Hello everyone! I'm in the process of creating a new character for the traditional BIONICLE story. He's a heavily armed lone warrior who has made it his personal mission to wipe out the Dark Hunters all by himself (for reasons I haven't quite thought of yet). But my biggest problem in coming up with this character is a name. I don't want to give him a proper name, rather a code name instead. Things like: * Dark Hunter Killer * Dark Predator * Dark Nightmare * Dark Vengeance * Dark Killer And you get the idea of that. I need help in coming up with a name. Can you help me? I'd show you the rendered images of him, but I can't upload it directly to this post.

I noticed there wasn't any dedicated MOC thread, so let's hope this kicks one off! Here are some of my LDD MOCs, a few of which are rendered with the LDDtoPOVray tool and POVray. First up are a line of simple little guys I like to call "Nagas" for no reason other than I think the name fits In my mind, the top two are "Stage One" Nagas, whereas the bottom-most render is the most "advanced" form. They were an experiment in how simple I could make a MOC while still achieving a striking design. I think they succeeded! Here's one that's become sort of a cult hit on a popular imageboard's Bionicle discussions Her name is Strong Gertrude. She is strong. Trying to simultaneously convey both femininity and strength is no easy task in CCBS, a system that emphasizes masculinity. On the right is her skeletal framework, inspired by a feminine Breez overhaul. Her hands are based loosely on Brain Attack Surge's chest armor with some additions. Did I mention she has a family? She's about to lay some PAIN down on her brothers, Boris and Ivan.

My entry for BBCC#66 : Brains! on BZPower. Unit White Hound BCIV (Brain Control Parasiste Mech IV) is a small, fast and dangerous unit. This unit jump to target's head and inject its probe (which hidden under its body) to target's head. White Hound can recieve data and control target's mind by injecting probe and leave the probe on target's head, and the unit user can control target's mind. Gallery 1 -- 2 -- 3 -- 4 -- 5 -- 6 -- 7 -- 8 C & C are welcomed!!!

It seems that the creations of Bionicle consistently tended to backfire on their creators. From the Vahki, whose intended purpose of keeping order and dealing with Rahi turned dangerously awry, to Mata Nui's Makuta going terribly wrong, to the various Great Being creations not working as planned and getting out of control. This is strongly counter to Lego's message, which is an encouragement of creativity and innovation. Lego's creation (Bionicle) turned awry, and no longer served their purpose at hand, so, in the true vein of all things Bionicle, they went and tried to shut it down.Thoughts? Objections?

I don't really like pandering for comments, but I was wondering if some of y'all could take a look at my BBCC 61 entry Thanks.

My Goals for MOCing: -Make a Toa-Ju-esque MOC -Make something that uses those Pridak Feet in a cool way -Use more Mahri tubes (I love those) -Build a good Fusion MOC -Build some more non-Toa -Make more rahi -Use some of my cooler colored masks (in particular my green Kaukau or red Pakari) -Get Better (this is more of a check-list of things I want to do before I stop MOCing) P Well, I was actually looking for a different entry from my earlier years of having a blog, but this one made me smile a bit. Mainly because I didn't stop building, but also because of how my priorities shifted as I started to become a better builder. Also its just really funny to me to see that my goals shifted from those up there to these right here: -Get Better -Never Stop Building -Build things no one else has ever built

I will take decent pictures of this guy in his full, final glory. Probably tonight if my batteries continue to cooperate.

Because Jinzo would have made them into a GIF

So if any of y'all have been following my blog recently, you'd know that I've been building some things (shocker there) and talking about a collaboration. I think. Anyways, I have been working on a collaboration, and its still way in progress. Of course, I'm referring to the BIONICLE WITHOUT THE BIONICLE BRICKFAIR COLLAB. There are two sides, COG vs. Rebel. One is a strong military force, the other an underpowered uprising. Evil vs. Good. All that jazz. Basically what I'm saying is, YOU should definitely check it out, and if you're planning on going to Brickfair, you should make a COG or a rebel (or both!). And if you want to send in a MOC, why not send in a COG (or a rebel) (OR BOTH!)? The more the merrier, and besides, where's the fun in a collaboration if we keep it to ourselves?

Zip was right. You can build a really simple Toamod out of Hero Factory pieces and it won't look like garbage! Well, it can still turn out to be garbage, but at least basic stuff that's done well won't look bad.

(^links to huge image) So, I've made a few MOCs this year, but I think I've made my best MOCs this year, with out a doubt. Hope y'all like my MOCs from 2010 as I do!

I really need to get my light box and lamps.

Won't be properly posted until 2011. Enjoy the bad picture, I guess. The hand is placeholder. And depending on if I get a 2.0 for my birthday or not, I might update other parts of it as well.
-
A prize will go to anyone who can figure out, on their first try, all of the parts that I made in this assembly.
-
Only a few more things to do and then I'm done with this project. Just in time too, as my project's due by 5 p.m. tomorrow.

Wow, I actually posted a MOC topic in a kinda timely fashion. That's crazy. (It's here btw)

Finally took a good picture of this guy.
