  1. Look. I know you are all going to mash away at your keyboards talking about Makuta, but I don't want him to be the front and centre villain just yet. This would probably build up the hype for his inevitable set, and that's another thing this new line should do. Establish a good rogues gallery. I really don't want to see our heroes fight Makuta each year, I want something fresh! I want to see a threat that strips them to their bare essence, a threat that tests their will and strength, a threat that is formidable enough to stand in their way. Sure, Makuta can do this all simultaneously, but I want to see something new. I personally think that the new threat should be villains (swarms or separate characters, you choose) that also have elemental powers. This would challenge the Toa not to just rely on themselves and their powers, but each other and the world around them. This was effective when the original Toa had to hold off the Bohrok swarms. One example of this was when Kopaka, Pohatu and Gali had to work together to eliminate a swarm of Tahnok. They accomplished this by flooding a large hole full of the creatures. This is the kind of challenge I want to see, but of course, don't make it a discount Bohrok storyline.
  2. Has anyone checked the LEGO Shop homepage? If you give a click on the Mask of Life image, it brings you to a page with a bunch of links to BIONICLE pages- with a unique description of the BIONICLE Story: Summoned by the Islanders of Okoto, the Toa have fallen from the sky to fight an ancient evil! Their masks make them the masters of the six elements, but legend tells of the powerful GOLDEN MASKS, which were scattered over the Island and now lie hidden. Now they must work with the Protectors to find each one and stop Makuta the Mask Hoarder recovering the MASK OF CREATION. In addition to the absorbing world and compelling story, the buildable action figures feature a simple and familiar snap-building system. Each model can be reassembled effortlessly after rugged play and combines easily with other sets to create new and ever more powerful heroes! The really unique part I guess would be this new title Makuta has. Is this going to be his title? The "Mask Hoarder". Because it's capitalized, I think it very well could be. Thoughts on this?
  3. So, some of you might be slamming away at your keyboard talking about Teridax, but this poll list is talking about those other antagonists. Y'know, like the Bahrag and the Piraka. Take your vote on this list of the best Bionicle villains that weren't Makuta Teridax.
  4. Wow, I haven't posted any art here for a while, though I'm always drawing. I guess I haven't drawn anything that I'd consider worthy to post here. That is, until now. For those of you unfamiliar with it, Corpus Rahkshi is an RPG run over in the RPG forum by I Am Ultron Six. In it, Kraata are suddenly becoming more intelligent and gaining personalities, much to the surprise of the Brotherhood. They placed all the new Rahkshi in what equates to a high school off the coast of Nynrah under the charge of Makuta Tridax, just to watch what happens. There's assignments ("assassinating" another student and ruining Christmas so far), factions (such as "Phogen's Heroes," the most prominent), and lots of fun to be had. This is one of my characters, Hoto, a blind Rahkshi of Dodge who uses a sort of echolocation and her powers to get around. She's always energetic and fun-loving, never letting her disability get in her way, though she can be emotional under stress. This art piece was also one of my first attempts at realistic shading without linework. It probably took me somewhere around 12-15 hours to complete in little intervals, but it was definitely worth it. It turned out a bit small, but hopefully large enough to see the details. I would love some criticism from those of you more familiar with shading so I can improve for future drawings. More commissions (don't expect anything as great as Hoto) Fang and Tube (mine) Abyssium (avmatoran) Kat (The UltimoScorp) Omega (VahkiDane) If you want to see what else I've been doing all this time, you can take a look around my Deviantart gallery. As always, comment, critique, and most of all, enjoy!
