gelu. The Iconox Glatorian walked over to Kabrua and said, “Talk. How did you shut off the Toa’s powers?”The Vorox laughed and replied, as if the answer was obvious, “Why, a Great Being showed me.”Gelu glanced at Orde, and then continued, “Who? What was his name?”The Sand Tribe leader rolled his eyes as if he were getting bored of the conversation, but still said, “He was disguised as one of you.” He indicated towards the Toa and continued, “One of the ones, you call, Po-Matoran. I believe his name was…Velika...”
  18. This is the review topic for my continuation of The Powers that Be. Please leave C&C, and don't troll.
  19. So, after about three weeks of reviewing, restructuring, rewrites, revisions, and all those other words that start with R, I present to you, my continuation of The Powers That Be. It's probable that you've heard many different continuations of this series by other people, but I ask that you take a moment to read mine. I promise you won't be disappointed. Also please give me some of your thoughts in the Review Topic, even if they are short and simple like, "I enjoyed this story, or I didn't enjoy this story."Also, please keep in mind that Velika is not the murder of Tren Krom and Karzahni, I found out about this after I wrote it, and I also quite dislike this revelation of the story. You can read the original first four chapters that were written by Greg Farshety here Review Topic Chapter 5 Lewa sat in a prison cell made of wood and twigs. He listened to the green beings outside talk amongst each other. If he really wanted to, Lewa could have easily shattered the flimsy structure to pieces, but he wasn’t out to make himself appear threatening, so he decided he would play the weakling unless put in serious danger. One of the beings soon came up to him and handed him a bowl of some strange liquid and said something in the foreign language. All Lewa could make out was a strange word, "Thornax."He didn't understand why he had been given it, but he took it and dipped his head gratefully. The small being walked away, casting mystified and confused looks over his shoulder at Lewa. Suddenly there was a crash, and the massive Reptilian Rahi that he had seen earlier came stomping into the clearing.Several of the small green villagers grabbed spears and rushed at the beast. Lewa watched in horror as one was zapped by the laser, and flew across the clearing, where he landed on the ground, and lay motionless. Lewa wasn't going to sit and watch these people get slaughtered, even if they had been hostile towards him.He flung his arms out, and blasted the prison cell apart. The villagers turned, and stared at him as if they expected him to be allied with the Rahi. Lewa activated his mask power, and launched himself into the air and sailed over the heads of the villagers. He slammed a fist into the Rahi's face, sending it toppling onto its side. The creature groaned, and Lewa used the moment to grab his two Air Katanas that lay in a spear rack by the side of one of the huts. He launched himself into the air again, but before he could strike a second blow to the creature, a massive quake shook the ground, sending the Rahi running back into the forest. When Lewa stood up again, he heard a cheer arise from the villagers. He wasn't quite sure how, but now he could understand the strange villagers. They picked him up and continued to cheer as they carried him in circles around the fire in a victory dance… ... Miserix smiled as he stared at the last remaining pool of antidermis left in existence. It had once been held in a cave on an island south of Artidax. With his knowledge of teleportation engineering that he had learned from Tridax, Miserix had built a teleporter that allowed him to move the island, similar to the way the Makuta base of Destral moved. With some precise planning, he had relocated the island to the watery section of Spherus Magna that had once been the moon of Aqua Magna.About ten feet away stood two figures; one was Vezon, an insane half-Skakdi Warrior who just so happened to have an Olmak fused to his face. The other was a being known as The Cursed One, who just so happened to be a Great Being. The Cursed One glared at Miserix; Miserix had agreed to help him escape, under the agreement that The Cursed One would help Miserix with something. The Cursed One walked forward and the ground around him seemed to come to life where he walked. The Great Being reached out his hand towards the antidermis, and slowly dipped a finger into the greenish-black substance. The pool swirled, and half a dozen hazy figures appeared. The Cursed One glared again, "Can I leave now oh great and mighty Miserix?" He said in a voice tinged with sarcasm.Miserix nodded, and the figure left, the floor in the cavern ceasing to live as he did so. Vezon said, "Well, I've love