9) I think the best analogy is Sparta. The military is everything, and everyone who isn't in the military supports the military SKRALL!! TONIGHT WE DINE IN TAJUN!!!!! That does it, I'm getting everything even remotely Skrall-related.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «Darnit LEGO, just when you'd nearly lost me, you go all awesome and drag me back in! I seriously doubt I'll have the money for most of the new Bionicle stuff, all the Power Miners stuff, and one or two of the Star Wars things! As I just raved about, the new Glatorian are a significant improvement over the old ones. Gelu (?) lacks Strakk's crazy colours, which is good. The Admiral is like Malum, except far better, and he's MATA-RED, which is good. Stronius is like a very bulky Skrall, which is good. Mata Nui doesn't entirely suck, which is good. Kiina looks questionable, but she's (?) got some excellent recolours and a reasonably feminine build, which is good. And Vastus isn't Gresh, which is good.

Why, LEGO, WHYYY did you have to wait until around when I'll be turning seventeen to come up with Toy Story sets? WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY? MAN, that makes me feel old. yeah I'm a bit inactive again yadda yadda yadda get used to it

WANT. ALL OF IT. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «Also, those new Rock Monsters for summer sets look very nice, and (thankfully) more like the old Rock Raiders counterparts.

It, er, kind of looks like someone hacked your Featured stuff templates. =o

I've saved Vulcanus! No Bone Hunter would dare attack it now! It was fun while it lasted, and the whole deal being canonical is very nice.

LEGO.com is being really slow... and MLN isn't loading at all. D=

Fun. Actually, I find it somewhat interesting.

According to S@H, the Glatorian keep the Mistika's Australian price of AUD $20. >< The Agori have been inflated by AUD $2 compared to the Av-Matoran. >< Worst of all, the worst sets of Winter 2009, the titans, haven't received a price increase. ><

Well, I still remain undecided as to whether or not I'll continue buying Bionicle stuff in 2009 (with the obvious exception of hunting down older sets). I have - and please don't shoot me for saying this - warmed up to the Glatorian and Agori for the most part, but I still hate the titan sets. On one hand, some of the Glatorian look really good, and Vorox is tempting for the sheer TANness of it all. Also, those new unbent Hordika necks are sheer WANT. Having said that, I'm still not sure (mainly because of Malum, Strakk and the titans), and having (accidentally) seen leaked images (accidentally meaning when some people were stupid enough to post them here), I'm immensely apprehensive about continuing to purchase stuff for another year. I mean, it's the end of the Matoran Universe story, so what better time to jump off? We'll see how things go.

2009? Already? LEGO seriously needs to do something about the security of these things. Haven't seen them yet, nor do I intend to. I mean, come on, it's not even WINTER 2009 yet.
-
2009 information is allowed there, finally. Whee. =D Having said that, perhaps they should figure out a way of dividing Bara Magna information from Matoran Universe information, and create a set of categorisation templates for Glatorian, Agori, etc.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «"Johmak" does NOT sound like a feminine name. Really, it sounds distinctly male.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «Evidently, one of Gresh's flaws was fixed. His Inika armour isn't a green/silver blend, but solid green. Yay and such. Also, Berix and Tarix's feet look like win recolours, even if they're out-of-place on the respective sets.

I've decided that, even though it's near impossible due to their sheer age, I WANT some Slizers and RoboRiders. True, they're not quite Bionicle, but they look so awesome in their own right.
-
(Bump'd for awesomeness) I pity the fool who doesn't get it.

Obviously, it's drawing near, and with it, the 2009 Bionicle story. Speaking of which, my opinions on them have actually changed to some extent, some good, some bad. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «Firstly, the sets. My opinion on them hasn't changed much; in fact, for the most part, they look somewhat worse in detail. I think I've complained about the flaws of each enough. While on the subject, Tuma looks absolutely abysmal now that I can see his torso clearly, as does Fero and Skrimir. For some reason, though, I'm kind of drawn to purchasing them, particularly Vorox. Knowing me, though, once I get one, I'll want to purchase the rest. Also, I've just heard about a new neck piece implemented, an unbent variant on the Hordika necks, which is always a good thing. In short, if I get them at all, it'll be when they're on sale, perhaps late next year. I've been hearing a fair bit about the story lately. From what I've heard, it actually sounds pretty good. True, it doesn't sound as good as the 01-08 story, but hey, they could've botched it so much. In fact, the story's successfully retained my interest, and a factor in my vague interest in the sets. Also, the new comic artist, Mhan. His work thus far is AWESOME. Not quite Sayger's fluidity of motion, not quite Gallagher's epic detailing, but a nice interim.

It's websites like this which made the earlier years of Bionicle so awesome.

Oh boy, when I was younger, this set was WANT. It still is. Charge is awesome like that. Ivvrak for BBCC #51! Read and post!

If your name is "Dr. Octozonapus", get in there and comment on the MOC now. And no, this definitely isn't my BBC #51 entry.