  5. Hello again, readers! Now be mindful that these opinions I will put forth are suggestions. The new Bionicle sets haven't even hit the shelves yet (at least in Australia), and we only have a synopsis of what will happen in 2015's line. In keeping with my belief that this theme should distinct itself more from it's predecessor, I will suggest some new ways to integrate it into the story, but I will still deviate from that a bit with these following suggestions: Add more elements. No matter when you joined the Bionicle crowd, you would always see a collection of six, distinctly coloured and powered heroes/villains dominate both the attention and the shelves. Fire, Water, Air/Jungle, Earth/Rock, Stone/Sand and Ice would be the elements and colours of whatever six-team we saw in any one wave. It is quite clear that this the first 2015 wave is following suit, keeping with the tradition. Personally, I believe we should change the elements up a bit. In the Generation 1 Bionicle story, we have several different elements besides the original six, and those other elements are plentiful. We have: Magnetism, Gravity, Sonics, Psonics, Plasma, Acid, Lightning, Sand, Rock, Plantlife, Light, Shadow, and Iron. I say we introduce another six of these elements into the new story, but further along the way, of course, very much like the Bohrok-Kal. It would be a very nice way to break the mold (with the protagonists), and it also builds upon the expanse of powers in this new universe. Bring back our favourite bio-mechanical animals. So far, the only animals we have seen are the Skull Spiders. That's a good start, hearkening back to the Toa battling Rahi controlled by Teridax, in that this year's heroes oppose creatures. But I feel that just these spiders aren't good enough. I really don't know if the Generation 2 storyline wants an emphasis on nature and creatures, but since Okoto is basically Mata Nui (the island) with a whole bunch more rocks and an ancient city, the story might as well bring back the Rahi. Now I'm not saying that the creatures should be called the Rahi again, as I'm quite open to another name, but the animals should stay. The original island of Mata Nui had a very vast and interesting environment, and this wasn't just demonstrated through mountains and lakes. The Rahi gave the island a lot of character, and whether the jungle was full of friendly Gukko birds or hostile Nui-Jaga helped set the tone. It seems that the island of Okoto wants to seem dangerous, particularly with the menacing Skull Spiders, and if so, then populate the waters, plains and mountains with sharks, bulls and bears respectively. Not only that, but it widens the focus of the Generation 2 world, and expands in the same way that new elements do. Also, we can possibly get another Rahi building competition! Yay! Bring in the Brotherhood. You know what one of my favourite things about Gen 1 was? The Brotherhood of Makuta. They were a collection of antagonists made of a green liquid who specialise in Rahi, weapon and virus creation. Sweet. In Gen 2, however, I am trying to stick to my main rule for this generation, but still keeping the appeal alive. I say that in this story, there are several fields of expertise in this universe, and maskmaking is one of them. Like the new Makuta, each of these masters become corrupt for... whatever reason, and plague the inhabitants of Okoto or whatever new location with their creations. These skills, each with their own, made-up names, should be the following: Rahi Creation, Weaponsmithing, and Energy Crafting. I think that these skills will add some variety to the threats our heroes will have to face, hopefully toning down the dominant use of shadow. With these also come a lot of potential for new enemies, and, yet again, expanding the lore of this new story to become as awesome as Gen 1 was. So, that concludes my surprisingly popular topic. Am I fanboying too much about the return of these Gen 1 story aspects, or are these inspired? Let me know!
  6. I was looking over the list of various Kraata powers that a Makuta has, and I noticed that they possess all the powers of the Bohrok-Kal. Now I'm sure that they don't have as much control over that power as the Kal did, but the fact of the matter is still there. The question is, was there a connection between the Antidermis that the Makuta are made of and the Kal substance that the Bahrag used, and that by creating the Kal they tapped into the powers of the Makuta and gave them to the respective Bohrok? or did the story writers just run out of powers for the Makuta, and decided "hey, we haven't used these powers in awhile, lets reuse them and let Makuta (and through extension Rahkshi) have the ability to have these powers too."? Or could there be a third reason? I'm open for ideas and opinions, I have no opinion of my own on this subject.

  9. I've been a long-time fan of bionicle, but the character design that really stood out for me was Krika. Here's my take on the character. *portrait incoming* Fullsize link: http://www.majhost.com/gallery/morkney/Newerart/bion.png I recoloured him a little, added a tail and switched his launcher for a hand (I mean, he's got to have a hand somewhere, so that he can interact with the environment...?). I kept the swampy environment and such. Image was produced in GIMP using a standard mouse. Anyway I'd love to hear your thoughts, and thanks for viewing!