to stay, but I've got people to stab."He cackled as he pulled out the sharp blade that he had been given so long ago by Trinuma, and he thought of all the people he felt like killing. First he would kill the Piraka, and then the Toa Mahri. He opened a portal and stepped through, but he simply emerged on the other side of the room. The Skakdi smiled and said, "What an interesting cave, almost looks like...oh." He stared at Miserix and said, "I think the mask can hear me."Miserix ignored Vezon and stared at his six new minions, and gestured towards six sets of protosteel armor and weapons. The six newly-formed Makuta donned the armor, and then kneeled, saying, "Oh Great Miserix our leader, what is your bidding?"Miserix cackled as he stared down at the six new Makuta... ... Helryx stood outside the chamber that had once held a Great Being who had only referred to himself as The Cursed One. Soon after arrival, Toa Lewa and Toa Tuyet and left, and Miserix began to talk with the Great Being. She tried to intrude, since it sounded like Miserix was going to leave them there, but she was pinned to the wall by Miserix’s shadow bolts.Soon after, Miserix grabbed Vezon, who screamed, and a portal appeared on the other side of the room. The Cursed One and Miserix, who was still holding the insane Skakdi, stepped through the portal, and soon after it vanished, along with the shadow bolts that held her to the wall, leaving Helryx with Artakha, Axonn, and Brutaka, who was under some kind of spell.Artakha spoke, “We need to find Protodermis, so I can create another Olmak to get us off this planet.”He began to walk into the jungle with Brutaka behind him, but Helryx said, “You can’t just order us around!”Artakha turned and looked at her, staring her right in the eyes, challenging her defiance. She simply bowed her head in submitance and followed along with Axonn. She paused for a moment and said, “What about the Toa of Air?”Artakha continued towards the jungle and said, “His destiny lies here, now come, we must hurry.”… ... Kongu chuckled as Hewkii, who was arm-wrestling with Kolar, a Toa of Gravity. Both Toa were using their gravitational powers to their advantage, but Hewkii only had a mask that controlled gravity. Kolar, on the other hand, controlled the entire element, and Hewkii was losing. The Toa of Stone’s arm slammed against the table and he said, “This is a stupid game anyway.” His purple Kanohi flashed in the sun as Kolar said, “You just can’t admit that I’m better at it than you.”Suddenly, Kolar’s grin turned to a frown as he looked upwards, and his eyes widened, “Fliers, incoming!”The other two Toa stared upwards; Kongu readied his two Cordak Blasters, and Hewkii pulled his spear off of his back. Kolar dodged a bolt of shadow and somersaulted to the left, landing in a crouch and firing a blast from his laser shotgun. One of the flying figures began to fall, and Hewkii and Kolar combined their powers to slam it down into the ground.Kolar drew his sword from his back and tried to make contact with the figure so he could pin him to the ground, but the figure dodged, and a blade of his own made of Shadow appeared in its hand. Kolar’s eyes widened as he said, “Makuta?!”Kongu fired two Cordak Bolts simultaneously from his cannons, and watched as the other two Makuta dodged, and then zoomed towards him. He held his hands up to his face for protection, but a wall of Stone arose from the ground and the two Makuta slammed into it, and fell to the ground, stunned from the impact.Kolar felt himself get pushed back into a defensive position, as the taller and stronger Makuta swung his blade at him. Hewkii tackled one of the dazed Makuta, and was about to deliver a blow to the shadowy figure’s face, but he was blasted in the face by a Power Scream, sending him flying backwards where he landed in a barely conscious heap twenty feet away.Kongu fired three more bolts at a third Makuta, who now stood with one arm limp from the damage. He was about to blast him with his elemental wind, but suddenly two simultaneous screams came from nearby. Kongu glanced around in horror. Hewkii stood with a shadow dagger driven into his arm, and was about to be killed by one of the Makuta.Kongu was even more horrified as he saw Kolar with a shadowy blade driven through his chest. Kongu and reached his hand towards his fallen friend, trying to save him, but it was too late. Kolar’s eyes were huge, they flickered for a moment, and then the Makuta drew his blade out and the Toa of Gravity screamed again as his heartlight went out.Kongu ran towards Hewkii and activated his mask power. Seconds later a massive Rahi Worm came out of the ground. It saw the Makuta first thankfully, and Kongu grabbed Hewkii’s body, pulling the dagger out and ran towards the east, leaving the Makuta to deal with the Rahi Beast…