  10. If you are looking at this post, then you have most likely seen and read my Tale of the Southern Toa epic series. First of all, thanks for checking me out! And second, I created this section as a discussion page so the actual story doesn't get so cluttered with comments. Feel free to give feedback and constructive criticism about the story. His body towers at 14 bio (63 feet), but he reduces his size on occasion. His armor weighs 983,911 lbs and is of a very high temper. He wears the Kanohi Mataxa, the great mask of entropy. It grants him the power to control the distribution of heat in a given area by raising or lowering entropy. He wields the Onui-Onoi sword (Black-Body sword), a magic black protosteel sword whose blade absorbs light. This sword is also given such a temper as to render it the hardest object in the universe. In addition, he wields the powers typical of a makuta, but has developed an unmatched mastery over magnetism, using it to further augment his incredible strength. Complimentary to his vast power is his incredible mind. As a Brotherhood scientist, Luroka had no equal, and even Teridax's schemes pale in comparison to Luroka's brilliance. All in all, he is a being of incredible power, and an unstoppable force when he sets his sights on something. Full gallery here: http://imgur.com/a/7mPop C&C is always appreciated!
  13. So, I had a theory while watching Black 6's most recent unboxing video, specifically, while he was examining the Lord of Skull Spider's box. The gold Skull Spider mask, which we do not yet know the significance of... could this be the Mask of Ultimate Power? 1) we never saw what it looked like in the animations, as it was shrouded by evil black energy. 2) The skull spiders latch onto the faces of Protectors and Masters, alike, but why? To control them? Where have I heard of mind-controlling masks before...? 3) The mask was forged by none other than Makuta. If he bears any similarities to his predecessor other than name, could that mean that he has a penchant for controlling slaves via masks? It'd be the perfect combination of kraata and Infected Kanohi (instead of seeking out masks to infect, the creatures themselves seek out targets to control, like the HF brains.) So, basically, Skull spider=Infected Kanohi, Mask of Ultimate Power is Makuta's way of controlling the newfound slaves. Sound plausible? Thoughts? Theories? Theatrics? (Also, if this idea has already popped up elsewhere, feel free to close this. Just thought I'd give my three cents. )
  14. QUOTE TAGS, I DON'T KNOW WHY YOU DON'T WORK, BUT PLEASE WORK After I posted this blog entry, I found myself frequently thinking about Makuta's role in Mask of Light. So here's another entry compiling my thoughts. A lot of what Makuta says in Mask of Light gets obfuscated by his demeanor. He has a deep, rumbling voice, an oily, patched-together appearance, and he hangs out in a cave filled with thick green smoke and pillars holding creatures in stasis. On top of it all, he is very clearly the designated villain in what is a kiddy, direct-to-video film made to sell toys. Literally everything sets our expectations to "he is a bad guy," and we don't question it. But look beyond this external layer, and we find something rather different through a few curious hints. It begins in Makuta's first appearance. Before he releases the Rahkshi, he contemplates, I'm not sure how to frame this in any way other than as remorse at the idea of what he is about to do. So what convinces him? It comes back to Mata Nui. Makuta will do whatever it takes to ensure his brother remains asleep. This isn't a ruthless, power-hungry maniac bent on world domination - if that were the case, he would have no qualms with unleashing the Rahkshi. So the Rahkshi set out and start to terrorize the island, and Makuta sits back and observes. But something goes wrong - Kopaka manages to freeze the beasts within a lake, incapacitating them. Makuta can no longer rely on the fact that his sons will halt the coming of the seventh Toa, so he goes to plan B. Even though Takua himself doesn't know it yet, Makuta knows that the Matoran is right smack in the center of this matter. So he makes him an offer: If you stand down, give me the Avohkii so that Mata Nui can never be awakened, I will leave you alone. Your friends, the entire island, will be free from my grasp. Takua, like us viewers, don't think twice about calling Mukau droppings on him. Yeah, right. If you give the McGuffin to the bad guy, he'll let you off scotch free. That's likely. But what happens after Takua departs, when Makuta is left to himself, with noone listening? What does he say? Unless Makuta is in the habit of lying through his teeth to himself for no reason, his offer was absolutely genuine. With his last resort, the Rahkshi, evidently unable to stand up to the Toa Nuva, his hand was forced and he tried the next best thing to victory: ensuring that his brother could, at least, remain asleep and be spared the pain of conciousness. But Takua has none of it, so he does the next best thing: more Rahkshi. So by now, you may be asking: why? Why are all of these hints dropped in Mask of Light, of all places? What about the myriad of other story media leading up to it, why isn't it hinted at in any of it, too? For the answer, we have to dig a little into the past. If you are a longtime fan, then you might recall the earliest press releases for Mask of Light in 2002. They had familiar elements: two friends on a quest, the fate of the island at stake. But something else was mentioned in these synopses meant to strip the story to its absolute core: the island is crumbling into the ocean. Obviously, this plot element does not survive into the final film. And with good reason, because it ties into another major element of the film that was canned: the awakening of Mata Nui. Throughout the conclusion, wierd things keep happening. Everyone insists that they are descending into the Mangaia to awaken the Great Spirit, only for the matter to be forgotten once they literally do something that is supposed to awaken him. Takanuva instructs for all of the island's inhabitants to be gathered, and later brought underground, but we only get the Turaga (in the novelization, the island's population does in fact show up). This all makes sense only in the context of a film where Mata Nui does awaken; the islanders would need to be safely underground before Mata Nui could stand up and destroy the island. This explains the early island-crumbling plot. In the days before his awakening, Mata Nui is stirring, rocking the island and breaking chunks of it off. Incidentally this explains a scene that does make it to the final film: Jaller and Takua's reuniting. Jaller ends up vulnerable thanks to an earthquake, which you don't really question until you look at is specifically. An earthquake? Natural disasters like that never happen on Mata Nui outside that instance. Its a really weird anomaly in the mythos that seems solely an excuse to have Jaller mistake Takua for an approaching Rahkshi until you consider that it was originally part of a very relevant, ongoing series of quakes on the island. That also explains Jaller's wry response to the event - earthquakes were common. Otherwise, he might have been expected to be more "wow! an earthquake!" like Vakama in the Kikanalo scene in LOMN. So that's why we get all of these hints dropped regarding Makuta's true nature. Originally, Mask of Light was the BIONICLE finale, and the climax was to be the revelation of Makuta's true nature. Eventually, Takanuva is born and travels to the Mangaia. Makuta's last ditch resort is to keep his cool and challenge Takanuva for his mask, as without the Toa of Light Mata Nui cannot be awakened. This, too fails, and we get to that all-important dialogue first highlighted by Lucina: Naturally, Takanuva reacts with shock, confusion and denial. And then Makuta responds with what seems like a really strange non-sequiter. But despite how little sense it makes, it has a powerful effect on Takanuva. Suddenly, he is confident. He knows what to do. {quote]Then let's take a closer look... behind that mask! I feel like the implication here is that Makuta's badness is somehow tied to his mask (the 'real' him is 'behind' it). Takutanuva isn't, in reality, all that important in the final movie. He lifts the gate for everyone. But if, say, Makuta had been incapacitated, it seems entirely within reason that the Toa Nuva could've opened it themselves somehow. But in our supposed original version of the film, Takutanuva is all-important. He is the merged conciousness of Takanuva and Makuta. Suddenly, both understand each other, and they know what must be done to set things right. Cue the awakening of Mata Nui. Fin. So there you have it. What Mask of Light could have been.
  15. Hey everybody! I'm wondering, who are your top two favorite Toa of 2015? My two favorites are -Tahu -Pohatu Post what are your favorite two! KopakaFan116
  16. NOTE: I have built MOCs of the Shadow Toa, which can be found here: http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/15347-the-shadow-toa/ Review thread here: http://www.bzpower.com/board/topic/15352-review-trials-of-the-shadow-toa/ Chapter 1 He awoke to the sound of water lapping on a shore. The sound made him feel at peace, as though nothing could go wrong with the world. Then he tried to move, and excruciating pain shot through every molecule of his being. He felt his muscles, his organs, all soft tissue in his body dissolve. A horrid scream erupted from his metallic mouth as his body writhed in the sand. Finally, the convulsions ceased, the pain left as quickly as it came. Gingerly, the suspicious being tried to move his index finger. The appendage obeyed it's master's commands with no trouble. Odd, he thought. Deciding that laying on the sand wouldn't give him answers, he stood up. There remained not even a clue to indicate the torture he endured, save the fact that his whole body now felt...different. When he raised his arms, he no longer felt a muscle flex, but a hinge creak and a piston hiss. Realizing he could find no more answers about what happened to him, he decided to scan his surroundings to see where he was. On the shore about twenty paces away was a gold-colored kanohi. Noticing for the first time that he wasn't wearing a mask, he walked over to it, his stride wobbly and awkward. Another oddity, he thought. I don't remember having such long legs. He bent to pick up the mask. Come to think of it, I don't remember anything. He donned the mask, and felt energy surge through his body. This is more my style, he thought with a grin. Now, let's see what else is here. Seeing nothing else in the immediate area besides some flying rahi, the newly masked being strode along the coastline. He noted that since he donned the mask, he walked with ease, as though he had long legs his whole life. After about ten minutes of walking, he spotted a badly damaged cage smashed against a large rock. Upon inspection, he found a plate on what he could only assume was once the door that had on it the word "Nulehk". Nulehk. Hm. Seems to me that word is familiar. A name, perhaps? He turned the plate over in his hands, and found the image of the mask he wore carved into the metal. My name? He contemplated the word. "Nulehk. Noo-leck". He thought his voice sounded strange, but the word seemed right. Nulehk it is, then. Feeling like the island he was on was potentially dangerous, Nulehk grabbed two bars from the cage and walked inland. * * * * Kotan walked up the mountain, head groggy and full of dark memories and images. He hated it here, a barren place with sand and rocks everywhere. Not a single tree in sight on the whole island. He didn't even know why he was climbing the mountain(which was becoming more and more apparent was a live volcano), except for the feeling of high altitude winds. Kotan tried to shake the clouds from his mind, but couldn't. "Think, Kotan", he said to himself as he sat down on a rock to rest. "You are a Toa. Of air, by your armor color. You were given a special task...and you somehow woke up in a pile of metal scraps on this barren wasteland. And you developed a habit of talking to yourself. Or have you always done that?" He sighed as he could remember no more. "At least I remembered my name", he chuckled. "Talking to oneself is difficult when one doesn't even know their own name." He continued his ascent. * * * * The Toa grunted as he hefted his warhammer out of the mess that used to be a young Tahtorak. Rage burned within his very being, odium at the world in general. He hated that he was here, on this hot, rocky island. He hated that all he could remember were three names. He hated most of all, though, that he couldn't tell which one was his, or if any were at all. Nulehk, Mutran, and Outa. Each seemed familiar and foreign at the same time. He looked down at his hands. They were dark blue. That makes no sense. I'm a Toa of water? I thought they were only female. He looked out to the sea. It won't hurt to try, I guess. He lifted his hands and concentrated on the water, not entirely sure how a Toa uses their elemental energies. Suddenly, his arms burst with sky-blue and black crackles of energy, and a spire of ice shot out of the ocean. Close, he thought. This still doesn't explain who I am, how I got here, or why there's a broken cage here. Calming himself, he put away his hammer and shield. I guess until I learn more, I can call myself Ko-Toa. After all, I must have been a Ko-Matoran once, right? Ko-Toa was not entirely convinced of that theory.
  17. A few days ago, I created a topic with my intial versions of Ekimu and Makuta. Now I'm back, with... Post-MoUP Makuta! Front image: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Makuta-Miras/EkimuAndMakuta/post-moup_makuta.png Back view: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Makuta-Miras/EkimuAndMakuta/post-moup_makuta_behind.png I used Witch Doctor's helmet as a stand-in for the MoUP, seeing as it hasn't been released yet. This build was mostly two things. One was actually trying to create a decent representation of Makuta after using the MoUP. The other was messing around with the new Chima 2014 shells which have recently been added to LDD. Anyway, comments and criticism will be appreciated!
  18. OK so we know about the Makuta's master plan. We know he needed to dispose of Mata Nui's spirit somehow and he chose to do that by putting it into the Kanohi Ignika and launching it into outer space. My question is: why the Ignika? It's the most powerful mask in the Matoran Universe. If I were overthrowing someone my first choices would be (a) kill him or (b) put him in a position where he has no power. There were like a million powerless Matoran Kanohi he could've put his spirit into, why did he choose the most powerful Kanohi of all, the one Kanohi that could create a new body and grant its allies Elemental Powers? And come to think of it, why did he put his spirit in a Kanohi at all, which can survive outer space? Why didn't he just put Mata Nui's spirit into Hafu, ejected Hafu into outer space (he did that anyway) and that would be the end of it: Mata Nui would be dead. BS01 states that the Makuta knew about the Ignika's power to obliterate all life in the Matoran Universe and wanted it gone for that reason, but that doesn't answer my question: the Makuta could have easily expelled both the Ignika and a hypothetical other host for the spirit of Mata Nui such as Hafu. That wouldn't solve the problem of having some sentient Kanohi out there with powers over life, but at least it would be controlled by the very immature Toa Ignika. Although the chances of Mata Nui coming back to fight the Makuta might have been small, it's like the Makuta was trying to run a risk here by giving the most powerful object in his universe the mind of the former most powerful being who he had now turned into his mortal enemy. So, why?
  19. First of all, I know that the user Makuta Miras did his own take on these characters before I took the chance to post mine, I just want you to consider this as a revision of his oeuvre, without any sort of destructive criticism. If you are reading these lines, I encourage you to keep doing amazing works such as your most recent one. Keep rockin', bro! ;D My version of the mask makers Ekimu and Makuta (which Makuta?) resembles more to the concept of the Protectors, judging by the fact that they aren't Toa/Masters; they are the promedium citizens of this world, the only difference being that they are blacksmiths bathed in gold. Without any futher a do, here they are: - Ekimu - Makuta Aside from Miras, I send shotouts to NickonAquaMagna and Bionicle Blog Shinobi.jp for their amazing gear function concepts. Nice work! And thanks to LEGO for remaking BIONICLE and sharing it's new animation webseries. Feel free to comment and give your opinion on this work, I truly appreciate it! Cya.
  20. Makuta lives on! That was my first thought with all the news today, my thoughts on the entire situation I'll write below in sort of a bullet-pointy way. - Unlike some, I'm actually really digging the animation style of that video we got. - Is that the same narrator from the old BIONICLE videos? - Wow, they could have named these two Artakha and Karzahni and we would have heard this story before. - I'm a bit curious if they're saving the name Mata Nui for something else, or just doing away with it completely. - THE MASK OF ULTIMATE POWER - I wonder where the Toa come in from all this. - Also, yay, they're actually being called Toa. So that's a pretty basic list of my thoughts so far. Can't wait to hear more. - Makuta of Metru Nui Okoto?
  21. I watched the animated film for Bionicle 2015 on Facebook. And then I wanted to make these. Ekimu: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Makuta-Miras/EkimuAndMakuta/ekimu.png Makuta (Before Mask of Ultimate Power): http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Makuta-Miras/EkimuAndMakuta/pre-moup_makuta.png I tried to make the Mask Makers as close as possible to their appearances in the animated film, in an attempt to see what they might be like as sets. Comments and criticism are welcome! The masks were as close as I could get them, by the way. The Mask of Creation and the Mask of Control aren't in LDD yet (Obviously) so I compensated.
  22. Bionicle: Kingdom come As written by yours truly An artificial story tying all my MOCs together Let's get on with it already. Chapter 1 Finally found The Ga-metru Town area was constantly filled, be it salesperson or pedestrian or official. There was always a good reason to be there, even if there wasn't, as if anything large occurred, it occurred there and nowhere else. As for decency, none of the Matoran were cheap or criminalistics. They all knew each other, and liked each other, and it kept their social status up. There were a few Matoran, Male ones, called in to wear blue armour and be social leaders, but they had to be trusted to their position. Kihohiki, Matoran of sound and the most outstanding of the Matoran implant leaders, finally groaned. He flopped his hand out of bed and wished he could just crack the alarm clock in two. Straining, he raised himself out of bed, and eventually got ready to go. It was a weekend, which meant he had to do some announcements at noon. Remembering that suddenly, he whipped himself around to face the clock. 11:57 A.M. Dropping breakfast 'til lunch time, he bolted out the door and ran as fast as he could to the city square. After a few minutes, he walked up to the edge of the Podium, and opened up a small slip of paper. "Welcome, once again, to the Ga-metru public announcement area(still city square). Thank you all for coming, and continuing to stay conscious this long." After a short laugh from the audience, he continued. "Our main announcement we wish to state is that this next week, we will be hosting the official election party for sub-city official. The candidates are up, and we hope you have a person picked out to vote for, because..." he went on, noticing a being, much bigger than a Matoran or Toa, sitting just out of sight of anyone else, scanning the crowds for something. As Kihohiki talked, he kept his eyes on that being, all while unlatching a firearm from the inside of the podium, until the being noticed Kihohiki staring right at him. He pulled the firearm out, and yelled out "Freeze!", but the being did not "Freeze" as expected. He instead leapt towards the podium. The Matoran fired, but the firearm didn't even stratch it, and it landed on Kihohiki, knocking him unconscious. Kihohiki awoke in great pain. He tried to move, but to no avail. He flashed his eyes open as best he could, and got a help at doing so when a hideous, disoriented figure looked down at him distastefully. Kihohiki gasped/screamed, and tried frantically to slip away, but to no avail. The odd creature laughed, and it turned into more of a diseased cackle. Moving away, Kihohiki noticed it was wearing a lab coat, but heavily stained with blood, and the whole room he was in looked like a ruined laboratory. That's why I can't slip away. thought Kihohiki as he felt the heavy metal straps holding him into position. The odd creature returned, with an I.V. in his hand, and slowly slid it into Kihohiki's arm. Kihohiki cringed, and shed a slight tear. He was deathly afraid of needles and was scared to have them even be next to him. The "Scientist" laughed a more sincere laugh, and lent in close to him. "Why are you weeping, Hm? Don't you know Toa don't cry?" and with that, he injected the anesthetic. Next chapter coming up soon.
  23. Here is a subject I've seen pop up a couple times in the various Bionicle 2015 topics, so I thought it would be good to make a poll out of it. Do you want Teridax to return in Bionicle 2015 as the main villain? If not, would you want another Makuta to be the main villain? And would want to see the Makuta species in Bionicle 2015? I say no to the first two questions. I believe Teridax's time in the storyline is over. He had a good run, but its time he stayed dead. I also wouldn't want to see another Makuta as the main villain, as I think it would be better to see a new threat in Bionicle 2015. As for the third question, I wouldn't mind seeing the Makuta return as a species, but not as the main villains. (Not at first, anyway.) I think that, if they were brought back, they could be built up in story a little bit instead of just thrown into it like in the Karda Nui storyline. These are my opinions on this, but I want to hear yours. What do you all say about this?
  24. This is, I believe, my third topic in BCC, and it's a self-MOC. Introducing the one, the only, Makuta Miras! Current Version (3.5): Front: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Makuta-Miras/MakutaMiras/Miras31-2/img_0062.jpg Back: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Makuta-Miras/MakutaMiras/Miras31-2/img_0065.jpg Front (Wings furled): http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Makuta-Miras/MakutaMiras/Miras31-2/img_0067.jpg Version 3.0: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Makuta-Miras/MakutaMiras/Miras3/img_0050.jpg (I apologise for the bits of Rahkshi on the sides. ) Version 2.0: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/Makuta-Miras/MakutaMiras/Miras2/img_0033.jpg Unfortunately, I couldn't find the ancient 1.0 and 1.5 versions, so you'll have to be happy with these. Anyway, the difference between 3.5 and 3.0 is the fact that 3.5 has better chest armour. 2.0 was kind of a low point, as Miras developed a bit of an 05 titan look, which didn't really work. Also, in 2.0, his wings were static. Which isn't good at all. The 3.0/3.5 torso is definitely one of my better ones, as the Rahkshi backbones really give it some shape. Comment, criticise, and above all else, be prepared to be disintegrated, critics! (That was a joke, by the way. I wouldn't do that. A Guurahk might, though. Except I don't have one. ) [Edit] Okay, version 3.5 has been entered in BFTGM!
